Imagine Joe having sex with you underneath a tree
Cabin Fever
Joe Burrow x Reader
A/N: This was such a good request! I hope you like it! Sorry if it sucks a bit. I did have fun writing it, so that's all that matters! Hehe! Thank you for the request!
The June air is warm, and the sun is high in the sky. You sit on the back porch watching your boyfriend resume his workout. He promised you a nice little weekend getaway in upstate New York. But here he was once again zoned in on his football regimen. You lift your shades and put down the book you had been reading.
"Joesph! This is not a mini vacation if all you've been doing is working out!" You yell out to him. Joe takes his AirPods out.
"Did you say something, babe?" He shouts back. You wave him over. Joe puts down the rope and runs over to you. He's shirtless, covered in sweat, with nothing but shorts on. He leans down to kiss your lips, but you turn your head.
"I'm going to make lunch, and I expect you to take a break and join me. over there for a picnic." You point to the tallest tree on the woods' outskirts, aligning the property. Joe groans.
"We just had breakfast, sweetheart."
"That was 4 hours ago. You've been at this nonsense non-stop. Lunch with me, or I'm leaving."
"Fine. But I need to work on a few throws and then-"
"You have 15 mins." You warn him getting up and walking into the cabin. Joe goes back to the field to finish things up. Meanwhile, you begin making lunch. You prepare some sandwiches and a charcuterie board. You pack everything into the basket and grab drinks before heading back out. Joe is still focused on throwing. You walk across the backyard and lay the blanket down underneath the tree. The tree gives you the perfect shade, and you bask in the coolness. Joe has been working under the sun all afternoon. You had put sunscreen on him earlier, but you could tell he would have a bit of a tan; regardless, you hoped it didn't burn too much.
"Joseph!" You wave him over. Your boyfriend holds up five fingers, and you glare at him through your sunglasses. You stand up, putting your hands on your hips, signaling you are not playing anymore. Joe gives you a cheeky smile and puts the football down. He goes inside for 10 mins and returns with a fresh shirt and shorts. You're guessing he washed up because when he sits next to you no longer smells of sweat, but his usual body wash.
"Looks good. Thank you." He grabs a sandwich, and you smile, feeling victory. But for the next 15 mins, he goes on about losing to KC and how he should've played better. Standing up, you lift your sundress, pulling your underwear off, stopping Joe from talking. Normally you love hearing him rant about football, but today was not the day. He promised you a weekend of you and him, no football. Joe licks the vegan mayo off his lips and watches you sit down. You open the strawberries and start eating them slowly. Joe's blue eyes don't stop watching you as you sit back down. He chuckles and places his sandwich down.
"I'm sorry, baby." He crawls over towards you spreading your legs. You play a foot on his shoulder, stopping him.
"Sorry for what?"
"I'm sorry for not giving my beautiful girlfriend my undivided attention." He says, kissing your ankle.
"I don't know if I forgive you."
"How can I make it up to you?" Joe's eyes darken as you remove your foot and open your legs. When it came to your pussy, Joe never wasted time enjoying what was in front of him. You can barely get a word out before Joe dives right in. Joe starts licking and twirling his tongue around your clit before spreading your folds for a messy make-out session with your cunt. Your dress shielded Joe from your view, so you had to go on feeling and sound as he slurped between your legs like a starved animal. Joe has perfected his technique; it takes less than a min for you to cum on his tongue, and that was before his fingers even entered you. Joe pushes your dress off his head and sits up while slowly adding two fingers into you. Your legs shake, and your eyes shoot open. Joe is staring down at you with a wide grin. He pushes your trembling legs apart and takes his place between them. Joe bends down to kiss you. The kiss starts off slow, and you try your best to concentrate on his lips, but with Joe being three fingers knuckle deep in your pussy you're losing focus. He slaps your thigh and bites your bottom lip to keep you focused on him.
"Joe, wait, please." You beg, but Joe doesn't let up. You reach down to grab his hands, and Joe smiles against your lips.
"Nu-uh. You wanted this remember? You're ovulating this week. You've been walking around with nothing under your negligee, begging for it. Begging for me to stuff you full. I'm going to give it to you. And you're going to take every last drop." Joe whispers the last part in your ear, and you rain down on his hand cumming again. You've been discussing having children for the last two months. Yes, Joe said you guys could try. So yes, you have purposely walked around like a dog in heat this week. Joe took his fingers out of your drenched pussy and licked them, sucking your juices off each digit. His shorts are pulled down, and his cock springs out. You sit on your elbows, watching Joe altogether remove his clothes. He leaves you in your yellow sundress because Joe has this thing where he loves fucking you when you're half-dressed. He bunches the dress up your waist and grins. Joe slaps the tip of his dick on your pussy before rubbing it against your clit.
"Please. Hurry."
"Slow down, baby." He warns you. Joe slowly inches in, making your legs shake. In and out. He buries himself into you to the hilt, only to slowly drag it out.
"Stop teasing." You cry. With that, Joe grabs hold of your hips and fucks into you faster, giving you exactly what you wanted. He fucks you dumb. Your mouth is open, but you can't get a word or sound out because Joe hits your g-spot repeatedly. Your legs start shaking uncontrollably, and Joe rubs your clit with his thumb, praising you.
"That's my girl, baby. That's it." Joe says, pulling out until the tip to watch you squirt. Your body twitches and Joe uses this time to pull your dress off and toss it in the grass. He pulls you up on his lap, letting you ride him. But you're still in a dazy, so he bounces you up and down. Throwing your head back, you moan his name and tell him how good he feels. Joe kisses your neck, telling you how good it feels inside you.
"Mine. All mine. I fucking love it in here. Never letting this go." He groans into your neck.
"Yours. It's all yours, Joey." Tears prick your water line again because he quickly found your spot. You don't know if you can handle another orgasm just yet. Joe releases your hips and sits back on his hands, watching you work yourself on his dick.
"Make me a mommy!"
"Yeah? You-you want me to make you a mommy?" Joe stutters, feeling himself about to bust. You look down at him, slowly circling your hips now. You're in control now, and you want to tease Joe. But your boyfriend isn't having that. He is forcing you on your back with your knees pressed against your ears in one quick motion.
"Not-Not fair." You whine, feeling him deep inside you. Joe continues fucking you in that position until is cumming. You love this feeling, his warm cum slowly leaking out of your pussy. You're filled to the brim with his seed. Joe lets go of your weak legs, watching them drop flat like dead weights. He bends down to kiss your belly while pushing his cum back into you with his fingers.
"Can't waste it." He whispers against your stomach. You shudder, and Joe turns you over, wanting to enter you from behind. With shaky hands and legs, you get onto your hands and knees. Joe is in you again before you can steady yourself. You hold on to the tree for support, making Joe laugh as he holds your hips.
"Slow mm, slow down."
Joe doesn't slow down. He lets go of the grip on your hips to hold onto the tree. Every time your ass connects with his pelvis, your knees buckle. It feels so good but is too much at the same time. You start biting your bottom lip, trying to keep quiet because you are on the verge of screaming. At one point, Joe holds your right leg up, creating an angle that sends your eyesight out of focus.
"Why are you quiet now?" Joe stops everything, and you whimper when he pulls out.
"I don't want to be too loud." You whisper. Joe smacks your ass, causing you to yelp.
"Who is going to hear you? Hmm, the birds? Deer? A bear? I don't think the animals care, sweetheart."
You turn around, giving him a fuck you look. Joe slides back in. This time he slows down. You are able to sit up on your knees, letting him fuck up into you. Joe links your hand with his and holds them against the tree.
"My pretty girl. So fucking pretty." He kisses the back of your neck.
"Say it. Say you're my pretty girl."
"I'm your pretty girl." You cry out, squeezing his hand. Joe lets go of you and tells you to lay on your back. You reposition and open your legs, allowing him back in. This time Joe kisses you senselessly while he fucks you. He whispers over and over how much he loves you. And you start crying. You full-on sob as Joe cums into you. He pulls out and looks at you, confused. You hide your face from the embarrassment of having a random breakdown. But every time Joe confesses his love to you, it hits you right in the heart.
"I love you so much, Joseph." You sniffle. He leans down, letting you cup his face.
"I love you more than my own life. I'm sorry I ruined lunch." He chuckles, kissing your hand. You shake your head. You're full of food, cum, covered in sweat, and smells of Joe; there is nothing that is ruined. Joe stands up and picks you up bridal style.
"I'm sleepy."
"Baby. We just started. I need to get my work out in somewhere. Plus, babies don't make themselves!"
"Joseph, wait!" You squeal as he takes off in a sprint to the cabin.
It isn't until 8 pm that you emerge from the cabin to clean up the picnic. You can barely stand but need to get things cleaned up before the animals come. Lucky for you, the food is untouched and still in the basket. You grab the clothes, blanket, and basket and return to the cabin. Joe is sitting in the living room on facetime with his brother.
"Tell my sister-in-law I said hello!" His brother shouts. Joe holds up the phone, and you wave. Joe hangs up with his brother and meets you in the kitchen.
"How about we go for a swim later."
"My legs can't handle that right now." You giggle, leaning against him. Joe rubs your back and hums. He reaches down in his shorts, clutching the bright blue Tiffany's ring box. Joe knows the idea of marriage scares you. When you first started dating, you told him that marriage was off the table, but you would be open to cohabitation if it led to that. Joe was completely thrown off during that part, and let's say the first date was the last date. That was until you met again at a college party. That was seven years ago. You guys have broken up and gotten back together. So just maybe, things have changed. Joe didn't just want to make you a mother. He wanted you as his wife too. Even if it's only a thing on paper, as you say, Joe wanted that.
"Did you hear me?" You ask, bringing him back to reality.
"Uhh, sorry. What's up?"
"I'm going to be pretty pregnant, right? Do you think I could pull off Rihanna type looks?"
"Of course. You'd be prettier than her."
"Let's not get carried away, Joseph. No one is touching mother." You laugh, walking away. Joe squeezes the box. It's now or never. He gets down on his knee while your back is turned.
"There's this little vegan place in town. Let's have dinner there. Urgh, but it's really hard to find a good vegan place and the reviews kinda suck." You complain closing the fridge. Joe panics and puts the box back in his pocket.
"Why are you on the floor?"
"Just looking at the dust." Joe gets up, laughing. You eye him suspiciously but let him go.
"Let me fix my hair, and then we can go," Joe says, rushing out of the room. You lean against the counter, scrolling Twitter waiting for your boyfriend to return. Joe stuffs the box into a random door and sighs. He's afraid you'll leave him again if he brings up marriage. Maybe it was just better to be with you like this. Joe hopes Tiffany's have a return policy for rings purchased two years ago.

You also think that after everything that happened, KC turned to veganism?
He can't eat...
He can drink oil and eat bolts like Sun and Moon can so I don't think that counts as veganism? Plus he never ate in the first place? So idfk
(I'm trying to think in a technical and canonical sense rn)

Kinda rant ig:
Oh god I feel so gross and I'm so bloated, I've been out with one of my friends and we got fast food so I had vegan nuggets and fries but I wanted to get the 6 piece but then she was like 'are you only getting the 6 piece?' so I had to get the 9 piece which had 200kc@ls more.... So I had like 1100 kc@ls in one sitting and I'm so bloated🥲 I mean I didn't eat anything before that and I most definitely wont for the rest of the day cuz I'm so full I feel nausious... These past days have been going really well cuz my appetite hasn't been there much so I haven't eaten much which my stomach has then gotten used to, so it's just extra bad now because of that... We actually also got coffee afterwards so I had around (probably a little over) 1200 today which I know is technically still a deficit but I just feel so gross like I've b!nged or something cuz it was all condensed in one meal and my stomach hurtssss😫

KC [when he's fully here] would probably eat ANYTHING we give him, Eclipse.
For example: I would give him chicken & dumplings.
-Kiv anon
Hm. It’s weird. But I guess you ghosts feeding him must have different cooking abilities. Most of us are vegetarian or vegan because we based our diets off of Moon and Lunar’s since they’re the ones who started eating first. I’m vegan since I have a dairy allergy and eggs taste awful to me. Meat is just weird to me. -Eclipse🧡

I had 3 huge slices of vegan #satchelspizza (definitely one slice too many!) & just half of that beer kicked my behind, but I went ahead and forced down my dessert for my birthday eve celebration. I had to get into bed after, though. I don't do well with unhealthy at all & I'm planning on even more self-abuse to kick off the big 6-0! Dang, how do people eat like this all the time? Shout out to #karmacream for their awesome #vegan #organic desserts packaged in #nontoxic & #biodegradable boxes. #satchelspizza is one heck of a business too, but both they & #reggaeshackcafe have gotta stop poisoning their customers with their styrene containers. I'm just not going to go there more than once a year while they do this no matter how great their food is & what good businesses they are. l'll do a comparative post of KC vs. RS later, but KC will get my biz almost every time, since the others don't offer organic & use toxic & environmentally reckless takeout containers. I'd bmo box if these were normal times & I was able to go out, but the goodies were an early b'day gift from a friend. Life as a canary is TOUGH, but what serves as a curse to some, a few seize the warning with the hope of not falling victim to the way those without a hyperactive immune system ultimately find out: (C). Awesome dinner, but only on a rare occasion, & I can assure you, this pizza is the bomb! I really do love & want to support the businesses who treat their employees well! Man, it was DELICIOUS, but to die for? Nope. Just like anything non-organic, it's loaded with pesticides, herbicides, & other petrochemicals, & I'm gonna pay a very big price for this (it's gonna be a rough night tonight). At least thanks to being vegan, I'm still avoiding a ton of drugs & hormones in the food supply. All that said, I'm gonna have to find a decent vegan, organic beer for the few times I drink it because it pairs so well with certain dishes. Geez, only half a beer & I'm a goner! It sucks if you appreciate a really good beer! Lol, the good news is, there's still half a beer to enjoy with my leftovers. This one doesn't pair so well with pizza, but it's a fantastic tasting beer! Yum, yum, yum! https://www.instagram.com/p/CnJerdRO2CQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

It’s the hug plane, and it’s coming in for landing.
On Saturday December 19th of 2020, my little family and I loaded up and made the long drive to Kansas City for the holidays. We’ve been making better time as Rosebud has gotten older, and we managed to make it to KC right around dinner time. As we approached downtown, we couldn’t help but realize it was the perfect opportunity to veer off to the West Bottoms and try The Tree Hugger Truck!
Tumblr media
Rob’s best friend from high school/best man at our wedding, Phil, and his beautiful wife Mandy, started the Tree Hugger Truck after falling in love with running a Tropical Sno truck in Los Angeles. You can read the whole story here, but they ended up back in KC selling their homemade vegan food that we couldn’t wait to try. I ordered the frisco melt, which was AWESOME. It was physically difficult to eat in the car because it was so messy, but it was the messy things that made it so delicious - those saucy, oniony, pickly puddles were pure deliciousness. And you’d never know she was vegan. Work that angle, girl.
Tumblr media
Rob ordered the barbecue sandwich, which used jackfruit rather than pulled pork, which was marinated in the taste of my childhood, KC Masterpiece barbecue sauce. It was topped with coleslaw, jalapeños, and fried onions and was as lovely as a summer day in Kansas City (which was nice to think about in December).
Tumblr media
Since that chilly evening when we first tried the Tree Hugger, Phil and Mandy have opened a BRICK AND MORTAR! I don’t think I know anyone else personally who owns a restaurant, and I am so proud of them. KC friends, go see them at what is now called Tree Hugger: Plant-Based Kitchen in Riverside - not just for a wonderful vegan meal (also full of gluten-free, nut-free, and soy-free options), but to feel the love from a couple of amazing, goofy people we are proud to call our friends.

What to do in Kansas City | Complete Winter Travel Itinerary
Winter in Kansas City — The Complete Itinerary (What to see, Where to stay, where to eat & Drink)
Kansas City has often been described as the Paris of the Plains. Many travelers, including myself are skeptical about venturing to the Midwest during the winter because of the cold weather. There’s no way I would willingly subject myself to the polar-plunge! Luckily, this cultural center of the Midwest really lights-up during the winter months while the city prepares for the holidays. With surprising cuisine, tons to see, and whiskey that warms my heart and mind, how could I miss visiting Kansas City during this cheery time of year!? Here is the full itinerary of where to stay, what to see, and where to eat and drink in Kansas City.
Where to Stay in Kansas City
Stay at the Crossroads Hotel
What better place to stay than in the heart of the city? Crossroads is an incredibly trendy district filled to the brim with diverse restaurants, kitschy bars, and classic Midwest brick industrial style architecture. Crossroads Hotel features an elegant yet functional design complete with a rooftop bar. No matter the weather, the Crossroads XR Cafe & Bar has quickly become one of Kansas City’s hotspots for locals on the weekends. Meet you in the lobby!
What to See in Kansas City
Explore the Country Club Plaza
Whether you’re looking for new clothes and sales at Madewell or Lululemon, Warby Parker or Anthropologie, the Country Club Plaza has a huge selection of stores. The Spanish architecture is a highlight of the district and definitely worth checking out. During the winter months, the shopping center lights up and is a hotspot for tourists to take advantage of the horse-drawn carriage rides. We made our way to the Made in KC Marketplace to pick up a few gifts for family and friends!
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
We could spend multiple days here just wandering from room to room admiring the art. Featuring works from Monet and Caravaggio, as well as a huge collection of modern artwork and African art.
Explore Crown Center & Union Station
The amazing thing about Crown Center and Union Station is that you can walk between the two through a system of indoor pathways over the roads below. View the Mayor’s Christmas tree in Crown Center, then wander over to see the Christmas decorations and giant Christmas tree inside Union Station. It’s all a magical sight. Crown Center even has an iceskating rink for those brave enough to take on the ice! For those a little less sure, enjoy browsing the shops, go to a movie, or explore Legoland!
Where to Eat in Kansas City
Treat yourself at Rye Plaza
A farm-to-table modern bistro serving Kansas City classics with a bit of flare. Dimly lit, the atmosphere is perfect for a nice date. The food does not disappoint! We were obsessed with their cocktails here. Matthew ordered the Barrel-Aged Old Square which included Union Horse Rye, Cognac, Dolin Vermouth Rouge, Benedictine, bitters and a flamed orange (an actual orange ON FIRE!). Michael tried the Oaxacan Autumn which included Espolón Blanco Tequila, Sombra Mezcal, with a little lemon, apple cider and apricot. Both were incredible!
Have Brunch in a Museum at Café Sebastienne
Ever wanted to eat brunch amongst tons of beautiful works of art surrounding you? Café Sebastienne is the perfect place to do so! Their menu is a seasonal and refined selection, and you can enjoy eating in their eclectic interior or modern spacious patio.
Dig into the Best Kansas City BBQ at Q39
We’ve never had better BBQ than this! We actually didn’t even know BBQ could be this good. Packed with locals and tourists alike, squeeze into Q39 for lunch or dinner and try from a wide variety of perfectly seasoned chicken, beef and pork. We recommend calling ahead to make a reservation to avoid the wait! Also, don’t leave without purchasing a bottle of their house recipe BBQ sauce!
Have a Night to Remember at Novel
Novel has some serious dishes and small plates that pack a punch of interesting flavors. We recommend trying a variety of the small dishes, then sharing a main … but I suppose that depends on how hungry you are! We shared an assortment of dishes (shown above in order) — Steamed buns with poached shrimp, tempura flakes and spicy mayo. Calamari marinated in lime and jalapeño, salad of bitter lettuces, green chickpeas, toasted hazelnuts and a creamy spicy dressing. White bolognese tagliatelle with pork, veal, sweetbreads, parmesan cheese and fresh basil. And lastly the Gnochetti with sheep’s milk cheese, spicy lamb sausage, black beans and lacinato kale.
The Perfect Sunday Brunch at Ça Va
What can we say about Ça Va? The atmosphere is absolutely lovely. The food is delicious. The coffee is the best we experienced during our trip, and the staff is so fun. Ça Va specializes in different kinds of crepes and quiche, though their menu changes weekly to feature the best local and seasonal ingredients. Ça Va is only open for brunch on Sundays, and it is well known throughout the city. Put this in your itinerary so you can call ahead and make a reservation and get in on the action!
Vegan Friendly Meals at True Food Kitchen
This is the first place we ate once we arrived in Kansas City! Located in the Country Club Plaza, this place is perfect for happy hour appetizers and drinks. Everything on the happy hour menu was $5, and it was too good to resist! Big portions, great prices, and amazing flavor! Could not be happier with this fun mid-shopping stop.
Where to Drink in Kansas City
Kansas City’s Premier Gay Bar, Missie B’s
YOU MUST GO HERE! You can’t miss going to Missie B’s when visiting Kansas City! Featuring drag performances downstairs, head to the top to go dancing. Make sure to bring cash, this bar is cash only and charges a cover on weekends at the door. If you forget your cash, no worries there’s an ATM in the back!
Mosaic Ultra Lounge
This is one of my favorite clubs I’ve been to in the US. It’s so unexpected to see this kind of club in Kansas City, but it is exactly what makes me love the city even more. Mosaic Ultra Lounge features a high-energy experience with today’s hottest music, especially House and Dance hits. Every weekend they feature premier DJs from around the world. Celebrating something special? Check out how to reserve a table and bottle service.
Mean Mule Distilling Co.
Looking for a place to chill with great cocktails? Mean Mule Distilling Co. creates its own house American Agave Spirits. This in-house distilled alcohol comes from the agave plant, and is very similar to tequila — but a bit smoother. Try any number of their custom cocktails and start the night off right.
Julep Kansas City
The amazing thing about Julep in the wintertime is that it turns into a Christmas bar. The theme, Christmas in Hawaii. It’s amazing. The cocktails are everything we needed. This is my favorite place to grab a drink with friends in Kansas City!
Miracle Pop-Up Bar (A Christmas Themed Bar!)
If you’re lucky enough to make it to the Miracle Pop-Up Bar in Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza, you will not be disappointed. It is decorated to the nines, has a line out the door, and is absolutely worth the wait! This bar is only open from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve. You won’t find it on Google or Apple Maps, but the Country Club Plaza location is right at 4087 Jefferson St., next to Parkway Social Kitchen.
Parlor
Drink. Eat. Repeat! I’ve been to a few adult cafeterias like this in different cities around the US. They are some of my favorite places to meet friends, grab a bite to eat or a few drinks.

Hey guys!
So I usually post on products that I have already tried but you know what, I wanted to write about products that I want to try, this is my nearby wishlist. These products are usually hype central, whether they’re movies, books, makeup the hype says this product will make your life better and we believe it even though we’ve never seen any of these things up close.
Kylie Jenner Lip Kit
There were originally three but now she’s expanded her collection so much. I can’t decide which one I would buy because I love all the of them.
This lipkit when first presented to the public sold out within 30 seconds! Everyone loves it too. Apparently (this is according to many makeup bloggers and make up artists) the formula is really creamy and doesn’t dry out your lips like most matt lipsticks. It also stays on and doesn’t look weird and flaky after a long period of time or if you eat. But the eyeshadows, foundations and other products look so terrible that you might as well buy penny’s make up.
    2. Black lipstick
Now I know I won’t look as good as these guys (Rihanna is so beautiful if someone told she was an alien I’d believe it. Seriously who looks that good?! And in everything!) but for some reason I really want to get it and try it out. I’ve seen some really bad black lipstick on people though, where the color isn’t rich enough and it looks just overall wrong. It makes me hesitant but I think if I was to get a black lipstick it would have to be a good one (E.g. MAC) to work. I’ll update you on this black lips mission.
3. L.A girl pro concealer
If you watch make up tutorials you have to have heard of this. It’s used to contour the face which I am in dire need off. However even though it says it’s only $5 but shipping is super expensive 😦
  4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
At first I wanted the Anastasia Bevery Hills dipbrow but now the definer came out and the hype has spread all the way over from the U.S to Ireland and now I want it. If it makes it easy for me to make my brows on fleek like the I.G models on their Instagram, then I want it.  (o.k maybe I still want the dipbrow as well)
  5. Matcha Tea
I mean why not? If it’s healthy and helps you lose weight I’m all for it. It’s at KC Peaches and something that I’ll definitely try by the end of the month.
7. Healthy Doughnuts?
This is a wish that will seem difficult to accomplish in Dublin, since it seems like a more L.A thing but I’ve been hearing so much about a vegan, baked doughnut. To be honest I don’t think it’ll be much healthier like every one claims, the calories will probably be the same or only like 10 calories less but I’m interested in seeing if it tastes as good as a regular doughnut or will it be a cake trying to disguise itself as a doughnut by having a hole in it? I will have to investigate this situation and I’ll report as soon as I can.
Until next time,

I’m pretty sure con was (still is today?) in KC with J since friday. Friday they went to eat vegan hot dog (j is not vegan) so that was for con& it’s so cute. The next morning J posted a tiktok while he’s smiling at/talking to con who is on his bed (first time he’s filming while having someone on his bedroom). J posted a pic from a museum date (took by con, this is sooo him in the style). Also yesterday, con posted a pic at KC lunch time from the same place J posted (the glass they use are very recognizable).
How cute! happy for con!!

in his IG story it appears that KC eats fish at Carbone restaurant in NY
No doubt it's some sort of synthetic fish that those obsessives claim tastes "just like the real thing". 😂
Literally NOT A SINGLE VEGAN THING I HAVE EVER EATEN has tasted "just like the real thing". 🙄
But you guys know what does taste "just like the real thing"?
THE REAL THING. 🤷🏼‍♀️

29 Best Vegetarian Recipes - Cookie and Kate
Tumblr media Tumblr media
47 Comments After a big weekend, I’m looking forward to some fresh and healthy, restorative meals. You, too? You’re in the right place. Since we have many new visitors here this year (welcome!), I’ve rounded up 29 of the most popular vegetarian main dishes on Cookie and Kate. Keep in mind that all of my recipes are vegetarian, so it wasn’t easy to narrow down the list to a reasonable number. These recipes are for you if you’re a vegetarian like me, or you’re: Trying to eat less meat this year. Looking for Meatless Monday recipes. Wanting to eat more veggies and whole grains. Interested in trying fun and different recipes. Basically, they’re for everyone! These crowd-pleasing recipes will convince even the most skeptical carnivores that meatless recipes can be delicious and satisfying. You’ll find more popular options in our “Reader Favorites” category in the sidebar. If you’re looking for something particular, try hovering over “All Recipes” in the menu bar and you’ll find many more categories to explore. Or for an overview of our most recipe recipes, click “View All.” For more favorite recipes, check out my cookbook, Love Real Food, which has over 100 recipes (most of which you won’t find on the blog). In no particular order, here are the 29 best vegetarian recipes according to readers. 1) Extra Vegetable Fried Rice Gluten free and easily vegan “I made this last weekend and love love loved it so I’m making it again this weekend! My husband really liked it too, and it’s a tall order to get him to eat a lot of vegetables so this will be entered into our regular rotation for sure. So glad I found this blog, I’ve email subscribed and have just purchased your cookbook! Thanks Kate!!” – Julia 2) Best Lentil Soup Gluten free and vegan “This is one of my favorite recipes ever. I think I could eat it every day. One time when I was eating it while curled up on the couch, I kept saying, “This is sooo good,” after every single bite. The curry powder and lemon juice MAKE IT. Thank you, Kate!” – Lauren 3) Crispy Baked Falafel Gluten free and vegan “Ok, these little babies are literally THE best falafels I have EVER had. I will be keeping this recipe, five out of five!! We had them with whole wheat pita, hummus, vegan pesto mayo, tomatoes, kalamata olives and spring greens. OMG sooo good. Thank You!!! You’re the best! I could cry they are so good!” – Connie 4) Epic Vegetarian Tacos Gluten free and easily vegan “Wow, just served them for dinner. “Epic” is a great description. As you said, Kate, the pickled onions complement the other ingredients perfectly! I offered all the condiments you suggested and favorites were shredded cabbage and feta cheese. Gonna make up burritos for lunch tomorrow, with the left-overs (I doubled the recipe, fortunately)” – Erikb 5) Peanut Slaw with Soba Noodles Easily gluten free and easily vegan “I have made this recipe so many times! Mostly for myself, but I have also brought it to a few potluck-style gatherings and it was a hit every time. Super simple to make and very addicting!” – Diane 6) Pinto Posole Gluten free and vegan “Shortly after making this delicious dish that the whole family enjoyed, I was asking my six year old son about his favorite food. He quickly replied, “That dish you made!” (Pinto Posole). Thank you for this and all of your wonderful recipes!” – Mariah 7) Vegetable Paella Gluten free and vegan “Fellow KC resident here! I love La Bodega’s paella, so my expectations were pretty high. I made this recipe last night (with the socarrat) and it was amazing. Absolutely loved it and will be making it again soon!” – Toni 8) Best Vegetable Lasagna Easily gluten free and easily vegan “I decided to give the recipe a try and I was blown away by the amazing deliciousness. My experience with vegetable lasagnas has been figuring out how to cover up the watery nightmare hiding under the cheese layer. This recipe left me with the best tasting lasagna I’ve ever made. I had some friends over and no one commented that it was missing meat. Everyone was just eating fast to secure a second piece. Also, I bought all the ingredients on a tight budget, so I spent $8.50!” – David 9) Roasted Cauliflower and Lentil Tacos with Creamy Chipotle Sauce Gluten free and easily vegan “Success! My carnivorous husband expressed worry with “We’re going to run out of lentils.” My carnivorous ten-year-old stepson, who was at first disdainful of a meatless meal, soon claimed he was going to eat ten tacos and that “This dish could be at a fancy restaurant.” Finally, our two-year-old son kept clamoring, “More cauliflower!” The only thing I will do differently next time is to double the recipe!” – Brooke 10) Classic Minestrone Soup Easily gluten free and easily vegan “This is THE best minestrone ever! It is so satisfying all around from delicious flavors to ease of prepping all the ingredients to enjoying the hearty soup! (My family thinks it’s a better recipe than the one from the award-winning bakery/cafe near us!) Thank you for creating a true classic!” – Beth 11) Black Bean Sweet Potato Enchiladas Gluten free and easily vegan “This is heavenly! I decided to make dinner for my mom and her boyfriend the night before they left for a vacay to London. Knowing that her boyfriend is vegetarian, I had to turn to google. I came across your page, and I never turned back! The two could not stop raving about this dish. And honestly, either could I! I paired it with Cilantro Lime Rice – perfection. I’m going to be whipping up more of your recipes this coming week. Thank you, Kate!” – Danielle 12) Thai Red Curry with Vegetables Gluten free and vegan “Made this yesterday following the recipe quite faithfully. Hubby said it tastes exactly like the red curry at our favorite Thai restaurant! This is a winner and will be bookmarked and made often! The details provided in the recipe such as time to cook at each step ensure that you can’t go wrong with the recipe. And so I would feel confident making this recipe for company too.” – Poornima 13) Lentil Baked Ziti Easily gluten free “This was absolutely fantastic! Loved the surprise of the lentil texture it was SO satisfying! Can’t wait for the next recipe… thank you!” – Cait 14) Spicy Kale and Coconut Fried Rice Gluten free and easily vegan “I absolutely loved this stir-fry and I’m so happy I stumbled across it! I made it for the first time last week and just made it again today. My husband was not complaining :) I used coconut oil because it was the only oil I had on hand besides olive oil and I used sambal oelek for the chili garlic sauce. This is such a different recipe with unique flavor combinations but it works so well together. Thank you for a fabulous recipe, Kate!” – Moriah 15) Roasted Veggie Enchilada Casserole Gluten free and easily vegan “This was soooo GOOD! Thank you for an awesome recipe that was easy to follow for this newbie cook. I did add some diced green chiles for added flavor but it would have been just as excellent without. I love your website, I am new to cooking vegetarian and your recipes and easy to follow instructions are really helping me build confidence.” – Joseph 16) Roasted Carrots with Farro, Chickpeas & Herbed Creme Fraiche Easily gluten free and easily vegan “Oh my goodness! This recipe is just SPECTACULAR! I substituted regular carrots and added an extra tablespoon of pumpkin seeds just because I love them so much! This may be my favorite dish by her yet! Thank you Kate!” – Madison 17) Spaghetti Squash Burrito Bowls Gluten free and easily vegan. This recipe features my go-to method for cooking spaghetti squash! “I absolutely LOVE this recipe! I made it last night for my family girls night. My 4 year old exclaimed “this is so good mommy!” and “I love this!” once she finally sat still enough to eat more than the purple parts. As for me….just what I needed…fabulous flavor amazing color and pretty fast to prepare for our lenten Friday supper. And my husband was out, so no griping about squash! Wins all the way around.” – Erin 18) Roasted Cauliflower and Farro Salad with Feta and Avocado Easily gluten free and easily vegan “OMG!! I made this salad last night and I do not believe there is a recipe from my vast collection that I enjoyed more. I had never even heard of farro before, but there it was, on the shelf at my favourite grocery store! The soft chewiness of the garlic flavoured farro with the roasted cauliflower, sun dried tomatoes and kalamata olives was divine. The feta and buttery avocado was the perfect finish to a stunning recipe. I can’t wait to make it for my friends!” – Linda 19) Thai Pineapple Fried Rice Gluten free and easily vegan “This was amazing! It came together really quickly and had the perfect balance of flavours and textures. I love how the juicy, caramelized pineapple blends with the sriracha and soy. Kate, your recipes are so detailed and easy to make. My only complaint is that I didn’t stumble upon your site sooner – I can tell that I’m going to be making a lot of your recipes over the coming weeks and that I’m going to find a lot of favourites to put in my rotation.” – Sarah 20) Easy Brown Rice Risotto with Mushrooms and Fresh Oregano Gluten free and easily vegan “This is among the best risotto I have ever eaten. Even my risotto-phobic daughter was sneaking seconds. I’ve made it according to the recipe’s directions, and enjoyed it thoroughly. I have also switched it around and given it a fresh thyme and Sherry flavouring, which was just as delightful. Thank you for such a fabulous recipe. I love when they’re both nutritious and delicious – a common combination on C and K. Thank you again.” – Chelsea 21) Quinoa Vegetable Soup with Kale Gluten free and vegan “Absolutely delicious. Had it at my daughter’s home last night and enjoyed it so much I made it today at my home for dinner tonight. I used about 6 cups of veggies and added a little jalapeno and I used red kale. Will be a “do again” many times recipe.” – Michael 22) Spicy Sweet Potato and Green Rice Burrito Bowls Gluten free and vegan “I made this last night, and my brother-in-law, a devout meat eater, loved it. But more importantly, the vegetarians present loved it. We were all wowed by the combo of textures and flavors: soft, crunchy, hot, cool. The hint of lime in the beans and the seasoned rice were show-stoppers. I am curious to try other flavored rice, but for now, thank you so much for such a wonderful company dish.” – Juli 23) Thai Mango Cabbage Wraps with Crispy Tofu and Peanut Sauce Gluten free and easily vegan “OK, OK, so I’ve always loved this blog and the recipes, but this recipe sent me over the top. It is DELICIOUS. My husband said, “When did you become gourmet?” And then I immediately went and pre-ordered your book. Thanks again for another great recipe.” – Erin 24) Kale, Black Bean & Avocado Burrito Bowl Gluten free and vegan “This was a hit at our house! I have 2 little boys who ate this right up, AND asked for seconds. Even the kale. I was amazed. I’m printing it out to make sure I remember to make it when the busy weeknights start up in the fall. It was so quick to make!” – Brittani 25) Veggie Black Bean Enchiladas Easily vegan “I made this tonight for some vegetarian friends. My husband, who is not a fan of Mexican or vegetarian food LOVED it, and my guests had three helpings! I served it with home made salsa, sour cream, and a simple green salad. Will definitely be making this again!” – Kate 26) Vegetarian Stuffed Acorn Squash Gluten free and easily vegan “I love this! I have made it with chickpeas and without — both are excellent. I made this for the main course of our New Year’s eve dinner and all were impressed. It has a great presentation and hits my check box for comfort food. Thanks, Kate!” – Paul 27) Homemade Vegetarian Chili Gluten free and vegan “I used this recipe (sized up for 50 servings) yesterday for a local Chili Cook-off event and won best vegetarian chili-so you truly can say it is the best vegetarian chili recipe!” – Tess 28) Sweet Potato & Black Bean Veggie Burgers Gluten free and vegan “3 years ago I became a vegetarian and this was one of the first recipes I tried. It was so delicious, it made me happy to be a vegetarian and I’ve never felt the urge to go back to meat-eating. This is still one of my staples, and even my meat-eating parents love them! Thank you for sharing your recipe!” – Emily 29) Fresh Huevos Rancheros Gluten free “The first time making (or even eating) huevos rancheros! This was so delicious and was a great hit with my husband and adult son (who are normally meat lovers!). I’m enjoying discovering new vegetarian recipes on your website.” – Kathy More resources you might appreciate: 23 make-ahead breakfast recipes and 29 vegan dinner recipes. Sitting here listening to "I.G.Y. (What a Beautiful World),” the solo effort by Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen. I never knew what I.G.Y. meant, and I’m guessing most of you didn’t either. It’s worth a Google if you’re interested. Donald Fagen is too smart for me. I’m more a KC and the Sunshine Band kind of gal.
Scott and I have been trying to eat vegan six nights a week. Tonight we made our first Green Chef meal that sent us out to get a pizza. Tempeh is gross. And I’m hungry. We’re weak people.
I finished catching up on Season 6 of Homeland over free Showtime weekend, and the final episode is on tonight. Feeling pretty proud of myself for saving Showtime dollars. Which is funny, since I waste dollars in so many other ways (see above re: buying two dinners). The mind games we play with ourselves...priceless.
