It’s almost Christmas!!! Which means it’s once again time for Japanese yandere to be disappointed in their darlings for not actually doing the “western tradition” of eating fried chicken and strawberry shortcake

Only one of my coworkers actually knew that the fried chicken thing was just a marketing gimmick, the rest were floored when I said that fried chicken and Christmas cake aren't ubiquitous in America lol. The kids really want to try eggnog and eat candy canes, and they all REALLY loved the Hanukkah foods I showed them (protip, if you opened up a Jewish bakery that made sufganiyah and rugelach and kugel, you'd make a killing in Japan).

You know what IS well known here? Home Alone. Imagine your yandere eagerly renting the first two movies and insisting on watching it with you. Imagine them going nuts when you show them how to stir a candy cane into warm eggnog or hot cocoa. And if you celebrate Hanukkah they're very insistent on buying/making a menorah and instead of playing dreidel with geld, you play with kisses.
