I did a water change today and have poor lil ferg all sorts of confused because his floating grass bed moved like an inch and a half over so when he went to try and take his usual path up for air he swam straight into the grass and couldn't figure out whether to retreat or if he could swim through

he made it but he's now off camera just staring at the grass like he can believe it. poor fergus. I'd pay out of pocket for your little fishy cataract surgery but alas I can't.

also can we talk about the amount of hair growing on this one singular ball.

I got rejected from a job yet again!!!! And they strung me along too!!! Twice in a row!!! After I gave them the benefit of the doubt bc they seemed like nice people!!!!

Anyways fuck them, I'm starting a fucking shrimp aquarium because money isn't real and I need something to bring me happiness.

got the wood in!! wonder how long it'll take to sink lol. I'm hoping to attach plants all along it- the body of the branch is shaped like a nike swoosh and all those little skinny branches will poke up out of the water, so I can grow not-fully-immersed plants as well!!

Idk if this is the same kind of hair algae as marimo moss but i kept it because it definitely Looked similar. I don’t have the right flow for them to roll up like real marimo but my shrimp and corys spend all day moving them around and they are very very slowly turning into balls………my naturally occurring marimo moss balls……

bruh im only using easy green fertilizer for the rest of my life my red dwarf lilies have such massive and vibrant pads now. they even have the "serrated" leaf edge shapes i wasn't able to get before.
