Oooo I don't think I have judged Gideon the Ninth, might have intended to in the past but put it off cause of the chaos! I’m just going to judge the four more complete fellows, if I judged Every bone we’d be here for a While, especially as some of the floating bones I haven’t been able to identify...

Top left: slightly dislocated looking left shoulder, missing a ridge near the top of the left scapula, I can’t see much of the pelvis but what I can see doesn’t seem to make sense (could well be perspective plus fog though), otherwise good bone shapes 8/10

Lower left (above the ribcage in the corner):broken skull :( , actually looking at it I think the skull might not be attached :’( , can’t tell for sure but looks like too few ribs, odd bulbous bit where the shoulder joint should be? might be the scapula’s dislocated, might be another bone got mixed in during the chaos, it’s confusing me. Good skull shape and nice vertebrae 7/10

Top right (below the floating skull): besides maybe missing ribs, and what could be a damaged humerus this fellow looks great! 9/10

Lower right: broken skull :( , missing or wrongly positioned first ribs (would be a bit higher than the first set of ribs here), unusually flat scapula, unusually pointy head of the humerus. Really tricky angle for the pelvis but it looks decent! 7/10

i have seen more posts abt this pop up sometimes but i think ppl really need to be taught more about OCD and its triggers because there is a lot of normalized behavior online that hurt OCD people and trigger them into episodes and dangerous behavior. things like PTSD triggers have become more widely discussed, and i think many find it easier to understand because they can grasp that its rooted in trauma, and the resulting trigger from the trauma 'makes more sense' most of the time.

OCD is complicated, and one of its biggest issues is that it is often rooted in things that 'dont make sense'. its what often results in people not taking OCD seriously, because some thing the person is freaking out about or focused on or spiraling about is strange, irrational, delusional, etc to them. this, plus the long time misinformation regarding OCD and seeing it has a neat freak/organization/pickiness disorder, makes people take it less seriously because their impression is that its some person simply getting upset about minor changes that others wouldnt normally be bothered by. so when its a bigger, more obvious, upsetting reaction suddenly its even more irrational to have been triggered because people cannot understand the weight and effect of what they think is so simple.

people absolutely need to unlearn this perspective on OCD, and take it seriously so that they can properly analyze their behavior to understand how it might be harmful. honestly the strict and controlling attitudes in online communities more often than not feed harmful thinking for OCD people, and only continue to do so when going unchecked

I'm going to preface this story by saying: I don't necessarily believe in karma, but

I may have been walking through today with a vague sense of disbelief tainted with unkind smugness after my tiktok fyp was flooded with poor fans who tried to get presale ticket to one mr n. kahan's new tour only to find that demand was through the roof and GA pit tickets were seriously going for $300, in presale, and even the "worst" tickets in the lawn were going for $70

and while I undoubtedly think it's deeply unethical for both platforms (thanks ticketmaster) and artists to allow such dramatic ticket cost inflation, I also generally don't relate...

I (VERY LUCKILY) gravitate towards smaller acts, and the most I've paid for a ticket all year has been, like... $90 for a ticket to beyonce, which got cancelled and I was refunded lol. if I look back at all my receipts from shows this year, most have been around $50/ticket after fees, and several have been closer to $20. my favorite show I've seen all year was a $15 ticket.

it's mostly luck—I tend to like smaller acts, and I've been seeing mainly rock acts this year, and those tickets simply don't run as high as pop acts. and part of me is honestly very grateful that I haven't been swept into any of the really recent huge acts.

I think of all the people scrabbling for boygenius or taylor swift tickets and how much money they've had to shell out... how a lot of them don't even GET to see the acts they want to see because they've been priced out or tickets sold out. I can't remember the last time a show I wanted to go to sold out lol. maybe bastille in london?

and again, it's just a matter of luck that I'm not really into any of these megastars and therefore don't have to compete in the gladiator arena to try to see shows I want to see, but sometimes luck manifests as a feeling of self-satisfaction, you know? who among us hasn't experienced a little self-superiority from time to time.

look, if YOUR tiktok was flooded with people saying concerts have been awful since 2021 (including rock and metal shows), but every concert YOU'VE been to since 2021 was amazing and the crowds were really good and you always got tickets and it never broke the bank, you'd feel pretty validated in your choice of musicians and the crowds they attract too, alright?? sue me! I felt frugal AND undeservedly clever!

I understand more than people may think from my views instinctual disgust reactions. But for me, the more 'gross' a conquest is, the more Fun it is.

I like visceral and strange. I feel a kinship to people I don't actually have a 'badwrong' thing in common with because either way, they are Weird, and it fascinates and excites me to no end. It's not even necessarily sexual, and I think even the sexual aspects of it aren't always rooted in base sexual appeal. Moreso, it pings the part of my mind that finds much joy in taking things apart and studying them. The part of my mind that sings like angels at the unusual.
