Ideas for AU where Harry is Otto and Norman’s son:

- Otto enthusiastically takes on the role of stay at home dad so Norman can work on building the company. Norman gifts Otto with a large at home lab for him to use when not caring for Harry. When Harry is old enough to attend school, Norman officially hires Otto.

- due to people not being open minded in the late 90s/early 2000s, Norman and Otto keep their relationship private (it’s an open secret at Oscorp). When Harry meets Peter, the two quickly become best friends and Harry asks his dads if it’s okay to bring Peter over to meet both of them. They’re all a little nervous at how Peter will react, but he is of course accepting when Harry tells him he has two dads. And when he finally meets them, Peter nearly loses his mind when he finds out Harry’s other dad is Otto Octavius. The two quickly begin conversing about nanotechnology and fusion reactors and Harry breathes a sigh of relief because it all went better than he hoped. Later, Peter teases Harry for having such poor marks in Science when his parents are both brilliant scientists (Harry responds by throwing a pillow at Peter).

All of these ideas have my whole heart. Otto as a stay at home dad warms me so deeply and the idea of Peter being introduced to Norman and Otto via Harry with the vibe that they’re his parents is delightful. 💕

Just a little something I created for this year's Valentines Day. It's nowhere near as good as last year's but I tried my best.

Norman's sweet tooth is inherited by Rosie, much to Otto's occasional chagrin as he tries to get them both to eat more healthy food. Norman of course understands the importance of giving Rosie a well-balanced meal, but this goes out the window during his second pregnancy; Otto wakes up in the middle of the night to an empty bed, and finds his husband and daughter in the kitchen at 2am, eating peanut butter out of the jar (Norman's accompanied by olives).

I just love this image. Otto standing in the kitchen and turning on the light to find his young daughter and his husband hunched over a jar of peanut butter like they’re afraid it’ll be taken from them. He obviously doesn’t scold them for this, but he does insist that they make sure to sleep in the next day to catch up on sleep and insists to Norman that if he’s going to give into cravings with their daughter to consider limiting it to the daylight hours so she sleeps properly.

Norman usually does Rosie's hair in the morning; he has a routine for his own hair and just adapts it to hers. It looks lovely, and gives them some bonding time. Rosie asks Norman all sorts of questions about what he's doing to her hair and how he gets his to look so "fluffy and soft", and Norman tells her all his secrets. One week, Norman is sick and Otto tries to do Rosie's hair. And fails, despite his best efforts (he wisely refuses help from the actuators). 1/

Otto is heartbroken, and worried that Rosie will be upset. Instead, she calmly takes the brush and fixes her hair; it's not as great as when Norman does it, but it's way better than Otto's attempt. Otto is happy she managed to fix his mess, but also a little sad that he doesn't get to bond with her the way Norman does when fixing her hair. But then Rosie instructs Otto to sit in front of her, and she proceeds to brush his hair. /2

A few days later, Norman is feeling better and makes his way to Rosie's room, where he finds her brushing Otto's hair and discussing Norman's "fluffy and soft" hair care routine. Norman watches this adorable scene for a few minutes, before scooping Rosie up, tickling her and "admonishing" her for giving away his secrets. He later admits to Otto that his hair looks good and feels extra soft. /3 (end)
