Edward Nygma X Reader

Each Riddlemen has their own way of flustering their favourite person. Varies from version to version and here they are:

💚 Young Justice

His way of flustering you? If he's not trying to replicate people he sees with their flimsy pick-up lines, flattery. He isn't the most fluent in romance talk, most especially when he can barely string words together in a coherent sentence when he himself is losing his bearings before his favourite person, twiddling his thumb, averting his gaze, oblivious to the red spreading across his face and neck. But if there's something he's good at, it's being observant, being able to recognise talent in people and telling them how they're doing a great job, even if he is massively flustered.

"You... You're so good at doing this. The way you manage details so intricately even if some might not notice them, it's just so unique and special. I hope you know that the others will love your work when you think that your work is nothing but subpar, well that simply isn't true. You're the greatest one I've ever seen and I hope you don't give up on it." If it were even possible, his face darkens with red. "S-sorry! I tend to... Ramble. I'm sorry for wasting your time!"

💚 The War of Jokes and Riddles

💚 Batman Unburied

Idk about you, gentles and ladymen, this man-- oh this man. I am an independent woman, but this man has the ability to make me submit with a single stare.

Now this, this man has a way with words and body language around his favourite person. Lingering touches, hushed whispers of intimacy, praises, spoiling you with gifts... He has a competition with himself on how to make you burn from where you're standing. It's just his general confidence that makes him attractive, and of course he himself is an attractive individual. He knows which buttons to push, and which strings to pull to unravel you.

"You've done a stellar performance, my love. Know that you'll be rewarded... Handsomely."

His affections are easy to miss, especially when he gives you no time to process them and when you're really caught off guard. His compliments comes as a passing comment in the middle of a conversation that doesn't correlate with the topic at hand.

"This guy is as arithmetically incompetent as a mule, I swear to god if he doesn't get this right, I am revoking my membership-- looking ethereal as always, Y/N-- anyways, so I just paid yesterday right? Now the guys are asking me to....."

You've yet to process whatever he said, whether you were hearing things or not. But when he notices you freeze, trying to process what he just said, he pauses and grins at you.

"My, my, are you that flattered that you stopped listening to me? Well, I'd give you a pass, since you're cute."

"The Warehouse"

After the villains leave, one makes one last performance which was the Mysterious Messenger: Phantom giving away for the cops and the Batman a hard time to track them.

The city was scared as it was full of bloodshed, bodies, explosions, and of course stolen jewelry and cash.

"Wow, what a night! Welp time get to it."

She opened the huge door of a abandoned warehouse and walked in to drop the loot. She stretched as she groaned of the aching pain in her back.

"What a pretty successful heist, ay fellas? For now on they'll definitely remember our names. Wild Card, Bloodaxe, Fox, Sliver Shadow, and all who plays and behind the curtain: Mystery"

She laughed as she laid on the table spread out and childlike giggling.

"The Krakens"

The city of Gotham, at first quiet at night and has it's normal grey monochrome hues and dark atmospheric vibe that suddenly it's not so quiet anymore... Instead, they hear explosives fire off in the side of the city with maniacal, crazed, and delighted laughter along with it.

The screams flood the streets as people run for their lives away from the explosion.

"AHAHAHA! Aww, don't like the sound of noise? Too bad Gotham, Wild Card is here!! HAHAHA!!!"

There stand Wild Card on the rooftops with bags of money in her hands as she got over her laughing fit.

Episode 4!

"Feelings Mixed or True?"

It was beginning to become morning In Gotham. Although it's skies we're a greyish blue of the early mornings, you can hear the sound of the birds of their songs as they fly. Fluffy was at a cafe down the street, she watched as people passed by and cars too. She spaced out as the ice coffee she had to numb her hand of it's chill. That night meeting the rouges... The same ones that fought the Batman themselves actually met her and her teammates.

"Encounters and Rumors"

@justalilguywriting as Bane while I act as Scarecrow and Riddler in this one so we're acting our rogues and theirs.

It was the next night, it was quiet as usual. Of course, as all Gothamites know it's always gonna be a unfortunate day...

The notorious "Bane" comes out first, flames behind him while his men take hostage of civilians and take the money. Along side with him, the prince of riddles "Riddler" and the king of fear "Scarecrow" move with their men also.

GCPD were helpless to stop the criminals and can only stand by to wait until their dark savior came to rescue the city from these evil men.

Riddler: "Well well, riddle me this... When is a secret suddenly a rumor? When is a rumor suddenly a fact? You my brawns? "

Scarecrow groaned in annoyance.

Scarecrow: "Ugh, if you're wanting to ask a question, ask it properly!"

"Mischief and Faithful Meetings"

A devious low chuckle came across her lips, her eyes shining with intention and lust. The lotus pearl, which shines brightly in the light of the Gotham Museum for her. She licks her lips as she carefully reaches for it.

"Ho ho ho, come to Mama; you'll be a good one to ponder off to the boss!"

She removes it from the glass case and just before she moves, she sets an alarm off. She curses herself as she jumps to the glass ceiling and tosses the lotus pearl in her bag.

The news that night broadcast that the infamous "Wild Card Blitz" had made her move and was on the run as she stole another precious item without a trace.
