omg hiiiiii twirling my hair batting my eyelashes <3
i really can't not put we know the devil here considering i have the tattoo and everything. thank u venus, for everything <3
new vegas. incredibly predictable but playing it alongside my best friend at a formulative age, being so into it we even did like cosplays and everything, is one of those feelings i'll treasure forever.
prev two are kind of all time faves but this ones a bit more recent: neon white. incredibly tight gameplay and i loved how straight up stupid it was, how much fun it had with that.
bugsnax. again i played this recently but i was blown away by how much this felt like a game made to be played by human beings? that sounds weird but everything works perfectly. it's so well done. the story is an absolute delight and so silly in the best way. the kind of game where the only incentive to do a second playthrough is because you genuinely want to experience the world & story again.
pre-2019 overwatch. i know. but the sheer amount of time i've put into this game - some of it even having fun - means it has to go on here somewhere. alternatively, pre-2016 tf2

When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside… why not sit back and enjoy another episode of 1UP Pod’s GamesMaster Revisited. This week’s episode takes a look at GamesMaster S1E7, where Andy & Chip let their inner wrestling nerd out.
The episode begins with a discussion about Dominik Diamond’s faith and how it relates to him making lots of cock jokes in a church, they veer off into a discussion about crucifixions and hot ribena, including Andy’s memories of a horrible school trip in the Lake District. This episode goes all over the map, honestly.
The first challenge is James Pond II: RoboCod, which Chip barely believes is a real thing. The guys discuss the punishing difficulty of the challenge and McVitie’s biscuits.
The reviews focus on adventure games with reviews of The Immortal (NES), Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge (Home Computer), and Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of the Lance (Master System).
The preview section focuses on Alien 3 on the Mega Drive, something Andy is sick of talking about after covering the game in not one, not two, but three lists for the website. And we get what may be the first-ever video list for video games as Dominik counts down the five best video game soundtracks.
The celebrity challenge is one Andy & Chip have been anticipating for weeks now – WWF WrestleMania Challenge on the NES, featuring Kendo Nagasaki. The lads talk about a not-so-proud/pretty racist wrestling tradition, their thoughts on the British wrestling scene of the ’80s and ’90s, Hulk Hogan, and Chip’s terrible time at Butlins. The challenge itself is a mess, but the discussion is fun. Andy busts out some GamesMaster knowledge and shares Dominik Diamond’s personal love of this segment with some info gleaned from the Oral History he got last Christmas.
The Consoletation Room features The Legend of Zelda, Stryder, and Mega Man – and the final challenge is a ruthless one.

Sega Mega Drive - James Pond 2 Codename Robocod
Title: James Pond 2 Codename Robocod / ジェームスポンドII コードネーム・ロボコッド
Developer: Millennium Interactive / Vectordean
Publisher: Electronic Arts Victor
Release date: 9 June 1993
Catalogue No.: EM20015
Genre: Platform Action
Tumblr media
The Mega Drive was home to various Amiga ports, and James Pond 2 is no exception. A sequel to James Pond Underwater Agent; and it is a prequel to James Pond 3 Operation STARFI5H. Looks superb, sounds great, and plays like a platform gamer's dream. Add the fact that the gameplay constantly throws out new challenges and surprises for the player to cope with and you have one of many definitive Mega Drive platformers. The Japanese Mega Drive version has a different title screen borrowed from the Super Famicom version (the western title screen is a bit basic by comparison), and this is one of few examples where a Mega Drive game came with a spine card.

Learning that the James Pond: Codename Robocod currently sold on Nintendo Switch is a pale remake of the original makes me glad that Sega Genesis/Mega Drive emulation is here to catch me.

Hey gang! It's me, James Pond. I've recently converted to Islam, and as such, I will be spending most of my time on exploring my spirituality. I will not be appearing in any more games, because I do not want to do violence. Have a nice week!
