i'm going to throw up WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT JIN AND TREY AND THEIR LIL CHAT IN THE INFIRMARY.

maybe i just attached to try way too fast but im simultaneously devastated by his loss of leg (mainly because i love his cunty lil ribcage shinguards) and absolutely enthused that grizzly took that character and put him in a situation. i love when lil guys are put in traumatic situations

trey covering his eyes to try and hide that he's crying but then his voice giving the whole thing away was so real. and jin holding onto hope for trey to get better somehow was also incredible, but i do hope that instead of just getting his leg restored trey gets a sick prosthesis or like mech crutches (don't ask me how that work in this setting).

i'm just giddy to see how well i think the friendship between jin and trey is portrayed. like yeah the actors are friends as well so that makes it easier, but i love strong friendships portrayed in media that don't end up getting boiled down into a romantic relationship. not to be obviously romance repulsed but i love it so so so much when i get to see friends who care about each other a lot

i actually think it makes so much sense that of all the western artists yoongi has collabed with over the years, he seems to have the greatest affinity artistically (and personally but that's speculation ofc we can't really know how close they are even if the vibes are right) with halsey, notorious tumblr girl. i feel like, had he not been exceptionally busy and over worked during the peak tumblr era, yoongi would have thrived here, like he had and has such tumblr energy okay

the way the characters react whenever there's a display of cgi-ed magic on screen is so funny to me bc by all means these people should be shitting themselves from fear I'm talking screaming crying toppling to the ground in self preservation but they're always so stoic and nonplussed. jang uk can summon a tsunami of magical power to drown anyone and anything in sight and these people will barely flinch. they'll stand there back straight face blank like it's just another tuesday and I can't for the life of me figure out if it's poor acting or a genius intentional reflection of the way the characters of AOS have grown so used to jang uk's bullshit that they've become so deeply unimpressed by him and his godlike powers
