Anyway lol it'll cost you, the original version, takes place in Bal Harbour, Florida, which is a city very close to Miami. It's in the universe I call 'The Bal Harbour Boys' because there are stories that follow three best friends: Kang, Liam and Beckett. Kang and Liam also have stories, but ICY follows Beckett and Nat. Nat is my absolute favorite OC (but if Beckett heard that, he would looooose it).

After ending his five-year relationship with his girlfriend, who had accidentally admitted she was only with him for his inheritance, Beckett finds himself left behind. His best friends, Liam and Kang, have wives and families, and Beckett has...a 3/2 condo on the beach. He has everything though, right? A nice car, a corner office, and of course, loving friends and family that continue to nag him about when he's going to date again. One year after meaningless hook-ups and situationships, Beckett finds himself in need of a wedding date so he doesn't get set up by his best friend's nosy wife. Natasha Moradi drained her savings by following her boyfriend to another city-only for him to cheat on her with her newfound friend from work. Without money in her bank account, she can't open that bakery she's worked so hard for. After transferring to the Bal Harbour branch of Sterling Property Group, a wealthy client offered her a Sugar Daddy and Sugar Baby relationship. Everything was going fine until the day she turned 25. Adelia has been in Santa Fe for three days now and already she is finding small town living quite pleasing. The climate however, which isn’t remotely temperate, will still take some getting used to. She had taken her time driving through the Chihuahuan Desert to the jagged Sangre de Cristo Mountains, careful to avoid speeding and attracting unwanted attention. When she finally made it to New Mexico, she had headed to the Silver Saddle Motel to rendezvous with her contact; a friend of her late father’s, who she only met a few times in her youth admittedly. Upon contacting him to explain her dire situation, Carmine had instantly agreed to help Adelia keep hidden from SPECTRE so that she could leave the organisation behind her to begin a new life in hiding. Her betrayal and murder of Dominic Greene, retribution for her Father’s murder, is not something that will go unpunished. She has no choice but to remain hidden, at least until Blofeld’s inevitable downfall and she supposes New Mexico is as good a place as any to disappear.

Carmine, or ‘Uncle Carmine’ as she will need to call him now, has secured her false identity documents which certify her as a family member. She is no longer Lady Adelia Lennox, but rather Adelia Gallo, his niece, whom he has rented a small apartment for, above a local bar, whilst she is visiting indefinitely. The former spy has yet to work out what she will do for a job here; she will need to blend in and as such, work of some form will be required. She has a decent amount of cash stuffed in duffel bags, hidden under the floor boards, but that will only last her so long.

Her Saturday night was spent up at the Gallo ranch, playing poker and watching movies with Carmine and his brother Joseph, two men in their fifties who she was still able to drink under the table. Joe is the brains of Carmine’s operation here and is responsible for running most of the illegal gambling rings here in New Mexico, something he’s fairly happy to boast about it seems. In truth, both men are involved in all kinds of crime, but its mostly petty, at least from Adelia’s perspective. Having fallen asleep on Carmine’s sofa, she had agreed to stay the night and now sits at the breakfast table in the back garden, wearing a borrowed dressing grown belonging to Carmine’s girlfriend, sunning her pale legs in the early morning sun, the heat of which is still quite a surprise for a girl who spent most of her youth in London and Moscow. She’s a little hungover, but the cup of coffee Carmine just brought her is helping with that.

Hearing the sound of a car approaching, she is instantly put on high alert, but quickly calms as Joe assures her that they know the driver. Taking another sip of hot coffee, Adalia watches as the driver alights from his vehicle; he's cute, in a rough and ready way, the kind of cute that has her positioning herself at the breakfast table, like a newly awakened, tussled Goddess; in that 'honestly, I woke up this way' manner.

Catching the look on her face, Carmine tuts with a knowing smile, his apparant disapproval only serving to encourage her.

"Hi." She offers the stranger sweetly as he approaches, in that small town girl way she's been working on perfecting recently. That 'butter wouldn't melt' kind of way; certainly no one would suspect she is the kind of girl who has snapped necks with just the right twist of her thighs.

Groaning, you lean your head against the steering wheel. Work this week had been exhausting. You had already worked over 50 hours and then you received an email from your bosses that no overtime would be approved without prior authorization.

Deadlines kept creeping up and clients would just refuse to cooperate. The other associates and partners kept adding more work to your pile. They expected immediate attention and responses but they refused to hire anyone else for your understaffed department.

You had managed to leave work a few hours earlier today. But not for vacation. You had to go home and finish packing up your old apartment before taking boxes to your new shared apartment with your boyfriend.

Your phone alerts you to a new incoming text from Brigham, to which you reply.

As you laughed and unpacked with Brigham, you can feel the stress melt away.

“Love… Come. I have a surprise. I know that we promised no secrets but I've been hiding something from you.”

“Was this a crime scene once!?” You ask a bit too excited.

“What!? No!” He replies cracking up. He takes your hand and start leading you up the stairs. “When I bought the apartment I made note of any renovations to be done… And so I went to to get the blueprints… And I found a secret room.”

He opens a small door that was covered by an antique bookcase left by the previous owner. He gently leads you in and covers your eyes before leading you further into the room.

“I remember how you once told me your favorite moment in any movie was when the Beast gave Belle a library.”

You can feel you heart start to race. Ever since you first saw that movie, your love for books and reading multiplied.

“So… This is my version of that,” he says removing his hands from your eyes.

You take in the small room perfectly decorated with shelves filled with books. You step closer and recognize some of the books you already had and some that had been on your wishlist.

You turn to ask Brigham if he got you new books when you see him down on one knee, holding open a red velvet box.

“I am making this vow to you that this is the only secret I’ll keep from you. I always want to make you happy. I want us to always be honest with each other and help the other in stressful days. I want everyday of the rest of our lives to be a party for two. I love you. So, take this as a clear sign, I'll be yours if you'll be mine. Will you marry me?”

You can only nod as happy tears fill your eyes. “Yes! I’ll marry you! I love you Harvard.”

He smiles widely as he slides the ring on your finger. “Future Mrs. Lennox… Mrs. Harvard.” He stands and twirls you before dipping and kissing you. “Let’s go celebrate with champagne.”

WIP INTRO | BITE THE HAND

BITE THE HAND: A FAMILY TRAGEDY

Genre: Erotic Horror, Gothic, Dystopian Fiction, Extreme Horror 

Status: Drafting 

Setting: The Bunker, an underground community of the last remaining human beings. Think neoclassical architecture, a lot of plush velvet and ionic columns. On top of it is the Viewing Room, a glass dome with a lounge inside; it’s the last place in the world where people can see the sun. 

Summary: 

Eleanor Bohannon-Lennox, daughter of the President of the Bunker, has a problem: her Father is a politically illiterate moron. He has just made the most destabilising decision of his entire career, and now the Bunker is developing a system of politics that he won’t be able to control. Instead of seeing the collapse of society as she knows it as a disaster, Eleanor sees it as an opportunity. She’s smarter than her father, better than him, and with some political savvy, bad morals, a subtle amount of violence, and some extreme blackmail, she’ll be able to rise to the top. Maybe, she’ll finally be able to see the sun, after being denied it so long. 

Her twin brother, Alexander ‘Sasha’ Bohannon-Lennox, doesn’t have a problem. He’s at the peak, used as a PR piece for his father - he’s in the lap of power, and he wants for nothing. At least, that’s what he’s pretty sure is his life. There’ve been whispers, about guns, and about executions, and about people starving; he doesn’t believe them, of course. His Father would never let things get so bad. 

Still, people seem to be hungry. The rich don’t like being denied their luxuries, when they’ve gotten used to it. Starvation is a killer. Deprivation is a killer. After a long enough time, even your friends start looking like meals.
