Being on the ground was the best thing to happen to us. We were free from the Ark and I couldn’t be more excited. Being back on Earth was a million times better than being in the Skybox. I was finally able to be with my boyfriend and friends again. Jasper and Monty were a bit popular considering they made some pretty awesome alcohol. I was just another face in the crowd compared to them, but I didn’t mind.
It was currently Fall and the air was starting to get chilly. We were all in long sleeves and jackets to keep warm. Everyone was huddled up the fire a lot more than normal. I didn’t mind the cold, I mean we lived in space for years and it could get really cold up their sometimes. Since it was Fall, I wanted to explore the forest a bit. I read that the people that lived on Earth before it was destroyed for years to come, ate some stuff they found in the forest. I heard they had mushrooms that that could get you high! I really wanted to try one and see how it works, so I ran over to Jasper.
“Jas! I need you to come with me.” I said with a smile.
“Why? What’s wrong?” He asked concerned.
“Nothing’s wrong, just come on.” I said and started dragging him to the back of the dropship.
“What are we doing, baby?” He asked.
“We’re going into the forest, I wanna look for something.” I said and his eyes widened.
“You wanna leave the safety of camp just so you can look for something?” He asked and I sighed.
“We’ll still be safe, we won’t go too far.” I said and he frowned.
“Y/N, baby, I really don’t think we should…” He said and I groaned.
“Please, Jas! I promise everything will be okay.” I said with a pout. I gave him my best puppy-dog eyes and he sighed.
“Fine, no more than ten minutes.” He said and I smiled brightly.
“Deal!” I said and dragged him into the forest. We walked a bit in and I kept my eyes on the ground. That’s when I saw them. I ran over to them and dropped to my knees. I picked up the small brown mushrooms with a huge smile.
“Jas, I found them!” I said as I stood up. I turned to face him and he gave me a ‘really?’ look.
“We came out here for some mushrooms?” He asked.
“I read these can get you high.” I said and he looked at me warily.
“I think you can do them yourself, I don’t know if I trust them…” He said and I shrugged.
“Suit yourself.” I said and popped one into my mouth. My face scrunched up from the taste, but I managed to get it down.
“Come on, we’re going back before you get too high.” He said, grabbing my hand. I placed the other ones I picked into my pocket incase I needed more. We snuck back into camp and I started to feel floaty. The colors were getting brighter and everything looked beautiful. I looked over at Jasper and he looked like he was glowing.
“Whoa… you look so pretty.” I smiled. He chuckled and shook his head.
“What do you see?” He asked and I smiled.
“The colors are so bright and you’re glowing!” I giggled. He smiled at me and led me over to Monty, he was also glowing. Jasper sat us down next to him and Monty gave me a weird look.
“Why do you look high?” He asked and I just smiled.
“She had us sneak out of camp to go look for these mushrooms that get you high.” Jasper answered.
“Really? You ate some random mushroom? Are you even sure it was the right one?” He asked and I nodded.
“Yeah! All the colors are bright and you guys are glowing, that sound like a high to me.” I said and he shook his head.
“You know trips like that can turn bad, right?” He said and I just shrugged.
“How bad can something like this get? I mean it’s making everything so beautiful.” I answered and he just sighed.
An hour or so later I was still high as a kite. Anything that moved left trails behind them, and if I closed my eyes I could see colors and shapes melding together. I felt so relaxed thanks to Monty and Jasper. Their jokes were making me laugh harder than they normally would. I noticed Jasper had a smile on his face as he looked at me. I was resting my head on his shoulder and sighed with my eyes still closed.
“How you doing baby?” He asked and I opened my eyes and smiled at him.
“Goood.” I whispered and he kissed my forehead.
“Do you know how long the high lasts?” Monty asked and I shrugged.
“You don’t know?” Jasper asked with wide eyes.
“Nope.” I said, popping the p.
“That’s not good… if Clarke or Bellamy see her like this they’re gonna flip.” Monty said and I giggled.
Another hour pasted and things started getting weird. The colors were starting to melt along with whatever was around us. I felt my heart start beating faster and my breathing picking up a bit. The sounds were getting louder and I covered my ears as I closed my eyes.
“Y/N? Hey, are you okay?” Jaspered asked with a concerned tone. I shook my head and shut my eyes tighter. The colors continued to melt and everything felt so overwhelming.
“Baby, hey, look at me.” Jasper said as he pulled my hands away from my head. I shook my head again, but he gently cupped my cheek.
“Look at me, Y/N.” He said. I slowly opened my eyes and Jasper was melting. I gasped and tried to back away, but Jasper was holding me in place.
“It’s okay baby, you’re okay.” He said. I shook my head and felt tears falling down my face.
“Talk to me baby, tell me what’s wrong.” He said.
“E-Everything’s melting…” I whispered. His eyes widened and he looked over to Monty for help.
“Take her to your tent, maybe if she’s alone with just you it’ll calm her down.” He said and he nodded. Jasper helped me up and quickly led me to our tent. He sat me on our makeshift bed and held my hands in his still. Everything sounded a little quieter, but things were still melting.
“Okay, close your eyes and take a deep breath.” He whispered. I did as he asked and gripped his hands a little tighter.
“Just focus on my voice and try and relax.” He said. I nodded slowly and took another deep breath.
“You know that place up on the Ark that you love? That abandoned office you found?” He asked and I nodded.
“Picture that with your music playing in the background. No one can get to you there.” He said and I started picturing it. Everything was slowly swirling to a stop, but things in the room were still swaying slightly.
“Ha-ah-ah-ah, meet me there, Ha-ah-ah-ah, meet me there, Ah-ah, me there, Ha-ah-ah-ah, meet me there. Ha-hallelujah, oh I’m down on the beach, Ha-hallelujah, oh I’m down on the beach, Ha-ah-ah-ah hallelujah, oh, I’m down on the beach, Ha-hallelujah, oh I’m down on the beach.” Jasper sang one of my favorite songs quietly. I felt myself relaxing slowly as he sang to me. I started leaning against Jasper and he wrapped his arms around me.
“How are you feeling?” He whispered and I smiled up at him.
“Way better.” I whispered back.
“Are things still melting?” He asked and I shook my head.
“No, but the colors are still bright and leaving some trails if I move my head too fast.” I answered.
“That’s good. Maybe you should go to sleep.” He suggested and I nodded.
“That sounds like a good idea.” I agreed. He pulled me down on the bed and held me to him.
“You’re not eating anymore of those.” He said and I pouted.
“But-”
“No, I’m not watching you go through that again. This better wear off when you wake up.” He said and I sighed.
“Okay…” I mumbled. He kissed the top of my head and held me closer.

Summary: You and Edward Cullen used to have a romantic relationship. But fate seemed not to believe in the possibility of a vampire and a potential she-wolf being together. Years after your separation, you return to Forks. Edward is committed to Bella Swan, and Jacob Black has his own pack. What happens when, upon your return, you begin to transform into a she-wolf and both Edward and Jacob seem eager to revisit the past with you?
Author's Note: The characters in this fanfic do not belong to me but to Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight universe. The story blends events that happened in the Twilight saga movies with invented ones. Enjoy reading. This story will contain inappropriate language, a possible love triangle, scenes of violence, and romance.

ONE
The same nightmare every night, recurring in your mind as if it were an impossible memory to forget. A large part of the Quileute tribe killed by the hands of the one you will someday love. Not that your love story with Edward Cullen was worth anything. After all, he is a vampire. You are a descendant of a lineage of shapeshifters who transform into wolves. What could go right in this story? You've been driving for about two hours to reach Forks. It's been a month since you started having nightmares involving the tribe to which you belong and your ex-boyfriend. So, you decided to return to Forks to see your friends and those who are like family to you and, if possible, stay as far away as possible from Edward Cullen.
"If you had picked up your phone, Sam, you'd know I'm almost there. But since you didn't, just know I'm entering Forks now. I'll head to La Push as soon as possible." You say, leaving a message on Sam's voicemail. He knew you'd be arriving soon but didn't know exactly when. In fact, it was his idea for you to return to Forks. As your nightmares have become more frequent, you're so sleepy that you can barely tell how you're still managing to drive.
And then, like flashbacks in your mind, your moments with Edward and the pack you were part of come to the surface. You remember how you met Edward amidst a fight between the Quileutes and the Cullen vampires. One of them had accidentally crossed the border that separated the vampires from the wolves. It was chaos. Your father, who was alive at the time, was very angry and considered killing a Cullen to show that invading Quileute territory was a bad idea. Luckily, Jacob's father was more sensible. Edward read your mind for the first time that day. He knew you were curious about what the Cullens were doing crossing the border that separated the two enemies. So later, at the border, he found you and explained. Jasper had been hunting an unknown vampire who had hurt Alice and ended up crossing over. That was the first time you wondered if a vampire was okay, and when Edward noticed your slight concern for Jasper, he believed you were different. Amidst your moment of recollection, you lose concentration. But you only realize this when your car hits someone hard. You're dazed by the impact, but as soon as you look ahead, you feel a certain relief. Edward is right in front of you, staring at you with a curious look as if he doesn't quite understand that it's really you.
"What are you doing, Cullen?" you ask in an enraged tone. Of course you're angry. He's a vampire, unscathed after the collision with your car, while your car and you have suffered some impact. I mean, you can feel blood trickling near your right eye, but the damage to your car is definitely more significant.
"It's going to sound strange. Alice had a vision that saw me doing this as soon as you arrived here. I'm not saying I did it on purpose. In fact, I am hunting. But you really are here." Edward speaks as if he still doesn't quite understand that you're actually in front of him. You take a deep breath, trying to resist the urge to kill him for what happened to your car. In reality, you're unsure whether you should get out of the car or not. You're bleeding, and that could be a challenge for Edward.
"I'm not going to attack you, don't worry. I thought you knew I would never do something like that to you. I mean…" Edward says, and you automatically get out of the car, walking toward him. Something about the proximity between you leaves both of you speechless. You always hated when Cullen listened to your thoughts, and he knows that. The courtesy of having your private thoughts respected seemed to be valid only during your relationship.
"You mean you wouldn't attack anyone unless it was absolutely necessary. I know, I know you, Edward. What surprises me is the fact that you don't seem to know me. You know I hate when you… never mind. Maybe you only respected me while we were together. Now we're strangers to each other." You say, realizing how different he seems, even though he hasn't aged a day since the last time you saw him.
"I'm still the same, Y/N. The same guy you walked away from years ago." Edward speaks softly but with a certain sadness in his words. You look at him, unsure of how to respond. Yes, you ended your brief relationship out of fear of what your father would do to him if he found out.
"Look, I didn't intend to bring the past back. I think it's better if you go your way and I go mine." You say, turning to leave and drive your somewhat damaged car. But Edward appears in front of you before you can open the door.
"Carlisle can take care of that for you. I know he'd be glad to see you again." Edward says, stepping a little closer to you. You stare at him, this time not understanding what he wants. It's obvious he's talking about the injury on your head, but you don't understand why he seems so reluctant to distance himself.
"And I should go to your father figure and ask him to help me based on what? The fact that you and I were together years ago? The fact that my tribe has no idea what happened between us? Maybe I should go ask him how he feels about seeing you about to marry a human. What do you think, Edward?" Your tone is absurdly ironic but realistic. Just the fact that you're here now with Edward could jeopardize everything. If Sam or Jacob see you here with him talking about your past relationship, it could cause a mess. Not to mention that Cullen is now committed.
"I caused this in you. Maybe you should go to Carlisle for the same reason anyone in this town would. You've had an accident, Y/N, you need to take care of this." Edward says, gently touching the area where you got hurt. You let out a soft groan of pain and then pull away.
"How do you suggest I deal with the complications that going to Carlisle would bring me?" You ask, almost grumbling. Edward smiles slightly, as if he even misses these conversations you used to have when you were together.
"Do you remember the farthest spot from here where we used to meet when we were dating? Meet Carlisle there when you can. Unfortunately, Jacob is already on his way here, and I think it's better if I'm not here when he arrives." Edward speaks, and before you can say anything in response, he's already gone.
"Your cowardice is remarkable!" You shout, hoping he hears you. As you turn around, Black is behind you. He's clearly sweaty, must have come running in his human form.
"What happened to you, Y/N?" Jacob Black asks, quickly approaching you. He must be worried because you're injured and apparently talking to yourself in the middle of the road.
"I had an accident. I hit an animal, actually. It was quite a mess. How did you know I was here?" You ask curiously as Jacob gets closer to you, analyzing and sniffing you. You wonder if you smell bad, but then remember that Edward was here just a little while ago.
"Since when did you learn to lie to me? I thought we were honest with each other." Jacob says, looking into your eyes, and you feel guilty for lying to him.
"You want to have a relationship argument here? Then it was better not to have come at all. If you could excuse me." You say, walking past Jacob and heading towards your car, but he gently grabs your hand before you can open the car door.
"I missed you," Jacob says as he gently strokes your hand. You look at him and then walk towards him, embracing him.
"I missed you too, more than you can imagine. How about you drive what's left of my car to La Push, so we can have a better conversation?" You say, hugging him tighter, as if you didn't want to let go. It's strange, but seeing him safe made you feel better. After dreaming so many times about Jacob's death, it's good to see him like this.
"I'll drive your old tin can here. You can sit comfortably in the passenger seat. And don't worry, I'm sure there will be some bandages for you there." He says, kissing your cheek and opening the passenger door for you. You get into the car and watch him enter the car and take the wheel. He starts driving, and you slowly begin to close your eyes, hoping that now that you're in Forks, your nightmares won't come true.

Raging Storm
a/n: This was a really good request so I hope I did it justice. I always kinda thought Jasper had to have some trauma from his time with Maria (ew I literally hate even just typing her name) so I kinda leaned into that. I did my best with this but if it offends someone at all then please say something. Enjoy 🌌

Warnings: scars, brief mentions of trauma, heavy PTSD, very angsty turned comfort

I gasped as I heard a quiet tap on my window, my heart racing before I realized it was just Jasper. I shook my head, spinning around in my chair toward the southern boy silently sliding into my room. The first thing I noticed was Jasper’s shirt, his normally long sleeves were pulled up to his elbows. His pale skin shimmered against the fairy lights surrounding my room, the only thing casting a dim glow into my room.
“Hey darlin’,” He murmured, sitting on my bed and motioning for me to join him.
“You scared me,” I mumbled, glaring at him playfully. “I was trying to finish my history paper.”
He shook his head, smiling at me while I lowered myself onto his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer and holding me to make sure I didn’t fall. My head fell onto his shoulder, sighing quietly before I looked down to grab his hand. Immediately my eyes locked onto the marks littering his arms, sucking in a breath before Jasper yanked his arm away. Before I could even process what was happening Jasper had slid me off of him and stood across from me, looking down at his boots intently.
“Jas I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to… are you okay?” I blurted out, the words flying out of my mouth before I could stop them. I stood, trying to come closer but Jasper stepped back as soon as I did. My heart broke at the picture in front of me, I had never seen Jasper like this. He was silent as he stood there except for his heavy breathing, his sleeves pulled all the way down and his thoughts seemingly far away by the look in his eyes.
 All I wanted in that moment was to comfort him, to hold him in my arms and never let anyone or anything hurt him again. I knew a little about his past, just that he hadn’t had the best life before he found the Cullens. He hadn’t told me any more than that, and from the look in his eyes when he said it I decided it was best not to push him any further.
“Jasper? It’s okay baby just breathe, you’re okay” I murmured, my voice soft in an attempt to bring him back to the present. I know he doesn’t need to breathe but his quick breathing definitely wasn’t helping him calm down. His breaths stilled for a moment, almost as I could see his mind soaking in my words. His eyes slowly moved from the floor to my chest where the necklace he had gifted me sat, still not looking me in the eye.
“Just like that love, deep breaths,” I raised my hand, making sure to give him time to pull away if he wanted before I grabbed his and placed it on my chest, lightly squeezing to get his attention. “Just like this, in and out.”
After a second his eyes finally met mine, his muscles loosening more as he breathed with me. We stayed like that for a while, just breathing and doing my best to comfort him. Once he seemed to have calmed down enough I coaxed him onto my bed, propping myself against my pillows as he laid his head on my chest.
“We don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to. We can though, I’m always here if you need me.” I whispered, my fingers carding through his hair while my other hand ran along his back. I felt his arms tighten before he spoke, inhaling a shaky breath.
“It’s alright, you deserve to know.” He sighed, continuing on with his story. For the next hour I fought back tears as he told me what really happened to him, all the way from Maria to when Alice found him and brought him to the Cullens with her. My heart broke all over again as he rolled up his sleeves, showing me the scars riddling his skin again. I don’t understand how someone could make him do those things, how could someone put the caring boy in my arms through such horrible trauma. All I could do was hold him close and try to soothe the storm raging deep in his mind.

Rumination
Ruminate
(v.) to think deeply about something
After Edward left her, Bella Swan fell apart. Desperate to try and save his eldest daughter, Charlie brings his youngest daughter to Forks to see if she can bring her sister out of her depression.
Now, y/n must try to help her sister find her way back to the light while also trying to navigate her Junior year of high school in the odd town of Forks.
All rights reserved to their original publishers.
Now playing: Long Way From Home by The Lumineers
Chapter One: Forks, Washington
     Moving from Jacksonville, Florida, to the rainiest place in the continental U.S. wasn't an easy adjustment.
     Seeing your sister act like the walking dead was even more trying.
     All of it was because of that boy, who left her when things got hard. Mom only thought of "young love" and said "a little heartbreak builds character!"
     Phil thought Edward was an ass, but that Bella was being a little dramatic about her first heartbreak.
     Charlie and I shared a similar sentiment: Edward Cullen better not come back to Forks. If he does, I'll kill him.
     I'd get away with it, too. Charlie would shut down the investigation because he'd be glad the boy was gone and wouldn't hurt his daughter any more.
     I'd hurt him, especially but not limited to the fact that I wasn't quite sold about Bella falling down the stairs after she ran off. I don't think Edward pushed her, per se, but I don't think they told us the entire truth. Call it a gut feeling, or intuition, or whatever. I don't trust him or his family, aside from the good doctor. He's always seemed the most normal, from what I've heard.
---
     "Bella," I call, knocking on the door to her room. It was quit still, and I was waiting impatiently for her to answer. We had to go to school before we were late and got another day of detention.
     "Bella!" I shout, knocking on the door again. I hear some rustling and watch as the knob turns, only to find my sister with her pajamas on, her hair a mess, and looking like she had been through a hurricane.
     She blinked owlishly at me, almost like she was deciphering who I was.
     I sighed through my nose, trying to be sympathetic to her. I guided her to the bathroom and made her brush her teeth while I untangled her hair. In an attempt to keep it from getting ratty again, I braided it back tightly and wrapped put oils on the ends to try and keep it from frizzing up.
     "Sorry," she told me, staring blankly at the mirror. All the anger in my chest deflated, and for a second, I felt as hollowed out as she looked.
     Hollow, empty, devoid of soul.
     That's how she looked.
     Anger ignited in my chest again, but not at her. At her shitty ex-boyfriend who left her in the woods because he was a coward and couldn't break up with her properly.
     "Don't worry about it," I told Bella, "I'll get Charlie to write a note or something. I guess the driveway was extra icy this morning."
---
     The school day passed without much happening.
     Bella's friend Mike tried to get me to pass something on to her, but I couldn't hear what he said before Jessica pulled him away without a glance at me.
     I thought she was stuck up, but she wasn't a bad person.
     Lunch was subpar again, the cafeteria food being lukewarm at best and cold in the middle of the mashed potatoes.
     "I wonder if Charlie could threaten them into making the food better," I wondered aloud, poking at the food on my plate.
     Bella remained frozen in time, staring at the seat beside me as if she was waiting for someone to appear there.
     I sighed, shaking my head.
     I hummed to myself as I continued to poke and prod at my food u til the bell rang to get back to class.
---
     A few days pass.
     Nothing changes.
     Bella's still depressed and hardly living in the real world. She wakes up screaming from night terrors and Charlie's started to sleep in the couch so he doesn't have to get up from his bed anymore.
     I've started to develop insomnia, I think.
     I don't sleep until the early hours of the morning, since that's usually when Bella stays asleep, too.
     I'm awake from six thirty in the morning until two in the morning.
     My routine consists of waking up, getting dressed and ready for school, then getting Bella up and dressing her. It's about forty minutes allotted to each of us, and then an extra ten to get Bella's lunch ready and packed.
     I go to school with her, go about my monotonous but peaceful day, eat a silent lunch with my sister, finish my day, and go back home.
     When I'm home, I work on anything I didn't finish already. Sometimes I go in for work at the 24/7 diner at the corner of Wheatgrass and 74th, working the night shifts and getting home in time for Bella to stay asleep. I make my lunch from the food I got to take home from the Roy's Diner, I take a scalding hot shower, and I pass out for the four hours before I have to wake up again.
---
     Angela asked me how Bella was.
     She seemed like the only one that truly cared about my sister.
     Jessica was sour because she was ignored. Mike only wanted in her pants and was stringing Jessica along. And Eric was nice, but really only cared about the news paper and Angela.
     "Is she getting any better?" Angela asked me, sitting down beside me at the table I was reading at.
     "Not really." I replied, looking up at her for a minute. "Charlie's about to send her back to Jacksonville."
     "Oh," Angela said, looking sad at the news. "Is there anything I can do for her? I try to invite her out, but she never shows."
     I shrugged, "Not much to do. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make her drink."
     Angela nodded, her lips thinning for a moment before she got back up.
     She patted my shoulder before she left, and I immersed myself back into my reading.
---
     Working the night shift at Roy's was never boring. We got loads of interesting people here. Charlie called the diner "a drunk's dream." Sure, it was a little sleazy and a lot of greasy food, but it wasn't horrible to be in. If you ignored the obnoxious 70s disco decor.
     A duo of two men were sat in my section, both of them looking like hell.
     "Welcome to Roy's, I’m y/n. What can I get started for you?" I asked, my peppy customer service voice grating on my own nerves so late at night.
     They both had tanned skin in shades of bronze, and long, dark hair. One had it pulled up in braids down his back, the other's hair loose.
     "A Pepsi, please," the first man said, and he looked to the other boy, "Jared, what do you want?"
     Jared ordered a strawberry milkshake.
     "Be right back!" I told them, spinning on my heel and going to get their drinks.
     "How old do you think those guys in your section are?" Chelsea asked as I filled up the drinks. She was staring at the two I had just spoken to, and I shrugged.
     "Dunno, don't really care." I said, "They look grown enough, I guess."
     "Grown enough?" She parroted, laughing, "They all have to be at least twenty!"
      Again, I just shrugged.
     "Ugh, no fun." Chelsea said, rolling her eyes and disappearing into the back to go gossip with the cooks.
     "Here are those drinks," I said, setting them down before each of the boys. "Anything to eat?"
     "I want two number twos with lettuce, tomatoes, unions, and pickles, please, and a large fry." Jared told me, and I wrote it all down quickly. Two double patty burgers and a large fry was a lot to get down, but boys had large stomachs, I guess.
     Sam spoke next, ordering, "A number three with tomatoes and lettuce only, with a number four with everything and a large fry, please."
     Spicy chicken sandwich with everything on it and a pulled pork sandwich, I wrote, then said, "Be right back, then."
      I handled my other tables until the food was ready, and I had to ask Kass to help me carry it all. When I set the food down, in front of them, they both thanked me and started eating. I grabbed their cups to refill their drinks, and when I was back to the table, most of their food was already gone.
     "You two sure can put food away, wow," I said, setting the drinks down again. Jared had ordered another milkshake, and a water. Sam still got the Pepsi.
     Sam smiled, looking weary but better. Color had returned to his face, and his eyes looked brighter.
     "We're growing boys," Jared joked, and I smiled.
     When they left, after ordering a slice of pie, I got a nice tip and a doodled wolf on the check.
---
     Bella went out with Jessica to see a movie, I think. I wasn't paying a lot of attention when she said it, I had a mountain of homework from physics and not nearly enough time to do all of it.
     Charlie found Bella's wallet and told me to go give it to her, so I went to Port Angeles to find her.
     I saw Jessica first, and she was watching in mute horror as Bella spoke to some strange man on a motorcycle.
     "Bella!" I yelled, people glancing my way as I stormed up to her to snag her by her arm and drag her away.
     For a moment, she looked hopeful, like she was expecting to see someone else.
     "Oh my god, you're stupid!" I yelled, dragging her back to my car. "Do you not think about anything anymore? He could have kidnapped you! He could have done worse!"
     "I just-" she caught herself, flinching, "I thought I knew him."
     "Good lord," I said, swearing at her for her recklessness, "I thought Charlie would have told you about stranger danger, but I guess not! Maybe it's time for a refresh!"
     Jessica trailed behind us as I berated Bella and lectured her over the dangers of strangers and dark alleyways and motorcycles.
     I folded my sister into the passenger seat of my car, ordering Jessica in the back seat.
     "But, uh, what about Bella's car..?" Jessica asked, staring at me.
      "I'll get it tomorrow. I don't trust Bella not to do something else stupid with it now." I huffed, reaching over to buckle Bella's seatbelt and peeling out of the parking lot.
     I dropped Jessica home safely and pulled into the driveway, marching back inside.
     "Your daughter has lost all her sense!" I told Charlie, "Dad, you need to tell her about stranger danger again before she gets herself kidnapped!"
     "Y/n, now wait a minute-" he started, glancing at the door as my sister came stalking in behind me.
     "Bella, you wanna tell me what your sister is talking about?" Charlie asked, and I huffed as she just sighed.
     She explained and got a stern talking to, but I wasn't satisfied.
     I started going everywhere with her, after that.
     When we weren't in classes, I was attached to her hip. Hell, I even started sleeping in her room with her.
    She still kicks.
     But the nightmares become less frequent when we have sleepovers every night.
     I make her take care of herself by doing it for her, forcing her to brush her teeth and wash her face as I do her hair in the mornings and at night, packing a healthy lunch for her, and forcing her to keep up with her studies.
     It's exhausting, but it's better than staying up until I cant anymore, and it's slowly getting me my sister back.
     And then Jacob comes back into the picture
     He and Bella are fixing up some old bikes. I have no interest in them, so I sit with them and listen as they talk.
     Sometimes I draw some still life pictures of them, sitting together and working.
     Sometimes I sleep.
     Sometimes I do my homework like a good student.
     Slowly, I started to trust Jacob with my sister. I started picking up more daytime shifts at Roy's, and I started to relax.
     The nightmares still happen, but they've gone down to about twice a week now.
     Sometimes she only wakes up crying, others it's the screaming again.
     But progress is progress.
---
     "Y/n, I sat a group of three in your section. Booth in the far corner, babe." Makayla told me as I passed the host stand.
     "Thanks, Mak," I said, hurrying to drop off my drinks to some travelers before going to my new table.
     Ryan comes barreling my way to drop some food off, and I spin around him to avoid knocking into him and his tray of food. I get to the booth in the back, seeing some familiar faces.
     "Hey guys," I smile, recognizing two of my favorite customers, "I haven't seen you two in a minute, how've you been?"
     Sam, who I learned later from Charlie, had been the one to find Bella after she was dumped in the woods by Edward. I didn't care if he knew who I was or not, not really, because I knew who he was. I couldn't do much for him, but showing my gratitude for saving my sister through the Family and Friend's discount was enough for me.
     "So busy," Jared complains, pointing an accusing finger at Sam, "He's had me doing chores for days and makes me take more if I don't do my homework! He's like my mom now!"
     Sam rolls his eyes as I laugh, reaching out to flick Jared in the forehead. The two of them have been coming to
     "You're working with me, I'm responsible for you. So sad for you." Sam says dryly, and I shake my head at their antics.
     "Strawberry shake and Pepsi?" I ask them, my eyes tuning towards their new friend.
     He looks rough, almost like Bella did. His long hair is pulled back in a hastily done bun, and his eyes are sharp and attentive. He looks at me oddly, his brows slightly drawn together and his eyes squinting slightly.
     "What can I get for you?" I ask him, an odd feeling rising in my chest as I meet his eyes.
     He's quiet for a moment before he takes a deep breath and orders a water.
     I nod, taking down his drink order and turning towards the kitchen.
     "Ooh, your friends brought someone new!" Chelsea crooned, coming to drape her arms over my shoulders as she watches me fill up the two cups in my hands. I roll my eyes.
     "Chels, why are you always back here when you're supposed to be doing your work?" I ask, dragging her towards the milkshake machine as I fill up Jared's strawberry shake.
     "I'm doing my side work! I got cut early." She says, smacking her gum in my ear. I cringe, reaching back to push her face away from mine.
      "Love that for you, girl, but get your smacking away from my ears, please." I told her, hearing her laugh as I add a cherry to the milkshake and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. She walks off to go finish cutting her lemons and I put all three drinks on the tray to bring them out.
     I set down the drinks and milkshake, turning the tray under my arm as I pull out my note pad to take down their food order.
     "Number three, no unions, large fry, and a chicken sandwich, unions, tomatoes, lettuce, with a large fry." Jared rattles out, and I jot it down quickly. I turn to Sam and notice a distinct lack of his friend beside him.
     "Chicken tenders and a large fry, number two and a basket of onion rings, please," Sam says, adding, "Paul will have the same as me, but without the onion rings and with fried pickles instead."
     I nod, writing it all down.
     "You want me to put a slice of pie in and bring it out later?" I ask, seeing Jared nod enthusiastically.
     "That'd be great, y/n, thanks." I again nod at Sam's words, turning away and hustling to the kitchen to put in their order.
     I service my other tables while the boys' food is being made, bustling around my section. I'm keenly aware of eyes on me, but I figure it's just someone waiting to get my attention so I can give them a refill.
     When their food is ready, I bring it out to Sam and his group.
     I set each of the baskets down before each of the boys, picking up their cups and going to get them refills.
     They each eat quickly, and every time I pass their table, my skin prickles.
     I try to see if it's one of them that needs my attention, but each time I look over, they're all engrossed in their food, or a conversation. Any time I look over, they're in tense conversation. I try and keep my distance so I don't disturb them, but I make sure to keep attentive to their cups and plates.
     I sigh after a while, deciding that I must be making things up. No one seemed to be looking at me.
     They ate quickly and I ran them their check. I was left with a good tip and a smiley face on the paper of the check beside Sam's signature.
---
     When I was finally cut to go home, I took a long shower and collapsed in my bed. When my eyes closed, I saw a picture in my mind's eye.
     Dark eyes framed by thick lashes. My vision slowly panned out, and I saw dark eyebrows. There was a slight wrinkle between them, like the person was frowning. Slowly, my mind put together a strong nose, then high cheekbones, full lips, and a strong jaw. Finally, I saw long, dark hair framing this handsome face.
     Slowly, I put a name to the face I saw in my mind.
     Paul.
     Why I was seeing Sam and Jared's friend, I had no clue. There was no denying that he was attractive, though. His angular face and sharp eyes made him look uninviting, but his sullen demeanor was softened by his full, almost pouty lips and well kept hair. His lack of facial hair made him look younger compared to Jared, who's scruffy chin made him look closer to twenty than to seventeen. The long, silky hair on his head had been messily pulled back, yes, but it served to make him look almost boyish, also.
     I was pulled out of my thoughts when my door creaked open, and I peeled my eyes awake to see Bella standing in the doorway. Wordlessly, I pulled back the blankets around me and scooted over. She shut the door behind her and fell into my bed, sighing as I reaching out to pull the blanket over her shoulders.
     I fell asleep shortly after, Bella's breathing steady almost immediately.

Author's Note:
Hey guys!! This is my first fic ever! Please lmk what you think about it 🥰
Also, I plan to change some things about the story. I'm going on a mix of the books and movies, but I plan to change the timeline a little, change the logistics a bit, and make some of the characters a bit older because I don't like how literally everyone is like 16?? Anyway, I'll probably put out a chapter of all the stuff I change to get some feedback and stuff

"Let's run away together."
These were the words Jasper told you a few years ago. You met each other at school, you were sixteen, almost seventeen, and he was supposed to be eighteen. You arrived in the middle of the semester of senior year. Due to you amazing intellect, you were a year advanced and you found yourself in the same english literature class as him.
"Alright class, we have a new student joining us for the rest of the year." Mrs. Danvers told and you entered the class.
The sound of your heels click-clacked on the ground as you entered in the class, a low waisted blue jean along with a black off shoulder with pale pink furr at the top. Your hand bag in your right hand was made of pale pink furr to match your top and your school hand bag was around your left shoulder. You had a golden necklace with a heart locket, a bunch of golden bracelet around both wrists and very rosy cheek. Overall you guessed ut, you looked like the perfect mean, fake and plastic girl.
"Hi, I'm Y/n L/n/n I moved here from New York and I'm sixteen, almost seventeen." Your voice was sweet like honey and suddenly every boys of the class were drooling.
"Thank you miss. Y/n/n you can sit beside Longbottom." The teacher told and a red head boy quickly rose his hand to the annoyance of the rest of the class. The girls because you were competition, and the boys they were jealous.
As you reached your sit, you saw your new sitmate move the chair for you and you widened your eyes a little before letting out a soft giggle. At this sound every boys of the class awwed while the girls huffed as you sat down.
From the back of the class, Jasper heard his brother, Edward, scoff before rolling his eyes and the blond empath looked at you once again. He didn't knew why but he couldn't feel anything from you. He was curious, because he couldn't feel anything from you but you weren't numb either. It was as if you were feeling something but you weren't. Then Jasper realize that in fact you were feeling something, he was the one not feeling anything anymore. From the moment you stepped inside of the classroom, everyone else's emotions disappeared and only your calm state stayed. At the end of the class, Jasper wanted to greet you, only to be blocked by a bunch of boy running to carry your bag or propose you a bunch of snack and you disappeared between the hue of students.
The next time Jasper saw you it was at lunch. At first he didn't notice you, but when Bella's akwardness toward Mike and Carter's love sick feeling for Alice suddenly disappear, Jasper couldn't help but look up. And there you were, surrounded by a bunch of guys as they were holding your bag, trail of food or handing you some homeworks to copy.
"Please not the new girl." Jessica groaned and everyone at the table looked toward you.
"I had a class with her this morning. I heard that her father was the CEO of a car company that was moving here. She is so spoiled, in class she almost crying because Jane took her notebook and wouldn't give it back when she asked." Jessica started her daily gossip and Edward rolled his eyes.
"She can't fool just anyone with that smile." The mind reader huffed as you passed beside their table.
"Hey Y/n !" Mike grinned like a lost puppy and you looked up from your pink cell phone toward the sound.
"Oh hey, Micheal right ? In spanish ?" You tilted your head and Jasper suddenly felt like his dead heart skipped a bit.
"It's Mike actually... but it's fine ! Wanna sit with us ?" The boy grinned and you looked around the table.
Then there was a silence as you glanced at everyone, noticing their rather annoyed or uneasy expression on their face before that your e/c eyes met his golden eyes. It was as if the world stopped, you held your breath in aww as you looked at his golden lock and his sharp jawline. He had a pale skin, very pale, like three other people at the table but his looked the best of them all. His golden orbs were shining due to the light of the cantine and you couldn't help but want to press your pink glossed lips over his.
"Y/n ?" Mike called and you snapped out of your trance, looking back at him with an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry. But I don't think I'll sit here." You walked away and the group could here the boys bombarding you with invitation to lunch as you went to the back of the cantine.
"Shoot ! Man ! It's your weird hair that scared her !" Eric teased and the two boys started to bicker.
"She doesn't seem that bad...?" Angela hesitated and Carter passed his arm around Alice's shoulders who looked tense.
"I don't think we should be friend her." The petite vampire expressed and Jasper frowned.
"Why ?" He asked and Alice shared a glance at Edward before looking back at her untouched trail of food.
"Just because."

After this day Jasper would see you everywhere, in the corridor, the parking lot, in class, he even saw you in the forest a few time, by a lake that flowed close to the town. Yet even with Alice and Edward's warning he couldn't help but want to see you. Whenever you were around, he would feel at peace. So he started to chance his path at school, passing by your locker so you would be near by, waiting until you start to head inside to head in english, parking his car near yours every morning. He wanted to be beside you as much as possible but still respect your boundaries.
"Alright class ! Today we'll start a few group project about the book rode in class. You will be paired up by two and work on a presentation of one of the book we studied in class." Mrs. Danvers announced and you looked up from your pink fluffy notebook.
"Before anyone ask. I am making the group and I want no complaining." The teacher told and everyone groaned in annoyance.
"I said no complaining ! Alright now let's form the group." The brunette teacher announced and started to name a few people of the class.
You weren't expecting anything. You would go along with anyone. You just hoped that you wouldn't be paired with Edward Cullen or Jasper Hale, even if he was handsome, because strangely enough, their entire family and himself hated you for some reasons.
"Tonny and Mark." Mrs. Danvers told and Tonny, your sitmate, groaned.
"Sad we could have been together !" He told you and you sent him a half sad smile.
"That's unfortunate." You replied and he slouched on his chair.
"Y/n and Jasper." The teacher announced and you felt your blood run cold.
Turning around toward the said blond, you ignored the whine of the boys and your eyes locked with his for the second time since you moved here. You couldn't read him. You didn't knew if he felt happy or horrified that he was paired up with you. Yet you knew that it was definitly not going to well between the two of you. He hated you for whatever reason and your father hated boys in general.
At the end of the class, you went to your locker, followed by your usual among of boys and put your english stuff in your locker before seeing Jasper approching you from afar. You quickly told the four boys around you to go and fixed your high poney tail before that the godlike blond stops before you.
"Hey." Jasper greeted you and you sent him a shy smile with a tiny wave.
"Hey, Jasper right ?" You asked. It was a habit of yours, always checking if you had their name correctluy first.
"Right, and you're Y/n right ?" He asked back even if he knew it.
"Right, that's me." You let out a shy, uneasy laugh and the boy smiled softly.
"So for the english project, are we doing it at your house or mine ?" Jasper asked and you frowned slightly.
"Cloud we do it at yours ? My father isn't really happy when I bring someone home, especially when it's a boy you know." You looked and away and Jasper nodded.
"Right okay. So this afternoon at mine ?" He clarified and you nodded quickly.
"Yes ! This afternoon, at yours !" You confirmed with an excited shime in your eyes and Jasper chuckled.
You were cute. He could feel how excited you were. He didn't knew if it was because you wanted to work of if it was because you would get to see his house, or even if it was because you wanted to spend some time with him, but he hoped it was the later, because he couldn't wait to spend some time with you.
So for the rest of the afternoon he waited patiebtly for the end of class to arrive and once he finished his biology class, he quickly made his way to the parking lot, seeing you already waiting by your car.
"Hey !" You greeted and he smiled a little.
"Hey, ready to go ?" Jasper asked and you nodded closing your cell phone before putting it in your hand bag.
Luckily, today your father was the one to drop you off at school which mean you didn't need ton follow Jasper in your car but could simply ride with him to his house. On the way there, the two of you had a short discussion. You discovered that he had two more sibling as a plus of Edward, Carter and Alice and that they liked to go hiking on sun days. You learned that the loved to have game nights when everyone was at home and you couldn't help but smile at the way he was talking about his family with such a big smile on his face.
"What about you ? Anything to share ?" Jasper offered and you thought, your eyes drifting to the scenery around you.
"Well, my mother dies when I was seven, since then I live with my father. In contrary of what people could think, he's a very present father even if he's busy with work. Sometimes, when he comes home, we have a few dinner together and we always share a few joke. He loves to bake so whenever we can' we're baking together ! We also paint a lot together, whivh you saw me a bunch of time by the river painting the scenery." You grinned and Jasper's eyes widened.
"How do you know that I see you ?" The golden eyes boy questioned and you giggled.
"You're not very well hidden by the trees you know ?" You teased and if he could, Jasper would have blush in embarrassement.
"It's okay, you can join me next time Jaz." You giggled before realizing how you called him.
"I mean-"
"It's alright. You can call me that." Jasper cut your apologize and you mirrored his smile.
"Alright." You looked back at the road as a soft music was playing from the radio.
You couldn't wait to know him more.
Tumblr media
Then you and Jasper got closer. At first it was only a few shy 'hi' or tiny waves but after two weeks on working on your project together, Jasper would pick you up everyday, and bring you home everyday. At first your father didn't like it, but he came around eventually. After three weeks of hanging out together, Jasper told you that he was a vampire. He knew it was dangerous but when you squealed and told him how cool this was, the empath couldn't help but love you even more.
"You can't be serious ?" Edward glared and Jasper huffed.
"Yes I am, I don't see why Bella could have dinner with us but Y/n can't." The empath replied angrily.
"Come on, you should have told us sooner, Esme didn't cook enough for two ! And Alice already told you to not hang out with that girl ! She is dangerous !" The golden brunette scolded.
"We all know that Bella never eat everything Esme made and no Y/n is not ! No one of you even tried to befriend her ! And what did you even see to be so reculant into meeting her ?" Jasper glared toward his sister.
"Jasper don't talk to your sister like that !" Esme stepped in and the blond rolled his eyes.
He had enough. Everytime you would come to his house for the english project, his family would say rude comment regarding you. From the way you dress for Alice to your weak looking body from Emmett to your parfum from Rosalie, they were always criticizing you somehow and each time Jasper could feel how it upset you or made you sad. He had enough of it.
"What did Alice see for you all to be so rude with Y/n !? Even you are Esme when we know that you are the sweetest woman on walking on Earth !" Jasper pointed out and the rest of the family stayed silent. Even Bella was there and she looked incredibly uncomfortable.
Then Emmett moved to open the door, revealing your figure about to knock at the door. He boy shoot you a tiny glare and you sent him an uneasy smile with a hint of fear.
"How long have you been standing there ?" The bearlike vampire asked and you shifted nervously under his gaze.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to overheard anything but then I heard shouting and I didn't want to knock in the middle of an argument. I can leave if you-"
"Yes."
"No." Jasper glared at Rosalie, who rolled her eyes, before sitting and joining you at the entrance.
Looking at you, Jasper frowned a little as he notived how you weren't wearing your usual tight shirt with dentel and a vest but you had a fletter sleeve white t-shirt instead, your usual low waisted jean was replaced by a high waisted jean with large leg, your heels were replaced by a pair of sneakers and your usual high pony tail was down, letting your hair cover your neck as much as possible, blocking the slight ordor of the different fragrance you used tonight. Jasper noticed how you tried your best to hide the freckles on your face with some make as one time Bella made abad comment about them. He noticed how you changed your entire look just to please his family's taste and he hated it. He loved how you would always ask him to tie your hair for you, or how he would count your freckles when he was bored.
"You look different." He acknowledged and you smiled brightly, but he could see it was fake.
"Yeah ! I didn't want to wear my usual style today ! Trying something new you know. Do you like it ?" You asked hopefully and Jasper frowned slightly as he heard Edward's snicker in the living room.
"It's... unusual for sure ?" The blond vampire replied as he moved out of the way, inviting you in.
"I must say, this smells really good Mrs. Cullen." You tried to compliment as everyone sat around the dinning table.
"Surely it smells better than you." Rosalie muttered, but made it loud enough as you could hear it from your sit and your smile fell a little while Jasper glared.
During the dinner the mood was tense. You knew it was because of you and Jasper could feel your guilty from across the room as you slowly ate your food.
"So Y/n ?" You immediately rose your head and looked toward Carter curiously.
"Jasper told us your mother was dead when you were younger. It must have hurt." The bruney male pointed out and you let out an uneasy laugh while looking away.
"Yeah it was." You muttered.
"How did she die ?" Bella asked blantly and you held your breath a little, image of your mother's death replaying in your head.
"She hum... she died in a car accident." You tried your best to not stutter and Jasper looked at you with worry, all he wanted was to comfort you.
"How old were you again ?" Edward smirked slightly, keeping the topic on.
"I was seven." You lowered your head and they hummed.
"That's young, how can you be so okay with it ?" Alice asked and Jasper glared at his siblings.
"Guys, stop." He growled lowly.
"No no, we want to know how did she cope with it all." Rosalie gave you a sickening sweet smile and you felt your stomach fell inside of you.
"I... Well I guess it was with time. And I was young, I didn't knew my mom very well-"
"So you didn't felt a tiny bit sad ?"
"What ? Oh no I felt devastated-"
"Were you in the car accident too ?"
"Yeah I was-"
"But you're fine ? Don't you think it's a little unfair for your mother ?"
"Guys. Stop. That."
"I think-"
"Don't you wish it was you ?"
"You don't even have a scar."
"I fould feel guilty if I were you."
"That's kind of unsensitive if you don't."
"I'm sorry. My father want me home." You stood up quickly without even looking up, afraid to show them you tears stained face.
Quickly walking out of the three story mansion, you didn't see the grins on the Cullen kids' faces and Jasper's worried and alarmed expression as you stepped in your car;
"Y/n/n I'm so sorry, I didn't-"
"It's okay Jaz. I don't even know why I showed up when I knew that your family hated me." You wiped away a tear as Jasper stood by the window of your car.
"No no, none of this is your fault don't feel guilty please I should have known they were going to be like that. None of this is your fault they were just a bunch of asshole please don't cry darling." Jasper put one of his cold hand against your cheek and you grabbed his hand in yours leaning in his familiar touch.
"I'm sorry Jaz... For not being good enough for you or your family... I'm sorry I couldn't reach their expectation." You started your car and Jasper moved away with sad eyes.
"Please don't leave me darling." He whispered and you looked down at your lap before sending him a sad look.
"I'll see you later Jaz." You drove away and Jasper watched your car disappear between the trees of the forest, his hand slowly clenching into fist.
He was mad. He didn't understand why was his family so rude with you. They all accepted Bella when she forced herself on the family why could they not accept you even after how hard you tried to reach their standart, how hard you tried to understand their life style and always covering for them whenever a teacher would ask here they are when they hunt. Jasper hated how his family blantly hated you for no reasons at all when all you did was making him happier than he ever was.
"Why would you do that ?" Jasper whispered not even turning around to face his family.
"Jasper you have to understand-"
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT !?" It was the first time Jasper rose his voice and his eyes were dark, almost black.
"Jasper don't-"
"Please don't. You two did nothing while they are harassing Y/n questiong that clearly made her uncomfotable what is wrong with you all !? I was finally at peace !! I was finally truly happy, not because someone else felt happy but because I felt genuinly happy for once in my immortal life and you had to ruin it !? You had to be rude, you have to make her feel worthless !?" Jasper growled and his siblings and Bella frowned slightly.
"Why do you care so much anyways ?" Emmett crossed his arms on his chest.
"BECAUSE I LOVE HER !!" The empath reveale and everyone stood there in disbelief.
"I love her so much it fucking hurt to see her and feel her so demaged by the one who are supposed to support me forever. I don't understand why you would accept Bella when she pratically forced herself on our famil but can't accept the strongest and kindest girl walking on Earth. Why do you all hate Y/n so much ?" Jasper asked deseperatly but only got the silence as an answer causing him to scoff at his family before starting walk away.
"You all are unbelievable."
That night, Jasper showed up at your window to see you curved into a ball, soft whimper and sniffs audible from under your cover.
"Oh darling..." The words slipped from his lips and you looked out of your cover with glossy eyes, only killing his dead heart even more.
"I'm so sorry darling... I love you so much I'm so sorry..." Jasper whispered as he slided beside you and you immediately vurled inside of his arms, seeking for the warmth only he could give you even with a cold skin.
The both of you stayed in that position, for a while, him slowly caressing your hair and you sniffing from time to time as you listened to the silence inside his chest, calming your nerves. After a while, Jasper looked down at your figure debating if he should do his next move or not. But you needed to get away from them. Both of you.
"Let's run away together" His voice was calm and you looked up at him with red eyes from crying.
"But your family-"
"Won't do anything. I don't think I can trust them for a while after tonight." Jasper cut you and you frowned.
"Is it because of m-"
"Darling, nothing is your fault. We're going to pack your bag and tell you're dad what happened. He will understand." The vampire told you and you hesitated before nodding.
"But what about your family ?" You questioned silently.
"This is their fault. They will have to assume the result of their actions."
Tumblr media
So here you were six years later, barely twenty-three years old, cooking in the kitchen waiting for your husband to come back from his day at work. Yeah Jasper was working. He was actually working in the library near the town you decided to settle in. You worked too, you were a teacher for pre-schooler. Then you heard the bell ring at the door and your dog, Fanny, barked loudly causing you to frown.
"Fanny ! Don't growl !" You scolded as youi wiped your hand on your appron before opening the door.
There stood a girl, she looked like she was eleven or something, and she held a box of cookies in her hands with a smile. To be honest she kind you reminded you of someone but you didn't knew who.
"Hey, can I help you dearie ?" Your soft adult side came out and Fanny ran at your feet.
"Hello ! My name is Renesmee and I'm here on behalf of my family ! My four siblings, our two parents and I moved a couple of miles away and we wanted to invite you and your family for dinner. These are for you." The girl grinned while handind you the box of cookie and you sent her an apologetic smile.
"I'm so sorry, I'm already making dinner. Come on in thought." You invited and the golden brunette smile while stepping inside of the house after you.
The little looked around in aww as the vintage style was all around the house. On the wall there was a few painting, along with some pictures of your dog, yourself and Jasper all around and the smell of fresh bread greeted Renesmee as she sat down.
"It's very pretty here." She complimented and you smiled.
"Thank you, my husband and I settled here a few years back ourselves. You could invite your family for dinner thought. I always love to meet new people." You replied and Renesmee nodded gently.
"Come by in thirty minutes, everything should be ready by then." You added and the girl nodded before walking out of your house, escorted by Fanny who got a few scratches behind the ears as a reward before that the little waved see you later.
So now, thirty minutes later, you were placing seven more plates around your dinner table that you extanded. You texted Jasper to tell him about the unexpected guests so he could prepare and you smiled as the bell rang and Fanny ran to the door.
"Ay you big girl, out of the way." You shooed her away before opening the door, a bright smile plastered on your face as you saw seven people by your door. They all looked oddly familiar but you and your amazing memory couldn't remember from where you knew them.
"Hi, hello ! You must be our new neighbor. I'm Y/n L/n/n-Hale, please come on in." You moved out of the way, missing the glance the family shared between themselves before stepping walked in the dinning room and they all sat around the dinning table while you grabbed some hot plat with a kitchen glove.
"You're house is lovely." A wavy brunette woman complimented and you grinned, she looked around twenty-six to twenty-eight years old.
"Thank you, my husband and I designed it a few years back, he should probably be home soo-" Your reply was cut short when Jasper bargged inside of the house with a serious yet worried expression.
"Darling are you alright !? I've smell a couples of vampires around the house and-" Jasper cut himself when he noticed who was sitting around your dinner table while you froze in confusion.
"Jasper ?" The father of the family asked and you forwned slightly before that it cklicked inside of your head.
"Shit !" You swore under your breath as you finally recognized the people in your dinning room.
"What are you all doing here ?" Jasper growled slowly making his way to you.
"Jasper we weren't-"
"Why are you here ?" Jasper glared and you moved around the table to join his side.
"Jaz, honey, calm down alright ? They were not going to do anything." You bit the inside of your cheek as your husband leaned into your touch.
"If he is my uncle Jasper then are you the problematic mean girl ?" Renesmee asked and you turned to her in confusion.
"I'm sorry ?" You replied.
"Y/n was anything but problematic." The ex-soldier stepped in and Edward glared at him.
"She made you run away from us ! We're literally your family !" The golden brunet replied and you looked down, it was the same thing all over again.
"If you all weren't that awful with her I would have never proposed her to run away with me. You all were blantly rude and totally ignored her discomfort, you made her question her whole being from her personality to her way of dressing, I had to spent years, YEARS, to help her regain her confidence again do you know how helpless I felt ? Listening to the love of my life criyng herself to sleep without being able to make her feel better because it would have just creat her some fake happiness ? Do you know how I felt when no one of you even tried to befriend her while alml of you sacrified your life plenty of times for Bella while she was just human ?! You disregarded my feelings and thought only because you were selfish enough to think that I only belonged with you. You made me run away from you." Jasper revealed with venom as his eyes darkened and the room fell silent.
"Jasper we're so sorry..." Alice's voice was small as she took a step foward and you felt Jasper hold tighten around your waist.
"The day Y/n arrived at school I- I saw you both together. And you were happy. But the rest of us weren't. And then I saw you both running away and I thought- I thought that Y/n somehow turned you against us. I saw us fighting over her I thought- I thought that she would break us apart somehow and..." Alice trailed off and you frowned slightly at the realization.
"You didn't want to lose your best friend and brother..." You finished silently and everyone turned to you.
"I know how that feels." You chuckled bitterly before moving away from Jasper's hold.
"Jasper was the first person you ever considerated family, you both spent years together before finding the rest of your family. Even I could see the close bond between you two. Between you all." You smiled softly, disappearing in the kitchen before coming back with a letter.
"I understand why you did what you did. You could have probably be less harsh sure, but I understand. And I forgive you. Not because I know that Jasper would never forgive you if I don't but because I genuinly forgive you all." You put the letter on the table and everyone awwed at your kindness.
"We got your letter Rosalie. At first I didn't believe that you would be the first one apologizing, after all you were probably the scariest, but your words really had an effect on me." You told and the blond godess smiled.
She sent you this letter over four years ago, you didn't knew how the letter actually got delivered at your house but when you received this letter, you and Jasper just had marry and it was probably one of the best wedding gift ever.
After that everyone was now in the living room, catching up with each other. Jasper was still a little bit tense, his family understood why, but you didn't pay attention to it and continued to smile, offering them a cup of blood you had in your fridge in case Jasper had an emergency. You learned about Bella's pregnancy and the whole half-human, half-vampire baby war while the Cullens learned how Jasper made a lot of improvement being around humans.
"We're very sorry for the way we treated you before Y/n." Esme apologized one last time and you shrugged it off.
"Please forget it, the past is the past and we have plenty of years ahead of us." You joked and they all smiled.
"Are you planning on being turned by the way ?" Bella asked you and shook your head causing a few of them to rose their eyes.
"I'm waiting until I'm atleast 25 years old. I want to enjoy my youth as much as possible without passing like a weird girl being married to a twenty year old librarian. But until then I'm just fine while being human." You announced and the rest of the Cullen nodded in understanding while you poured Renesmee some apple juice in a tea cup.
"I still can't believe we thought you were bad..." Emmett muttered and they all shared an awkward laugh while you brusted in a fit of giggle.
"It's okay really. And it got me some times alone with Jaz for a while." You replied and your lover passed his arms around your waist, resting her chin on your shoulder.
Then a loud gasp was heard.
"ENGAGED OR MARRIED ALREADY ?" Alice rushed to your side, grabbing yours and Jasper's hand quickly and the rest of the family widened their eyes.
"Engaged. Y/n forced me to wait until all of us will get along again. She wanted my family to attend the wedding as much as hers." Jasper kissed you cheek and you chuckled leaning into his touch.
"Bless that girl, I hope you didn't expected to have you wedding without me." Alice playfully glared and everyone laughed.
If someone would have told you five years ago that you were getting along with Jasper's family you would have give them a big sad smile with an 'I wish' for answer. Now you couldn't wait for the awaiting future with your new family.

Song rec: a lot on ur plate, by Father
“O-oh this? hah, I uh-uhm, fell, haha, yeah, it was really embarrassing, to be honest.” You rub your arm bashfully, hoping he’ll drop it.
Fell.
On your eye?
Sure.
He smiles softly at you, offering silent consolation for whatever you do not wish to admit. Then he steps back and let’s you inside.
Once inside his eccentricly vaporwave home, he leads you to his game room. It’s fully decked out with two multi-monitored setups, and a humungous T.V. The cable management is immaculate-meaning: You don’t see a single one, it’s beautiful even if you aren’t really into this stuff, you can see the care and dedication he’s put into his hobby, just the same as the rest of his house.
“Wow Jasper! This is so cool!! Your place is really awesome! I don’t know if i’ve told you that yet, but i’m obsessed!” You motion towards the room to show off your point.
He glows sheepishly, he’s used to complements on his appearance sure, but on something so personal to him, and by you, of course he’s a little embarrassed. He’s so ecstatic too. “Thanks pretty~”
He starts setting up for a movie, handing you a box stack of thrillers and slashers to choose from, how cute, physical copies! You wonder if these are his faves, or if he just buys dvd’s for every movie he watches.
You pick one toward the middle, it’s old, like really old. Killer Clowns from Outer Space.
“A classic, truly ahead of its time.”
~
You’ve fallen asleep on Jasper’s couch somehow, even after the amount you’ve slept this past week.
You felt so calm near him, so safe and relaxed, you’re gonna feel so bad when you wake up, but for now, this is the best rest you’ve gotten in months.
You poor thing, you were all alone in that sunroom for that week, nobody even messaged you. You must’ve been so bored… And so lonely.
He moves some of your hair gently from your face, his lids heavy as he looks from your peaceful expression, straight to your lips. His slender hand slowly raises to meet your skin, his fingers caress your cheek, and flow down to your lips where he pauses to inspect you.
Your head is lolled uncomfortably to one side and you’re a little slouched, yet he gazes over you fondly.
Pale fingers lightly dance over your more sensitive flesh, as he leans closer to you. With eyes heavily lidded and mouth parted slightly he places his lips to yours.
Your lips purse slightly in your sleep, in reception, as if you’re (in his mind) giving him the green light to continue. His heart races wildly in his chest, like a clydesdale down a stone path, heavily and loud.
“So pretty~” it just slips right out of his throat.
You aren’t stirring much, so he gently, and begrudgingly lays you more comfortably next to him… if it was up to him you’d be in his lap, but he is already too excited for that. You’d wake up in horror, he’s sure.
His hands accidentally brush over your chest, and he stops to check on your face, to make sure you’re still asleep. You are.
He brings his palm back to the center of one of your breasts, and softly lays his hand over it, again checking you. His eyes are heavily lidded as he begins to massage and squeeze, upping the pressure little by little. Slowly he starts to press harder and uses his thumb to brush over your peaked nipple, he runs it over so many times by now your breathing shallower. Every flick of your bud has your body almost jumping in your slumber.
You mumble something, and startle Jasper, he stops, before switching to your other breast, making that feel just as hot as the first. Flicking over that sensitive nipple through the fabric of your top, he stops to pinch them both and watch you take much shallower, and needier breaths. His own breathing is becoming hard to keep quite as your growing excitement is evident to him.
Imagining how wet you must be already has him dizzy, and on his knees in front of you and the couch.
If he goes any further he’ll have to do something more drastic… He can feel it in him, the surmounting hunger making his head feel full of smoke ready to burst out.
“Fuck.” He fixes your top and pulls away to go find a blanket.
Just then, your phone dings eight a message from your husband. Jasper fishes around his own pocket for your clone and checks the message:
“Where the fuck are you Y/N”
Jasper’s eye twitches, as he reads and rereads the message over again.
“mmf… Jas-*Yaawwwn~*per?” You stretch and sit up behind him, he puts away the phone clone, and readjusts his pants in the same motion as he turns to you. His erection twitches with the way you said his name, rubbing painfully against the tightness of his jeans.
“Hey there, pretty~ how did you sleep?” His mind melts again when he sees you, forgetting all about your husband already.
You giggle and your face heats up hearing him call you that so naturally, and in his soothing, breathy voice. Not to mention, after such a hot dream…
You push the heels of your palms sheepishly into your eyes, pretending to wipe them but really just trying to hide the fact that you’re flustered by him. He watches closely with intense interest sparkling in his irises.
“Oh shit!” You exclaim, locking back into reality and you start to frantically look around the couch for your phone, which ended up under your cushy behind.
“You alright?” He asks, worried.
Your heart sinks at the message you’ve awoken to… How can your husband be so… Cruel?
“N-no… I don’t think I am…” Tears well in your eyes.
He shuffles closer getting on his knees before you, and cupping your face.
“Do you want me to fix it?” his voice is so serious it makes your heart thump nervously.
“I don’t know, Jasper…” You aren’t sure what he means. “I can fix it, i’m sure!” You shake your head with determination.
A gentle smile creeps across his face, you have to look away as your heart keeps thumping too hard and too loudly! And he’s just too handsome, does he know what he’s doing to you.
His hand remains cupping the air where your chin once was for a second longingly, before he lets it fall to the couch cushion.
“If you ever need me, just tell me.” He offers.
You nod your head once in understanding, even though you have no idea what he could possibly mean by him ‘fixing it’.
You collect your things and head home. Jasper follows you and walks you to the gate between your yards.
“See ya soon, pretty~”
You turn on your heel bashfully, fuck! why is he so hot and he just keeps calling you that…. Is it so wrong that you don’t ever want him to stop either…?
~
Your husband on the other hand, stands tall and looks in the doorway like a massive father waiting for his troublesome little girl to come home. you feel like a little girl before him too, one that’s broken a rule and about to be punished.
“If you hadn’t been in the sunroom sulking for a week i’d think you’ve cheated on me, stupid selfish bitch. Who was that, thing, at our yard gate?”
Anger boils in you but quickly simmers when you remember he already punched you once. “That’s just our neighbor, his name is Jasper.”
“You’re already buddy buddy with the local freak then. You’re to stop hanging around it effective immediately, Y/N.” Gods he sounds like a father too. Bile builds in your throat and you swallow hard to avoid gagging.
“Yes sir.” It just slipped out naturally, like his commanding tone just awakened your much younger self. You almost gag again, and hold your stomach and mouth.
He sees you practically turning green and gets angry with you, “What the fuck is your problem bitch?” He sets down his crystal glass of scotch, and cracks his left knuckles.
“No-nothing! sorry, i think i ate something bad earlier”
“Speaking of, you should stop eating for a while. You’re embarrassing me now,” He says it so easily, something so atrocious.
“Maybe i will then…” The words fall from your lips dejectedly.
The world is a deep blur as your feet carry you to the bedroom behind Edward. He shoves you in front of him, getting tired of dragging you by your soft arm. You look down at your wrist and see angry skin already forming blues, but you aren’t feeling any pain.
Are you that dissociated? You blink a few times, but you realize you’d rather stay zoned out, and climb into the cold bed.
~
Just curious,

The Cullen house was bathed in the soft, fading light of the setting sun, casting long, amber shadows that stretched across the polished wooden floors. It was a striking contrast to the usual vitality that filled the grand halls and spacious rooms, typically bustling with the presence of the vampire family. But on this particular evening, the house felt still and serene, as if time had momentarily paused.
With each step down the wooden stairs, you could feel the texture of the handrail beneath your fingertips. You ran your hand gently along its length, a small ritual to dispel the dust that had managed to settle on it in the absence of bustling activity. The house seemed to sigh in response, as if it too welcomed your presence in the calmness.
As you made your way through the dimly lit corridors, you reached the doorway of Carlisle's study. The soft glow of a desk lamp illuminated the room, casting a warm and inviting aura within. There, in the center of the study, sat Carlisle, his slender frame framed by the golden light.
Carlisle looked up from the book he had been leafing through. He welcomed you with a faint smile that didn't quite reach his eyes, but held the warmth of familiarity.
As you stood in the entrance of the room, bathed in the warm, inviting glow, your mind churned with thoughts that had plagued you for far too long. You couldn't help but contrast the serenity of this moment with the turmoil that had defined your past. In this peaceful space, it was easy to forget the chaos you once reveled in, the empire of dirt you had built brick by brick.
Your eyes met Carlisle's, his gaze always so kind and understanding, yet you couldn't escape the unease gnawing at your heart. You had come so far since those dark days of your past, but the shadows of your former self still clung to you like an unshakable curse. You'd worked hard to change, to become someone unrecognizable even to yourself, but the weight of your past sins still weighed heavily on your conscience.
As you gazed into Carlisle's warm eyes, you couldn't help but remember who you used to be. A master of deception, a manipulator of hearts, you had once reveled in the power you held over others. Lies had flowed from your lips like sweet poison, carefully crafted to serve your own desires. You had toyed with people's emotions, played with their feelings as if they were nothing more than pawns in your game.
The memories of your past self weighed on you like an anchor, threatening to drag you back into the abyss you had fought so hard to escape. You had come to Carlisle seeking redemption, seeking a chance to be better, but a gnawing fear lingered in the depths of your soul. What if you were incapable of truly loving someone? What if your capacity to hurt ran deeper than you dared to admit?
These doubts, these insecurities, they clawed at your heart, and you couldn't help but wonder if Carlisle would eventually become another casualty of your brokenness. In his presence, you felt a warmth you had never known before, a genuine kindness that seemed to radiate from his very being. It was a stark contrast to the false facades you had once worn so effortlessly, a reminder of the person you aspired to become.
“Y/N?” the sound of your name suddenly pierced the cocoon of your thoughts, snapping you back to the present. You blinked a few times, returning your focus to Carlisle, who had been regarding you all along with his gentle, unwavering gaze. “Is everything all right?” he inquired, genuine concern evident in his voice. A faint furrow appeared between his brows, underscoring the authenticity of his worry.
You quickly composed yourself, as if slipping into a familiar role. “Oh, yes,” you responded swiftly, putting on a mask of laughter. With a gentle smile, you began to make your way toward Carlisle's desk. “I just got lost in my thoughts,” you added, your tone light and carefree.
The last thing you wanted was for Carlisle to glimpse the chaos within you, to see the shards of your past self that still clung to your soul. The fear that he might stop caring about you if he knew who you used to be was a heavy burden to bear.
As you continued your charade of nonchalance, a wave of hypocrisy washed over you. It was absurd, really, that you, who had always been the one to leave others when you grew bored, now found yourself terrified of abandonment.
“What are you reading?” you asked, your voice casual and genuinely curious as you circled Carlisle's desk and stood behind him, placing your hands gently on his cold shoulders. You were truly interested in the lecture he had been engrossed in, hoping to engage him in conversation and keep him from delving too deeply into your own thoughts.
Carlisle looked up from the pages of the book, a warm smile gracing his lips. “Just some recent research on rare genetic disorders,” he replied, his voice tinged with enthusiasm. “It's fascinating how people's understanding of these conditions continues to evolve.”
You smiled in response to Carlisle's passion. His love for his work was one of the many things that drew you to him, a stark contrast to your past life where you had feigned interest for the sake of appearances.
“That does sound fascinating,” you said genuinely, your hands still resting lightly on his shoulders. “You always manage to make the things I don’t even understand intriguing," you laughed softly.
Carlisle's smile widened at your compliment, and he leaned back slightly in his chair, allowing your hands to linger on his shoulders. “Thank you,” he replied warmly.
A comfortable silence settled between you, the weight of unspoken words and fears still present but momentarily pushed aside by the connection you shared. There was this strange, unexplainable attraction to this man, an irresistible force that dragged you closer to him, just like when a magnet pulls things together.
After a moment, you broke the silence, your tone casual. “You know,” you began, “if you're not too busy, maybe we could go for a walk later. It’s already dark outside, but I think the weather is lovely, and it's been a while since we had some quality time together.”
Carlisle's eyes brightened at the suggestion, and he nodded eagerly. “That sounds like a wonderful idea,” he agreed. “I'd love to.”

The Cullens' Treasure
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: After befriending a new kid at your school, you soon realize your brother only focuses on his girlfriend and partying. you got fed up and decided to ask your new friends for help.
Part 2 of our coven mate
 Warning: threats, unwanted, physical, touch, mention of child endangerment
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The buzz of your alarm clock woke you up out of your deep slumber. You glanced over at the clock - 5:30. Here comes the rush of your morning. Get up, make breakfast, wake your brother, and wake the kids. Bathe them and get them dressed, make sure they have all their homework done. Then you're part of the morning. You'd usually just let them play while you take a shower, get dressed, do your hair, and double-check that you have everything you need for the day. Out the door at 7:00!
The kids got to school around 10 minutes before they needed to, but the staff there had a schedule with you and your brother. You could drop them off early and they could spend some time in the classroom doing their own thing. Today, you took a few minutes to encourage Sarah and Melanie. The two of them would be giving the new girl attending their school, the tour. Carter didn't really want to walk around with his sisters and a random girl though, so he would just be playing in one of the classrooms.
Your brother didn't accompany you while you were talking to your siblings. Currently, you and him were having a fight, but that wasn't going to stop you from being the best big sister you could as always. You gave your little siblings a kiss and went back to the Jeep.
"you know, it would be nice if you at least got out of the car and put yourself aside for your little siblings."
"Oh, shut it! I'm tired. Me and Olivia were up all night." You whipped your head towards your brother so fast you were sure you'd get whiplash.
Recently, all that had been talked about was your brother's girlfriend Olivia. You had nothing against her; she was a sweet, loving girl. However, your brother was skipping shifts while still begging you to clock in for him. You were basically working double time because of him.
On top of that, when you got home, you had to take care of two sick little girls and a cranky little boy who was trying to make sure his sisters were okay. Yet, your brother still had the audacity to complain about it.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm trying to take care of a family, while working, and making sure my little siblings are okay. Melanie has cancer, and Sarah's hydrocephalus doesn't exactly make everything all okay with her. We're lucky Carter doesn't have anything similar, or we wouldn't be able to pay for food, the rent, school, hospital bills. You don't care about any of that though, just Olivia!"
"Oh, I'm sorry, but I don't want to spend my entire life with my annoying sister and little siblings that, honestly, could just die for all I care."
The last thing you wanted to hear was your brother ranting about everything, especially bringing kids into it. These were your little siblings, the last trace you had of your parents, and the fact that he just wanted them to die hurt.
The rest of the car ride, you were quiet, crying out of your window, happy you decided not to put on makeup this morning, otherwise, this would be a whole other scene.
When the two of you pulled up to school, you grabbed your bag up from the floor and jumped out of the jeep, slamming the door behind you. The first person you saw that day was Olivia, running up to the car. She looked like she was going to give you a hug, but then second-guessed herself and went to your brother’s side of the car instead.
She probably noticed how upset you were and realized that it wasn't her place to comfort you, since the two of you hadn't always been on the best terms.
In your distress, you didn't notice the new fancy cars parked next to you, until now. As you stormed past, you could make out the people inside. The first car closest to you had a blonde with slightly wavy hair wearing a floral green top, a white scarf, and jeans. They were pretty pale, just like the guy on the passenger seat. You didn't give them more than a glance as you continued to walk across the parking lot.
When you got closer to the school building, you saw your two closest friends standing there - Chris and Crystal.
Crystal was the first to notice the tear stains on your cheeks. Chris was too oblivious, pulling you into a hug. It was exactly what you needed. After an argument with your brother, you knew they wouldn't ask any details or harp on it too long.
Although the company of your friends was comforting for you, it wasn't for the people sitting in their cars behind you -
Jasper and Bella, sitting in the parked cars behind you, had their eyes closed, just to make sure nothing happened once you went inside with your friends. As soon as you stepped inside, they opened their eyes again,
You were quiet as you watched your two best friends chatting while walking down the hallway. The tiredness was starting to slowly set in, but you weren't too worried about that. Even your teacher had made an agreement with you. As long as you got good grades, she would let you sleep in class. So, you tried to engage in the conversation as much as you could, even if it made you exhausted, as it usually did talking to the two idiots you called friends.
"No, I'm saying Natalie and her roommate disappeared." Natalie was one of the popular girls in school. You weren't friends with her or her roommate, but this was where the gossip would usually go.
"Maybe something happened to Natalie's roommate and she's just looking after them," you added to the conversation, providing your own speculation.
"No, no. Well, maybe, I guess no one knows. Did you guys hear? Sounds like we might be able to get out of a little bit of work in gym today. It sounds like we'll just be sparring and you know how the gym teacher is. He's so sexist - he won't let any of the girls participate," Crystal always hated gym class. Her excuse was she had really bad hand eye coordination.
"Uhhhhh." Chris was obviously not excited to fight one of his friends in front of a bunch of girls.
"Yup," Rose teased, throwing an arm around your waist, and pulling you into her. If Chris decided to hit her, this was always her ploy to use you as a human shield.
"Alright, alright. You idiot, let me go to class." Crystal walked away, heading for her Spanish class and telling Chris that she'd see him in gym.
You walked into your English class, saying hello to your teacher, and took a seat at your usual table. You didn't like sitting next to the window, so you took the seat right next to it. No one usually sat around you because well, you wouldn't be much help. You usually just fell asleep and as you did everyday, you put on your hood and put your head down in your arms.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everything for English went perfectly smooth, even with you sleeping through the entire class with your notebook under your arm. Jasper took down notes for you, periodically looking at the clock to look at your reflection. Bella sat behind you, staring at the clock for the majority of the class. if you had been awake, you would've thought she'd had enough of school already, or she just really wanted to see her partner. You'd seen Divine do it multiple times before, and it could only be assumed it was the same for Bella.
Next was Biology to, as usual, you sat by yourself. Usually, you'd pair up with some acquaintances that you had in that class, For this class, you were sitting next to one of the new students, Emmett.
Seeing him immediately brought you back to the parking lot, You just stared straight ahead, deep in thought, not taking in a word your teacher said, as you thought about what happened earlier that morning.
You scanned the room, and sure enough, you were able to recognize the girl who was sitting with Emmett in the car. She was pretty and had paper-white skin, something you hadn't noticed when you were walking past her. Maybe it was because your eyes were blurry with tears?
A small part of you was kind of worried, though. It wasn't even possible for some one to be that light. Maybe vitiligo, or a lack of sunlight? Or, maybe they just didn't go out a lot?
But before you could think too much on it, the professor started the lesson. Today, you were going over chemical bonds. It sounded complicated from what you could gather before you started to space out. In the corner of your eye, you noticed that Rosalie and Emmett had a close eye on you.
What did their proximity to you mean? You had no idea, but as you started to space out on the lesson, you couldn't help but pay more attention to the duo than anything else in the class.
"When you think of bonds, you may not think of ions, like most people you probably think of bonds between people - like-." After that, the professor started speaking again, although, just like earlier, you started to space out as soon as he did once again.
It seemed like he wasn't planning on giving a long spiel and was going to give you a paper or partner work regardless. Either way, you were pretty sure that spacing out wouldn't hurt that much. You'd already slept through English today, and you'd been fine.
You ended up resting your hand on the table as you began gazing into one of the walls. Sitting in the back middle of the class, it was pretty much far-fetched for the teacher to notice you and call you out. On top of that, the majority of teachers knew of your home arrangement and would give you much more leeway than the rest of your classmates.
Your hand on the table felt like something was slowly taking away some heat. It started at your pinky and a little bit of your wrist. When you glanced over to your new table-mate, you saw that he had his hand next to yours and was tapping the table.
What do you make of this? Do you just keep staring ahead? Or, do you try to get a better look at what he's doing and maybe even talk to him? Just as all these questions started to swirl around in your brain the teacher told all the students that they would be choosing partners.
As kids scattered around the classroom to find a partner, you noticed your table mate quickly look over at the girl from the parking lot. Their gaze was intense and it looked like they were whispering or mouthing something to each other. The motion was almost fluid, it was as if they were having a personal conversation of some sort. But, they weren't yelling or getting loud, and the situation was so tense that you had the impression that they were discussing something else... like, a secret! What was it about though?… As your table mate moved his hand, his arm flexed and muscles contracted, as if he was holding back from reaching out to you or trying to make some point or comfort himself. You couldn't quite tell what his motive was, but something was definitely on his mind...and it made you curious.
"Hey there!"
Nella was as sweet as her nickname and was not like any of the other students who treated new students like freaks at a circus. She had a natural gift for making friends anywhere she went.
"So I was wondering," Nella says. "But it's all up to you." She pauses, "I know you don't really like partnering up with people you're not really comfortable with, and I totally get that."
"But," she continues, "I was thinking, maybe one of us," she gestures to you and herself, "each could partner up with one of the new kids?"
You nod in agreement, as the group of remaining students breaks out into hushed chatter, discussing partnerships and strategies.
A small, nagging voice in the back of your mind was telling you this was a mistake, but it was too late now. Nella was already off to find the girl from the parking lot. It made you feel awful that that was all you really knew about her.
You turned to see your table mate, his eyes fixated on you. Everything in you told you that this was a bad decision and you were right. He asked the question you feared, only serving to confirm your suspicions.
"So we're partners?" his voice sounds off. Though you've never heard him speak before, something feels wrong. The way he spoke...it was weird.
Fear and worry took hold of you as he asked the question, afraid that you had made a mistake.
"No, this is all in my head," you tell yourself. "I'm being paranoid. There is nothing to worry about; I'm probably just on edge since I've been feeling so emotional all day."
Then, you hear your table mate ask you a question, which makes your heart start racing all over again.
"so what's your name? I don't think you've told me yet." His tone was so friendly, that you almost forgot what you were panicking about.
"Y/n, what's your name?" You're noticeably calmer now and are actually able to focus on your partner. You decide to ignore those intrusive thoughts and take a deep breath to remain in control.
"I'm Emmett," he says, "and your friend is partnered with Rosalie" he adds, as if that explains everything. The fact that he dropped that information without any sort of preamble makes you wonder if he was just making a casual observation or maybe he noticed you were kind of nervous up
As the class continued, you were mostly tuned out. However, you were surprised to realize that Emmett was doing most of the work. It was as if your table mate had a hidden talent for understanding this stuff that you just couldn't comprehend.
Rosalie also caught your attention; she frequently looked over at you, but it was never nerve-racking or intimidating. It felt...natural and normal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 In your Spanish class, you need to discussed something with Crystal. You anxiously rocked back-and-forth on your heels, waiting for her outside English classroom. You always walked together, and you needed someone to talk to about your feelings and how weird class was.
You also felt uncomfortable with the way the town perceived the new kids. They gave you bad vibes, and you just couldn't fully trust them.
Although Crystal wasn't the first one out of the classroom, a new girl was. You had never seen her around, so you suspected she was new to town.
When she spotted you, the new girl quickly stopped in her tracks. She bit her bottom lip and quickly continued walking.
Although you hadn't spoken a single word to the new girl, you could tell there was something else in her mind. It seemed like she wanted to approach you, but was hesitant to do so...
And before you knew it, Crystal was right in front of you with a small smile pulling at the corner of her lips, hoping you would indulge in the drama.
"She's a bit strange, isn't she?" Crystal whispers and pauses for a moment. "She goes by the name of Alice, and we are sitting next to each other."
With that, Crystal quickly moves on. Beginning to walk to Spanish class.
"Well, in every single one of my classes there's been a new student, and I was partnered with one of them. Alice seemed pretty okay, so maybe you should just give her a chance."
You paused, unsure of what to say next. You felt so anxious and stressed out by the whole situation, but you didn't want to sound like you were complaining or making excuses.
So instead, you decided to keep it quick and concise. "I've been a little stressed out lately and the new kids don't really help."
"God, it's your brother and Olivia again. I hate them," Crystal says in an annoyed tone. "I know they're in love or whatever, but she can't just throw away all the responsibilities he has."
She got really upset when it seemed like someone was screwing you over, especially with Olivia since the two of them hadn't gotten along too well. You, however, felt conflicted. You understood your brother's anger, but your siblings would be distraught if they heard what he had said.
You tried to keep your attention on Crystal, but you kept getting sucked back into your own thoughts. After getting thrown back into your thoughts for what felt like the hundredth time, a tap on your shoulder brought you back to reality. You looked over at Crystal, who now wore a bright red flush on her cheeks.
As you looked over, you saw a new student. He was a tall, buff guy, obviously Crystal's type. His teeth were sharp, and his hair looked greasy, like he'd been sweating.
"Excuse me, could you tell me where Spanish is?" he asked. His tone came across as a bit demanding and harsh. You didn't know what his problem was, but you were quick to jump as he seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
He quickly apologized for scaring you. He explained that he was in a rush, which was why his tone sounded a bit harsh. He was just kinda frazzled, since he didn't really know anyone in his new school.
In that moment, Crystal shot her shot and began trying to push you out of the conversation. She knew you were stressed, and she wanted to take control of the situation.
Jacob and Crystal continued their conversation as they walked to Spanish class together. Although his eyes occasionally gazed your way, you felt comfortable; it wasn't the same as everyone else looking at you with some weird thing in their eyes.
Jake was enjoying the conversation; he seemed comfortable and happy to talk. He reminded you of the time when your brother and you were on the same team and felt like the two of you could take on anything together.
Once you made it into the classroom, you moved to your seat. You typically went on autopilot at this point, distracted by your daydreams. But today, you were having just a little too much fun eavesdropping on Jake and Crystal's conversation
Slowly but surely, Crystal and Jake make their way to you. If Jake had been in a different Spanish class, you were positive Crystal would have followed him.
you decided it would be better if you stopped eavesdropping and simply let your eyes wander around the classroom. You were curious to see if your conspiracy theory about every single one of the new kids being in your classes was actually true...
And sure enough, one of the new students was Alice from before. Her eyes seemed to stare at you with a blank, empty expression. It was almost as if she was dead, like a zombie, waiting for the right moment to pounce. Before you could give it too much thought, you grabbed your pencil pouch and laid out a few of your favorite colors on your desk.
This class wasn't your favorite, and you typically stuck to monotone colors when taking notes. But this could be an exception, especially because Alice was sitting so close to you.
Jake and Crystal's conversation began to taper off as Jake continued to look down at his phone. His eyes occasionally lingered on you and Alice , but you were only getting most of this information from Crystal.
Since the lesson had already begun, you chose to pay attention to what Miss Glosson was teaching. Despite all your curiosity about the new students, you decided it was best to try and focus on studying instead of getting distracted.
As Crystal and Jake's conversation died off, Allison and Jake were now involved in their own stare down. Each of them waited for the other to make the first move, deciding between who would finally budge and move.
Edward had been sending everyone texts throughout the day detailing your thoughts. You had a really bad gut feeling and you felt like this whole situation was kind of freaking you out. However, the Cullens were known for their stubbornness and unwillingness to do what they didn't want to do, The hardest thing was that Jake didn't want to see the same thing happen to you as it did to Bella. You were anxious and had your own issues to deal with. You didn't need a clan of vampires desperate for your attention, especially not with their abilities.
The Cullens were stubborn, especially when they wanted something. This was going to turn out to be way more than Jake thought it would be.
At some point, Alice finally broke when she looked at you and then down at her phone. Jasper and Edward both texted her, presumably worried about your weird vibes and how odd they made you feel.
Jasper expressed concern over your emotions, saying they were "off."
Edward also weighed in, saying you were going through a lot. He mentioned your worries about your family, school, and also made a mention about the staring contest between Alice and Jacob, which was definitely not helping your stress levels. There was always a slight hint of mint whenever you were thinking about school, and your family, The flavor either varied between vibrant, cherry, or strawberry for positive thoughts, or sour for negative feelings.
When you were stressed in particular, it was a bland flavor. A taste that was salty and extremely stale, like everything just went away. An empty void of flavors. It was almost like eating food without salt or any seasoning. Like a stale bread crust, devoid of any flavor.
Alice couldn't believe what was happening. She couldn't believe Jake was staring at her like she had anything harmful in mind towards you. She was there to protect you, to cherish you, to do anything for you.
How dare he think she could do something to harm you?! It was crazy to even think she could do anything like that. That was just ridiculous and out of the question.
Jacob finally looked down at his phone. He almost snarled at the way the Cullens talked about you. They spoke about you as if you were already part of the family, like you had already accepted their offer.
The fact that Jasper talked so freely about your emotions made Jacob even more frustrated. Just because he could taste them, didn't mean he should discuss them so openly. Your home life was not just an open topic for the Cullens to talk about freely with each other.
As Alice suddenly stood up without asking permission, she nearly threw the door off the hinges while leaving. Jake, on the other hand, followed after her, not to comfort her, but to scold her for her outburst.
This whole ordeal confused both yourself and Crystal. You were both directly behind Alice and the door. When she threw the door open, it ended up scaring the hell out of you both.
As Alice left the classroom, she knew she scared you. Edward and Jasper had been texting her non-stop.
Jasper hated the new taste in your mind. It was overpowered with cinnamon and something sour, like a lemon. The tastes didn't blend well at all.
Upon seeing Jake follow her, you’d thought they'd be back-to-back arguing, but it appeared they weren't. Instead, the moment Alice was out of your vicinity, she took off running down the hallway, much faster than she should have.
Humans might not have been able to see a blur like Alice, but she was moving so quickly that she was just barely detectable. The hallway cameras were mostly for show, and Jake knew that Alice was headed towards the elementary school that was just nearby. When Alice was looking for something that reminded her of you, she opted for the elementary school.
It wasn't far , and the elementary school wasn't very big or important in itself. But it was a place that would remind Alice of you. well, your little siblings reminded Alice of you would be more correct
Once Alice arrived at the elementary school, she stopped outside of one of the windows and looked inside. She was able to see right into your sibling's classroom. Renesme was also inside the classroom.
Even though Renesme technically shouldn't be put into the school yet, the Cullens had found a way to make it happen. They knew that it would give them an excuse to see you just a little bit more. It also helped further cement Renesme's place in the family, which was a plus.
When Alice looked into the classroom, she saw Sarah and Melanie playing dolls with Renesme. Carter occasionally tried to insert himself into the game, either by slamming a dinosaur into the doll or sneaking in toy cars here and there.
Renesme was having a great time. She had never had the opportunity to play with kids who were the same age as her or looked the same age as her. Even though she wasn't taught everything she needed to be a part of human society, it still brought Alice great comfort watching Renesme enjoy herself.
Even though Renesme was a definite bonus, she wouldn't completely calm Alice down. If she was Bella, then seeing her kids and a small dose of you and your siblings' bone structure would have definitely calmed her down. However, since she wasn't Bella, Alice was thinking about requesting Jasper to come see her
Before Alice could do anything, Jake arrived. He walked all the way to the elementary school to follow her.
"You look like a total creep, standing in front of a school and peering in through the window," Jake said.
"If you're trying to be subtle, you're doing horrible, and Edward, standing outside the classroom? Seriously? Can she have any privacy?" Jake continued.
It's not our fault," Alice said defensively.
"It's only way for Edward to hear her thoughts. If he couldn't, then this process would be moving much more quickly."
Alice then continued, "If you don't like the speed we're moving now, then you definitely wouldn't like it if it was moving at the same speed that we're thinking..."
She explained that it wasn't their fault. Even though Alice understood Jake's thoughts, she still felt that the Cullens deserved more of a chance.
It's not my fault," Alice said. She defended her position once more. "It's the only way Edward can hear her thoughts."
"Edward got really crazy last time when he couldn't hear Bella's thoughts at all," she continued.
Alice also seemed bothered by Jake's constant input. "Why do you always have to insert your opinion into everything," she said.
Jake and Alice had retreated into the nearby woods. They had spotted a teacher watching them and saw Renesme looking at them out of the corner of her eye.
The fight had not ended, and in fact, there was no end in sight, as the two sides seemed pretty determined to stick to their own opinions.
~~~~~~~~~~~
As soon as gym class started, it was time for the boys to spar. Chris was paired up with Emmett for this, while all the girls were required to sit on the bleachers.
Bella and Rosalee was sitting behind you, while Crystal was right next to you. You had been leaning on her shoulder, curled up in a ball.
This was the first time in a few days where you just felt so tired. You wanted a break from life's craziness
Suddenly, you felt a cold hand over your forehead. You jerked back abruptly, as the person who touched you was concerned.
"Are you getting sick? You're burning up."
You quickly denied it, trying not to even think about the possibility. There was no way you could be sick right now, not with everything else going on. You had a doctor's appointment to get to in just 30 minutes. You just couldn't be sick.
"No, no, no."

Author note
So sorry this took so long because I had been lacking motivation, which has made life very hectic and difficult. I realize there's a lot more that I need to add, and this is already a lot to begin with. However, there will be another part. Rest assured it may just take a while

“I think me kissing you tells you enough about my feelings. And if you are still unsure just use your talent, cowboy.”
Jasper smiled at me with a mischievous grin. “You will never let go of that pet name, don’t you?” I tilted my head and put on an innocent look. “Would you rather have me call you major?”
His eyes darkened, a low growl in his chest. “Don’t do that.” He said letting go of me and rustling a few inches back. As soon as he left me, I felt empty. But keeping my play up I followed up: “Why is that, major.” Now putting a slight moan into his name.
“Y/N, stop.” His teeth were clenched.
“Tell me why, major.” I crawled towards him. “What does this name mean to you?”
“I think you know.”
“Show me. I want to see it.” Loosely I let my fingers wander over his tensed body. Everywhere I touched his skin he shivered.
“No. That’s too dangerous.” He whispered trying to contain himself.
“I trust you, Jasper. You wouldn’t hurt me.” I cued.
“Don’t do that. Just because I can kiss you, doesn’t mean I am safe for you.” His voice was at a drastic down spiral into a growl.
“Please, major.” I keened. A low rumble washed through his chest sending hot waves into my core. And by the way he looked at me, he felt it. His whole demeanor changed from careful to possessive and lustful. But being a Victorian gentleman, he still tried to remain faithful. “Y/N. This is not right. We shouldn’t…”
“Why not?” I asked positioning myself in his lap.
“We have just met.” His arguments went weaker with every second.
“If have slept with people I knew less.” My hands began to open the top button of his shirt. He didn’t stop me, so I kept on going, letting my fingers circle around his marble chest. A low snarl ripped through his teeth at my words.
“Do you not like that thought, major?” I teased.
“You are mine!” He roared standing up and pressing me against the next wall. Out of instinct I hooked my legs around his waist. I tilted my head and pressed my core down on his clothed member. “What was that, major? I didn’t quite understand.”
“You are mine! Nobody gets to touch you!” His hand wandered to my neck forcing me to look at him. “Say it, darlin. Tell me you are mine.”
“I am yours, Jasper. Make me yours, please. I need you.” I whined, desperate for some release. I could feel the tension rising and my core becoming more wet with every passing second.
Jasper had a possessing smile on his face. “You smell even more ravishing when you are aroused.”
I blushed at his words, trying to hide my face, but he had none of that. “Uh, uh. Don’t you dare become all shy now.” He started kissing my chin down to my neck. Opening the buttons of my blouse and pushing it over my shoulders.
Then again without me being able to comprehend his speed, I found myself laid down on the couch, Jasper hovering over me. His experienced fingers undid my bra pulling it and the blouse of my body. He didn’t pay any tribute to my bare breasts kissing me with hunger on his lips. Like it was coincidental his fingers caressed my nipple, bringing me to arch my back.
He let it slide over my stomach, kissing the path down his hands created. Looking for approval in my eyes he waited. His hands resting on the waistband of my skirt. “May I?” I couldn’t do anything more than nod. He pulled the skirt down leaving me bare in my panties. “God, you look so wonderful.” He said. Fingers stroking over my body caressing it, gripping it, like it was his lifeline.
With a soft touch his fingers nestled between my legs, barely touching me through the fabric. “Jasper, please…” My voice cracked at the end and I tried to push myself into his hands wanting more.
“Tell me what you want, darlin.” His head hovering inches over my core. Eyes not leaving mine.
“Touch me, Jasper. I want to feel you. I need… I need you to fuck me, major.”
“Oh god.” He moaned at my words. “Such a good girl begging for me.” His hands ripped my panties apart, not leaving me a second to comprehend, what he just did, before his lips were on my clit.
I jolted at the sensation only being held down by his firm grasp. Circling in sloppy eights his tongue lapped over my core. My hands found his hair, pulling on it. “Jasper!”
He hummed lowly, sending the vibrations directly into my body. Soon one finger followed his lips massaging my insides, slowly stretching me.
“More I need more, Jasper. Please…” I cried out, wanting him to fill me up right here. But he didn’t. At torturously slow speed he added another finger. “No, darlin. I need to prepare you, otherwise it will hurt.”
His fingers started to put more pressure on my upper inner walls, hitting my sweet spot. I felt myself tighten around him in response, letting out the breath I didn’t know I was holding a long time. Adjusting the speed of his tongue and his fingers he started a deathly arousing rhythm. My legs started to shake, as the fire in my core lit up brighter, than it ever has.
I knew I wasn’t going to last long if he kept this pace. But Jasper didn’t seem to mind at all. “Tell me, sugar. Has anyone touched you this good before?” He separated his lips from my clit, replacing it with his thumb. I couldn’t answer, head in the clouds.
“Darlin, answer me.” He cued kissing a trail of wet and cold kisses up my stomach, sucking a nipple into his mouth. I shook my head. “No!” I shouted. I felt him smile, tongue twisting and sucking on my nipple nearly too hard to be pleasurable. A moan fell from my lips and I tried to hold onto something.
“Good. Because you are mine now. I will make you forget every man you ever had. You belong to me, understand?” His possessive nature was breaking through his well kept gentleman attitude.
“Yes, major.” I babbled unable to concentrate my head on a logical train of thoughts. Him openly admitting the possession he felt, the dominance he distributed set me into an unknown headspace. I wanted to be his, be owned by him, be marked by him. Hot waves of lust washing over my body at the thought of him railing me without mercy pushed me to the edge of the cliff.
“Jasper!” I cried out. But I didn’t need to say anything. He already felt it coming.
“Its okay, darling. I got you. Cum for me.”
Without thinking twice, I let go. A hot coil snapping in my abdomen, bright light exploding behind my closed eyes. My body shivered, clenching down on his fingers, back rising from the ground.
“Good girl. Ride it out. Take it slow.” He reassured, massaging me through my orgasm.
When I opened my eyes, I saw him smiling down at me. With mischief in his eyes, he brought his fingers up to his lips taking them in his mouth. He moaned when he tasted me. “You taste so good, darlin.” Licking his fingers clean in the most pornographic way possible he crawled back kneeling between my legs.
Then he removed his shirt and opened his pants. Before he pulled them down, he looked at me. “You still want this? We can stop if it is too much for you.”
“Stop being such a gentleman. I want you to ruin me, major. Make me yours. And I swear to God, if you hold back on me, I will make sure you regret that!” I scolded him with a small smile plastered across my cheeks.
“At your orders, ma’am.” With a swift movement his pants and his boxers were gone, leaving me stunned at his size. I let out a quiet fuck, obviously he heard it, grinning down at me. “You sure you can take that?”
My eyes weren’t leaving his member. It was not oversized, but definitely on the bigger spectrum. A thick shaft, with a light pink tip, leaking precum. As an answer I spread my legs a bit wider, inviting him in.  He let himself sink down on me, holding him up with his arms. With slow movements he coated his cock with my juices, before he slid it in.
He took his time, giving me enough time to adjust to his size. And it was marvelous. The way he stretched my walls was heavenly. The friction nearly making my sensitive pussy come again.
“Fuck, you feel so good, darlin.” He cursed, once he bottomed me out. Waiting a few seconds before he started to move. My head fell back at the sensation. The fire in my core started to light up again, this time spreading all over my body.
His thrusts were gentle and deep, hands and lips wandering over my body, leaving traces of burning skin behind. But I wanted more. I wanted him to go harder, dipping into his dominant side. Me hands wandered to his hair. Pulling on it, forcing him to look at me. “Jasper. I need you to give me more, please.” I begged. “I want to feel, what it means to be yours. Take me harder. Mark me, show me you love me, please.”
A deep groan rumbled through his chest. “Y/N. I don’t know if I can stop if it is too much for you. Don’t make me do things I will regret.” His voice was strained as if he was trying to keep control over something.
“I can take it, Jasper. I trust you. Please.” The last word was nothing more, than a moan ringing through the room, as he hit my sweet spot at the perfect angle. This seemed to spur him on, because his thrust became harder. “God, darlin. You will be the death of me.” He cursed.
Taking my hands out of his hair he pinned them down above my head with one hand. The other placed around my neck forcing my head backwards, giving him free space to kiss. Like his thrusts his kisses were rougher. Sucking on my skin, biting down, careful not to break skin. I was sure he would leave hickeys, but I didn’t care. It felt far too good to think about the consequences of tomorrow.
He was now plowing into me like his life depended on it. Clearly testing out my limits, waiting for my response, for my rejection, but that never came. I was melted wax in his hands. Taking everything, he was giving to me, desperate for more. And he knew it. He felt the heat pooling between my legs, felt my body shivering under his touch, my walls clenching down on his cock.
Another orgasm was approaching at a fast pace, luring me into the abyss. I arched my back. “Jasper!” I cried out, letting the orgasm hit me with full force, making me a trembling mess underneath him. His lips on my ear he started to praise me: “Such a good little girl. Taking me so well. How does it feel to cum around my cock?”
I didn’t answer, caught up too much in my headspace. A soft slap on my cheeks pulled me back to reality. “Answer me, sugar.”
“Good. It feels so good, major. Please. Don’t stop.” I begged trying to free my hands, wanting to touch him. But his grip was firm keeping me in place.
“Do you want me to give you another one?” He teased slowing down in his pace.
“Yes!” I moaned. “Yes, I want to cum again. Please, let me.”
He hummed in pure arousal. “Are you so desperate for me, darlin? Tell me, how long has it been, since you felt so good?”
“Too long.” I answered, hooking my legs around him to get him to move faster.
As if he knew it, he started to pick up his pace again, attacking my neck again with his lips. “I want to fill that pretty pussy up, when you cum.” He whispered in my neck. “Can I do that?”
I arched my back, grinding my back to get more friction. “Yes, major. I want you to cum inside of me, please.”
I felt the edge coming towards me again. Jaspers free hand now between us, rubbing my clit. “Good girl. Don’t hold back. Let me hear you, when you cum.”
And at those words I fell. My orgasm hitting me hard and fast. I screamed his name, when washed over me. He let go of my hands steadying him on the wall behind me. My hands flew to his shoulders trying to hold on, nails piercing into his skin without any effect. My whole body was shaking and I gripped his cock tightly sending him over the edge too. With a loud roar I felt his dick spasm inside of my coating my walls with his seed.
He slowed his movements riding out both of our highs, before he pulled out. Looking at me with a sweet smile he said: “I think we need you to get cleaned up.”

THREE
The guilt of kissing Edward was eating away at you inside. You didn't know if you were feeling worse because of the kiss or because you enjoyed kissing him so much. The worst part was that you were starting to want to kiss him again. But that couldn't happen again. Not while he's dating someone else and you're staying at the house of his biggest enemy.
"You know your thoughts almost scream because they're so loud, right?" Billy Black comments as he walks through the door of his room. Well, his guest room. You realize you've been sitting on the bed, replaying every moment from last night. What could you have done to avoid feeling so burdened with guilt?
"Mr. Black, may I ask you a question?" You inquire as you snap back to reality. Billy Black was your father's best friend, which is why you grew up close to Jacob.
"No need for all that formality, Y/N. But go ahead and ask your question." Mr. Black enters the room, wheeling his wheelchair close to where you're sitting. You look at him, feeling a bit embarrassed about asking such a question.
"If you had made a mistake and your mind was punishing you with the heaviest burden of guilt, what would you do?" You ask, sounding quite dramatic, which makes him chuckle a bit.
"There are two ways to relieve the burden of guilt. The first, more complicated and less chosen: be honest and admit the mistake to everyone it may affect. Or you can take the other way: experience the guilt and let it go. Your father used to tell me that some mistakes are meant to live only in the deepest corners of our being. I hope I've helped." Mr. Black speaks calmly, as you find yourself thinking that perhaps this is a mistake you'd like to keep hidden in some corner of your being.
"You did help. I think I need to get some fresh air. If Jacob asks for me, tell him I'll be at the cliff." You say as you get up from the bed, and Mr. Black nods understandingly, acknowledging that you needed that time. The cliff was the place where all of you used to meet when you were younger. Jumping off it was your big adventure together. When you reach the top of the cliff, you feel the wind hitting your face strongly. It's liberating. You close your eyes, and for a moment, you feel nothing at all.
"Do you remember the last time we were here?" Edward appears behind you. You really didn't miss those surprise appearances of his.
"I remember a situation like this before. You showing up out of the blue and me trying to figure out what I've done to deserve the honor of having my private time invaded by Edward Cullen. But tell me, what do you want?" You speak almost harshly, clearly on the defensive, fearing a difficult conversation with Cullen. You don't even turn to look at Edward.
"If only back then I had left you alone. Maybe we wouldn't have broken up, and now we might be experiencing a different reality." Edward speaks as he approaches, and you can feel his presence getting closer to you.
"Stop with this talk. After what we did, reminiscing about the past is the last thing we should be doing. You should thank me for breaking up with you. You're in love with someone else. And you shouldn't even be here. There's more than one pack of wolves who jump off this cliff ready to take out any vampire." Looking into Edward's eyes as you say this makes everything more personal. Unfortunately, you can't help but worry about Cullen. Unfortunately, the kiss you shared proves that there are feelings between you.
"I want to talk about the kiss. You basically locked yourself in the Black house. I had to come here." Edward speaks as he approaches you, and you take a step back. Too much proximity might lead to repeating the mistake.
"I'll make it easy for you. The kiss meant nothing. We were foolish and let ourselves get carried away by silly sentimentality. We're not meant for each other. You're literally living your happily ever after. Overthinking that damn kiss will only hurt us. And hurt those around us." You say, feeling tears welling up in your eyes. Damn it, this conversation has barely begun and you already feel deeply affected by lying to Edward, especially because it's not true.
"It would be easier for me to move on if you told me why you broke up with me. Why you want to bury your feelings for me so deep in your heart that I hardly recognize the woman I fell in love with," Edward says, somewhat angrily, moving closer to you.
"My father found out about us the day before I broke up with you. I wanted to tell you, but he said he would kill every member of your family, that a war between the Cullens and the Quileutes would be on my hands. I feared for us. And for my tribe." As you explain to Edward something that remained unresolved between you, you feel like you're reopening a very painful wound by reliving the past.
"And you chose to be a coward and abandon me. Seems fair, a war doesn't seem fair when you can just end everything with the person you say you love and walk away," Edward responds, clearly hurt. As if he could judge you.
"First, I will not accept being called a coward for doing the right thing. Sure, I could have told you the truth years ago, but lying was the safest way to prevent you from doing something reckless. And I didn't just say I loved you, I actually loved you. I loved you so much that I can't let anyone find out we were together because any member of Sam's or Jacob's pack might believe you killed my parents. And I've done a very good job defending that none of you, Cullens, would ever do something like that." The words come out of your mouth more harshly than you intended. Edward looks perplexed, perhaps never realizing that if they found out about us, they would think he killed my parents to be with me. You know he didn't do it. But the others, they don't know him well enough.
"We could have faced this complicated situation together. Do you think I wouldn't have faced the accusations and the wolves' fury to have you by my side?" Edward's words, along with his closeness, almost made you wish you had never left.
"You're impulsive sometimes. We wouldn't have survived long together if we were responsible for the pain of the people we love. Not to mention that when you and I dated, I wasn't transforming. Maybe that's why I never felt it was wrong for us to be together, but now it's different." Your conversation has taken a deeply melancholic turn, something you didn't want. A relationship discussion is the last thing you planned when you came back to Forks.
"Whether you turn into a wolf or not wouldn't change how I feel about you. It never could. I thought you knew that." Your gaze meets Edward's. You always thought he would see you differently if you transformed into a wolf. Hearing him say otherwise makes you feel things you shouldn't. Feelings you should have abandoned a long time ago.
The rain starts to pour down on you both with force, as if the heavens are watching your argument from a front-row seat. You stare at Edward, trying to understand where discussing the past will lead you. Then, suddenly, your lips and Edward's meet. You don't notice who made the first move, who stepped towards the other first. You only feel the cold sensation of his lips on yours as you deepen the kiss. Your fingers grip Edward's hair tightly while his hands gently hold your waist. Then suddenly, Edward is pulled away from you. Jacob, in his wolf form, charges at him with all his strength. Edward's body falls near the edge of the cliff, which puts you on high alert. Seeing that Jacob is about to attack him again, you know what you have to do. Your body transforms into the wolf version as you run towards Jacob. Even though Edward was taken by surprise, he is recovering when you finish transforming fully into a wolf and attack Jacob. You don't want to hurt Jacob so you decide that instead of biting him or attacking him, you would push him to fall off the cliff with you. And that's what you do. You don't feel anything for a few seconds until the feeling of falling off the cliff is too sudden for you. You start to worry about Jacob when you can't find him. Still in your wolf form, you try to swim to see if you can identify Jacob. You smell him close to where he is and see that he is unconscious. You use your mouth to hold his wolf body until there is no more water.
"Jacob if you're listening to me, I'm sorry." You speak using telepathy. You don't even know if you're apologizing for pushing him off the cliff or for this part right now. You transform into a human again and like an instinct, Jacob's body seems to have realized that for you to provide first aid, it would be better for him to be in the human version as well. You give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation while trying to get him to stay awake. A few minutes later, Jacob wakes up, releasing some water from his mouth. He looks at you, for a few seconds seeming grateful for your help. Until we both notice that we are inappropriate. In the next second, the two transform into wolves again.
"I can explain." You speak telepathically, while Jacob remains silent. You've been following him to his house since you got out of the water. He must be too angry to speak to you, which is killing you inside. You never wanted to hurt him.
"At home." That's all Jacob responds telepathically. He must be really mad. Damn Edward for showing up then. You arrive at the Black house a few minutes later. Jacob heads straight for the shower while you look for something to wear. You shower right after him, both of you in complete silence.
"When were you planning on filling me in about your little affair with Edward Cullen?" Jacob's first words to you once you both finish getting dressed. You try to suppress the part of you that wants to lash out at Jacob for speaking so coldly to you, as if you're Edward's lover.
"To be honest, never. Though I understand why you're angry with me, I'd like to remind you that I'm a single woman. I admit my mistake in kissing a vampire committed to someone else, but none of this has anything to do with you." You speak, trying to be as cold as Jacob.
"Your father would die again if he knew you'd become the kind of person who gets involved with a vampire," Jacob says, looking into your eyes with a seriousness that honestly upsets you. He's aiming to hurt you, perhaps for what you did with him at the cliff.
"Is that what you want to talk about? Not the fact that I threw both of us off a cliff to stop you from hurting Edward? Or that I seem to favor him over you?" You also know how to hurt feelings, or at least that's what you want to demonstrate. But the truth is, you hate hurting Jacob.
"Do you love him?" Jacob asks after several minutes of silence. You move closer to him, sitting beside him. Gently, you place your hand on his face.
"I don't love him like I love you. What I had with Edward is in the past. What you saw was just two people confusing what's already gone with their current moment. Trust me," you say, leaning closer to Jacob. Part of you believes your words, but another part wonders if you're being completely honest.
"Next time you use your wolf form to attack me, I won't go easy on you. Just so you know," Jacob says playfully. You lean in, planting a soft, brief kiss on his lips.
"I'll be eagerly anticipating that moment. And know that I won't go easy on you either," you say, and Jacob smiles, kissing you in response. After the kiss, you hug him tightly, hoping that the concern about how Edward is doing after the cliff incident leaves your mind.

It was days like today that made me look forward to becoming a vampire, getting to spend eternity with Jasper. I let my mind wander as we walked, his cold fingers laced through mine as we wandered aimlessly through the thick forest of Forks. I was so lost in thought I didn’t realize we were at the border until I felt Jasper stop walking.
“You alright darlin’” Jasper smiled softly,
“Yeah, just thinking,” I mumbled, quickly picking up pace as I went on.“Do you think we’ll have a family of our own, like how Carlisle has you guys? I know we’re gonna build a house so we should at the very least get a dog. We can’t have human children but maybe we could have animals instead. Although we’ll have to wait until after I’m turned so I can get some control first, wait would I eat our children?”
I realized I was rambling when Jasper met my eyes, a fond smile on his lips as he laughed fondly. He pulled me down to sit by the water with him before answering.
“I don’t know about the rest but we’ll definitely have some kind of family,”He said, looking into the water as if he was seeing our future right there in front of him. “We’ll wait until you’re ready to get a dog, although having something else to focus on instead of the blood could help.”
We spent the next hour just sitting by the water talking about what our future would look like, we even picked out names for animals. Seeing him so happy to talk about things like that made me wish I could speed up time. Even if we were completely wrong about our future I knew I could be certain of one thing, I would spend forever loving Jasper.

I wake up blinking sleep from my eyes. I freeze my body, a cold heavy weight against my back. I relax as quickly as I panicked. I grin and roll over. “You stayed! I said you didn’t have to,” I greet the tall blonde who is taking up about 85% of my full size bed. “I said I wasn’t leaving you darlin,” His southern drawl is thick. God! He was a sleepless ageless vampire he should not have a morning voice let alone one that hot. “Still it’s nice of you.” I’m blushing heavily.
He chuckles deeply, pulling me into a gentle kiss. “I’m taking you somewhere, how fast can you be ready?” For him? Five seconds flat. “Hmm, thirty minutes if it’s casual and only if you stop me from switching outfits twice,” I tell him as we both know my indecisive nature. “Sounds like a deal sugar, your showers’ already running.” God he was perfect. “Thank you!” I give him a peck on the cheek before running off to take one of the most rushed showers known to man. I shave so quickly it’s a miracle I don’t skin myself.
I exit the steaming hot bathroom with my hair fixed, wrapped in a towel. Jasper had seen me looking much worse but I refused to walk out looking like a drowned rat. Strong stone cold arms wrap around my waist as I stand in front of my closet contemplating my outfit. He peppers kisses along my jawline before whispering oh so sweetly in my ear “You’re at the 45-minute mark, much longer and I'm dragging you out naked.” That's not the worst thing I can think of. “You pick then” I motion to the closet.
He picked very well, the green sundress fits perfectly. I climb in the car and Jasper hands me a warm butter croissant. I had learned not to question the magical vampire speed so I just accept the croissant happily. “Are you just not telling me where you’re taking me?” I question him between bites of buttery goodness. “You’ve got the right idea Darlin, don't worry your pretty little head about it.” He squeezes my thigh posessively to punctuate the sentence. To outsiders, it sounded patronizing but to me it was sweet. He was giving me the option to relax instead of overthink what was to come. Overthinking being something that I did often.
The scenery is picturesque as we drive out of forks usual rain into sunshine and fields. We approach rows and rows of trees. Jasper pulls off the road parking. I look at him quizzically. “You’ll see in a minute Sugar, you’ve just got to be patient.He reassures me, stepping out of the truck before walking to open my door and setting me down outside. He lifts me like I'm weightless. We walk hand in hand approaching the trees until I stop in my tracks gasping happily.
“Peaches!” I grin excitedly. “Took you long enough little one,” Jasper chuckles. “Jas peaches do not grow in Washington how-?” He grins “I knew a guy who knew a guy and here we are.” This beautiful gorgeous man had searched for Lord knows how long to find an orchard of my fruit. Most likely the only peach orchard in Washington. I tear up a bit and throw my arms around him. “Thanks, Jaz that's so sweet” He squeezes me tightly. “Anything for you babydoll”
I let go of his embrace and spin around in circles giggling madly. Jas produces baskets from the truck and carries me on his shoulders so I actually have a chance of reaching the fruit. I savor every moment. Each fuzzy peach smells more sweet and delicious than the last. He sets me down in the sun-speckled field. “Are you gonna try one?” I sort through the basket pulling out the ripest one. I sink my teeth into the sweet fruit the delicious flavor exploding on my tongue.
I groan happily as the sweet sticky juice dribbles down my chin onto my neck and chest. Jasper looks at me with an intensity that makes me blush. “Such a sweet messy lil thing” Those words do things to me I am not prepared for. He pulls me into a deep hungry kiss, his tongue demanding and receiving entrance to my mouth. I whimper softly as he takes the time to taste every inch of my mouth. He has me in his arms, my legs straddling his waist faster than I can process.
He presses my back against the bark of a tree but I hardly feel it as he claims my mouth. I can hardly breathe when he pulls away. He places soft yet hungry kisses along my neck that makes my sensitive skin sing with pleasure. I'm a goner, I feel my panties growing wet as he nibbles and sucks at my pulse point. “Jas,” I moan softly. “Good Girl, make those pretty noises for me darlin.” I'm a damned puddle; absolutely melted in more ways than one.
I gasp out loud as Jasper licks a bold stripe down my chest. He pushes the straps of my dress down slowly, leaving room for me to protest. I don't and he trails hickeys down my chest. I grip his hair tightly. “Jas! I-” “Shh Darlin I know, I can smell how wet you are, can almost taste ya, sweetheart.” He grins against my chest no doubt able to tell that turned me on even more. I mewl his name when his mouth wraps around my nipple teasing the sensitive spot suckling and swirling his tongue deliciously.
Jasper pays the other nipple the same attention sliding my dress the rest of the way down, leaving me in just my wet panties. He looks at me, his eyes dark and blown with lust. “So pretty, so sweet.” he purrs, kissing down my stomach. I’m squirming and panting with need. “Jas please!,” I beg. “Patience pretty girl soon you’ll be begging me to stop.” I shudder at the intention behind his words. He pulls down my panties revealing my glistening and swollen pussy. He lips a bold stripe down the length of my slit making me moan out loud. “Tastes so good babydoll,” He groans into my folds
I moan and whine as Jasper traces every inch of my cunt with his tongue before delving it inside me. “Oh-!” I cry out. He grips my thighs tightly pulling me closer working me up with every motion knotting my pleasure tighter and tighter. He traces his tongue around my clit and I shake violently. “Jas m’so close!” He grins against me and sucks my clit into his mouth, making me fall apart. I cum feeling like molten hot pleasure as he laps me up like the sweetest nectar.
“I try and squirm away as I grow more and more sensitive but he pulls me tight. “Not so fast Sugar we’re not done yet.” He growls, stretching me with his fingers,rubbing against my g-spot harshly. I moan and clench around his fingers feeling the pleasure spark and pulse throughout me. He presses his hand down, compressing my abdomen, making everything feel that much more intense. I wail as I feel something inside me snap and I squirt all over his hands. I gasp violently trying to catch my breath. Jasper leans over me grinning. “See pretty girl you just had to be patient.”

Sunrise - Chapter 2: The Struggle Begins (Part 1 of 3)
[Carlisle’s POV]
The door to the lecture hall closed behind Carlisle with a quiet click, but the sound echoed like a thunderclap in his mind. He forced himself to take a steadying breath, not that he needed to bu5 more from force of habit. Unfortunately, the air did little to calm the storm raging inside him. His hand, still gripping the door handle, tightened until he could feel the cold metal begin to bend beneath his fingers from his supernatural strength. Quickly, he released it, allowing his hand to fall to his side, though the tension did not ease.
*What is happening to me?*The question reverberated through his thoughts, but no answer came. He was a vampire—a creature who had spent centuries mastering the art of self-control, of suppressing the very instincts that now threatened to overwhelm him. And yet, the moment he laid eyes on her—Zuri, with her warm brown skin and deep, expressive eyes—he felt something within him crack.Her scent, her very presence, had struck him like a blow to the chest. Even now, standing alone in the lecture hall, the ghost of it lingered in his senses, calling to him, pulling at the darkest parts of his nature.He closed his eyes, trying to shut out the memory, but it was futile. All he could see was her—Zuri. Her voice, soft yet confident, the way her lips had curved when she spoke, the way her heart had raced when he met her gaze.
*Her blood…*
His eyes snapped open, and he bit down hard on the inside of his cheek, the pain a sharp reminder of what he was, of what he could never allow himself to become. He had thought, after all these years, that he had conquered his hunger, that he was beyond such primal urges. But now, confronted with this inexplicable reaction to Zuri, he felt as though he were teetering on the edge of a precipice.
*Blood singer.*
The term, whispered in the back of his mind, sent a shiver down his spine. It was a legend among his kind, a rare phenomenon where a human’s blood could call to a vampire so powerfully that it transcended all reason. He had heard stories, of course, but had never believed it until Edward. The young man was ready to kill or be killed for Bella. Never did Carlisle imagine he would experience it myself. And yet, there was no denying what he felt. His very soul was drawn to her in a way that defied logic, that threatened to undo everything he had built—everything he had become.He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. Now was not the time for this. He had a lecture to give, students to teach, and a reputation to uphold. But the thought of facing a room full of eager, inquisitive minds when all he could think about was the intoxicating scent of Zuri’s blood seemed an insurmountable task.Forcing himself to move, he walked to the front of the lecture hall, each step a deliberate effort to maintain control. The room was empty now, but soon it would be filled with students—bright, eager young minds who had come to learn from him, to absorb the knowledge he had spent centuries acquiring.He had a duty to them, to his profession, and he would not—could not—allow his personal struggles to interfere with that. But as he prepared his notes, setting up the projector and arranging the slides, his thoughts kept drifting back to her. He wondered where she was now, what she was thinking, if she had noticed the way he had looked at her—if she had felt it too, that strange connection that seemed to pulse between them like a living thing.The hunger gnawed at him, sharp and insistent, a reminder of what he truly was—a predator, forever on the hunt, forever yearning for that which he could never truly possess.And yet, he couldn't bring himself to regret meeting her. There was something about Zuri, something beyond the call of her blood, that intrigued him.But these thoughts were dangerous. Allowing himself to become attached, to entertain any kind of connection, would only lead to ruin—for both of them.The door to the lecture hall creaked open, and he looked up to see students beginning to filter in, their conversations hushed, their expressions eager. They took their seats, setting up their notebooks and laptops, glancing at him with a mix of curiosity and anticipation. Carlilse straightened, smoothing his expression into one of calm professionalism. He had done this a thousand times before; he could do it again. He just needed to focus on the task at hand, to bury the hunger, the desire, deep within him where it couldn't reach the surface.As the last student settled into their seat, he cleared his throat, forcing a smile that he hoped seemed genuine.
"Good afternoon, everyone," Carlisle began, his voice steady despite the turmoil inside. "Today, we will be discussing the mechanisms of cellular regeneration and the potential implications for modern medicine…"
And so, the lecture began. But even as he spoke, guiding the students through complex biological processes, Carlisle's thoughts kept drifting back to Zuri, to the strange, undeniable pull he felt toward her.He could only hope that he would find the strength to resist it. For both of their sakes. He didn't want to start another war like Bella and Edward.
