I can't get the idea of Captain Marvel and sg just casually being competitive specially around Lena. Lena, aww my coffee is a little cold and carols just holds her coffee, boom right temperature, and sg seething in the background, "look at her Alex she is such a show off, can't trust her!"

Kara subtly trying to assert her dominance, approaching Carol all friendly-like, thanking her for "taking such good care of Lena while you're here, I have so much to do as National City's hero I worry I don't spend enough time with her" and Carol (an experienced lesbian) just nods and smiles that smile like 'sure, babe, I gotchu' before going "it's my pleasure, truly. Hey, you think Lena would like that new restaurant over on Langford? I wanna take her there for a night out." And Kara.exe stops working for a good eight seconds before she sputters back to life like "yeah! Sure, lena would LOVE the romantic ambience and luscious food made by a world famous chef why wouldn't she??" She tries to ignore it, Lena's a big girl and can make her own decisions, and they're just friends anyway, what does it matter to Kara what Lena does? Except Kara can't stop thinking about and after night 3 of listening to Kara go on and on about it, Alex just goes-- "you gay. do something about it." So Kara goes to the restaurant in a flurry of nerves and righteous indignation, only to find... Lena grinning at her in delighted surprise? "Kara! You made it! Carol said you might not..." Kara stares, first at Lena, then at Carol, who smirks. And she realizes... she's been played-- by the ultimate wingman. "Welp, that's my cue. I gotta a date with my daughter and her kid down in Atlanta. I'll stop by before I head out of the system." "Thanks, Carol," Lena returns. "Tell Monica hi for me." "Yes, ma'am." Carol pauses at Kara's shoulder to lean in close. "In case you missed it-- she's totally into you." Kara blinks. "She is?" she whispers back. Carol pats her on the back. "Don't blow it."
