Years and years ago Vlad and Greg turned each other's wives to spite each other, and Judith and Avelina were so sick of their husbands' petty little rivalry that they left them both and fucked off together instead. With Avelina's science and Judith's money and ambition they worked together to stave off the worst of their conditions' effects. (Unlike their ex-husbands, who've both given into their monstrous natures.) Nowadays they're still together and doing pretty damn good, actually--they're co-CEOs of their occult pharmaceutical company. (Ever wonder who manufactures the plasma packs you order online? L&S Pharma, baby!)

Idk if this question has been asked before but how did Breanna and Vlad meet? And when did they realize that they were in love with each other?

hey hi this is such an exciting question!! so, i actually used to have a story called “thanatophobia” which served as a prequel to my straud legacy, and which answered this exact question. unfortunately, i deleted it a few years ago bc it was UGLY!! i plan on reprising it for simblr, so this question will eventually be answered through the reprisal. but since i’ve talked about this before, i’ll post the answer below!! just know that i’ll explain things in a LOT more detail when i get around to posting the reprisal!

the basic answer is that breanna ran away from her home after being alienated and isolated her entire life, losing track of her whereabouts and falling unconscious. while comatose, she’s retrieved by the vatore twins, who house her until she wakes. upon realizing the existence of vampires, brie impulsively asks to be transformed. lilith and caleb cannot transform her, as they’re only underlings, so they introduce her to vladislaus, the grand master and count of the territory.

their first encounter is terrible. the moment vladislaus lays eyes on her, he’s enraged. it offends him, to see a young, attractive girl throw away her humanity to become a vampire, a beast, a fate which was forced upon him. to find her asking for his burdens, it truly appalls him. his reaction isn’t ideal, and it’s only until breanna begins crying that he realizes how poorly he’s behaving. onward, he does his best to be levelheaded and considerate to the girl, but it does little to sully her nerves. for weeks, breanna is terrified of him, finding him temperamental and ghoulish. though her transformation is undergone and monitored at the straud estate, she goes as far as to force the vatore siblings to accompany her, as to ensure she’s not alone with vladislaus. she’s that terrified of him.

over time, though, she realizes they’re not so different from each other after all. both come from poor, abusive families and struggle with various traumas and undiagnosed mental health issues; both are introverted and homely and prefer leisurely activities; both are codependent in relationships and suffer intense attachment issues; both have a strong love for music and the arts. most apparently, they’re both completely starved of affection. in breanna’s adolescence, she was scapegoated, alienated, and shunned by her family, and in her adult life, she struggles to accept or even recognize kind gestures, as though affection were something completely unfamiliar. conversely, vladislaus was over-relied on in adolescence, burdened with the expectations of manning a home and raising 12 siblings as a young child, and in his adult life he struggles with his controlling nature, which prevents him from maintaining fulfilling relationships. vladislaus has spent centuries feeling unneeded, and breanna has spent her entire life feeling unwanted, but within each other they give what the other lacks. for a long while, they maintain this strange “almost” relationship where they’re very obviously attracted to one-another, but refuse to admit it aloud, as though they’re afraid of being rejected by the other.

that is, until vladislaus “accidentally” eats breanna’s abusive ex-boyfriend after coincidentally stumbling upon him one evening. allegedly, the mere sight of the man triggered a rage-induced vampiric blackout, forcing vladislaus’ hand as he brutally, and unconsciously, murders him. in the process, the vampire world is exposed. luckily, breanna stops his rage (with the help of witches, and love<3), she gets him outta trouble with her vampire charm, the human world is like “There’s vampires now, that’s cool,” vlad and brie FINALLY admit they love each other, and then all is well! lol

i can’t wait to eventually post the full story for u guys to read!! ive literally been thinking about this reprisal since i deleted the original in 2020, like my brain is rotting with all this silly brie/vlad lore u dont UNDERSTAND HAH anyways if u read this far ily thanks for reading my cringe vlad fanfiction <3

Bekindtoyourself-darling’s ‘just make it better’ save file v.2 - Snowy Escape Update

This is an update to my save file in which Snowy Escape has been updated. Not all lots have been changed or changed majorly as some I personally believe are already very nice. But some have been updated, some have had minor or major changes. The sims have also been updated.  While the original intent is for this save file to be played with cc for the sims, there is an option for cc free sims, but be aware they won't look as good as their cc'd counterparts. I would recommend default skin or default eyes at the least as this helps update their look majorly without the need for a ton of cc. There are three versions to this save file. These versions are:

CC Free Buildings, but CC’d Sims (You can find the cc lists under the cut, most sims have the same CC.) (This is labelled as the CC save)

CC Free Buildings and Sims (This is labelled as the No CC save)

Buildings Only. No Sims.  (This is labelled as the No Sim save)

This means you can pick the one right for you. If you want my cc’d versions of the sims which you can look at if you go through my sims tag then you can go through the cc lists and download all the cc. CC Lists are all linked below. While some sims have a lot, most sims have basic cc like skin details and default eyes, most of the cc is the same. While each household has a cc list a lot of those cc lists are identical.  You can find all the CC lists linked below.

Equally if you work without cc or don’t want the hassle of downloading more cc you can get the cc free sim version or if you want a completely empty world save there’s a version with no sims at all.

Please bear in mind that I have all the packs, although I do not have the new kits. This is a save file that uses all the packs and uses them in different worlds. You might find things missing from builds if you don’t have all packs! You might also find items missing off of sims such as hairs and clothes!

I have gone through and added relationships for sims. There are some sims who are completely new and some sims have relationships we might remember from sims 2!

If you use the save and take screenshots etc. I’d love to be tagged so I can see you enjoy it and using the sims and the builds!

I have also sorted out an issue with the bathroom in the Strangerville bar, it is now big enough for your sims to go into and use! If you notice any other issues when playing with my save file do let me know so that I can fix them!

Townie Baby Challenge

Using a matriarch (or any sim that can get pregnant) try to have a baby with every single pre made townie in the game and raise those children to adulthood without them dying or being taken away. As more packs come out more townies and babies will be had.

Rules

Must have at least 1 baby with every pre made sim. This doesn’t count sims from the trailer on the gallery that gurus or maxis post. These sims must be already in the world and in everyone’s game.

Cheats can be used to change pregnancy ability of different sims.

Must start with average funds and build up house from there.

Cannot have a baby with the same sim twice.

Cannot marry until matriarch becomes and elder.

If child dies or is taken away, another baby with that child’s parent is needed. (If you have twins and one dies no need to do this).

Matriarch cannot get a job.

Toddlers must get all skills to level 3 to age up.

Children must get two skills to level 5 and get an A in school.

Teens must get an A in school and have two skills at level 5.

Skills should relate to parents traits. (Parents from a certain pack’s children should have skills from that pack).

Must wait until underage sims age up to young adult to have a baby with them.

If matriarch dies before finishing this then youngest daughter (or impregnable child) completes the challenge.
