Procrastination thoughts...

Kakashi’s eyes are like the ultimate 'game' of “Would you rather?” It's like:

Would you rather:

1) have normal 20/20 vision, all day every day, just like everybody else (some of us need a little corrective help, but still...)

Orrrr…

2) only be able to see out of ONE eye (lose peripheral vision/your blind spot, lose depth perception, have chronic eye strain/fatigue due to overuse of your good eye, hypersensitivity to light in your good eye due to overcompensation, chronic neck pain from having to constantly turn your head to see in your blind spot, etc…). However, and a big HOWEVER, once a month or so, for a few minutes to hours you have the ultimate in super vision in the usually defunct other eye - can read movements, can predict movements, have super clear vision, I dunno like 200/20 vision, and throw in mind control, teleport things to your own private oasis, heck, put yourself in your own private oasis to get away from it all. But, as a caveat, you will eventually go blind in that eye , depending on how much you use it - it's going to happen, just a matter of when. So, you'll eventually only have one eye, anyway, but while waiting for that to happen, your once-in-a-while magic eye is lit. Oh and you're also chronically fatigued like on an uber anemic level in need of a blood transfusion level kind of tired all the time..but remember, you have that eye thing going on... oh, which , btw, when you use it too much, you end up hospitalized for weeks. But, it's the eye thing!

Granted, he didn't have a choice as a kid. Lil' attitudinal 12-year-old him lost an eye and (that once sweet, angelicallly selfless kid) Obito said, here have mine my kind friend, and Rin said, BAM! Let me work my magic, because what 13-year-old field medic doesn't know how to do an eye transplant, duh. Done! It's now in your head. And you don't have a choice.
