Canopy

Released: Jun. 30, 2022 Type: Prop Game: OMORI

I spy with my little eye... A rainbow umbrella thing with lots of legs! This is one of the many wonderfully wacky side characters from the world of Headspace. Canopy is first seen in the Vast Forest, waiting for the train to Orange Oasis. It doesn't do much besides stand around and look at things.

I like a lot of the character designs in OMORI, but most of them work best as 2D doodles. Canopy only has a very few sprites, so it's difficult to tell how many legs it is supposd to have. The sprite seems to show four legs, but that doesn't seem like "lots of legs", which is why I made a version with eight instead.

Omor headcannons?

Omg so sorry for answering this late! Life’s been really busy, so I haven’t had time, but! I’m on break now!!!! Which means I get to share my silly headcanons regarding el omor! Here we go!

Omori won’t leave White Space until Sunny comes back. He wants to check on him before they go on adventures. Not that he really minds staying in White Space anyway. As “fun” as the adventures with his friends are, he’d much rather spend time with someone real.

I’ve said this in my rp blog, but he likes jellyfishes and raccoons! He identifies with these animals in a personal level and thinks are rather similar to him in some ways. I’ve talked with @mikkokomori about it a lot after they went insane over the jellyfish symbolism and how it fits Omori.

He can sleep but doesn’t do it. What’s the fun of dreaming about nothing only to wake up in the middle of said nothing? While Sunny creates, Omori can’t. So he only sleeps when he’s just… really bored and wants time to pass faster.

He has the biggest sweet tooth ever. I will not elaborate.

He has a lot of cat mannerisms. These go from doing those kitten stretches, to biting to show affection, to occasionally chirping or purring. Why? Because I said so.

He acts rather childish around Sunny to get more affection. In truth, he’s a lot more mature, but he can’t help but want Sunny’s attention when he’s present in Headspace as himself and not as part of Omori.

As much as he hates to admit it, he does care for Stranger to some degree, but he’d rather die before saying it. He has a bit of a soft spot for him, seeing as he’s the only other “real” person in all of Headspace (excluding Sunny and Spirit Mari). Which leads me to…..

He’s really wary around Spirit Mari! I personally don’t think she’d hold a grudge or hate Omori (I mean he IS his brother as a younger self) but he would be cautious around her either way.

Lets see i should probably start with my identity in more detail we already know my name and pronouns, my birthday is 11th of june and my gender/sexualitys are Non-binary, Omnisexual, Aroace, Polyamorous, Quiosexual/romantic and Platonisexual/romantic, i know its a hand full, Im an agere/petre and also in questioning of being an therian/otherkin specifically in the range of raccoon/jellyfish/cat/glaceon, I most definitely have social anxiety and probably undiagnosed autism, I find that i lack the understanding of emotions specifically sympathy and empathy, and depending on how bored i am depends on how mean i get, not to mention i have dead humour that nobody rlly gets, and yes i do also practice witchcraft and im an omnist, i also believe in spirituality, ghosts and some cryptids, and i dont rlly have a set aesthetic i like them all.
