how the dark blood: engene ver. photocard shoot played out

real quick! i personally don't think that neck kisses have to be racy, like a peck to the neck is brief and innocent 

but the one i'm referring to in heeseung's relationship with della is the racy one, whoops.

The Dark Blood, Engene's version album. The most anticipated version among fans and the Enhypen members themselves.

The source behind the members' excitement? A neck-kiss that was supposed to take place.

For the photocard, all members but Niki were set to bear a kiss mark on their neck, with Della's lips serving as the boys' human-stamp and whoever wins rock-paper-scissors as Della's.

Yet the execution was cut short. Very short.

"Kiss here?" Della pointed at the side of Jungwon's neck. The first person appointed was decided by the staff. Perhaps Jungwon was chosen because he was the leader.

His coming-of-age could be an alternate reason. Since he is a recent adult, the staff wanted to check if it works with him.

And of course, there's always a possibility of the choice being completely random.

"Yup, just there. Maybe have it slightly askew," as the creative director and Della discussed placements, the young leader grew more nervous at the thought of his first ever neck-kiss.

"Okay, understood," Della mirror-lessly smeared on a burgundy lipstick, smacking her lips at the camera pointed at them. The rest of the members were all watching from afar, trying to be subtle with how excited they are for their turn. "Ready, Wonie?"

"Mm," Jungwon stretched out his neck for easier access. "Della is gonna make a kiss print on my neck," he explained to the future photoshoot sketch viewers.

"We're all friends here," Della clarified. "This is just bros being bros," as if their fans (or anyone) is gonna believe that.

"It's just a print," Jungwon added, immediately holding his breath when Della's head moved close.

"Like this?" Della asked the creative director.

"Uhh..." he stepped back and thought of it for a second. "It might be too sexy actually. It's a little too... suggestive– too grown up" he hissed with a tilt of his head. "Will buttoning up his shirt help? Jungwon, can you button your shirt?" but even with the slight change in wardrobe, the view was just too provocative.

"I think we have to discard the kiss idea and just switch to vampire bites," the creative director decided. "Unbutton them to how it was before and I'll inform the makeup team of the change. Please scrap this from the video," he informed before walking away.

As a leader, Jungwon was just hoping that his hyungs could get it together and not openly show their disappointment.

"I'll get going now," Della bowed her head and left to join the other members.

"What happened?" Sunghoon asked the girl. 

"The kiss thing is scrapped. We're getting vampire bites instead," immediately after, the boys let out a chorus of 'ahh..'s. 

Jungwon barely managed to hold in a scoff. It's just one tiny neck kiss, what's the big deal?

"Ya– how can they just cancel the kiss after testing it out on Jungwon?" Sunghoon groaned and threw his head back. After the shoots, all eight members were left alone in the green room to prep themselves before heading off, and it seems like the oldest five still held some unresolved feelings.

"They said it was too suggestive and sexy," Jungwon explained. "We all agreed that it is, didn't we?"

"I knowww, but couldn't they just make all of us get the mark first and THEN have it removed?" Sunghoon replied. "And while they're at it, NOT remove it from the behind episode?"

"Why? What difference does it ma–" Jungwon was cut off by Jay.

"It's easy for you to say! You were first up!" he pointed with a grin. Sometimes It's hard to tell whether he's actually serious with the second maknae. He usually gives out a smile while saying certain things. "You could quickly snap a few selfies and post it on Weverse or something. What a missed opportunity."

"What?" Jungwon seriously, truly did not understand what the big deal was.

"That's why I should've been first– they should've gone by age or something." Heeseung added with a sigh, manspreading on the sofa. "Della, darling, come here please," he pat his lap. 

"No, you're staying here," Jake wrapped his arms around Della, who was already on his lap. "Hyung, if we went by age then Jungwon will be first anyway since he's leader."

"That's not what he meant." Sunoo pushed Jake lightly with a giggle. "Like actually just age without consideration for leader."

"Ah is that so?" Jake monotonously said. "I want a lipstick print in public mannn!" he groaned out loud.

"I already imagined mine to be around here," Sunoo stretched his collar to show his collarbone. "What do you think, hyung?"

"It doesn't matter what we think if you're not getting it at the end of the day," Sunghoon replied, smirking at the pout the younger let out. "I imagined mine to be near my throat."

"Well it doesn't matter when you're not getting it at the end of the day!" Sunoo fired back with wide eyes.

"Ish!" Sunghoon balled up his fist with a grin. "Ya–"

"I wanted mine to be here, kinda," Heeseung distracted the two by pointing on the spot under his ear, just where Jungwon got his.

"Isn't that your sweet spot?" Jake asked. Della immediately scoffed out a laugh at his remark.

"How do you know where Heeseung-oppa's sweet spot is?" she laughed. The female member will never stop teasing her boyfriends about their never-fully-straight behaviour. 

"Anyways! I wanted mine around–" Jake tried to change the subject.

"Aish, get over yourselves, hyungs! I wasn't even set to get one," Niki laid his head on Heeseung's lap. "Stop being so horny," ever since he learned the Korean word for 'horny, he's been constantly using it to tease the older members.

"We're not!" the hyuppas and Sunoo protested.

 "With no mark on me, I was gonna look left out of the relationship," Niki muttered and closed his eyes.

"We're sorry, Niki," "We're really sorry, we didn't mean to," the members apologised.

"It's totally cool. Besides, if it's the neck kisses you're after, you could all just ask Della for one like any other day, simple as that."

"Of course! You need to give me some once we get home!" Sunghoon pointed at Della.

"Ya, ya, ya– me too! I want neck kisses too!" Jay sat up straight.

"Of course! You can't just leave any of us out!" Heeseung added.

"Why are you leaving me out then-" Niki was cut off by Sunoo.

"It's not your time yettt." he whined.

During times like these, Della usually stays out of the bickering. She can easily put a stop to it, but where's the fun in that?

Without a word, she got off of Jake's lap and made her way over to Niki, where she placed a chaste kiss on his neck.

"YA, YA, YA, YA, YA! What is happening?!" as his hyungs protested, Niki cheered and pulled Della in for a cuddle. Jungwon, Della and Sunoo were the only ones laughing.

'My men are absolutely adorable,' Della thought.

"You're laying on my lap and you do this to me?!" Heeseung playfully yelled at Niki.

"Maknae on top! Maknae on top!" Niki laughed, pointing at Jungwon and himself. Jungwon clapped his hand as he laughed aloud.

Being up first for the shoot has its perks.

here we are again. looking back at my achievements, looking back at my milestones

this past year hasn’t been the best for me, creativity wise but goddammit, i’m so grateful to have followers/readers as great as you all. i still get extremely excited over every ask/comment i receive and hopefully i’ll get to replying to them (or writing your requests) soon

i keep saying this but i think i’ve gotten harsher with myself in terms of the quality and i don’t think that my abilities can live up to that standard i have made for myself. i also keep telling myself to let it go but true perfectionists know how difficult it actually is

Mi immagino Bi-Han come una persona molto riservata, infatti raramente parla di qualcosa che non abbia a che fare col suo incarico da Granmaestro; perfino in quel caso lì tende ad andare sempre dritto al punto, senza perdersi in conversazioni che ritiene inutili. Forse l'unica eccezione sono stati i suoi fratelli, ma fino ad un certo punto. Tomas menziona nelle intro un Bi-Han freddo e distaccato, quindi i due, seppur cresciuti insieme, non hanno mai condiviso momenti particolarmente intimi nonostante Bi-Han comunque tenesse a lui (a modo suo, ovviamente). Kuai Liang invece, quando ancora erano ragazzi, aveva avuto modo di conoscerlo in modo più approfondito, e con non poca fatica era riuscito a scalfire in superficie per intravedere una minima parte della sua interiorità. Nonostante ciò, andando avanti con gli anni Bi-Han aveva finito per chiudersi sempre di più in sé stesso, preferendo affrontare i propri problemi da solo, anche nei momenti in cui era evidente quanto avesse bisogno di una spalla su cui piangere. Allo stesso tempo, i due fratelli minori rispettavano il suo bisogno di privatezza.

Per questo motivo, nessuno aveva mai più sentito Bi-Han parlare di qualcosa che non fosse prettamente legato al suo lavoro. Addirittura, non considerava nessuna relazione al di fuori di quelle famigliari e lavorative come valide. Mai. Solitamente, se qualcuno provava ad avvicinarsi a lui, Bi-Han si irritava dopo i primi segni d'insistenza e cambiava argomento di conversazione, o optava direttamente per gli insulti.

Quindi nel mio stato delulu mi sogno la sorpresa di Kuai nel notare un comportamento insolito in suo fratello, da quando Liu Kang aveva chiesto loro aiuto. Bi-Han era sempre stato una testa calda e più di tutto non sopportava che gli venissero dati degli ordini; allo stesso tempo però, se Liu chiedeva loro un favore, Bi-Han lo eseguiva senza se e senza ma. Ancor meno Bihan amava i colloqui, ma se era Liu Kang a necessitarne uno si presentava anche agli orari più insoliti. Per non parlare del fatto che trascorreva una quantità di tempo immane lontano dai Lin Kuei per stare con i monaci che allenava Liu Kang. Inizialmente nessuno ci faceva nemmeno troppo caso, perché Bi-Han era solito sfiancarsi dal lavoro e tale dedizione era ormai normale da parte sua.

Kuai non è uno che ama particolarmente farsi gli affari degli altri, ma si fidava abbastanza di Bi-Han per sapere che quest'ultimo non gli avrebbe mai nascosto dettagli riguardanti il loro lavoro o le loro successive missioni. Ad esclusione, se Bihan non aveva nulla da nascondere, significava che la maggior parte degli incontri che teneva con Liu Kang non riguardavano il loro lavoro. Altrimenti, avrebbe sicuramente detto qualcosa anche a Kuai e Tomas.

Quindi beh, Kuai non si fa gli affari degli altri, no, ma se c'è da scartare un po' di drama non si tira certamente indietro, a maggior ragione se la persona coinvolta è suo fratello. Per settimane non aveva mai esternato i suoi dubbi, finché non fu Tomas, una mattina, a tirare fuori l'argomento, facendo notare a Kuai come Bi-Han avesse lasciato il tempio la sera ma non fosse più rientrato.

Da quel momento entrambi iniziarono a osservare Bi-Han con un occhio di riguardo, stando particolarmente attenti a dove diceva di andare e cosa faceva quando loro tre erano da soli; entrambi riuscirono a notare come Bi-Han cambiasse completamente approccio ogni qualvolta che Liu Kang era insieme a loro: diventava più tranquillo, meno sfacciato, e la sua espressione quasi si rilassava. Erano anni che Kuai non vedeva il volto di Bi-Han contorto in un'espressione che non fosse di concentrazine o rabbia. Tomas giurò perfino che una volta aveva visto Bihan sorridere sotto la maschera mentre parlava con Liu Kang, e ne aveva parlato come se avesse visto gli Dèi.

Kuai aveva racimolato abbastanza coraggio per affrontare Bi-Han a riguardo, spinto più da interesse che altro: certamente, non denunciava il fratello per essersi fatto un eventuale amico, ma era ben curioso di sapere come Liu Kang fosse riuscito nell'impresa. Dovette però parlare senza fare nessun tipo di accusa che potesse obbligare Bi-Han a mettersi subito sulla difensiva: quando gli chiese perché si lasciava sottomettere senza obiezioni da Liu, Bi-Han aveva semplicemente detto qualcosa simile a "perché ci stiamo guadagnando anche noi".

Eppure loro non ci guadagnavano un bel niente, ad aiutare Liu Kang; se non altro, ci perdevano su molto del loro tempo: c'erano giorni in cui il loro clan non aveva nessuno che potesse seguire i loro allenamenti, considerando che Bi-Han era sempre lontano dal tempio. Tempio che, tra l'altro, erano giorni che non veniva più seguito come prima, perchè il Granmaestro non aveva più tempo per dedicarsi alla cura della struttura. A quel punto era palese che, se Bi-Han ci stava effettivamente "guadagnando" qualcosa, era parallelo al loro lavoro, e che non ne aveva ancora fatto parola con nessuno.

Kuai aveva iniziato a sospettare che Bi-Han e Liu Kang fossero diventati amici stretti, anche se l'idea che Bi-Han potesse anche solo concepire una relazione di questo genere era già surreale. Eppure non c'erano altre spiegazioni, ed era evidente che Bi-Han stesse bene quando Liu Kang era al suo fianco. Forse, pensava che coltivando un'amicizia con Liu sarebbe riuscito in qualche modo a elevare lo status del loro clan, o ad accontentare le sue aspirazioni di potere.

Il dubbio fu presto smentito quando un giorno Kuai e Bi-Han si cambiarono insieme dopo un allenamento: era da un po' di tempo che i due non combattevano l'uno contro l'altro, e la loro seduta era durata ore. Erano entrambi talmente stanchi che Bi-Han non aveva neanche avuto la forza di lamentarsi quando aveva visto Kuai Liang entrare nello spogliatoio insieme a lui. Mentre si cambiavano, l'occhio di Kuai cadde involontariamente sul fisico del fratello: la sua pelle chiara era imperlata di sudore e coperta di lividi, alcuni che riconosceva essere opera sua, come quelli sul bacino e sulle spalle, ma altri erano in posti alquanto ambigui: sul suo petto, appena sotto le clavicole, sulle sue cosce, e alcuni più piccoli perfino sul collo, che fino a quel momento Kuai non aveva nemmeno notato. Ma più di tutto lo colpì una scottatura, che si trovava sull'interno coscia di Bi-Han, e che Kuai poté vedere solo quando il fratello gli stava dando le spalle. Non era grave, ma era stata comunque abbastanza potente da lasciare un'impronta scura sulla sua pelle; era stranamente grande, e Kuai quasi spalancò gli occhi quando vide che aveva la forma di una mano. Qualcuno aveva premuto con forza fino a lasciare un alone sulla sua gamba; e non era neppure l'unico segno, perché se ne potevano intravedere anche di più leggeri sui suoi fianchi.

Preso dalla curiosità, ma anche dalla preoccupazione, gli aveva chiesto cosa fosse successo. Appena finirono di cambiarsi, Kuai afferrò Bi-Han per un braccio chiedendogli se stesse bene; quando quest'ultimo gli chiese il perché della domanda, lui menzionò i segni che aveva sul corpo.

Suo fratello aveva aggrottato le sopracciglia, scazzato, incitandolo a farsi gli affari propri senza interessarsi tanto a quello che faceva lui nella sua vita privata. Già il fatto che Bi-Han avesse usato il termine "privata" era come ammettere che Kuai aveva ragione a pensare quello che pensava.

L'ultima, definitiva prova che Bi-Han stava apprezzando fin troppo la compagnia di Liu Kang arrivò quando i tre fratelli furono invitati da quest'ultimo a passare dei giorni al suo tempio per seguire gli allenamenti dei due campioni presi da Madam Bo.

Le notti erano particolarmente tranquille, ma Kuai aveva ugualmente fatto fatica ad addormentarsi in un letto che non era il suo. Così, aveva più volte passato le notti in piedi passeggiando per i giardini del tempio, osservando la loro struttura e godendosi la tranquillità che trasmettevano. Per arrivare ai giardini era obbligatorio passare davanti alle stanze dei monaci e conseguentemente davanti a quella di Liu.

Passando davanti alle varie porte, dei suoni catturarono l'attenzione del ninja. Kuai constatò di non essere l'unico sveglio, e preso dall'interesse aveva appoggiato l'orecchio sulla porta da cui provenivano per distinguere la voce che li emetteva. Si staccò immediatamente quando li identificò come gemiti di piacere. A maggior ragione, appena riconobbe la voce roca di suo fratello mescolarsi insieme a quella Liu Kang, si allontanò preferendo uscire dal corridoio senza intromettersi più di quanto non avesse già fatto...

Appena raggiunse i giardini il peso della scoperta gli gravava così tanto sulle spalle che non potè fare a meno di immaginarsi la faccia di Tomas appena gli avrebbe confidato il segreto.

Penso che Bi-Han sarebbe quindi uno riservato anche nelle sue relazioni, preferendo tenerle nascoste il più possibile. Di certo sarebbe l'ultima persona a mostrarsi romantico in pubblico. Inoltre, non vorrebbe di certo passare come "smielato" davanti al suo clan o ai suoi fratelli, in quanto Granmaestro ha pur sempre un'immagine da mantenere.

Facebook compie vent’anni: è diventato adulto? Di certo noi utenti siamo regrediti: ragioniamo in modo dicotomico e binario il nostro cervello si attiva solo su scelte divisive, siamo intellettualmente ridotti ai minimi termini con questa storia dei like e con il mito del guadagno facile, tipo lotteria degli influencer, mentre i nostri dati vengono smerciati. Nel frattempo Mark Zuckerberg celebra il tutto con un teatrino ipocrita al Congresso sulla sicurezza dei social e i bambini.

Mark, non ce la siamo passata benissimo negli ultimi vent’anni. Ci siamo dovuti sorbire ogni tipo di mitomane, gattini di ogni razza, preghiere alla Madonna di ogni genere, nazi, comunisti, truffatori che offrono corsi mirabolanti, uomini d’affari di circa diciannove anni con laurea all’università della strada, i politici, gli influencer, i microinfluencer e micropolitici e poi, ancora peggio, l’orrore di cinquantenni mai risolti che postano selfie in cambio di una dose di dopamina. Facebook ha cambiato il nostro modo di relazionarci al prossimo ma non ha cambiato i nostri contenuti, non siamo diventati migliori, anzi. Siamo regrediti, ragioniamo in modo dicotomico e binario il nostro cervello si attiva solo su scelte divisive, siamo intellettualmente ridotti ai minimi termini con questa storia dei like e con il mito del guadagno facile, tipo lotteria influencer. A proposito della progressione gloriosa di questa aziendina di bravi nerd dalla faccia pulita, c’è un interessante reportage, poi diventato libro “Facebook: l’inchiesta finale” di Cecilia Kang e Sheera Frenkel (due giornaliste del New York Times), dove emergono cose a dir poco inquietanti. Nel 2005 Facebook celebrava un anno di attività con un milione di utenti, una community importantissima con una struttura mastodontica dove la privacy era totalmente assente questo per volere di Zuck maniaco del controllo in nome della tecno religione e del progresso. C’è un racconto esilarante dove un dipendente Facebook anticipa di dieci appuntamenti la limonata con la ragazza perché ancora prima di vederla conosce i suoi gusti, tutte le sue conversazioni più segrete e tutte le chat private con la propria famiglia. Nei successivi dieci anni ci abbiamo pensato noi con grande costanza a educare l’algoritmo, postando informazioni sul nostro mondo privato, nemmeno Foucault avrebbe previsto questa aberrazione.

Una Rivisitazione di “Spring Day”

“Spring Day” non avrà mai fine. I BTS concludono la canzone con le parole, “ti/vi prego, resta/te” e questo è il loro modo di dirci che sicuramente ci rincontreremo, se solo sapremo “aspettare ancora un po'.” Ma non appena espirano l'ultima sillaba, i tanti suoni di sottofondo, fino a quel momento sospesi nell'orizzonte melodico della traccia, svaniscono. Così come l'orizzonte al passaggio dal giorno alla notte, “Spring Day” si chiude su una nota amara e desolata nelle voci dei ragazzi. E l'ironia è che il vuoto e la solitudine lasciati da un brano che, fondamentalmente, parla di un ricongiungimento imminente possono essere mitigati solo riascoltando la canzone. L'oscurità e la tristezza iniziano a dissiparsi solo quando facciamo ripartire “Spring Day”, con i suoi calmi accordi e le melodie alle tastiere. Eppure sappiamo che ci aspetta di nuovo un finale nell'oscurità più totale. Se quello è davvero il finale, se il vuoto è il luogo oscuro in cui vengono inghiottite le loro voci, come può il tempo riprendere a scorrere? Il video musicale di “Spring Day” si apre con V inginocchiato nella neve, intento ad ascoltare il suono di un treno, ancora distante, ma che si sta avvicinando. Non c'è alcuna promessa o garanzia che V potrà raggiungere quel “là” dove si trova il “voi/tu” destinatari/o della canzone, anche dovesse salire su quel treno. Ma il convoglio può comunque trasportarlo altrove, lontano dalla stazione innevata in cui aspettava tutto solo. Dunque, mentre riascoltare la canzone ci consente di rimettere in moto il tempo congelato, il suo video musicale dà invece vita e movimento alla dimensione spaziale. Fondamentalmente, “Spring Day” è una canzone riguardo ad una persona bloccata in un punto nello spazio/tempo, materialmente impossibilitata a raggiungere quel “tu/voi” di cui canta. Ma è anche e soprattutto un commovente viaggio emotivo riguardo le difficoltà affrontate per riuscire a superare quel momento di immobilità.

In BEYOND THE STORY : Il Racconto di 10 Anni di BTS – biografia ufficiale della band - SUGA ci parla del motivo per cui ha buttato giù il testo di questa canzone: “Provavo risentimento nei confronti di un/'amicə. Mi mancava un sacco ma non avevo modo di incontrarlə.” Ecco perché nel brano canta, “Sì, ce l'ho con te / Sei sparitə ma non passa giorno in cui io non mi ricordi di te / Ad esser sincero, mi manchi / Ma ho deciso che ti lascerò andare / Fa meno male che odiarti.” Non può più stare con l'amicə – con cui ha speso tanto del suo tempo, in passato –, ma la vita prosegue. E la canzone ritrae proprio questa svolta nella vita di una persona che, poco alla volta, inizia a lasciarsi alle spalle ciò che fino a quel momento non ha fatto che tenere prigioniero il suo cuore, come nella morsa gelida dell'inverno, per proseguire con la propria esistenza. Però, ovviamente, sarebbe impossibile dimenticare completamente il passato, né ci sembra giusto. Gli accordi iniziali e le tastiere sono il punto forte dell'apertura di “Spring Day.” Questi due suoni hanno il ruolo chiave di creare l'atmosfera poetica e melodica della canzone. Ma non appena vengono introdotte le voci dei ragazzi, queste melodie passano in secondo piano e altri suoni finiscono per coprirle. Più si prosegue nella traccia, più sostenuti diventano questi suoni. La melodia accelera fino a diventare un beat costante, andando ad amalgamarsi allo sfondo sonoro che complementa le parti canore dei BTS. Il verso “Il cuore sfreccia attraverso il tempo / Come uno Snowpiercer solitario” ben riassume quella che è la presentazione di “Spring Day”. Il treno menzionato – protagonista della graphic novel e film omonimi – continua ad accelerare senza sosta sul suo tracciato in un freddo glaciale che sembra infinito. Allo stesso modo, il cuore sfreccia solitario attraverso il tempo, continuando a rivangare l'oggetto nonché il momento della perdita subita. Quanta tristezza, rabbia e risentimento deve aver sopportato SUGA, prima di poter finalmente dire “Ti lascerò andare / Fa meno male che odiarti”? Sicuramente deve aver attraversato anche il circolo vizioso del rimpianto seguito dalla ragione e da nuovo rimpianto. SUGA riesce però a sublimare queste emozioni attraverso un linguaggio altamente raffinato. La sua voce esprime serenamente il testo, lasciandosi alle spalle tutto quell'insieme di emozioni sempre più complesse, diametralmente rispecchiate nella multi-forme gamma di suoni che troviamo in “Spring Day.” La sua melodia cattura chi ascolta senza mai concretamente lasciare che le emozioni divaghino liberamente. Quando la voce principale canta il climax “Mi manchi, mi manchi / Quanto ancora dovrò aspettare / Quante altre notti insonni attraversare” il resto segue cantato in una voce bassa e tranquilla. “Spring Day” è incarnazione del silenzioso e dolorosissimo percorso che una persona deve imboccare per trovare pace ed una chiusura alle proprie emozioni—quel complesso male di vivere che non sempre è facile esprimere fino in fondo. Per questo motivo, “Spring Day” e rappresentazione concreta del processo tramite il quale è possibile sublimare la sofferenza in arte, oltre ad essere un resoconto di come l'esistenza umana può diventare arte di per sé. Quando una persona riesce a parlare con tale e tanta calma delle proprie sofferenze, però, non significa necessariamente che sia riuscita ad interiorizzarle e ad accettarle. Semplicemente, questa persona sta facendo il possibile per lasciarsi alle spalle quel reame dell'immobilità a favore di uno in cui il tempo scorre di nuovo – e di farlo senza ferire il prossimo.

Mentre la colonna sonora si chiude con “ti/vi prego, resta/te”, il video si conclude con una nuova ripetizione del ritornello, che ricorda un po' un coro esultante. Il ritornello, che precedentemente aveva ceduto la scena ad altri suoni rimanendone sullo sfondo, riprende dunque il controllo della canzone, ora accompagnato da una chitarra carica di passione. Nel videoclip, i BTS sono fermi di fronte ad un grosso albero. Il treno su cui viaggiavano ormai è lontano e Jimin tiene in mano un paio di scarpe. Nell'ultima scena, vediamo quelle scarpe appese all'albero. La pianta non ha foglie né fiori, ma le sue radici sono saldamente vincolate al suolo. I ragazzi sono scesi da quel treno, che sembrava non doversi fermare mai, e si ergono saldi alla ritrovata terraferma. Non tutti hanno la fortuna di trovare un nuovo approdo da poter chiamare casa. La perdita è un'esperienza tanto più dolorosa perché tende a ripetersi ancora ed ancora nel corso della ripetitiva normalità delle nostre vite. Quindi, mentre il brano “Spring Day” introduce la problematica della perdita e di come la si può fronteggiare e superare, il video musicale ci mostra cosa potremmo trovare alla fine di quel tunnel d'oscurità, ci mostra la luce ed una speranza, ci propone una buona ragione per scendere dal letto al mattino e continuare a vivere. Come nel videoclip, la destinazione verso cui siamo diretti magari non è sempre tangibile, ma possiamo comunque continuare a coltivare quell'albero nei nostri cuori, poco alla volta, giorno dopo giorno. Non ha ancora foglie, ma la nostra esistenza tornerà a germogliare, le radici saldamente immerse nel terreno fertile dei nostri cuori. Certo, un cuore spezzato non può tornare ad essere esattamente quello di prima, ma le piante possono germogliare anche in quel terreno apparentemente secco e pieno di crepe. Finché, nonostante le costanti occhiate lanciate verso il passato, un giorno ci renderemo conto che abbiamo già compiuto un sacco di strada, molta più di quanta avremmo mai potuto immaginare.

I BTS hanno rilasciato “Spring Day” il 13 febbraio 2017, subito dopo l'uscita degli album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life (HYYH) e WINGS, i quali sono considerati la prima grande svolta nella loro carriera. La loro popolarità è cresciuta moltissimo nel 2015 con i due album della serie HYYH, ed i ragazzi hanno poi vinto il premio Artista dell'Anno ai MAMA 2016 con WINGS. Poco dopo il rilascio di YOU NEVER WALK ALONE, in cui è inclusa “Spring Day”, i BTS hanno iniziato a cambiare la traiettoria della musica pop a livello globale. Ed è proprio in questo frangente - quando sono stati investiti di ogni onore possibile ed il loro incredibile futuro ha iniziato a prendere forma – che hanno deciso di gettarsi un'occhiata alle spalle, a tutte le persone lasciate nel loro passato, irraggiungibili. Alcune di queste persone hanno trovato il successo, al pari dei BTS, ma altre non sono più tra noi. “I ciliegi sono in fiore. Anche quest'inverno sta finendo. Mi manchi. Mi manchi.” La fine dell'inverno rappresenta anche il lasciarsi alle spalle i ricordi del passato. Così come il dolore provato da SUGA al ricordo dell'amicə, il verso “Mi manchi” esprime il profondo senso di mancanza nei confronti di qualcuno di ormai irraggiungibile—quelle due parole sono specchio di quanto desideriamo riappropriarci di quei momenti, anche ciò dovesse significare tornare indietro nel tempo. Eppure la realtà non ci lascia altra scelta che guardare avanti e correre. Quando i BTS hanno debuttato, erano ben lungi dall'essere famosi – principalmente perché erano un gruppo idol rappresentato da una piccola etichetta discografica semi-sconosciuta. Prima di guadagnare fama, sono sempre stati sottovalutati ingiustamente e anche dopo, altrettanto ingiustamente criticati. L'unico modo per difendersi era raccogliere quanto più amore possibile, continuare a salire e dimostrare il loro valore. Durante questo processo, innumerevoli sono state le sofferenze accusate, ma hanno continuato a guardare dritto davanti a sé e sono saliti ancor più in alto. La storia del successo dei BTS, come raccontata a partire dalla serie HYYH fino all'album YOU NEVER WALK ALONE, è lo specchio di quanto affrontato da moltə giovani degli ultimi anni '90 e appartenenti alla generazione Z, nello stesso periodo. Era una competizione ed una corsa al successo che ha interessato quasi una generazione intera; alcunə sono sopravvissutə, ma altrə sono rimastə indietro—che si trattasse di idol, studenti impegnati nella preparazione per l'università o giovani alla disperata ricerca di un lavoro decente. A moltə non è neppure stata data l'opportunità di vedere la linea di partenza. HYYH cristallizza le esperienze dei giovani di quegli anni, mentre WINGS ritrae quella parte di gioventù che, dopo aver affrontato quel periodo difficile, ha potuto ritrovarsi. “Spring Day” è una preghiera in ricordo di tuttə coloro che sono scomparsə strada facendo, nonché la forma più pura di conforto che coloro che sono sopravvissutə potessero desiderare. Ancora oggi, coloro che sono arrivatə fin qui, non possono che tornare a fare i conti con le perdite subite. Ma dobbiamo resistere, continuare ad avanzare verso la fine dell'inverno, verso quello spazio e tempo in cui l'albero della nostra esistenza può germogliare, mettere foglie e fiorire di nuovo. “Spring Day” è un'ode dedicata a coloro che hanno accettato il proprio destino e sanno che, nonostante la tristezza ed il senso di nostalgia per il passato ancor sempre coltivato nel proprio cuore, dovranno continuare ad incedere verso il futuro. Riesce a catturare l'essenza stessa di come i coreani conducono le proprie vite, sempre impegnati a correre, gli occhi fissi sul trofeo, mai un attimo di respiro—esperienza, questa, che inevitabilmente non può che portare ad una perdita. E tuttavia tengono duro. Sì, forse qualche lacrima sarà versata lungo il percorso, ma non possono guardare indietro.

È da quando è uscita, 7 anni fa, che “Spring Day” non ha mai lasciato le prime posizioni della classifica giornaliera di Melon – vale a dire la piattaforma musicale più usata in Corea. Come leggiamo in BEYOND THE STORY : Il Racconto di 10 Anni di BTS, RM ha sempre desiderato creare una canzone che possa essere “amata dai coreani per molto molto tempo”, e con “Spring Day” quella speranza si è avverata. Nel corso di questi 7 anni, qualcuno avrà pianto a dirotto ascoltando questo brano a ripetizione, altrə magari l'avranno sentita per la prima volta nel momento in cui si sono decisə a guardare al futuro, pur portando il peso del passato nel cuore. Intanto, in Corea, il significato – concreto e simbolico – della primavera è cambiato, e con esso anche quello di ogni traccia che parli di questa stagione. La primavera è ora sinonimo di aspettative e sogni per un domani migliore, sebbene ancor strettamente interconnessi con i ricordi del passato e delle perdite subite. Ma si può dire che questa sia la prova che tuttə i giovani di allora – BTS compresi – sono ormai cresciutə. La perdita è un'esperienza che, bene o male, tocca tuttə quantə. Abbiamo tuttə rimpianti, certo, ma alcunə non dimenticano e piantano alberi nei loro cuori in ricordo delle persone che non possono o vogliono lasciarsi alle spalle. Nel comeback trailer ‘Boy Meets Evil’, che ha preceduto l'uscita di WINGS, j-hope ha dato prova delle sue rinomate doti di ballerino. Tra una potente mossa e l'altra, l'artista rappa “Mi manca il fiato, chiudo gli occhi su questa realtà distorta, stanotte”. Nel video musicale,

j-hope incarna le difficoltà fronteggiate dalla gioventù nel trovarsi faccia a faccia con le tentazioni umane – e tutto ciò in un periodo in cui i BTS non ricevevano che attacchi, dovevano far fronte ad impegni sempre più serrati e alla responsabilità di salire sempre più in alto. Ma quando lo vediamo in “Spring Day”, è a centro palco – insieme a Jimin – e guida una coreografia di gruppo in stile contemporaneo. I suoi movimenti sono fluidi, privi di interruzioni, esattamente come la canzone che tira dritto pur cullando rimpianti del passato nel cuore. “Spring Day” ha segnato l'inizio di una serie sempre meno sporadica di esibizioni in stile contemporaneo, per i BTS – che ritroveremo, ad es., anche in “Black Swan”. Dopo “Spring Day”, il gruppo si è sdebitato dell'amore ricevuto, attraverso la serie “LOVE YOURSELF”. Questi ragazzi, che sono dovutə crescere a dispetto delle cicatrici loro inflitte, non hanno mai smesso di contemplare e rivisitare quel periodo durante il quale amicə e coetaneə hanno vissuto perdite e le hanno dovute superare. Si sono fatti portatori di questo fardello in prima persona e hanno accolto a braccia aperte le persone incontrate lungo il percorso. Strada facendo, sono diventati adulti. Adulti di buon cuore. “Spring Day” celebra l'ascesa di questa gioventù ferita. E proprio questa canzone, che incarna i ricordi più tristi della giovinezza, è diventata l'inno universale di un'intera generazione ed epoca.

NOTES: hi! i'm so sorry for being away for so long! i have an explanation here if you wanna see what's been happening BUT NOWW i've come back for this new special birthday + anniversary month chapter! this is basically the partners chapter but revised + more scenes. i was gonna just combine it w part two but it was hecka long and i hate extremely long chapters. oh yea and della's dance in bite me includes a girlie now (but still has a man) please let me know what you think by sending asks/commenting. i look forward to them while writing and they really make my day <3 

Della's hand injury at the start of 2023 has caused an obvious shift within Enhypen's dynamics. The fear of another relapse has caused the members to grow increasingly protective and wary of the girl, doing everything they can to get the love of their life back. Displaying it through their constant supervision when Della is in the kitchen, to being assured that she has taken her antidepressants, to an overall improvement in communication to ensure that her negative thoughts don't boil over.

Fortunately, the slump went away faster than they anxiously expected. Following the tour and her plastic surgery, Della had regained her usual self just in time for her birthday and their two-year anniversary. As their bond grows stronger by the day, the eight found themselves back in their honeymoon phase— practically inseperable.

Then the time came for a comeback.

It would have been ten months since their last one, and the group ready to go back into their busy routine with barely any rest but at least looked cute while doing it. They were excited for the change, and even more thrilled to find out that the concept would be something sexy. However, when they were briefed about the potential couple choreography, all seven boys froze collectively.

"We have to see how this goes. This is uncharted territory for us, so we're not sure if it's the best idea," the creative director explained. "BTS' Jimin incorporated mixed dancers, and the response was pretty good. However, 'Like Crazy' wasn't a full-on couple dance, so it might be different this time."

Jungwon, who was sitting to the left of Della, immediately held her hand under the desk, while the other six stole glances in her direction. Their minds were mostly occupied with how their girlfriend would react, as opposed to fully sinking in what such concept would entail for them.

"You'll hear the song in a bit, but since the key point is about a man doting on the woman who turned him into a vampire, we are going to have Della be the killing part," another director continued. "You'll have slightly different lyrics from the boys and you'll have an overall more seductive look."

"Thank you," Della bowed in her seat. "Is it altered to be more feminine?" she asked.

"No, no. You'll be singing from the girl's perspective. So if we look at the next page—" the sound of papers flipping echoed through the room. "Here, for Della's part in the teaser, we're gonna have you bite an actor— of course, not literally," the director's comment made a few people snicker. "—and turn him into a vampire. So, essentially, you'll be singing to two people: the woman who turned you and the man that you turned."

"Ahh, understood," Della nodded calmly. "Thank you," she said once again before caressing the back of Jungwon's tense hand. She glanced over at the others to find most of them looking at their sheet with a hard gaze. She could additionally see Jake playing with the corner of his and hear Jay's foot tapping on the floor. 

"Thank you for the question, now back to the previous page—" another round of paper-flipping. "Now given that backstory, Della's partner in this comeback will be the only male—" the comment made Ni-ki choke on the coffee he was sipping. "Are you alright?"

"Ye– yeah! My– apo– apologies." he said in between coughs, turning his body away from the table while Sunoo patted his back.

"Like we said, we don't know how this is gonna turn out. We're sort of taking a gamble by doing this type of concept, but it's certainly going to be different and memorable."

The car ride home was tense. The members made an effort to conceal their emotions in the office, but in the privacy of the car, they saw no need to do so, and thus, they didn't. Though the discussion had to wait until they reached the dorm, as they needed all seven boys to be there. Della, who already knew the reason behind the tension, just calmly played with her phone and hummed to their upcoming title track.

"You really like the song, huh?" Jay commented as he entered the combination to their dorm. Since they had freshly heard it, all Della kept doing was humming the tune and repeating the words 'just come kiss me and bite me',which only heightened the tension among the three boys in her car. She could have chosen any other parts of the song and instead went for that specific line.

"It's one of my favorites of ours. It's so good," Della stopped her humming to reply with a grin. "We're ho—"

"Group meeting!" Jungwon immediately called out.

"As expected," Della muttered to herself. The four new arrivals swiftly put their shoes away and made headed to the living room, where the other four were already waiting. "Hello—"

"Lala, how are you feeling?" Jungwon wasted no time in asking. The question that all seven boys have been meaning to ask for the past two hours.

"I feel great," she replied with a soft smile, sitting on the couch armrest. "The song's great! The concept's great! I really can't wait for it."

"Is there... anything you dislike about the concept?" Sunghoon asked with a suspicious tone.

"Honestly..." the boys all looking at her with curious, yet almost eager eyes. "I think it's our best concept yet. It really represents Enhypen," her words made them collectively sigh in relief. "Were you expecting me to hate it?"

"No, it's just— like..." Sunoo struggled to find the words to explain the situation. "We were worried about the couple concept thing. The couple dance plus all the acting."

"Why were you worried about that?" Della furrowed her eyebrows. "Are you expecting me to be jealous?"

"No!" the seven said simultaneously in different tones. "We were just worried." Della couldn't help but scoff and giggle at her boyfriends.

"You guys have gotten so used to being a group that you often say things in unison," she covered the bottom half of her face, unable to contain her giggles. "So cute!"

"Wait— Lala, stay focused— are you seriously, seriously fine with everything?" Sunoo placed a hand on her knee to grab her attention.

"I'm totally cool! I don't mind you guys dancing with girls at all!" Della said with wide eyes and a genuine tone. "Guys, I used to train in YG— dancing or acting with the opposite sex is nothing! It's all professional," the mention of her old company itself suddenly provided the answer to their question.

"But the concept is quite sexy. We won't just be dancing next to each other, it's gonna be a couple dance with hand touching, at least," Jake explained.

"Honey, have you seen groups like Winner and BigBang? With Riki still being a baby, I doubt any of the parts will be suggestive— the worst thing they can do is have you hold onto the dancer's waist or something," she gave the Aussie a knowing look. "This is the art of dancing! We're exploring new stuff that fourth gen hasn't done before!" her eyes shone with every word she spoke, clearly showing her enthusiasm for the concept.

"I mean... on top of that, we don't love the idea too," Sunghoon spoke up, trying to be gentle. "We— or at least I wouldn't want to dance with another girl, let alone seeing you dance with another guy," Heeseung and Jay pointed to him in agreement while the others nod.

"Aww, darling, it's all professional, I promise!" Della made her way to the Sunghoon and released his crossed arms. "I'm only dancing with him for a little bit! Barely half a minute, I'm sure," she linked her arm with his and stared up at him with puppy eyes.

"It still ain't fun," he muttered, gulping down at the sight of her.

"Della, it's not that we don't trust you or anything," Heeseung sighed. "You have guy friends, for Christ's sake, we really do trust you! It's just... it's just..."

"It just fucking sucks," Jay bluntly completed for him. "—and we really don't wanna do this couple dance thing either. We know it's gonna hurt you."

"I'm not hurt, honest!" Della straightened her posture and widened her eyes. "I mean, we can always try to reason with the team if you guys are rea—" her idea was immediately cut by a string of 'no's.

"Forget about us, we'll be fine!" the other six wanted to smack their maknae on the head for lying. No, they will certainly not be fine. "But you! We don't want to hurt you or anything!" at least his other point was correct.

"I'm not hurt! Look, guys—" Della sighed, sitting down in betweenn Ni-Ki and Jay on the sofa and held their hands. "I'm not gonna lie, I might get a little jealous, but just a little! I'm not gonna be 'hurt', I swear! Just this conversation alone is enough to assure me that you all are seriously the best boyfriends in the world," she said with utmost sincerity. "I have nothing to worry about and— I know it's easier said than done but so should you. I'm completely obsessed with you guys! I don't want anyone else"

"Well, there are seven of us," Jungwon blurted out without thought. "I'm sorry!" his eyes instantly filled with regret while his hand went up to cover his mouth. "I didn't mean it like that. That sounds so wrong, I'm sor—"

"It's okay, darling. I'm not offended," Della got up from her seat and ruffled his hair. "Plus, you're absolutely right! I have seven boyfriends, I don't need any more! Especially when you're all so perfect." she placed a kiss on Jungwon's cheek before heading towards the kitchen. The seven boys all looked at each other in flabbergast.

"Are you absolutely, positively certain you're okay with the couple thing?!" Jay called out.

"Absolutely! I trust you guys! Best boyfriends ever, I tell you!"

The boys eyed each other as the same thought crossed their minds; one that they could never say aloud. "She gets jealous and upset over fan ships with idols we barely (or never) even talk to, yet she seems completely fine when we act with a girl for the screen?"

When the day came to finally learn the choreography, the boys were evidently really tense. They didn't even bother to conceal it in hopes that they might magically cancel the idea due to lack of chemistry. Little did they know that that is what the company prefers; for them to not 'stray from Engenes' hearts.'

The overall lesson came out smoothly, with everyone remaining professional and focused at the task at hand. Yet that was also because Della had not even touched her male dance partner. That part would only come towards the end of the song, on the second chorus, as Della dances with a girl on the first half. It was easy for the boys to cast their jealousy aside, but it certainly wasn't when the man finally came along.

"Della, your partner, Ingyu, as you know," the choreographer introduced the two out of formality. "Ingyu, Della," both Della and Ingyu politely bowed, despite already knowing each other from earlier. "Do you think you can do the moves from memory?" the choreographer grinned at the girl.

"Maybe...? Hopefully?" Della nervously grinned back, causing both the choreographer and Ingyu to chuckle.

Everyone had practiced and (essentially) mastered the chorus dance, but Della needed to be taken aside to learn the part switch she has with her male partner. It was an entirely new set for her, whereas several of the members just had to change partners.

This also provided an opportunity for them to fully observe their girlfriend dancing with another man. How lucky were they to have their full attention on the session they dread the most.

"Let's see what you've got," the choreographer stepped back to observe. "Five, six, seven, eight— it's you and me in this world..." Della did a great job mirroring the moves. Although some details in her leg movements were missing, her upper body ones were practically all correct.

"Damn, we just had to have a break while they are doing their part," Jay mumbled to his fellow members. "If it had happened earlier, we would have had something to focus on. But now it's right up on our faces."

"They have great chemistry, don't they?" Heeseung scoffed with a sardonic smile. Their eyes followed as the choreographer instructed Della on how much she needed to bend, having her hold onto Ingyu for support. "Wow, such amazing chemistry," he sarcastically remarked.

"Did I ever tell you about the time I asked her about the chemistry between my partner and I?" Sunoo asked Heeseung, who replied with a shake of his head. "I asked her how she would feel if I had good dance chemistry with my partner, and she just said, 'That's great! You should switch partners if the dance chemistry isn't there.' Like, what the fuck?"

"Ahh, you mentioned that to me," Jungwon reminded him. "Della really isn't jealous—she even encouraged Sunoo-hyung to make eye contact," he pointed at Sunoo.

"Really?!" Jake's eyes widened. "Even in front of the cameras?!"

"Uh!" Jungwon and Sunoo nodded with wide eyes. "I think as long as everything remains professional, she's completely fine."

"Well can someone tell her that we're not completely fine?" Sunghoon really tried to not glare at the couple but it wasn't like he was the only one.

It took around fifteen minutes for Della to get all the moves down. While it wasn't long by any means, the boys felt like the session ran through a hour. Instead of making the most out of their break, they were using up their energy on the glares that they sent the couple's way. 

Both the choreographer and Ingyu (and certainly Della) could feel the potential holes that were burning through the male dancer's skin, yet they decide to brush it off since it doesn't appear to affect Della's performance. They always knew that the Enha boys had a crush on the girl anyway.

The keyword was professional, and as long as everyone remains that then all should be well.

"Are you finish?" Sunghoon asked Della as she finally made her way over for her break.

"Yup," she gave a thumbs up. "Thankfully, it wasn't difficult."

While they were all feeling jealous, they knew that Della had done everything they asked of her and there was wasn't much she could do. So they resorted to the only outlet available for them to express their emotions; teasing and poking fun at her.

"Was it fun?" Sunoo playfully glared at her with a pout.

"Aish, it's all professional," she playfully pushed him.

"So it was fun?" Sunoo pestered further, causing Della to scoff and mutter a "no it wasn't."

"'It's all professional,' but you were fully leaning on his chest?" Jungwon teased as well.

"It was no different from you!" she protested with a point to him. "—with all of you! We maintained our distance and everything."

"Our distance was like this—" Jake opened his arms wide in exaggeration. "While your distance was like this," he demonstrated by getting very close to Jay.

"No, it wasn't!" Della stomped her feet repeatedly. "You guys are exaggerating!"

"In that case, show us how it was," Ni-ki stood up from the floor and got closer to Della. "Demonstrate with me," he smirked.

"Eyy!" the members teased, impressed by their maknae's smooth flirting. "Go on! Show us!"

"Aish, you seven," Della complained with a roll to her eyes but complied anyway. "It's you and me in this world..." she sang monotonously and lazily repeated the moves that she just learned.

"Wah! Look at the large gap when it's with me!" Ni-ki protested to his hyungs. "Wah... seriously..." he pinched his nose bridge and shook his head.

"What the—" Della's confusion was immediately cut off by the members simultaneously jestering her. Choruses of "wah Della!", "how could you do that?!" "with our maknae too!" and "can't believe you play favourites," ran through the circle, making whoever else in the room glance at them with an amused expression.

"What are you talking about?!"

"Riki, riki, what do you think of this? So everyone disappears out of the frame except for you," Della explained her vision, using her hands to mimic curtains opening. "All eyes are on you and then Sunghoon-oppa emerges!" her hand then dramatically raised as if she was Thanos. "Brave heart— pam, pam, pam!" she said Ni-ki's line while popping her chest. "Then you and Sunghoon-oppa couple dance on his part!" the pen in her hand dropped as if it was a microphone and she had just said something life changing. 

"Couple dance?" Ni-ki raised an eyebrow. The two dancers were ecstatic when the choreographer had asked them to take part in the process. They have wanted this for so long and were finally given the responsibility of the pre-chorus and second verse. The pre-chorus practically screams Ni-ki's name so it was a no-brainer for the maknae to take the former. 

They were experimenting together but didn't interfere with each other's section, simply situated in an empty practice room with snacks and their phones playing the recently recorded song. It almost reminded them of the time when they had their first kiss.

"Not literally, but like... a pair dance, y'know? Something like Given-Taken," Della grinned. "Then Heeseung-oppa emerges! Then I emerge! Then everyone gathers and emerges—"

"What is with you and people emerging?" Ni-ki laughed. He was feeling a little too happy to have his girlfriend all to himself whilst doing the activity they love the most (especially since said activity was recently ruined by the couple dance). It was evident in his clinginess and the shine in his eyes. 

"It's the drama! The vampire! The darkness!" the younger could only laugh more, letting his head drop on his girlfriend's lap. 

"I'm sure you know what suits the mood, and I think the emergence thing sounds great," Ni-ki can't help but hum when Della's fingers tangled themselves in his hair. "I'm doing something like this; come here and get some—" with his eyes still closed and basking in the soothing sensation, he brought his hands up to form the first part of his original dance. "Something with a cool vibe, y'know?" 

「大好き」 Della smiled softly. 「まじ力のスタイル」 she got close to his face to place a sideways kiss on his lips. [daisuki: i love it, maji riki no sutairu: it's seriously riki's style]

「ありがとう」Ni-ki muttered out before closing the gap to deepen the kiss. [arigatou: thanks]

Della and her boyfriends wouldn't call herself a jealous person. However, what she definitely is, is an anxiety-filled, insecure person. Otherwise known as a jealous person. 

But she's not envious! She simply overthinks that some girls just suit the boys better than her and that they deserve better. While she's not jealous of the boys acting with Park Jiwon for the trailer, she had to admit that she was a little nervous before the shoot.

'What if they look great together? Especially Sunghoon since he has a lot of scenes with her,' she recognises that she's overthinking it but she really can't prevent herself from doing so.

'Sunghoon and one of your close friends look great together, but they don't give off couple vibes,' she reminded herself. 'You look great with them too, Lala. Give yourself some credit, you bad bitch.'

With the help of her self-pep talk (and antidepressants), her nervousness subdued quick. It also didn't take long for it to completely wash away, resulting from Jiwon being a massive shipper of Enha as a group. It was evident in how she giggled to herself whenever Della and the boys did anything close to being couple-like.

Furthermore, she had caught Jiwon pouting to her manager, questioning; "Is that all we're getting? Della being disappointed in Sunghoon and they don't even hug?" or along those lines.

Needless to say, there was no reason for Della to feel jealous, and that almost annoyed Mister Park Sunghoon himself.

"You're seriously, seriously not jealous?" Sunghoon asked when they had a moment to themselves on set.

"No? Why would I be?" Della said with a borderline sassy tone. The boys have been walking around eggshells with Jiwon and have constantly asked the same questions to Della. A rotation between "are you sure?" "is it really okay?" "aren't you jealous?" and "are you feeling okay?" Although she appreciates the gesture and thinks it's incredibly sweet of them, she has gotten tired of saying the same things over and over again.

"Not even the slightest? Babe, the storyline literally includes me defending her more than yo—" 

"And what are you gonna do if I said that I was?" she cut him off, moving closer to him with a low voice.

"I– I mean," he stuttered at the look on her face and sudden close proximity. Even after two years, there are still moments when he finds Della intimidating. "Just wanted to make sure you were okay—"

"And what are you gonna do if I said that I wasn't?" she practically repeated. "You want me to congratulate you?" an eyebrow was raised to challenge him further.

"No! That's not what I meant!" his eyes widened in panic. "I– I was just– a little—" he did have an reason, but the addition of Della's hand pushing his bangs to the side had distracted him from whatever it was he was trying to say.

"Why don't you relay this to the others as well, hm?" she then brushed her fingers on his cheekbones. "I am rarely ever jealous because, at the end of the day, when you act out those scenes or record our songs, I'm the one who's on your mind. You don't think of Jiwon, your dancers, or even Sooha or Engenes. You think of me," she lets out a smirk when he appeared to be in a daze.

"The lyrics that you sing in your songs? Those are all for me."

"I get to have a couple dance with you?!" Heeseung exclaimed when Della broke the news. "Sweet! Nice!"

She really couldn't help it. She just had to reveal to the guy that she sneaked in a tiny pair dance for the two of them. It wasn't much in her eyes but it's more than enough for Heeseung.

"You have to show me! Please!" Heeseung got up from his bed, ready to replicate whatever it was that Della came up with. "It's definitely gonna be the choreo, right?! Like they won't ask you to change it or anything?" Della couldn't help but chuckle at how adorable the older was. His eyes sparkled with eager and hope, incredibly ready to perform his girlfriend's arrangement in pride.

"Nope. Absolute free to do whatever I want," she grinned before standing up as well. "All you do is kneel..." she kneeled on the floor to demonstrate, with Heeseung following suit. "Then rise... walk... then this," what he had to do wasn't difficult at all, so he would definitely still be able to sing live. "That's it."

"And yours?" Della smiled and made her way behind him. It was a tight fit, but the two can definitely make it work with how simple the moves are.

"Go ahead."

"'Come to me, make it right,'" Heeseung could feel himself get even more excited when Della placed her hand under his chin. "'Please connect me again,' woah!" his eyes widened at her hands running down his arms. 

"'Devour you,'" Della whispered, leaving goosebumps on his skin. Her face got close to his neck while her right hand mimicked a claw on his shoulder blade. Knowing Heeseung, this move should drive him insane.

"No fricking way," within a flash, Della was back onto the bed with Heeseung lips on the side of her neck. "Gosh, I love this vampire concept."

"Gosh, I hate this vampire concept," Heeseung rumbled under his breath.

"It was all fun and games until we realise what a vampire concept entails," Jake mumbled with crossed arms. 

"Yeah, and it's whatever this shit is," Jay huffed, openly glaring at the unfolding scene without a care.

Della was in the midst of filming the scene where she wakes up and bites a passerby. For budget conveniences (since his face wouldn't be visible anyway), the actor was none other than her male backup dancer, Ingyu.

It seems that, although she had made her lack of jealousy clear, her reasons did not resonate with her men. Even when they implement her advice, they still felt that red, hot jealousy. 

"If his face ain't even on the video, then can't one of us do it? Seriously..." Sunoo rolled his eyes to avoid looking at Della leaning into Ingyu's neck. 

"I know right?" Jungwon and Jay briefly replied, shifting their eyes to the monitor and giving them a closer look at the scene.

"Oh my God!" the boys (with the exception of Sunoo, who was still avoiding the performance), held a shocked look when Della's pretend bite appeared very realistic.

The segment is definitely different from that of Jay's and Sunghoon's. With Della being the one to initiate the bite, the focus is on her face instead of the partner's. The audience could see her laziness-laced body with eyes holding a convincing hunger to them, making it look like she was an actual starved vampire. She looks incredibly alluring, all while looking at another man.

"Oh great, she's amazing at acting too," after a quick glance back, Sunoo let out another eye roll. "Does she always have to give it her all? She should've half assed it," he spat out. 

"Sunoo-ya," Heeseung and Jungwon laughed while the other four snorted with grins on their faces. 

"You're gonna get us in trouble with that language," Jay chuckled.

"I wasn't screaming it or anything— I'm just saying what you all are thinking," Sunoo shrugged innocently. "You three are way louder than me without even saying anything" he gestured to Heeseung, Jay and Jungwon, additionally giving them a pointed look. The others know they can't disagree, as the trio really placed their heart on their sleeves this time.

"I don't fucking get it. Any one of us could really act this scene, I swear," Jungwon huffed out with a sarcastic smile. He placed his hands in his pockets, turning his body around to avoid looking any further. "Seven boys and they went with someone else for fucking budget reasons when they don't need to pay us fuck all for that scene alone. It's like they're doing this on purpose just so his name is on the fucking credits and Engenes won't ship us or—" 

"Woah, woah!" Heeseung and Jake cut him off from his tangent. Jay and Sunoo's eyes simply widened while Ni-ki and Sunghoon held him back as if he was going to fight.

"You need to have a talk with Della or something," Sunghoon pat his left shoulder in attempt to calm him down. On his right, the youngest did a similar gesture by massaging the tense area.

"Or your therapist..."

"A little birdie told me you need to let things out," fortunately, since Della's part was the last shoot of the day, Jungwon's sour mood did not interfere with their work. It also gave them the opportunity to talk in the fully private hotel room. 

Jungwon only scoffed out, keeping his arms crossed as he sat on the bed. The man himself doesn't fully understand why he was so upset. The other boys had quickly calmed themselves— unbeknownst to him, it was because they saw how angry their leader was, yet he remained with a scowl for majority of the time. 

"Who?" he avoided eye contact when he muttered, afraid to raise his voice at the girl.

"It doesn't even matter because I can tell with my eyes closed," Della mirrored his body language but remained standing before him and leaning on the desk behind her. She has always been nervous whenever any one of the boys are mad at her, but Jungwon is probably the most intimidating. His leader energy is incredible.

"I just don't understand why they need Ingyu to act when there are seven other men who can do it," he went straight to the point. "If his face isn't even showing then any one of us could've done it! Heck— even the director could use his own neck! They couldn't have one of us to do it?!" as he went on, his voice started to raise a little in passion.

Della only stood there with an occasional nod, listening to the tangent that the other members have already heard. He talked nonstop for a few minutes, leaving Della room to ponder through her words.

She noticed that he kept repeating points like��'any one of the members could do it,' 'the bite could've been even more realistic,' and 'why they would want you to imitate a bite on another man.' It all finally clicked to her when Jungwon said, "They scrapped the kiss mark for the jacket shoot and now this? They're definitely keeping us apart on purpose."

"Jungwonie?" she grinned mischievously, to which he stopped and replied with a hum. "You're so cute," she didn't give him much time to react, as she had already hovered above him to connect their lips.

"Wait, Lala—" the younger was certainly not complaining, but he wished that Della would say a bit more than that, especially after he went on and on.

"You want more neck kisses, don't you?" she grinned once again. "You felt special during the jacket shoot and want that again, right? And you're jealous because the concept was scrapped for you yet another man got it. Am I right?"

Jungwon blinked slowly, taking in the observation that the mind reader had made. He didn't even know that he was feeling that way but it all makes sense. His emotions weren't even specifically directed to Ingyu; it's towards a man who wasn't him. He would feel the same if the team had chosen any other member. 

A rare occurrence for Jungwon, but definitely not impossible. As much as he loves his best friends and the relationship, he did originally want Della all to himself.

A giggle interrupted his train of thoughts, and when Della asked for a confirmation, all he could do was nod in embarrassment. She let out another giggle before closing the gap between them once again.

"Don't worry, Wonie. I'll give you a million neck kisses if that's what you want."

well how should i put this… thank you all so much for joining along on this journey with della, the boys, (alice) and i

i’ve always wanted to be an author yet any original work i’ve made just didn’t click to me. i contemplated if i should actually write a fanfic or just keep these ideas in my head. i just couldn’t stop thinking about della and finally decided ‘fuck it’

i remember getting crazy excited when i saw my first like and constantly rereading the first comment i got. seeing the milestones i have now just seems unbelievable. even until now, i still can’t believe that you guys like my writing and i’m incredibly grateful

i hope i can continue to write and develop della well (and hopefully even better). i never say this to y’all and whenever someone says ‘i love you’ i only reply with a thank you or a 🤍 but i love you guys. thank you so much for helping me escape reality when i need it 🤍

Avengers : Kang Dinasty Fan-Team

So bene che prima dell'arrivo del nuovo film sulla nuova squadra degli Avengers, ci vorrà un bel po' di tempo e la messa in scena di altri film e serie tv targate Marvel.

Ho pensato però intanto a quale potrebbe essere la prima nuova formazione degli eroi più potenti della terra. Una formazione, quella degli Avengers che cambierà sicuramente e ancora nel corso del secondo nuovo film dedicato ovvero : Avengers SECRET WARS.

Tra i vari nuovi personaggi alla fine ho scelto loro nonostante abbia qualche dubbio su Carol Danvers e Stephen Strange.

Carol Danvers: La prima seppure non abbia ancora avuto modo di brillare pienamente a causa dello scarso screen-time, l'ho sempre vista, anche per sua stessa ammissione più come una protettrice dello spazio che delle terrà.

Magari nel film di prossima uscita THE MARVELS, cambierà i propri piani e il suo status quo.

Stephen Strange: Dall'altra parte, Strange. Personaggio che è stato abbastanza centrale nelle vicende dell'MCU nelle ultime fasi della saga dell'infinito eppure nonostante due film e un aria di mentore, non lo vedo come il nuovo Tony Stark.

Restano Sam Wilson, come il nuovo Cap.America che potrebbe essere lui il nuovo leader del gruppo andando ad occupare definitivamente il posto di Steve Rogers anche in catena di comando e simbolo del paese.

Peter Parker, l'amichevole Spider-Man di quartiere che per il momento con una "nuova identità segreta" e uno dei pilastri degli Avengers che saranno.

Ant-Man (Scott Lang) che ha affrontato Kang e scoperto il regno quantico, motivo per cui avrebbe una connessione e il giusto inserimento.

She Hulk, semplicemente per il fatto che, non credo utilizzeranno Bruce Banner di nuovo come un Avengers ma per progetti futuri di stand alone.

Queste sono le mie fan-scelte che potrebbero essere tranquillamente rimescolate avendo lasciato fuori al momento Wanda, Shuri, Shang-Chi, Kate Bishop ma ci sarà tempo per formare i NEW AVENGERS.

I know that before the release of the new film about the new Avengers team, it will take some time and the production of other Marvel movies and TV series. However, in the meantime, I've been thinking about what could be the first lineup of Earth's mightiest heroes. This lineup of the Avengers will undoubtedly change throughout the course of the second new film dedicated to Avengers SECRET WARS.

Among the various new characters, I've chosen them, although I have some doubts about Carol Danvers and Stephen Strange. Despite not having had the opportunity to fully shine due to limited screen time, I've always seen Carol more as a protector of space than of Earth, even based on her own admission.

Perhaps in the upcoming film THE MARVELS, she will change her plans and her status quo.

On the other hand, there's Strange. He has been quite central to the events of the MCU in the later stages of the Infinity Saga. However, despite two films and a mentor-like presence, I don't see him as the new Tony Stark.

Remaining are Sam, as the new Captain America, who could potentially be the new leader of the group, permanently filling the shoes of Steve Rogers both in terms of command and as a symbol of the country.

Peter Parker, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, currently with a "new secret identity," will also be one of the pillars of the Avengers.

Ant-Man (Scott Lang), who has faced Kang and discovered the quantum realm, would have a connection and a rightful place in the team.

She-Hulk, simply because I believe Bruce Banner won't be utilized as an Avenger again, but rather for future standalone projects.

These are my fan-picks, which could easily be reshuffled, considering that Wanda, Shuri, Shang-Chi, and Kate Bishop have been left out for now. However, there will be time to form the NEW AVENGERS.
