The Last Broadcast

It started subtly. A flicker in the periphery, a misplaced shadow that vanished when you stared directly at it. Then came the sounds. Faint whispers riding the static between radio stations, just on the edge of comprehension. I’m a ham radio operator; I spend much time listening to static. I initially dismissed it as solar flares, atmospheric anomalies – anything but what it felt like: something else. But the whispers grew clearer, coalesced into fragmented phrases. "Cold… so cold…" "Lost… can't find the way…" "Help… before it's too late…"I started logging the occurrences, noting frequencies, times, and signal strength. The pattern was undeniable. The whispers were strongest around 3 AM, always on the same frequencies, always with the same desperate pleas. I posted about it on r/no sleep, figuring someone might have a rational explanation. "Probably just interference," one user commented. "Record it, upload it," another suggested. So I did. The recording was chilling. Even stripped of the static, the voices were weak, strained, and filled with unbearable sorrow. The post blew up. Theories ranged from elaborate hoaxes to government experiments gone wrong. But one comment stood output/DeepSeaDiver77 wrote: "Those frequencies… they're the same frequencies used by the research vessel The Mariana. It went silent six months ago near the Mariana Trench. No distress call. Just… vanished. "Goosebumps erupted on my skin. I dove deeper, searching for any information about The Mariana. News articles confirmed its disappearance. The crew of fifteen was presumed lost. The official explanation was a rogue wave or a catastrophic equipment failure. But the whispers…Driven by a morbid curiosity and a growing sense of dread, I started broadcasting my own messages and replies to the ghostly pleas. "Who are you?" I transmitted. "What happened to you?" "How can I help? "The response was immediate. A cacophony of voices, overlapping, unintelligible. Then, one voice, stronger than the rest, cut through the noise. "Come… join us… down here…" Terror seized me. I killed the transmitter and ripped off my headphones. The house was silent, save for the frantic pounding of my own heart. I told myself it was a prank, a coordinated effort by online trolls. But deep down, I knew it wasn't. Days turned into weeks. I avoided my radio room and tried to forget what I'd heard. But the whispers persisted, not on the radio anymore, but in my head. Faint at first, then growing louder, clearer, more insistent. "Come… join us…"Last night, I dreamt of the ocean floor. A crushing darkness, an unbearable cold. I saw The Mariana, its hull twisted and broken, surrounded by… figures. Pale, and elongated, their eyes glowing with an eerie light. They beckoned me, their voices a chorus of despair. I woke up screaming, drenched in sweat. The whispers are constant now, a deafening roar in my mind. I can't escape them. So, I’m doing it. I’m building a submersible. I found the plans online and modified them for extreme depths. I'm using my life savings, selling everything I own. I have to know. I have to see. I'm going to the Mariana Trench.

She is inspired by Venus Flytraps!(and the character, Venus from Monster high) Rave parties (neon colors) and obviously the Dilophosaurus

She does in fact use acid, the spikes around her also cause acid when she likes to

Her helm is inspired by the flytrap and it in fact does close to catch an enemy and use acid as she does, she had a smaller one next to her cheeks that she mainly uses as a mask when they close
