I know this is a sensitive issue for many in the fandom, but do you think Donald and Daisy can adopted May and June?
Donald: Look, I don't care what anyone says...
Donald: You could not pay me to say that he could raise children.
Scrooge: ...
Donald, carrying May and June: Adoption or not, they are my honorary daughters. Webby, too, if she wants.
I'd like to believe that they both look after the girls. Regardless of whether they straight up adopt them or not, they would probably be there for the girls as some kind of caretakers or guardians.
(Also, sorry for the lack of Daisy, I really wanted Donald to diss Scrooge. I had a funny idea and I drew it, lol.)

Prompt 11 - Disagree
@jegulus-microfic June 11, Word count 563
Previous part First part
“So what are we doing today then?” James asked after they’d cleared away the breakfast things.
“I don’t know, darling. You could take me dancing, I suppose, and then we could promenade,” Sirius snickered. James threw a tea towel at him.
“I’ll rephrase. Regulus, love. What would you like to do today?” He asked Regulus directly. Regulus got that wicked glint in his eyes that James now knew meant trouble.
“I don’t know, darling. You could take me dancing, I suppose, and then we could promenade.” James only just resisted rolling his eyes. Deciding to ignore the brothers, he turned to Remus.
“Any other suggestions?” Remus looked at him thoughtfully.
“The museum and then pizza?”
“Sold,” James offered his arm to Remus and Remus happily linked it, as they headed towards the door.
“Hey!” Regulus and Sirius yelled out together and scrambled to the door after them.
They spent the rest of the morning and afternoon wandering around the exhibits, Sirius and Regulus pointing different pieces out and expanding on the information given. James came away with his head bursting with knowledge and a souvenir keyring.
“Where do you want to eat?” He asked them, “Or should we get a takeaway?”
“I quite liked the idea of pizza,” Regulus said. “But can we get the fancy ones from Antonio’s?” James was about to agree when Sirius butted in.
“What, you don’t want the greasy goodness of Marco’s?” Sirius teased.
“No, Marco’s is for when we’re drunk. Antonio’s is for when we’re actually having dinner,” Regulus argued.
“Well, who said we weren’t drinking?” Sirius argued back.
“No, Antonio’s,” Regulus continued.
“I disagree,” Sirius smirked and James guessed he was just trying to rile Regulus up. “We can order Marco’s, then while we wait, if we do a line of shots each, we’ll be ready for when it arrives.”
James stopped listening to them argue and pulled out his phone. He found the only nearby pizza place called Antonio’s that had more gourmet-looking pizzas and started scrolling through the menu selecting what he wanted. He passed his phone to Remus, who did the same. He then handed it to Regulus, who, with a smug look on his face, selected his choice.
“Either you tell me what you want or I’m ordering you the cauliflower one.” He warned his brother. Sirius glowered at him.
“You wouldn’t dare,” He tried.
“5-4-3-2-1,” Regulus counted, dropping a finger down with each number.
“Wait, wait, wait!” Sirius cried, “I want the one with all the meat and stuffed crust. Please,” He added at the end, not wanting to risk his dinner.
“Excellent,” James beamed as he clicked the order button. “That should be arriving just as we are,” They hopped on the bus and travelled back to Regulus and Sirius’s.
The pizza was delicious. It was James’s new favourite, and he demanded that they get it every time he came to visit. Regulus had agreed, but only after James had enclosed him in his arms and peppered him with kisses until he said yes.
They’d just settled in to watch a film when James’s phone rang.
“JAMES FLEAMONT POTTER!” Effie bellowed down the phone. “YOU HAD BETTER BE ALRIGHT!” There was a scuffle on the line and then Monty’s voice came through.
“Son, I told you to message her,” James winced and took the phone call out into the hall.

[fic] the long winds of autumn
Fandom: Mysterious Lotus Casebook
Pairing: Di Feisheng x Fang Duobing x Li Lianhua (established and still exasperatedly devoted, with shades of the secret third thing)
Rating: M
Word Count: 8,700 (complete one-shot)
Summary:
Fang Duobing has a most excellent idea. It sends Li Lianhua into a bit of a spiral, and Di Feisheng to consider where and how he can belong.
They work through it together.
-> read on ao3.
hi fandom, I come bearing dubious gifts (yet again). the point of this one is mostly:
post-canon difanghua roaming the jianghu, a few years on
Fang Xiaobao accidentally on purpose proposes marriage
Li Lianhua has to subsequently haunt the narrative about it (he is very much alive and involved tho)
Di Feisheng is very vexed by this whole attachment thing

tuning in V3 and V4: like sculpting with clay. what you put in is what you get. there are definitive things you can do that will have definitive results. sometimes the raw material (voicebank) is a little more resistant to what you are doing than others, but generally, you can do roughly the same thing you always do and get the same result.
tuning in V6: arcane puzzle. tangle of notes without laws or rules. what works on one part of the track will not work on another part. even if you manage to get something to work, be careful about turning your back on it for too long, lest it finds some way to undo itself. legitimately activates the part of your brain responsible for problem solving more than creativity. and yet somehow i can't imagine myself going back to V4 for the moment.
tuning in V5: hell.

Dragons Rising Needs To Do Better With Zane
Fix Zane's character and make him not a stereotype, not a plot device, not treated like shit. I am tired of seeing Lloyd take Zane's characterization of the "one with visions" I do not care that Lloyd got the dragon steroid injected into him, that was what made Zane interesting because look guys Zane's having visions of something about the future that involves him being blasted into another realm and being a genocidal emperor (everyone didn't care about that) But no holy shit Lloyd is having visions about the ninja dying and a blood moon (everyone cares about that because it involves them all in danger)
I understand having new characters and balancing them with the old ones, I get that, but you could have written both Zane and Jay out of Dragons Rising and nothing would change.
Zane has not done anything to warrant him even being in the plot as of right now. He stayed behind with a frog and a picture of his missing half trying to open a portal that can clearly be opened by The Savior Himself Lloyd when he goes into Dragon Steroid Mode most likely. The only thing going for him is that egg and finding Pixal and I am genuinely interested in how that will turn out.
"But Dragons rising only started and they are introducing a lot of characters and plots and we are about to get season 2-" The egg that Zane was in and him finding Pixal can be done in 3 or 4 seasons, after that then what? What is left for him to do because he obviously won't do anything near what anyone else is doing, he doesn't have a student to train, he doesn't have Dragon Steroids, and his name isn't Lloyd or Kai
He does not have any long term progression in Dragons Rising like Lloyd or Kai does and he will most likely leave the main cast that he barely felt like he was apart of after a few seasons (after the Egg and Pixal things are taken care of)
Yeah, it's not all about Zane, I don't want that to be the case. Arin and Sora are the best things to come out of Dragons Rising, but treating Zane (hell even Jay) like this is insulting. Zane is a great character with one of the best character arcs in the whole series and I just want something new with Zane and not just have him on screen for 3 minutes and not again until 5 more episodes. I want that arc to be whatever is going on with the egg. I want that to be what makes Zane have the character arc he deserves and has needed since Season 11. His character is balancing between getting absolutely fucked over by the writers and decent character arc.
Will I still watch Dragons Rising? Of course. Is it good and do I enjoy it? Hell yes. Will I enjoy it more if Zane has more to do? Absolutely.
