Oh, it's already that time of the year.

Hello, there!

Yeah, it's been a while since I posted something, but the thing is, I was just crawling out of the shitty pit I'm in when very suddenly my father fell seriously ill. Now I'm once again spiralling into my anxious pit.

But I'm a bit cheered up by the spooky season (even tho we don't have those around here). So, I decided to share some playlists, (a couple of creepy characters playlists and MORE), I've collected over the years and I hope they make your spooky season a bit more spooky.

Well, let's get started!

First of all, we have the playlist I made for my darling Jerry Dandridge, I shared it a while ago, but tbh it's one of my all-time favourites. It has the vibes of the film and fits the vibes of the character, I just love it.

I'm still mad that Spotify doesn't have the Fright Night music theme by 'the J. geils band' nor the INCREDIBLE theme 'come to me' (both the singing and instrumental version) by brad fiedel. So if I had to say something is missing in this one, I would say these three songs.

Now, this man has taken over my life for almost THREE WHOLE YEARS, and I gotta thank Mike Flanagan for this. I know you already know of whom I'm talking about. Our beloved poor lil meow meow and vampire priest Father Paul.

He lives in my head rent-free ever since he screamed “HOW DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL?!” into Riley's face. I honestly think I could fix him, or at least fuck him ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The next is a trash can of a man and has made me question my sanity and my moral compass, and I think that's full Hamish acting skills fault. Well, our favourite unhinged wolf man, John Tyler.

You know, I had two stalkers during my school years, and I think that definitely affected me, anyway I like to believe it's the look of those puppy eyes that had me.

Talking about stalking psychopaths, I think I have a historic, bc David Dastmachian's performance as MacGyver nemesis on the remake of the series changed me on a molecular level. That's right, I'm talking about everybody's favourite hitman, Murdoc!

Yeah, that leather trench coat and black high neck has me on my knees. Also, unironically, mama bear Murdoc it's actually very sexy.

Now my dearest, we get to the new stuff, this I haven't posted yet for some unknown reason, but it's time to let them see the moonlight!

Ngl, Lily Rabe has so may Iconic roles on AHS that I HAD to make her something. So, to my AHS lovers, we have a playlist full of eerie and sacrilegious songs to our favourite possessed nun!

Nobody can convince me that AHS: Asylum isn't the best season from the series, honestly, I always re-watch during the spooky season and always slays.

I'm a fan of themed/pov playlists, I find them very immersive, so I'm always doing them when I have the chance, so, in one of these opportunities, I did a 80s slasher pov playlist, that has such a cool vibe! I hope you guys feel the same!

This one is dedicated to the nostalgia boost that the 80s slashers are to me.

And for the last, but not leat, my Ultimate Halloween Playlist™, it has some of my favourite songs from each one of those playlists, and I'm always adding more. Which are your ultimate spooky season playlist? I'll love to know!

The Center for Jewish History in New York City announced this week a new exhibition opening in the fall that will showcase the history of Jewish comics, graphics, and pop culture.

The exhibit, titled “The Museum and Laboratory of the Jewish Comics Experience,” will feature original artworks by acclaimed Jewish comic writers and artists, historical artifacts, and interactive installations “celebrating the rich tapestry of Jewish narratives depicted through the lens of comics and graphic storytelling,” according to a description on its website. It is being organized in partnership with JewCE: The Jewish Comics Experience, a Jewish comic book convention that will take place in November.

The artifacts that will be on display include original Captain America artwork by co-creator Joe Simon, the rare 1933 Reign of the Superman story by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, and the comics of Holocaust survivor Lily Renée, who was one of the first women to make a mark in the comic book industry.

Visitors will learn about the development of Jewish themes and representation in comics and other art forms — from classic newspaper comic strips to contemporary graphic novels. The exhibit will have two parts, starting with a museum that dives deep into the Jewish origins of the comic book industry and how Jewish comic book creators responded to fascism in their works.

The second part of the exhibit is a laboratory that will enable visitors to participate in activities that will teach them about the creative process behind graphic storytelling, such as character creation, storyboarding, and iconography. The laboratory will additionally have a separate area where visitors can dress up like superheroes, take part in imaginative cosplay, and pose for pictures.

“The Museum and Laboratory of the Jewish Comics Experience” will open on Oct. 6 and run through December.

Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! It's time for the Starkid dreamcast of Jerry Springer the Opera. Probably the strangest show that I've ever seen, there was a lot to cover for this one. Perhaps it's not everybody's taste (I don't even know if it's mine and I watched it twice) but I hope you enjoy this weird, bizarre, and surprisingly spooky dreamcast.

apollo and roscoe used to be best buds. they got along with each other the best out of all our cats and would spend a lot of time cuddling with each other. after roscoe passed, apollo and lily started hanging out with each other a lot more and started getting along much better than they used to. apollo also started hanging out with jerry more and they got along with each other better too.

now that lily has passed, apollo only has jerry as another cat to hang out with. jerry was a year or two older than lily was, and jerry looked his age more than lily looked hers. im worried that jerry himself doesnt have much time left, and that hes going to be passing soon as well. i always thought that jerry would end up going first and that lily was going to outlive him. i thought that jerry was going to pass before lily would, given that he was older and showed more of his age. im worried that apollo wont have any other cat to cuddle with soon.

when roscoe was still here, he would often compulsively groom his fur and would often give himself hot spots and bald patches. ever since roscoe passed, apollo himself hasnt been in the best shape. hes been giving himself the same hot spots and bald patches that roscoe would get and has a cauliflower ear that still hasnt gone away yet. apollo still acts the same as always, but im worried that his health is going to end up deteriorating the same way that roscoe's did.

Week 21.95/52: May 23rd - May 29th 2022 | Last Day with Jerry! 🌙

Had to work from 12 to 3:30pm on this day to do convocation set ups. Setting up is always fun but I would obviously prefer going out with Jerry lol. Poor man had to kill time in Chinook mall while I was working... actually tragic. After work, I went home and met up with Jerry again and we went straight to Jjamppong for dinner because I did not eat all day despite eating 10 meals during the past 48 hours.

We ordered tangsyuk and half/half black bean noodles and spicy seafood noodles. I really liked their noodles!!!! The pork was okay but I still like the one in YVR better hahahahaah. Still yum regardless. We ended off our weekend with bubble tea again from The Moon LOL. I finally got their melon grinch drink and it was so delicious. Once again, super delicious toppings!!!! And that's a wrap on our 3rd food adventures trip! Thanks Jerry for coming as always. Always the best time hehehhe 🥳🥳🥳

the front lawn of graceland was covered in white, the falling snowflakes only adding onto it. jerry was standing at the window, mug in his hand as he watched the snow fall and the rest of the memphis mafia run around outside. "why aren't you outside with the rest of 'em?" he asked, taking a sip from his mug.

elvis shrugged, moving from the piano to the couch, falling back with a soft grunt. "the snow'll still be there tomorrow." he picked up a book from the table in front of him, opening it and getting comfortable to go back to his reading. jerry hummed and walked over to elvis, setting his mug on a coaster. he joined him on the couch and and glanced at his book.

"what are you doin', jer?" elvis raised an eyebrow as jerry scooted closer to him, still trying to keep his focus on the book in front of him. he wrapped his arm under elvis's and rested a head on his shoulder. "you don't know nothin' about person space." elvis joked, shaking his head slightly. jerry burried his head in his neck, enjoying the comfort from the other man.

"i like bein' close to you. you're warm." he mumbled against his skin. elvis closed his book and set it down beside him, glancing over at jerry. he wrapped an arm around him, bringing him closer and squeezing his arm. "plenty more warmth where that came from."
