failed mission - B. Blake x reader

Bellamy Blake x grounder!reader - Drop ship
You're an Azgeda assassin sent to kill Bellamy after the mass genocides to Trikru. Azgeda assassins are supposed to be stone-cold, and feel nothing, but what happens when a certain boy tries to gain your trust
cw: smut, nsfw, oral, a little violence
Tumblr media
Day two
Sitting atop my horse, Swan, I was studying the boy beyond the trees. He knew I was here, he was also studying me as well. He goes by the name 'Bellamy Blake', an oddly long name, but a name you don't see every day.
I was here to kill him.
To deliver his head to my buyers, Titus, the fleimkepa, and King Roan.
I had been following this Bellamy for two days, he's known I was following him for a few hours, and my horse had given it away.
I like to study my targets, see what they are like, study their mannerisms, and how they survive. It isn't standard, most assassins would've had it done within the hour. I've had the chance to kill him plenty of times. He is always so vulnerable to attacks, or maybe he knows that and is testing me.
Bellamy carries himself well for the most part, he's a good shot but very loud, as most Skaikru are. It was fairly easy to track him. The first day I was sent he was at their initial landing spot, what they call a 'dropship'. I wasn't sure why he wasn't behind the walls of Arkadia, could they have banished him?
My thoughts were cut short when I realized I had lost sight of him, I couldn't believe I got so caught up in my own thoughts to realize he was gone.
I hitched Swan and treaded lightly to his last position by the river.
Under a rock was a note and a piece of fish, the note would've been nice if I could read it.
The ignorance of Skaikru.
It wasn't that I couldn't speak English, in fact, I was fluent, as all warriors and assassins are. Only the warriors are taught English along with Trigdasleng, it was so we could understand the Mountain Men, well when they were a threat.
Thank you, Clarke.
I had tossed the piece of fish back into the river as I didn't trust Bellamy, I mean I was here to kill him after all.
Looking into the dirt I saw a heavy set of footprints, foolish boy. They were leading back to the dropship, were he was spending most of his days. His schedule was very plain, wake up, walk to the river, eat, walk back. Very boring for a sky person.
I walked back to Swan to hitch her somewhere safe and headed towards the dropship carefully.
Clearly not careful enough as I ended up in a trap, a bear trap of some sorts. It didn't have jagged edges like a normal trap, it was flat and only applied enough pressure to injure my foot and land me on the ground.
"Who are you?"
I heard a voice call from the bushes, it was very easy to spot him as he was a fairly tall man. How stupid could I have been? I wasn't even watching where I was looking? The trap wasn't even hidden that well and I walked right into it. I got weak. Clumsy. I let my guard down. I could never call myself an Azgeda assassin after this.
Moments passed without an answer from me and he was growing impatient.
"I said who are you? I am not afraid to kill you, grounder." Bellamy yelled, now emerging from the bushes with a pistol in hand. I may have let my guard down but I wouldn't let this man intimidate me.
"Azgeda," I say flatly, not revealing anything else.
Bellamy pondered for a moment, his gaze on me remained strong, not daring to look away, it was clear I intimidated him.
"Ice Nation? I said who are you."
No response.
"Tell me or I swear I will pull this trigger!" He shouted, stepping closer until the barrel of the gun was against my forehead.
I had already accepted death.
"Ai gonplei ste odon." My fight is over.
Bellamy had pistol-whipped me, and before I knew it I was knocked out.
Tumblr media
Day three
I had awoken tied to the ladder in the dropship. Looking around I saw that most things were covered in tar from the fire, the only clean things being Bellamy's makeshift bed and his other belongings, as well as all my armor and layers, leaving me in a simple t-shirt; which I could only assume was his, and my jeans.
I was tied down with leftover seatbelts, very sturdy, I had struggled before finally giving in after a headache caught up with me.
I groaned in pain, death would've been kinder than a pistolwhip. Where even was he? Had he just left me here to rot?
A few moments after Bellamy had appeared from behind the red tarp acting as a door, he was wearing what he always wears. A gray shirt paired with his usual black jacket, with certain patches gone missing. His hair and face had been littered with dirt and blood, though I was sure the blood wasn't his.
"Good, you're awake. Makes this a lot easier." Bellamy spoke, swiftly walking to his pack next to his bed. My worry grew when he pulled something out, was he going to kill me now?
He pulled out a water flask and walked over to me, I'd never drink from an enemy's flask.
Bellamy put the flask to my mouth, when I pulled my face away he sighed and took a sip himself to show me it was safe. I still didn't trust it.
I took a big sip, and once he pulled it away I spit the water back into his face. He pursed his lips, seemingly trying to keep his anger down. I'd never be this man's peace.
"A bath would do you good, ripa." Murderer. Even without a bath, his scent was.. likable.
He scoffed amusingly, "That's funny coming from you, grounder."
Bellamy stood up, wiping away the water with his hand and turning his back towards me.
"What do you want from me?" He continued, grabbing a chair and sitting it close in front of me.
I refused to answer, I only stared at him with anger.
"I have all day, princess." He spoke, leaning back in the chair and pulling out a wrapped ration from his pocket. He was going to eat in front of me, what kind of torture method was this? And princess? Who does Bellamy think he is?
A few hours had passed since then and I really had to go. I'd been holding it in for hours but I was at my limit. Bellamy was still staring at me through it all, he could tell I was starting to get uneasy.
"I need to go..." I let out in a barely audible whisper, quickly regaining his attention.
"What was that?"
"I need to go."
The dots seemed to connect in his mind and he nodded, getting up ready to let my wrists free.
"Tell me your name first," Bellamy demanded.
Are you serious? Of course, he would stoop this low.
"y/n," I spoke with a sigh, I had no other choice but to give in. And with a nod, he freed me- well, for the most part, one of my hands was still attached to a seatbelt, which he was holding.
Bellamy led me out of the dropship and to the side, god, this was so embarrassing.
"Can you at least turn around?" I questioned, my voice wavering for the first time since I met him. So much for not being intimidated.
With a silent nod he turned to the side and I did my business, a real gentleman, pistol-whipping me, and tying me up.
Though I had no room to speak.
Tumblr media
Day four
I was back on the ladder, and Bellamy was in his now usual spot. Right in front of me. I hadn't eaten in two days, he knew this. And he used it against me.
"Now, princess, why were you following me?" Bellamy questioned, waving a piece of fish in his hand, like I was some dog he was rewarding for good behavior.
Was he trying to train me?
I had come to the conclusion I either answer the question or die of starvation. I already failed the mission, I could never return to Azgeda or Polis. I couldn't face what was waiting for me.
"I was hired to kill you." I flatly state, eyeing the fish and practically drooling over it.
Bellamy seemed satisfied with this answer and handed me the piece with a small nod, which I quickly scarfed down. I watched him pull another from the little silver bag.
He really was training me.
"Why didn't you? You've been following me for a few days, and had plenty of chances."
I thought about my answer for a few seconds, "You were intriguing. You didn't act like how they described."
He only smiled at this, for reasons I couldn't comprehend. But I got another piece of fish so I didn't really care.
"Well, until you pistolwhipped me," I added in between bites. His smile slowly faded.
"Sorry about that, I didn't wanna kill you."
"Cause you needed answers?"
He hesitated.
"Yeah."
Tumblr media
Day five - smut
The isolation had started to get to me, Bellamy being the only person I could see, and I started to notice more things about him. The way his back muscles would flex when he changed clothes. How defined his arms were and how defined his entire body was.
I cursed myself for having these thoughts about Bellamy, I was his prisoner, and I should be scared for my life.
It was particularly hot this morning, so Bellamy decided the best option was to be shirtless. All. Day.
His chest was well shaven surprisingly, and his pants sagged low, low enough to see his V line. That only brought worse thoughts. Thoughts I couldn't suppress.
He hadn't asked me any questions since I've awoken, I assume he's given up and doesn't need me anymore.
"Like the view?" He asks, snapping me out of my trance, how long had he known I was staring?
His gaze on me was intense. He knew I wouldn't answer his question so he only stepped closer and closer, leaning down when he got close enough to me.
"Keep looking pretty for me, yeah princess?" He spoke, his voice becoming husky.
A bright red tint lined my face at his words. Nobody had ever spoken to me in that way. I couldn't reply, too filled with nerves to form a comprehensible sentence, all I could do was stare at the handsome man before me and hope he didn't notice how vulnerable he made me.
Bellamy seemed to get an idea, with a smirk he stood up and sat back in the chair.
Leaning back he began unbuckling his belt, pushing his pants just below his bulge. I was more turned on than I'd ever been. Was he really going to do what I think he's gonna do? Now this is torture. Not being able to touch him.
Bellamy started palming himself through his boxers, letting little grunts slip past his mouth, meanwhile maintaining full eye contact with me- though my eyes were focused on his hands. I wanted so desperately for that to be my hands touching him, my hands making him feel good.
A few seconds passed before he pulled his boxers down just enough to reveal his entire cock, causing me to clench my thighs together tightly; craving any friction I could get. I now only realized the shirt I was wearing still had his scent on it, it was intoxicating.
He started stroking himself slowly, leaning his head back in pleasure. I needed him.
"Bellamy," I spoke, my voice laced with lust and need, my entire body feeling warm. His name sounded so good coming from my mouth. Bellamy's eyes locked back with mine as his pace quickened.
"Princess," His voice sounded breathy. The nickname did no help in calming me down. I wasn't sure what to say next.
Bellamy stood up and walked closer to me.
"On your knees." He demanded, to which I quickly obliged, finally getting what I wanted. I got to my knees and looked up at him, his cock resting on my rose-tinted cheek while his hand caressed my other cheek, moving down to my mouth and running his thumb along my lower lip; asking for entrance.
Opening my mouth I felt his thumb explore it, pressing softly against my tongue, all the while maintaining eye contact with me.
"So good for me." Bellamy praised before tapping his tip against my tongue, the taste being surprisingly good given the limited resources. He slowly inserted his cock into my mouth, releasing a loud groan of pleasure once he hit the back of my throat, the warmth feeling amazing against his dick.
His hand instinctively grabbed ahold of my hair, holding my head in place as he started throat fucking me. I began breathing through my nose and using my tongue to feel against his shaft. Bellamy's moans only grew louder and his breathing became erratic.
My mouth was doing this to him, I was making him feel so good.
"Just like that." He whispered between moans, noticing the tears that began to coat my cheeks.
His free hand gripped the ladder steps above my head. The hand on my hair gripped tighter than before, I could tell he was close.
His tip hit the back of my throat relentlessly, I was sure I'd have trouble speaking after this, but its be so worth it. I could feel his cock twitch in my mouth, his thrust slowly becoming sloppy.
"Doing so good, princess, so good, so fucking good."
My throat began to hurt from the abuse of his dick, and with one final deep thrust, I felt his warm cum fill my throat, forcing me to swallow every drop of the salty substance. Once he was sure he was done Bellamy pulled out, leaving my mouth feeling empty, missing the feeling of his cock. He was covered in sweat and I was covered in tears, but in this moment he never looked sexier.
I felt my hands drop to my sides, was he letting me free?
"Let's get cleaned up." He spoke, dropping the seat belt completely and helping me up. I stumbled a bit but used him as support. I was free but I didn't want to run.
In this moment nothing else mattered but him.

Azgeda Charm

synopsis The sister of Ontari from Azgeda decides it could be fun to free the sky boy pretending to be her sister’s fleimkepa.

“Chains? Really, she’s chained her pet up now?” She’s always been a bit overzealous, but my sister really has gotten herself into it this time. How does she expect no one to find out that she isn’t a true commander? Without the flame she’s just my idiot sister. “Give me the key. Now.”
I shove her man aside and stalk toward her quarters. He grunts, but won’t do anything about my treatment of him. If there’s anything good to say about my sister it’s that she protects me. In fact, I’m probably the only person other than Roan, Nia, and their goons who could ever talk back to her without getting skewered.
I’m quiet as I near the door, creeping extra slowly in my heavy boots. With my ear to the wood I hear the muffled sounds of her speaking to him–the scrawny Skaikru boy.
“There’s somebody else, okay? I’m sorry.” Doesn’t sound sorry to me. My breath tightens in my chest, my sister doesn’t like to be told no. And, if he fights her on it, she will certainly win, one way or another…
“Is she a commander too?” Well, you’re not really a commander are you, Ontari?
“No.” Chains rattle within. So she did have him chained up. What a charmer my sister is. I feel my heartbeat quicken but I can’t tell why. As though I’m in battle when I am not.
“Would she kill you if you ever lied to her,” The chains make a cracking sound, and I hear him grunt. “Did anything to break her trust, or upset her in any-”
I’m moving before I can think better of it. I don’t know why I would do such a horribly foolish thing but I do. When the door slams open Ontari is there, pulling him toward her by a chain that is cuffed around his neck. The look on his face is a perplexing one, hesitant but willing, typical man. I scoff. Loyalty is a myth. Ontari is bare, of course flaunting the body that has always been so much better than mine.
“Sister!” She is displeased. “You are interrupting.”
I shake my head at her. “Chit yu dula op?”
“Just having a little fun.” She grits out. I raise my brows at her, and she crosses her arms over her perky, bare breasts like an insolent child.
“Well. Glad to see you’ve learned some things about enslaving people.” I glance pointedly at the chain still in one of her hands. I can tell that upset her, but it’s true. How can she abuse her power like this when we’ve lived under the fist of others for so long? “Anyway, you wanted to know when King Roan arrived. He has.”
My sister sucks in a breath, composing herself. “Of course. Thank you, sister.” I lean in the doorway as she dresses and shift my glance over to see that her ‘fleimkepa’ is eyeing me cautiously. I narrow my eyes in return. He must be a snake to have fallen in with Ontari. Of course, I’m not much better. I’ve killed for her.
She slips past me. “And what should I do with your prisoner?” I mock.
“Don’t touch,” she hisses.
“Don’t worry.” I slam the door behind her before turning to take in the scene before me. It’s a pitiful display. The sky boy’s face is decorated in lines of dried blood, and he looks ridiculous in the robes he’s clad in. “Hello, liar.” He frowns. I can tell he doesn’t want to say anything, doesn’t want to reveal his hand without knowing how much I already know. “What is your name?”
“People call me Murphy.”
“I didn’t ask what people call you. I asked for your name.”
He smirks but it doesn’t reach his eyes. It seems he’s used to playing pretend. “John Murphy.”
I approach him, our eyes not breaking contact. His are dark blue and difficult to read. I reach up and unlock the collar around his neck, dropping it to the floor in a loud metal thud. He isn’t bad looking. I noticed it when Ontari first began toting him around. I’m unsure if it’s the strong nose or the way his lips curl into a sarcastic smile at the slightest hint of play. He’s like a child that way.
“Well you’re welcome, John Murphy.” I turn away from him, walking toward the window. Everything is so big in Polis, and it’s startling to look down from so high up. “You should go before my sister returns.”
“Go? So you’ll disobey her?”
I can’t help but giggle at that. When I turn around he looks deadly serious. “I’m not afraid of her. Not like you, sky boy.”
“Sky boy.” He chuckles. “Alright, so if I walk out that door right now you won’t be killing me?”
“Nope.” I extend a hand toward the door. He shrugs and approaches it.
“Thanks. Your name?” He asks.
“(Y/n).” He nods. He does not go anywhere. I feel my stomach knotting. Ontari would very much not like this.
“Why do you stay with your sister?”
“She’s my sister.”
“Look, I’m not going to pry the answer out of you. You clearly don’t like her.” So casually he speaks to me, though I could easily murder him right here and anyone else surely would have already. There’s a knife at my hip, another in my boot. It would be too easy. “You could leave.”
At that, I scoff. “With you?”
“Well, I could manage getting out of here myself but it’d be a lot easier if you walked me out in chains.”
Ontari was right about him. He is smart, foxlike. I’ve always admired foxes, you know, before my sister would go in for the kill. I suddenly feel bare, but there’s no way he could know how much I’ve wanted to leave. I’ve spent my entire life in Ontari’s shadow. My perfect Natblida sister. And she has no idea the way Nia’s men would treat me behind closed doors, no idea the things I’ve done to protect her. My feet are moving now–what is it about this boy that makes me so thoughtless?
He holds out his wrists and I begin to tie them up. He flinches in pain as I pull the knot tight, and I tut at him. “Is it the sky that makes you all so weak, or just the coddling from your mothers?”
“I don’t have a mother anymore. Or a father.”
I meet his eyes, and again have no idea what I see in them.
“Then we are the same. Come on.” I yank him along with me, taking a huge breath before leaving the room. This could be very easy or end in Ontari slaying him on sight and finding some way to punish me. Why did I care if this pet of her’s died? “Hurry.” I hissed.
We’ve made it down the first hallway when I hear sounds from around the next corner. Luckily, there’s a shallow alcove in the dark to our left. I slam him into it, clasping my hand over his mouth and pressing my body tight against him. Hopefully this will be enough. He winks at me and I glare back.
Whoever it was passes us without incident, and we make the rest of our journey out undetected. Outside, he holds his hands out to me.
“I don’t think so.” I grin.
“Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into now.”
I lead him out of Polis, toward the surrounding forest where we won’t be so easily found. Pleased with our progress, I stop to rest.
“Are you letting me out of this anytime soon or should I be trying to escape?”
With my back to him, I ask the question that’s been on my mind. “You said to my sister there’s someone else. Is there?”
“There was. But, no, not anymore.” It’s a loaded answer, but one that causes my stomach to flutter regardless.
“So, you rejected your commander even without another woman on your mind?”
“We both know she isn’t a commander. And I don’t have a commander. Kind of a loner, when I’m not chained up.”
I turn. “And you find yourself chained up often, I assume?”
He shrugs. “More often than I’d like.”
I take a step toward him. If I could just read him this wouldn’t be so difficult. But if there’s one language I’m familiar with, it’s force. So, as I walk past him, I kick his knees out from under and he falls forward onto them. “So I’m to believe you don’t like being tied up?”
“I wouldn’t go that far.” I circle him, his eyes trained on me.
“How far would you go?” I am so out of my depth, but the way he looks up at me from below is like a drug. I could be this girl, the one who makes men fall on their knees. Maybe that’s who I am when men aren’t asking me to talk to my sister for them.
He blinks, and the first real smile I’ve seen breaks out on his face. “I’m yours.”
Those words alone send me into a frenzy. A sound escapes my throat and I grab him by the back of his head smashing my lips into his. He knows more of this than I do, I can tell, but when I back away there’s nothing mocking in the way he looks at me.
I take off my jacket first, then hesitate. This is the part I’ve always feared. “I don’t look like Ontari.” As if he couldn’t see already that she was built athletic and delicate like a doe and I was certainly not.
“And?” What an ass. But it works. I swallow and began to undress. As I do so, I don’t expect him to say anything. I know I’m bigger than her. But I can still have this. I don’t look at him until he clears his throat. “You’re beautiful.”
“What?” I croak.
“Do you need me to say it again? I want you.”
That’s it. I close the space between us. He eyes my tits from below. “Touch me.” I command.
He lifts his bound hands and raises a brow. I Shake my head ‘no.’ He'll have to figure it out. And he does. He brushes them up one leg and I shiver. He traces figure eights at the apex of my thighs. I part my legs in response, then grab his hand and bring it to my mouth. I take his first two fingers as far as they go, getting them wet, before returning them to him.
“Fuck.” He mutters under his breath. He brushes his fingers over my folds and then parts them. The fingers find their way to my entrance and I let out a moan. In response, he dives into me, pulling his fingers almost out before sliding them back in, over and over. His index finger curls inside me and my legs threaten to give out.
“John.” His eyes shoot up to me, as though I’ve said something more jarring than his own name. “I want your tongue.”
I lean back on the rough bark of a nearby tree and tilt my pelvis forward to give him access. He wastes no time in finding my clit, swirling his tongue around it. It’s almost too much all at once and I pull back.
“Can’t handle it?” I give him a halfhearted smack across the cheek, and it gives him all the answer he needs. His mouth finds me again, this time determined and rhythmic. Fuck. Who taught him how to do that?
My fingers find their way into his hair, and I tug at it as his mouth brings me closer and closer to oblivion. As it nears, I can’t hold back my whimpering moans, and he groans in response, the vibration of it sending me over the edge entirely. Braced against the tree, my body tremors in pleasure. When I glance back down he looks too smug.
“What are you smiling about?”
“Oh, nothing. Although you might want to work on your knot tying.” He raises the rope I’d tied around his wrists, his face smug.
I trace a finger down the side of his face, down along his neck. When I reach his chest, I give a hard shove, knocking him back onto the ground. While he’s still in shock, I grasp his hands and pin them down. Now he looks hungry.
“Would you like to be let go?” I ask in the sweetest voice I can muster, fluttering my eyelashes.
He shakes his head once. His eyes do not meet me, but are focused on my breasts which dangle right above him. I know what he wants, so I lean closer and he takes one of my nipples in his mouth. His tongue swirls, and I feel the hardness in his pants against my swollen cunt. I can’t help but rub myself on it and soon can’t take it anymore.
I let go of my grasp on him so I can undo the buttons on his pants. Apparently I take too long, because he slips his hands under mine and whips his cock out for me. My eyes widen and my pussy clenches at the sight. He is much more endowed than I would’ve expected from one of the weak sky people.
“You like what you see?” He is amused, and so I give his cock a light smack. He winces.
“I could kill you.” We smile at one another. This could be a very good arrangement.
I ease myself onto his hard cock. I’m so wet from before that it slips inside me with no resistance. We both let out involuntary moans as I’m filled with him.
“Fuck, your pussy is so tight.” He gasps.
His cock is long enough that I whimper when it is fully sheathed. He looks to pleased at that, so I lean forward and let his cock fall out. He growls in frustration as I thrust my clit on him.
“If you want me to put it back in, you’re going to have to beg.”
“You’re sadistic.”
“You seem to like it quite a bit.” I look down at his cock to drive my point.
“Fine. Please ride my cock?”
“Oh, come on, you can do better than that.”
“(Y/n), please ride my fucking cock, I feel like im going to burst.”
“Yes, John.” I slide him back inside and roll my hips. His hands find their way to my waist and I start to bounce on him. He feels incredible inside me, and I start to ride harder. I want his fucking come inside me.
My hands find their way around his neck, beginning to cut off blood flow. His eyes roll back, and suddenly he’s lifting me up with his hands so that his hips can do all the work. He pounds so hard that he is hitting what feels like the very end of me. I clench around him, wanting it to never fucking end.
“Harder.” He groans, and I oblige, clenching down around his throat.
His face begins to turn color and I start to wonder if I’ve gone too far when he lets out a long, animalistic groan and I feel him twitching inside me. His pleasure goes on longer than I thought possible, and the load inside me must be huge. When he’s finished, I lay forward, letting him remain inside me. We are both spent, our panting breaths nearly in tandem as I lay bare on top of him in the forest.
I place a kiss on his jaw, close to his ear and whisper. “Well, that was fun.”
He cranes his neck to look down on me, his brows furrowed slightly. “Where are you going now?”
I realize I have no idea. I’ve never been without my sister before. So I shrug.
“I’m taking you with me.”

10 Fandoms, 10 Characters
Thank you for the tag @morby
No rules attached to this one so I guess, just go for my faves (Without duplicating a fandom)... I feel like this is going to highlight at least one of my "types" but I guess I've outed myself on that front before rofl.
Tagging forward, with no pressure, to; @faelanvance, @cwritesfiction, @theunboundwriter, @arigalefantasynovels, @acertainmoshke, @avrablake, @ashen-crest, @sleepyowlwrites, @tisiphonewolfe, and anyone else who wants to play! <3
So, without further ado, my Favorite Characters in some of my favourite fandoms, in NO SPECIFIC ORDER...
One
Fandom; Doctor Who. Character; Doctor Who, Tenth Incarnation
David Tennant's run as The Doctor was my favourite. It was a magical combination of a phenomenal actor, a brilliant "companion", and A+ writing team, but it made me fall in love with the character as a whole. Smart, Intellligent, Alien, but also Vulnerable, and ineffably Human.
Tumblr media
Two
Fandom; Marvel Cinematic Universe. Character; Tony Stark
And I do mean "Tony Stark", not "Iron Man". Don't get me wrong, Iron Man is cool, and is definitely my favourite Avenger, but it's because it's Tony Stark inside the suit. It's the intelligence of the character that, again, captivates me and as a writer I see so much potential there. If I wasn't so busy with my own writing projects I'd be very tempted to jump back into fandom again just to have a play with Tony Stark's possibilities.
Tumblr media
Three
Fandom; Sherlock Holmes. Character; Sherlock
This one had to make the list considering my pen name! I've loved many of the Holmes adaptions, and but there's something specifically about Benedict Cumberbatch's Holmes where you can just see that brilliant mind ticking away behind his eyes.
Tumblr media
Four
Fandom; The Mentalist Character; Patrick Jane
I thought the whole Mentalist story was phenomenal, and the backstory for the character of Patrick Jane, genuis. I also love how much Jane is aware that usually he's the smartest person in the room, but is also painfully aware when he's not.
Tumblr media
Five
Fandom; Vincenzo Character; Vincenzo Cassano aka Park Joo-hyung
This is a newer addition to my list, and I've only seen the series once so my memory may be a little shaky, but this was another highly intelligent character. A little vicious, a little violent, but at heart also a good person, and I fell a little in love with the character every episode.
Tumblr media
And now, let me pivot into my second "type"...
Six
Fandom; Lord of the Rings Character; Strider aka Aragorn son of Arathorn
The OG Fandom Fave, Lord of the Rings got me into fanfiction. I began my online writing career by writing a "10th Walker" fanfiction that never saw the light of day, because I've always found Arwen's character very frustrating. Then the films were released, and the rest is history. But give me Strider over the polished King Aragorn any day!
Tumblr media
Seven
Fandom; Shadow and Bone (Netflix) Character; General Aleksander Kirigan aka The Darkling aka Aleksander Morozova
This one is a little more specific because I haven't read the books, so I have ZERO idea how accurate the series is to the original material, but Ben Barnes, specifically, as the Darkling is all my favourite things mixed up into one character. Smart, Intelligent, Damaged, Rough around the edges, In dire need of saving from himself. He's got it all.
Tumblr media
Eight
Fandom; The 100 Character; Prince Roan of Azgeda
Another character that I feel had wasted potential! I think they could have done so much MORE with this character but, much like Shadow and Bone, I've not read the books! So it's possible Prince Roan had a bigger, better, for fulfilling part there than the TV Series.
Tumblr media
Nine
Fandom; The Witcher Character; Geralt of Rivia
Look. I've loved Geralt forever. I loved him in the CDProjecktRed games. I bought the books, and loved him there, and then Henry Cavill went and made the 100% hands down perfect Geralt on screen. What more can I say?
Tumblr media
Ten
Fandom; The Vampire Diaries/The Originals Character; Klaus Mikaelson
Is there a better example of a morally grey character? Not one I've found, to be honest. Klaus has a freaking tragic backstory, and it's completely twisted his worldview. Does he need a good smack upside he head to teach him that his methods are fucked? Absolutely. Does that make me love him any less? Absolutely not!

Bounty Hunter - Betrayal
Tumblr media
Warnings: swearing, violence, death.
Pairing: Bellamy Blake x Grounder!reader.
Word count: 5034.
Series Masterlist.
Masterlist.
You walked through the halls of the tower, memories coming back to you - good and bad. Good were from your time here when you worked for Lexa, things have been peaceful back then, there was no radiation wave coming your way. Bad were from the battle you took place in two days ago. You shook your head and cleared your head, you needed to focus. After hearing some people of Trishanakru talking about challenging the king to a fight for his throne, indicating you had another problem to deal with. So now you were making your way to inform Kane.
You knocked on the door, not five seconds pass and he opens it. “Hey, you need to come with me, Roan was right, Trishanakru have some problems adjusting to their new ruler.”
“Alright then,” he said, closing the door behind him, “let’s go.”
On your way to the throne room you told Kane everything you heard, noticing how his face turned worried. You opened the door, allowing Kane to step in first.
“Forgive the intrusion, Your Highness.” Kane said as he stepped into the room. You saw Echo near the throne, clearly annoyed by your presence. “May we have a word?” His eyes flickered to Echo before he added. “Privately.”
“You can wait like the other ambassadors.” Echo replied, glaring arm the two of you.
“Echo, leave us.” Roan said, making her look at him with surprise. “Please.”
With one last hateful glare sent to your direction, she left the room, leaving you, Kane and Roan alone.
“We were right to be concerned about Trishanakru.” Kane started, stepping closer to the throne. “Rafel is gonna challenge you for control.”
“Bold move for a new ambassador.” Roan said, yet his voice didn’t sound worried, just a little annoyed. “So? Let him come.” He shrugged as he stood up from the throne, making his way closer to where you and Kane were standing.
“No offense, but you’re still recovering, still not strong enough to handle a fight like that.” You said, stepping closer to him. “The law says you can pick someone to fight in your place.”
“No.” He refused. “The clans with never accept a leader who hides behind the law or another warrior’s blood.”
“Then you’ll lose. I mean, Lexa kicked your ass without a bullet hole in your chest.” You said, a taunting smirk on your face, making him slightly glare at you before a small smirk rose on his lips.
“That’s what I have you for. You make sure I’m not gonna lose.”
“We should cancel the gathering or delay until you’re strong enough.” Kane suggested, breaking the stare between you and Roan.
“No.” He said and turned back to his throne. You and Kane shared a worried look. “Letting the ambassadors have a voice keeps the peace here. Azgeda holds this city through force alone, and the Flame won’t keep the clans at bay forever. If they unite against us, we could lose, and if we lose-“
“They come for Skaikru.” You completed for him, understanding where he’s coming from.
“And the radiation comes for us all.”
“No one has to die.” Kane said, not on the same page as you and the king. “The point of our arrangement is to give us the time to find a solution so save everyone.”
“And how is that solution coming?” Roan challenged him.
“We’re working on it. In the meantime, I’m here to keep you in power. Let me talk to the ambassador.”
“Go ahead. Talk.” Roan approved, and Kane turned around, ready to walk away before Roan stopped him. “But if you fail, I’ll have no choice but to fight.”
_________
He swung his sword at you but you ducked away, then blocked his other blow, sending one of your own but he, too, ducked away then dodged another. Before you could deliver another swing with your sword he kick your side, sending you to your knees, then his raised his hand, ready to ‘kill you’, but the pain in his wound stopped him, giving you the leverage to rise to your feet and kick his sword away from him, then holding yours to his neck.
“Fuck.” He muttered before moving your hand that was gripping the sword away from his face, a frustrated look on his face.
“Let me take a look.” Abby said, reminding you she was in the room. She stepped closer to Roan, pulling the collar of his tank down, exposing his wound. “You’re healing, but you need more time.”
“I don’t have time.” He said before walking away from her, his hand on his wound as he picked up his sword. “Again.” He said and turned to you, returning into a fighting stance.
Your eyes flickered to Abby before sending your sword at him. He blocked your hit with his sword before starting to walking backwards while still blocking you. You delivered another blow, only to be blocked by him, then you twisted your sword and aimed for his neck, but he quickly moved out of the way, grunting as the movement hurt him.
“Good, you react quickly.” You said as you turned back to him. His back was facing you and you could see he was breathing through his pain. A slight part of you was worried that maybe you were going too hard on him, but that part was gone when he turned back to you, delivering a strong hit which you quickly blocked. He aimed for your shoulder and you dodged, ducking under his arm and sending your sword back at him, blocked again. He swung his sword but you blocked him using your hand that wasn’t gripping your sword and then hit his shoulder with the butt of your sword, kicking his chest and sending him to the ground.
“You know I can take your place in this fight.” You offered as you stretched your hand for him.
“I will not run from this challenge.” He declined, but gripped your hand nonetheless, he got up with your help and then placed his other hand on your shoulder, leaning on you for a few second and then turning away from you.
“Y/N is right.” Abby said from where she was standing. “I didn’t save your life so that you could tear yourself apart again.”
“I said no. And if you can’t help, then why the fuck are you still here?” He snapped at Abby. She glanced at you before opening the doors behind her, walking out of the room.
“This fight can still be avoided. You realize that everyone knows about your injury and I may be going easy on you but Rafel will not hesitate to use that against you.” You said, twisting the sword in your hand.
“Your only concern should be about helping me win.” He was quick to dismiss you.
“Let me fight for you. You’re no good to anyone if you’re dead.” You insisted. You knew that if Roan loses this fight, it meant death to Skaikru, death to Bellamy. And you couldn’t let that happen.
“You?” He said, amused by your suggestion. “You will fight for Azgeda?”
“Not for Azgeda.” You shook your head. “For peace. So that these people won’t come after Skaikru and wipe them out. Along with our chance of survival.”
“So this is about Skaikru. I spoke with Echo, she believes that they’re not going to save my people, that they just said what they needed to say so that I won’t kill them.” With every word he spoke he stepped closer to you, head cocked to the side as he examined your reaction to his words.
“Echo is wrong. They’re trying to find a solution for us all to survive. Clarke wouldn’t break her promise.” You defended her, but Roan was having none of it.
“Why do you trust them so much, Y/N? Do you really think they consider you as their own? Bellamy and Clarke may have taken a liking to you but they won’t hesitate to save their own people, to choose their own people over you. You defend them like you believe they would defend you, but they won’t.” Slowly, he got inside your head. And he was right, what determined that they won’t let you die if it meant their people lived?
“If they find a solution to the radiation, won’t they save it to themselves? Won’t they save their people before even considering the others? Before considering you?” He kept talking, and he knew he got inside your head as you didn’t open your mouth to argue yet. “After I win, I’m leaving with Echo to Arkadia to see if they lied. You should come with us.”
You looked up at him, only now realizing how close he was. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. “Let’s make sure you win before making promises.”
You kept on training, and every time you’d win it was because of his injury. He won’t win, you knew that. And once he loses, Rafel, along with the other clans, will come after Skaikru. And you couldn’t afford that. Even if what Roan said was true, you still couldn’t bring yourself to not care. So, you did what you do best, you assassinated the ambassador.
You walked through the crowd, eyes trained on the doors separating you from your target. You took one last look around and walked in.
“Em ste hashta gou, pour wine.” It’s about time, pour the wine. Rafel said as soon as he heard you come in. You stood before him, watching how his expression turned into surprise, his dinner forgotten.
“Chon jok belaik yu?” Who the fuck are you? He asked, angry that someone had disturbed his dinner.
“Nokeryon.” You said as you began making your way towards him.
“Fraga.” Murderer. He hissed under his breath. “Taim yu came hir gon frag op ai, yu made wrong move.” If you came here to kill me, you made the wrong move.
“Relax, ai laik nou hir gon frag op yu. Ai laik hir gon make yu an offer. Bak daun, huk op up gon daun. Kos taim bilaik problem ste kom Skaikru, en nou Roan, den kol au ai instead.” Relax, I’m not here to kill you. I’m here to make you an offer. Back down, give up the fight. Because if your problem if the Skaikru, and not Roan, then challenge me instead. You explained to him.
“Yu nou laik worthy opponent gon ai blade, Nokeryon.” You are no worthy opponent for my blade, Nokeryon. He said in clear disrespect, but you had expected that since the moment you represented yourself. You didn’t come here to offer him to fight you instead of Roan, you came here to kill him, in hope he’ll agree yo your offer, which he didn’t.
You chuckled before sending your dagger through his ear, killing him on the spot. Then you wiped away the blood from the dagger and his ear, keeping the napkin in your pocket, leaving no traces behind. You got out through the window, climbing up all the way to a spot where you could jump to the roof of the building beside. Then you exited through that building, making your way back to the tower.
________
“Bilaik highness, bilaik badannes ambassadors.” Your Highness, your loyal ambassadors. The guard called before the door opened, revealing the ambassadors of all the clans, including Kane. You were standing in the crowd, despite Roan’s suggestion of standing beside him. You didn’t accept his offer, and you weren’t a part of Azgeda. Therefor, you saw no point in standing by his side.
“Roan, please, it’s not too late to cancel.” Kane said as he walked over to the throne.
“You failed. We do this Azgeda’s way.” Roan dismissed him. “Won gonplei.” Single combat. “Take your seat, ambassador.” As Kane made his way to his seat, Roan’s eyes fell on the seat of Trishanakru, finding another person instead of Rafel.
“Where is Rafel kom Trishanakru?” He asked, only to be met with silence that broke as Echo stepped into the room, making her way to Roan and whispering something in his ear. You guessed she was telling him about Rafael’s death. His eyes flickered to Kane for a second before he rose to his feet.
“The ambassador was found dead this morning.” He announced the room. “His heart stopped.” His eyes met yours before he lowered his head. “Hofli keryon kom Heda guide em klirnes hou.” May the spirit of the Commanders guide him safely home. After he said the small prayer he returned back to his seat. “Let us begin.”
________
You sat in your room, sharpening your sword as thoughts clouded your brain. Roan had asked to see you. You knew he knew you killed Rafel, however you didn’t know if he was happy you did that, or angry. Either way you did what you had to do, Roan is alive and Skaikru isn’t under any threat.
A knock on the door drew your attention, making you stop your doings. “Kom op raun.” Come in. You called, standing up.
Kane entered the room, a radio in his hand and a worried look on his face.
“What’s this about?” You question as you walked over to him.
“Bellamy just radioed, Luna and a few Grounders have reached Arkadia, sick from radiation.” He informed you. You mouth opened slightly as your eyes widened. It’s here.
“Already? I though we had time.” You said but he shook his head.
“We have time until everything is destroyed, however black rain and radiation sickness can’t be avoided throughout the way.” He pushed before continuing. “Nyko is there, too.”
“Is he okay?” You immediately asked, horrified by the thought of Nyko suffering.
“He is, for now. Y/N, it’s time for you to go there. Abby already came back and it’s been more than a week.”
“No,” you shook your head, “not yet, there’s still so much to do.”
“I understand, but none of these things are your responsibility. Go, I talked to Bellamy and there is a room for you with him, it’s safe there.”
Your heart beat faster at the mention of Bellamy. You did miss him, a lot. And you were afraid he would be mad at you for not returning and for breaking your promise. With that, you were still needed here by Roan and you still weren’t ready to live the comfort of Polis. You didn’t care if that made you a coward.
“I appreciate your effort, Kane, but I need to go, Roan is expecting me.” You said and quickly stepped out of the room. You couldn’t think about what he said right now, you needed to stay focused.
You opened the doors, in the throne room was only Roan, standing by the table.
“You asked for me?” You said, announcing your presence. His gaze fell on you, however you could see that he wasn’t angry, which made you feel a little relieved.
“Yes. I need you to do something for me.” He said, his voice stern. “The Flame’s been stolen.” He stepped closer to you.
“Well, that’s not good.” You muttered. “If the words gets out you lost the Flame then you can say bye bye to the people’s respect and submission.”
“Exactly. Whoever did this got in and out of the tower without being seen. In order to risk that, she’s have to care more about the Flame than her own life.”
“She? You know who did this?” You stoped him.
“Yes, the new Flamekeeper. I need you to find her, and to bring the Flame to me, along with her head. I’m pretty sure it won’t be hard for, would it, Nokeryon?” He took another step your way, cocking his head to the side. “I need you to take care of this like you took care of Rafel.”
You opened your mouth to try and justify yourself but he quickly stopped you.
“Don’t worry, I’m not mad about that. I’m just saying it’s going to be a little hard to put my trust in you when you do things behind my back.”
“I did that so you’d live, and I knew you wouldn’t allow me if I had asked you.” You explained.
He stared at you for a second before nodding his head. “Thank you, then. I appreciate it.”
His words surprised you a little but you didn’t let it show instead nodding your head.
“You’re welcome, that’s what I’m here for. Now, I’ll go take care of the Flame.”
________
Finding the Flamekeeper was the easy part of the job. You knew about the room, the sacred room of the Flamekeepers. Lexa had told you about it when you were working for her. You opened the door quietly, stepping in.
She was standing by the table, her back turned to you.
“So you’re the new Flamekeeper.” You said, alerting her of your presence.
“This is a sacred place. Leave before you get hurt.” She warned you.
You walked closer to her. “Give me the Flame and I will.”
Her face showed surprise but she quickly recovered. “It does not belong to you or your red-blooded king.”
You pulled out your sword as a last warning. “I can’t let you keep it.”
“You don’t have a choice.”
You nodded before swinging your sword at her, which she quickly dodged. She knocked the sword out of your grip and and aiming your your stomach. You duck and grabbed her leg, sending her to the floor, pinning her down and taking out your knife. You located the Flame in a chain around her neck, smiling.
“I didn’t know they trained Flamekeepers.” You said with a chuckle. “Well, clearly they didn’t train you hard enough.”
You raised your knife, ready to stab her in the heart before a voice stopped you.
“Y/N, stop. Put down the knife.”
You looked to your right and saw Indra standing by the entrance with a warning look on her face.
“Why the fuck should I do that? She stole the Flame.” You asked her, still gripping your knife.
“She is my daughter.”
That made you withdraw from her, standing up. “So what? You expect me to spare her? Roan will never accept that, you know it.”
“I do.” She said and walked to her daughter. “Give me the Flame, Gaia.”
“It’s around her neck.” You said as Gaia glared at her mother.
“That’s nothing, a totem she’s worn since she joined the faith.” She said, making you sigh. “You are interfering in matters you do not understand.” Indra spoke to her daughter.
“Wrong.” She corrected her. “I’m a Flamekeeper. I’m honoring my faith, a faith you once believed in.”
“Don’t you question my devotion.” Indra warned her.
“A devoted follower would die before giving the Flame to an unworthy king, an Azgeda king.” She spat. “You perverted our faith. Heda would be ashamed.”
“I’m doing my best for Trikru.” Indra explained herself. “You would understand that if you had stayed and done your duty.”
“I was called.” Gaia said, tears breaming in her eyes.
“My daughter was not meant to wander the earth looking for Nightbloods. My daughter was meant to lead armies. My daughter was meant to lead our people.”
You felt for Gaia, you really did. A mother who expects you to be exactly what she wanted regardless of your own feelings was something unfair at its finest. However time was passing and you needed to get this done with, before Roan came with questions.
“Roan sent me here to kill you.” You said, cutting their conversation short. “If I don’t came back with the Flame he will send others.”
“The spirit of the Commanders deems it my time, then so be it.” Gaia said, making you scrunch your eyebrows with confusion.
“So you want to die?” You chuckled. “Well, that makes my job a hell lot easier then.”
“Don’t talk like that.” Indra said, not looking away from Gaia.
“I could run.” Gaia suggested.
“He’ll find you.”
A bang on the door made all three of you turn towards it.
“The looters.” Indra informed.
“If they find the Flame, they’ll destroy it.” Gaia said, her voice shaking slightly. Another bang came along with cheering of the people outside.
“I’ll take the tunnel.” Gaia said and turned and grabbed her pack.
You looked at Indra, tears now dry on her cheeks. It made you think of Lincoln, of what he’d do. He was close to Indra, he would never let her child die. And so would you. With your decision made, you walked after Gaia, grabbing her arm. “Wait. You don’t have to run, you only need to get them out of here. Using that.” You grabbed the totem she wore on her neck. “Switch it with the real one and once they get the box, they’ll think they won.”
She stared at you with hesitation but her mother was quick to back you up. “Do as she says, it’s a good plan.”
The looters barged into the room, but Gaia had already switched the Flame for the totem. You picked up your sword from where you dropped it and joined Indra and Gaia.
“Drop your weapons.” One of them said after the had you surrounded.
“You’re making a mistake.” Gaia said, looking around the room.
“We just want the tech, no one has to get hurt.” He replied.
You dropped your sword along with the both of them, raising your hands. You groaned as one grabbed you, keeping you from moving.
“Give me the pack.” One said as he approached Gaia, snatching it from her hands.
“No. No. Let go. Give that back.” She pleaded but he ignored her and opened it, pulling out the small box with the skull on top of it. He gave it to who seemed to be their leader. He pulled the Flame out and examined it.
“Please. That’s not tech. That’s the spirit of the Commanders.” Gaia tried but he just ignored her and walked over to the table, placing it on top.
“Please, you don’t have to do this.” You said, joining in the game of pretending.
“Yes, I do.” He said and stepped back. “Gon ai nomon.” For my mother. He said before crushing the Flame.
The guys that were holding the three of you let go and cheered in delight. They began to destroy the room, throwing and ruining everything.
After they left you, Indra and Gaia stayed to fetch the box and the Flame for you to give to Roan. You picked up the box from the floor and then took the whatever’s left of the Flame in your hand before turning around to see Gaia holding the now empty pendant.
“Sorry about your necklace.” You said to her, but she dismissed it with a smile. “Don’t. It was a good plan.” You gave her the box wordlessly, watching as she put the Flame inside. “Thank you.”
“Why did you help her?” Indra asked, making you turn to her.
“Lincoln.” You admitted. “I knew he wouldn’t have let Gaia die, I think he had some good influence on me after all.” You said with a small smile before turning around and walking out of the room, leaving the mother and her daughter behind.
Now, you only had one problem to deal with, Roan asked for her head, however you couldn’t give that to him. So, you settled on killing one of the looters.
________
The doors opened, allowing you to step in. In one hand you gripped the back with the looter’s head inside and in the other the Flame as you walked towards Roan.
“Leave us.” He told the guards and they soon left the room, leaving you alone. You dropped the bag on the floor, revealing what’s inside.
“He was one of the looters.” You explained. “You were wrong about the Flamekeeper.”
He looked from the head on the floor to you. “And the Flame?”
You offered him your hand and he stretched his own, allowing you to placed the broken pieces of the totem on it. “Destroyed before I could kill him. I’m sorry.”
He stared at you for a few seconds before throwing the pieces in one of the small fires keeping the light in the room.
“It’ll be more dangerous now. More people will have to die to keep me in power, not that that bothers you, Nokeryon.”
“People fell in line behind the Flame. Now they’ll fall in line behind the sword.” You simply said, although his taunting did anger you.
“Let’s hope Clarke finds a way to save us before they have to.”
________
You looked around the room before spotting Kane at his desk, then you made your way over to him. He had called you to talk about something you were still not aware of, but you had a hunch. As you got closer to his desk you saw him putting down the radio and then turning to you, motioning with his hand for you to sit down.
“So, you called me. Talk.”
He leaned both his elbows on the desk and interlocked his hands before speaking. “Rumors of the Flame’s destruction are spreading. People on the street openly call for the king’s head. Your choices have consequences.”
“Should I have just killed Indra’s daughter?” You shot back, not liking where this conversation was going.
“I’d rather you didn’t kill.”
You sighed before speaking again. “Our mission is to keep Roan on the throne and buy time for the others back at Arkadia to figure out a solution for the radiation wave. I’m doing just that.”
“By decapitating an innocent boy.” He argued, making you more impatient.
“Look, I did what I had to do in order to keep peace so that your people will be safe. I’m not apologizing for that.” You shrugged.
“I’m asking you to apologize, and I do appreciate what you’ve done for my people, for Bellamy. And I think it’s time for you to go to Arkadia. He’s expecting you, Y/N. I promise I’ll handle things here the best I can.”
You thought for a second before answering, but as you opened your mouth a voice behind you interrupted.
“Chancellor Kane, the king would like to see you.”
You turned to see an Azgeda guard standing behind you, his gaze focused on Kane.
“Go to Arkadia, Y/N.” He said before walking away with the guard.
You exited the ambassadors’ building, you mind made up. You were going to leave Polis and go to Arkadia. Kane was right, it has been a long time and your job was done. Now, you had to go tell Roam the news.
As you walked in, you saw Roan and Echo along with a few guard packing up weapons, clearly getting ready for something.
“What’s going on?” You asked, drawing Roan’s attention to you.
“Remember when I told you Echo was going to see if Clarke was telling the truth?” He asked. You walked to where he was by the table and nodded. “Well, she wasn’t. She was lying.” He leaped forward and grabbed you by your shoulders, keeping a strong grip on you. “Did you know?”
“Did I know what?” You asked, trying to get loose from his grip but he was too strong.
“About the machine, the one they were building for their own people?” He yelled, shaking you violently.
“Machine? I don’t know what you’re talking about, they didn’t tell me anything. Let go of me.” You said as you kept trying to get away from his grip.
“Did you know they were making Nightbloods?” He asked, ignoring your pleas.
“Making Nightbloods?” You scrunched your face in confusion, not know what the fuck he was talking about. “How is that-“ you gasped when you realized. “Clarke! They turned her into a Nightblood when she had to take both the Flame and the chip in order to get into the City Of Light without Alie knowing.”
“How did they do this?” He questioned, and you felt his grip slowly loosening.
“I don’t- I’m not sure but I think they transferred blood from Ontari’s body to Clarke’s.”
He finally let you go, pacing a little before coming to a stop in front of you. “We’re leaving for Arkadia, you should come with us.”
“Sire-“ Echo started but he paid no attention to her.
“Leaving for Arkadia, why?”
“They lied to us, to you. They’ve been working on a solution for their own these past three weeks, not a solution for all of us. We’re going to show them what happens when you betray Azgeda.” You immediately shook your head at his words, refusing his plan.
“No, I can’t let you do that and I won’t join you.” You said and took a step away from him.
“Our alliance with Trikru is broken, along with Skaikru. Now, you’re either with us, or against us. Choose wisely, Y/N, I’d hate to see you die because you were being stupid.”
You shook your head and started waking back towards the exit, your hand on your knife. You were ready to turn around and flee but a guard grabbed you from behind, locking your arms to your sides.
“I don’t want to do this, but you’ve left me no choice.” Roan said, but all he got from you was a glare.
You managed to pull out your knife, then you twisted it and stabbed the guard that was holding you in the leg before throwing your head back. After escaping his hold you raised your knife, turning to all the guards in the room, ready to fight your way free.
“I wouldn’t go on a fight right now if I were you.” Echo spoke, but that’s not the part that made you turn to her. “Especially when we have your boyfriend.”
That made you turn to her, eyebrows brought together as you tried to make sense of her words. “Bellamy?”
Before she could answer to you a strong hit has made its way to your head, making you drop to the floor, unconscious.

Clan Building // royalty
Tumblr media
the king/queen and the royal family were at the very top of azgeda everyone knew them and feared them. the royal guard were right below them but still the most respected warriors in azgeda. while azgeda leadership is undoubtedly a dictatorship the king or queen do take their people’s opinions into consideration, inside the throne room, there is a large rectangular fire pit in the middle of the room. at the end of the fire pit stands a throne reserved of course for the king/queen. smaller chairs are set along the sides of the fire pit, these are for ambassadors, advisors and war chiefs.
Tumblr media
becoming king/queen in azgeda culture takes more than being the eldest child, all the current rulers children have an equal chance to take the throne after their parents death. royal children are raised similar to how nightbloods are raised, (this is why roan was able to fight as well as he did against lexa and luna.) when the current ruler dies their children are put in a conclave together, winner takes the throne. rulers are expected to have many children leaving the best possible warrior to take over azgeda.

come morning light (Rated M) [Chronicles of Narnia - Susan/Caspian] 3/3 - @probably-voldemort
Seven years ago, Susan and her siblings were sent away from a war to the safety of the country side only to be thrust into another war. As the years wear on, their soldiers return from battle fewer and fewer in number, and the graves multiply overnight. Running out of options and manpower, their last chance is proposing an alliance with the King of Telmar, a kingdom seemly just barely allied with the Witch and itching to get out from under her power. Susan walks into the meeting with the King with Edmund at her side and little hope left in her heart, and leaves with an alliance that could turn the tide of the war - and a husband.
wishing on city lights (Not Rated) [Spider-Man - Michelle Jones/Peter Parker] 2/3 - @libraryidealist
Peter loves the city lights. Loves his work at the law firm, loves his best friend Ned, loves dancing. And he might love that girl with ink-stained fingertips and fire in her steps. Michelle loves dancing too, although she would never tell. She loves rainy days in her small apartment and hearing secrets in the halls of Brant Enterprises. She most certainly doesn't love the young lawyer with eyes like copper and honey. But life amid flapper girls and mafia bars isn't easy, and when your millionare best friends get engaged and the dance floor is small, a girl with fire in her heart and a boy with care in his hands might get along after all.

He's been given many honours and opportunities, and now his match to a wealthy merchant's daughter will give him money and connections as well. He's grateful, really he is. But sometimes he wonders if it's really what he wants. “Is something the matter, Briar?” Sandry asked.Briar sighed. “No, it’s nothing, I just…” He trailed off, not sure how to explain it without sounding ungrateful.Sandry studied him for a moment. “Are you nervous?” she asked. “I wouldn’t have expected it of you; you’re always so confident – but this is a significant moment for you.”“I suppose I am,” Briar said slowly. Nervous wasn’t exactly how he’d describe it, but he could work with it. “I just… wasn’t expecting this. Marriage was never really something I considered for myself – given my upbringing, you know.”

Even Boulders (Rated T) [The 100 - Bellamy & Clarke (+ Surprising Pairing!)] 1/3 - @wwjacksparrowd
As queen of the island country Populise, Clarke always knew she would have to marry someday to continue the royal line. However, she had at least expected to be able to choose her own spouse.
