i think as part of a arrowverse teambuilding excerise (ray probably suggested it or smth) they all go help out the other teams, like work experience, and so ollie and barry and kara each go on a seperate legends mission and its just. a riot. kara Loves the dressing up aspect, barry can't speed around in case he ruins history so he's just A Guy and ollie comes back and Refuses to speak about what happened and all of team arrow assume it was something harrowing but it was just that he went to the 70s and went disco dancing. sara holds onto the pictures for blackmail.

just thinkin about sneaking into eddie’s room in the middle of the night while he’s fast asleep. his half covered body sprawled in the middle of the bed, head turned to one side, mouth slightly ajar. tiptoeing over to him, trying to softly climb into bed with him, your body freezing midair when he stirs a little. finally deciding, fuck it, and completely lying down next to him and using his left arm as a pillow. feeling your hair tickle his skin, eddie would flutter his eyes open, meeting your gaze.

“mm? what’s wrong, princess?” his words come out raspy and laced with sleep, pulling your body flush against his. “couldn’t sleep?” when eddie’s thought is confirmed with a nod, he presses a soft kiss to your cheek and snakes his arms around your waist, bringing you impossibly closer.

breathing in his familiar scent and feeling his warm skin against yours, you could already feel yourself drifting off. your arms wrap around the ones circling your waist, humming when eddie’s face nuzzles into your neck and presses another soft kiss there. “better?” he whispers, chuckling softly when you shhh him. “m’kay, sweet baby. get some sleep.”

you fall asleep in his arms; the steady rhythm of his breath at your ear and the weight of him around you putting you entirely at ease. just like it did every night before, and every night after.
