"Everyone, say cheese!"

Koala, unconcerned that only Sabo followed her instruction, lifted the camera higher and put her hand in victory sign, smiling widely. Careful not to drop it, she pushed the button and a few seconds later the polaroid came out. She took it to fully appreciate the mess before her, forever immortalized on film.

Sabo was smiling from ear to ear and putting both his thumbs up, not caring that spilled water was pulling under his boots. In contrast, Yonji crouched down, put his head in hands and looked like he would prefer to be anywhere else.

The captured guard dangling from the ceiling looked mostly confused, if a little less fearful for his life. Well, that'll need to be corrected.

"Let me seeeee," Sabo whined next to her ear. Still smiling, she pushed his head away without any remorse.

"It's mine now, get your own."

"Oh came on, it's not fair! I lost my camera at the base, you know that!"

"I found it and put it on your desk."

His head snapped. "What? Where?!"

"Next to the paperwork from last week." At his blank stare she added: "You know, the one you were supposed to look over and check if everything's alright before we left two days ago?"

Too late to avoid the trap, Sabo did the only smart thing and changed the subject.

"Man, who's the real red one in your family, your brother or you? Maybe we should call you tomato instead of onion." He left her side and picked up now-empty bucket. "It's been a while since I've seen someone fumble interrogation this badly. Isn't a member of the 'legendary mercenary army' supposed be professional in this things?"

Yonji raised his head, his cheeks blooming red.

"I thought when you're waterboarding someone you lift the water up, not pull the guy down. That's why I used stronger knot here." He pointed at the hook the rope was connected to. "How was I supposed to know it's the other way around!"

"Oh, I was wondering about that," Koala interjected. "Weird way to tie it."

"Why didn't you say anything?" he groaned.

She shrugged. "I thought it was some weird Germa way. People learn all their life."

"Well, I just thought it was funny," said Sabo, before focusing on Yonji again. "Wait, with all the war crimes* under your belt, you never waterboarded anyone before?"

Yonji cringed and sunk his head.

"We weren't tasked with capturing people that often, much less interrogate them. Our employers usually wanted to do that themselves. Confident information and all that," he mumbled from behind his hands. He curled further, which was honestly impressive considering his size. Like a mastiff trying to fit inside the cat basket. She reached her hand to pat his hair.

"There there, it wasn't that bad for the first time."

"We won't tell a soul, promise," Sabo lied. "But I can't talk for this one." He gripped the rope and grinned at their guest. "Are you a talker, sir?"

The prisoner gulped at being in the spotlight again and furiously shook his head.

"No? Oh my, that's so unlucky! If you were a talker, this could go a lot faster," Sabo pouted. "As you can see, my friend over there spilled all the water for you. Which means one of two things; either you'll make it easier for all of us and answer a few questions, or-" He sighed dramatically. "We will have to improvise with what we got. And it's going to be bloody shame if you don't last to the end of it." He flashed him a wide smile with way too much teeth.

Fascinating, Koala thought. I didn't know you can lose all the blood in your face while hanging upside down.

Koala plopped on the bench between her boys, handing each an ice-cream cone.

Yonji took his and stared at it for a while before turning to smile at them.

"Is this what you guys usually do on missions? I could get used to it."

Koala scratched her neck. "Well, not exactly usually, but sometimes it goes like that. It's a lot less threatening and a lot more running and sneaking around on most days. With occasional explosion or two." She side-eyed Sabo, who looked annoyingly unrepentant.

"Since it's the first time you were going with us, we picked something more up your line." Sabo licked his ice-cream. "Of course, if we knew how much you'll screw it up, we would have given you something different to fuck."

Koala whacked him in the back of the head.

"We agreed not to talk about this anymore! You made fun of him enough already!" She looked back at Yonji. "And why are you blushing!"

"You really are a tomato!"

"Argh, I swear..." Koala huffed and went back to her food. "Why do I even bother."

This just get her twin snickers from the sides. She rolled her eyes but smiled. It went well all things considered. Their captive's tongue seemed to loosen a lot once he realized that everyone in the room was clinically insane, which she was more than happy to contribute to, so the mission went smoothly afterwards.

"One thing i don't understand," she broke the silence. "Why did that guy want your autograph? You don't even have a wanted poster."

"Oh, it's probably because my family is technically main villains of a surprisingly popular vintage comic strip from North Blue. I'm the green one."

Koala nodded.

"Yeah, that makes- You're WHAT?!"

A foreword; I write in accordance to my free time, and I’m currently both a student at uni and working a job, which means I don’t have much free time on my hands. I truly appreciate all the patience you’ve given me, and continue to give me, for my past, present, and future works. Thank you for being with me along the way! With this being said, I might take only a handful of requests at a time, whether that’s frequently or infrequently, and it’s important to note: I reserve the right to turn down a request I’m uncomfortable with, or feel I will not enjoy writing, even if it follows my rules and request guidelines. I’ve lived a life of pleasing others, in both my writing and in my skillsets, and I think it’s about time that I use my hobbies for my own enjoyment as well. I will do my best to fulfill every request I receive, but I can’t do that unless I set boundaries and limitations. Thank you for your understanding!

My Rules:

Please limit your requests to two (2) characters or less for a scenario request, and five (5) characters or less for a headcanon request. These numbers may be subject to change in the future.

Vague summary of this year's Vinsmoke Shipping Week!

Day 1 - Meet cute / MortalxImmortal

Overall, Yonji (most shipped with Cosette this day) took over, followed closely by Reiju (with Perona) Niji and then Ichiji, both of whom had very diverse shipping!

Day 2 - First date / DetectivexCriminal

Apparently people decided that that day was ReijuxTashigi day, and it makes sense lmao, Yonji takes second place and Niji and Ichiji share third!

Day 3 - Meeting family-friends / DevilxAngel

Yonji's day again! (Mostly with Sabo this time), closely followed by Niji (with Uta), then Ichiji, and Reiju and Zosan share fourth place.

Plus a surprise Judge w Sora in their younger days!

Day 4 - Red String of Fate / HeroxVillain

Ichiji really took over this day! (With Katakuri), then was Niji (with Usopp), Yonji took third place and last came Reiju (with Kiku) and then we got surprise Sparking Red X Sora Warrior of the Sea!

Day 5 - Love Letter / RoyalxKnight

Another Yonji day! (With Cosette), second place is shared by Reiju (with Tashigi), Niji and Ichiji (with Ace), plus some Sanami at the end!

Day 6 - Jealousy / CelebrityxFan

Ichiji, Niji (with Uta) and Reiju (with Tashigi) share first place! Yonji takes second and we got some Acesan in last.

Day 7 - Free day!

Ichiji sweep! (With Ace) Second place to Sanji (with Zoro), third for Yonji and fourth for both Niji and Reiju. And some surprise SoraxZeff!

What would happen if Niji saw Cosette hurt like she was in chapter 839?

[This is a short fic and I’m keeping Cosette the Revolutionary AU here. This is right after the event of my fic “Castle”, as Cosette remained by Niji’s side after the Whole Cake Island Arc. When she come back from war, she needed her injuries healed as soon as possible but the certain blue-haired prince came in and questions her wounds. Warning: Niji x Cosette pairing. Both of them are secretly a “thing” in this fic.]

Broken but Pretty

Cosette had spent her entire vacation from Germa with her friends Sabo and Koala, once again at the war field of island between the corrupted kingdom and revolutionary. Unfortunately, the enemy soldier has managed to inflict a rather brutal wounds on her. Cosette’s face was bruised and scratched, and she needed to heal them quickly before royal princes of Germa would suspect her condition. Then again, she could lie as she was ended up beaten by drunkards.

“Dang it… I seriously need more ointments, band-aids and I don’t see any of it here…” She was looking for another first-aid kit.

Her left cheek was burning with scratch, as blood oozed out a bit. She didn’t have any ointment to cover up her injured cheeks.

“I seriously need it, otherwise I will get more beatings here…” She muttered rather loudly.

And that was the moment she regretted to blabbed it.

“What are you doing?” She heard a rather deep, youthful voice that belonged to none other than…

“….Prince… Niji..?” She yelped meekly.

Vinsmoke Niji stood by the doorway of Cosette’s room. As she unconsciously turned around and faced him, he frowned deeply at the sight of bandage around her head and bruised face. Cosette gulped in fear as the prince just saw the wounds on her face. Bruised eye, scratched cheek with a bit of blood, and her lips were slightly swollen and bloodstained.

“What happened to your face?” He asked as his arms crossed over his chest.

“Uhh… I was just being clumsy…” She lied miserably.

And this only stimulated Niji’s frustration.

“You’re lying, twit… I know you’re not this clumsy to trip yourself bleeding…,” Niji growled, “tell me where did you get those wounds…, or you will get a double fist dance on your face!”

Niji’s threat always get Cosette, for she know how brutal he can be when it comes to his temper. She flinched as she was slightly fearful of him, but she knew she cannot tell him the truth so she made up a lie that’d be more believable.

“I… I was attacked by drunk soldiers back at my home country…,” she managed to speak as she looked down, “… and I needed the ointments for my injuries…”

Niji kept glanced at the girl who’s submissively looking down in shame. Unable to force her to speak more, he sighed heavily as he nearly prevented himself from punching the walls. He seriously wanted to maimed whoever that broke his doll, toy, or whatever he could refer to the head chef. But…, he also didn’t want to let her leave in search for any medical equipments.

“Alright… here’s our deal,” he spoke in commanding tone, “I will not question more about your wounds, and you are spared from my double fist dance for today.”

Cosette blinked her eyes.

“But…,” Niji continued, “the only things I will gain in return… is that you stay and not dare to move a finger, and you will never speak of whatever happened starting now.., understood?”

She quickly nodded her head, obliging and unaware of what he was going to do. The blue-haired prince approached and observed her face. In case if she might try to run away, his hands grabbed her arms tightly and leaned forward. Cosette’s eyes were blinking continuously until she saw what he did next.

His face leaned towards her left cheek. And without any hesitation, he began to moistening her scratched cheek, his tongue licked a reddened spot. Cosette was frozen at the spot she stood, her hands shivering as her face turned pinkish.

“W…what are you—” She tried to move away but his grip grew tighter.

“What are you, deaf?! I said do not dare to move a finger.” He scowled in a low voice.

Hearing Niji’s annoyed tone, she obeyed again. His eyes noticed a vague, but scratched spot on her temple, and her ear. He inwardly sighed and proceeded to “clean” away a bit of blood from her cheek. Cosette then felt his tongue moved to her ear and she barely released her whimpering when he licked it. Peculiarly, she felt nothing but a rather arousing warmness and less pain as he gently bit her ear. Niji didn’t care about her expression as he was secretly amused with the fact that Cosette stopped resisted his advances.

Niji briefly pulled away as his eyes are now focusing on her swollen, slightly bloodstained lips. Cosette inwardly yelped as she could see him licked his lips with barely curled smile.

‘Wait… don’t tell me he’s gonna…’ Cosette couldn’t finish her thought.

With a forceful pull, Niji brushed his lips to hers. Cosette felt a shiver running down her spine as she closed her eyes, kept her mouth shut making a thin line. Glaring, Niji’s hand grabbed her right cheek as it was slightly turned away from him.

“Oi,” he began with dangerously low voice, “who told you to keep them shut?”

Cosette kept closed her eyes, but as she heard his threatening tone her lips ceased to make a thine line. Taking this as an opportunity, he nibbled her bottom lips and proceeded to sucking and licking away small pinch of blood. Instead of stinging pain she previously felt, Cosette sensed a pleasing effect but she managed to prevent herself from reciprocate the ‘treatment’, reminding herself as a lowly maid while the man in front of her was a prince.

Three minutes of the treatment had Niji out of breath as he pulled away, licking the rest that has smudged on his lips. Judging his gesture, she could figure out that he was done ‘healing’ her face. Seeing a loosened bandage around her head, Niji’s one hand reached out and taped it a bit tightly around her forehead.

“Just get well and go back as a pretty toy of mine,” he spoke in mysterious tone, “if not… I’ll bring more than what I just did…”

Cosette remained frozen until he walked out of her room. And when he was out of her sight, her face grew extremely red as tomato and nearly collapsed on her bed. Meanwhile, when Niji walked out of her room, he walked faster and faster, blaming himself for what he had just did to his ten-years-and-still-ongoing infatuation. Ignoring Yonji’s call, Niji growled loudly until he reached to his room.
