X-MEN RED FINALE ANALYSIS AND THE FINALE of 2023!

The end of the series is here 😭 Let's get into it. Storm was part of a spell that used her as an Avatar of Life to bring to life another living Island, Kaorak, to battle Arrakko. Elsewhere those who believe in Storm's vision battle the remaining players and armies one last time!

So, the magic circle, for this battle, is being maintained by Apocalypse, Sunfire-Red Root, a compelled Vulcan, and a Daemon free of Annihilation's thrall. Apocalypse calls this a battle of life and against life. Genesis, like Storm, is a literal embodiment and weilder of life through her powers and magic - again, just like Storm. The battle has always been philosophical. Genesis goal is to create and maintain the life of heirarchy with her at the top, and everyone below must fight to be considered as strong and worthy in this society, while the weak are worthless subjects who serve the strong. Strength is only maintained through endless war. Storm's goal is freedom. She wants a life for Arakko free of the control, endless battle, and violent enforcement of heirarchy. Storm wants a coalition among all, so all can thrive.

This difference of idealogy is reflected in their battle. Genesis is fighting to win strength against strength (using Annihilation's power to manipulate minds to avoid being hurt) while Storm is aiming for freedom. When Genesis attacks Storm, Storm easily defends herself and throws lightning. Genesis (and Annihilation) mistakingly view this as a loss, but Storm then aims for and severs Genesis' grip on the White Sword that enthralls its weilder and ressurecting armies.

One of the compelling parts of the battle is that Storm tells Genesis this battle only ends in the destruction of Arakko and its people. Genesis responds by challenging Storm's character directly. is Storm truly an omega? Is she truly limitless if she isn't willing to destroy her opponents, her people, and her land? As Genesis then commands the fungi in the human body to eat Storm from within, in that moment of perceived weakness, Annihilation reaches out to offer Storm power to create peace which ends in the most Storm way possible. She lets it speak and uses that time as an opportunity to destroy it once and for all.

Storm never wanted or needed power and control. She never wanted to compell Arakko to conform to her will and vision. She wanted freedom. Freedom for her people and everyone else to choose peace, to choose to thrive. That is her vision. Annihilation offered nothing. As Storm battle Genesis, Arakkii fought other Arakkii for their future. Now, with Genesis defeated and Annihilation destroyed, the challenge is won and done. A new Okkarra is born from the new and old, literally and spiritually. Genesis punishment was exile to Arrakko's moon...occupied by Orchis.

Overall, this was a great conclusion to the Genesis war and X-men. I hope you liked my insight into the battle. Storm is going to be seen next in the Ressurection of Magneto mini series!

Storm is staring at the Uranos Trigger Cube as the Eternal still prattles on about deciding whether she could activate to use him as a weapon to fight Genesis (Apocalypse's wife). However, because of his unpredictable destructive nature; Uranos would not only destroy Genesis' army, he would also kill the brainwashed Arakki mutants (e.g. Sobunar, White Sword and so on), turn on Storm's army or even hurt/kill civilians so in other words, Uranos would kill anyone in his path until he stops when he reaches his time limit. Then, Storm is interrupted by Jon Ironfire who wants to activate the Uranos Trigger because his former comrades of Arakko had been swayed to Genesis' side and he needs to use him to win in the war. Storm refuses to let him do it by destroying the Uranos Trigger with her lightning bolt. Jon Ironfire gets upset with her for destroying his chance to use the Eternal weapon for "easy victory" so he walks away in a huff. Sunspot comes in and gives Storm a grim news. According to Sunspot, Nova (Richard Rider) had survived Pestilence's Poison Arrow thanks to the nova force keeping him alive but he is in a lot of pain that he shut himself out and had retreated deep into his mind. Just then, an Arakki mutant interrupts the two mutants by proclaiming that Apocalypse has returned. As Horseman Death reaches out to Apocalypse, he is impressed to hear that his son had not only chose Storm's side, he kept his sense of honor. Even though Death told his father that he killed his sister, Pestilence, he doesn't care about his daughter's death. Though to be fair for Apocalypse, Pestilence nearly killed both Apocalypse and Rictor with her poison arrows back then in 'X of Swords' storyline. Storm approaches Apocalypse and asks if he's not standing with Genesis. Apocalypse replies that he will not stand against Genesis but he won't stand aside either. He says Arakko needs and deserves more than Genesis offers. It needs magic. It needs Storm.

Apocalypse brings Storm to the carved out magic circle where Vulcan, Orc the demon and the hooded figure are. The hooded figure reveals the hood. It's Sunfire! Storm asks if he was able to rescue Redroot and he says more than that. Sunfire has Redroot grown onto his chest and according to him, the Arakki plant mutant has been keeping him alive and if she gets removed, he would die. The mutants in the magic circle represent the elements - Sunfire-Redroot for Earth, Orc the demon represent air, Apocalypse represents water, Vulcan represents fire and lastly, Storm has to be in the center of the magic circle that represents all kinds of elements. Apocalypse pulls Vulcan to the designated spot. Before Vulcan could start yelling on his tirade, Apocalypse starts the magic ritual and Storm channels the magic energy.

Meanwhile, Sobunar and Genesis are on the island watching the battles from afar until they see a giant monster approaching them. The giant monster is Kaorak and also, Storm is riding on it. Looks like shit is going down between Storm and Genesis....

Luna and Tetsou cuddle on sofa.  He asks her on a date since they haven’t been out for a long time and going to the student union once doesn’t count.

So much for privacy.  Brother Hugo invites himself to their table.

Tetsuo caresses Luna’s cheek and tells Luna he is going to sing for her.

A crowd forms around Tetsuo as he sings his heart out.

After the song, Tetsuo kisses Luna’s hand.  Even Brother Hugo couldn’t ruin this date.  Gold stars all around!

The Evillious Chronicles Discord is open to Tumblr!

​So what is this?

Awhile ago PixelizedChell on Tumblr (also known as the admin of the Evillious Shower Thoughts blog made a Discord chat for Evillious Chronicles. It was put on Tumblr, and under a timed invite link which garnered a little attention. But now we've done more things to it and expanded it, and we feel that it's ready to accomodate more people!

Is there any reason why you should join?

Well, it's an Evillious Chronicles chatroom basically for one. If you wanna talk Evillious, there's gonna be lots of people here to do so. Among other things we have is:

Games to play with others, and places where you can listen to music, set up games, and share media with others. Movie nights, game nights, kaorake nights, and more!

A chat for otherkin who are interested in finding others from Evillious Chronicles, and getting to chat about kinstuff with only other otherkin!

Got fanart and fanwork? Go ahead and display them here.

There's multiple channels for Evillious Chronicles discussion: from the dirty, to the droll, to the deep discussion of what could come next in the series.

Need to talk about another series like Yuri on Ice, Hamilton, and more? We got channels to cover that as well! As well as a spoiler room so that you can avoid spoiler content while talking about it (Unless you want to spoil yourself, then dig in.)

Is there anything else I should know before popping in?

We have a number of admins around to assist as needed, and to manage any drama that arises. Please know that we do not accept any sort of hate and discrimination against different groups in here.

There's a chat for triggering content, when you join please go to the chat and look inside at the list pinned to the top to avoid discussing topics that might be triggering to some, if you do please talk about it in the trigger chat.

To discuss things such as politics, there is an optional controversial chat that you are free to give yourself.

When you first join not all chats will be open, many roles are self-toggleable, and you can simply add to yourself any role you want to unlock the associated chat. ​If you are uncomfortable giving yourself a role for any reason, feel free to message an admin with the role you want and we'll be happy to add it to you!​

This server will possibly have quite a few people, and the otherkin chat is self toggleable and open to all otherkin. For those who are sensitive of doubles please keep that in mind before giving yourself the otherkin role and proceeding into the chat. ​If you have a suggestion that could be used to ease this, feel free to suggest it to the admins! We'd love to have a great environment for everyone.

That goes as a rough standard, don't feel bothered about approaching the staff to suggest things!

We are considering making the chat hospitable in multiple languages, and at the moment are testing out Spanish translation and have a admin fluent in the language, so even if English isn't your strongest you are still free and welcome to visit!

X-men Red #17: The Avatar of Life!

Let's get straight into it: Storm is the magic. Apocalypse returns clearly with a plan to provide an opportunity for Arrakkii to choose liberation, which Storm offers. Storm, prior to Apocalypse return, is faced with an opportunity that impacts the outcome of the war: Uranos. He offers guaranteed and absolute victory, but absolute death of Genesis and those loyal to her. Storm's goal isn't death. It's choosing to live and having the freedom of choice. So, she chooses.

In a fit of desperation, Jon Ironfire looks to end the war or his life on his terms. Apocalypse returns and acknowledges his approval of his son, Death, fighting with Storm's ideological faction, who he dubs as the honor Arrakko. Now, we learn Apocalypse has been gathering people, elements as ingredients to perform a spell!

The newly returned Sunfire, now bonded with Redroot, is the element of Earth. The immortal metamorph Apocalypse, who went by many names and survived the flow of time, is the element of Water. Vulcan, the hot-headed energy elemental who seeks to destroy anything to fuel his own flame of anger and entitlement, is the element of fire. The liberated Daemon, independent of Annihilation and Genesis' thrall, represents the element of freedom: air. Storm is the magic.

Storm is Aether. The element of connection, as she is the source of the newfound brotherhood. The element of the divine; the fruit, in my opinion, represents manna and mana, divine and spiritual nourishment, and God's edible substance to humanity. Aether is also the element of life force itself. Storm's connection to lifeforce is a recurrent theme and a part of her powers. The spell harnesses Storm's magic, powers, and life force to create a mutant island: Kaorak! A final challenge to Genesis.
