#kotlc beguilers
Note
oaky you mentioned wanting to have more info on Beguilers and i’ve got a handful of headcannon so
they don’t get sweet talk people, they can cause fear, calm people down, and change the emotion of their voice with ease no matter how they really feel. which is useful in politics because no matter how they feel about a situation they can keep a calm front and appear to be in effected by what’s happening around them. but it results in a lot of them not knowing how to express emotions properly
it’s a relatively rare ability (though not as rare as Telepaths) but it’s not uncommon to have a second ability manifest if they’re a Beguiler, and is second to Polyglots in having a second ability. ratio wise
when the ability is being used the Beguliers eyes will subtly flash with ripples of light, if a Beguiler is good at what they do they can time their blinking to go along with the flashing so it won’t be noticeable.
These are super cool! The "not knowing how to express emotions properly" is really interesting to me, since on the kotlcopedia Beguiling was connected to both emotional and vocal abilities in the ability chart, and Empaths are notorious for not properly expressing emotions. It makes me wonder if an Empath parent could have a Beguiler child or vice versa.
Ooh I love the ripples of light in the Beguiler's eye idea, that's so fun to picture! Thanks for sending me your hcs, they're awesome :D

What do you think Keefe’s exact ability is? And what are the exact differences between his ability, mesmerizing and beguiling?
I'm gonna answer this a little in reverse. The difference between Mesmerising and Beguiling is that Mesmers only control someone's physical actions, but the person stays fully conscious and aware of themself. Think Edaline telling Grady off as he controls her, and Brant arguing back while he burned off his hand. Beguiling, conversely, is a subtle influence only of people's emotions to prompt them to do things of their "own" will.
I think Keefe, based on what we've seen, is somewhere between these two. It sounds like he's directly commanding someone both physically and emotionally via emotions (his tone). He commanded everyone in the healing center to "numb", and their emotions turned off. He commanded the triplets to "stop", and they both physically froze and stopped feeling emotions. He commanded Ro to "sleep", and she was out--she was asleep so we don't know her emotional state, but my guess was her emotions would've been "asleep" too.
His ability is theorized to be a merging of empathy, polyglotism, and conjuring, so using that terminology we could describe it as: based on the emotions he experiences and senses, he uses his affinity for words and tone to conjure (which is instantaneous) an emotional and physical (as emotions are also a physical response) response in his target.
I don't know if that description makes a lot of sense, but it's how I've been understanding it as I read :)

What if Jensi manifests as a Beguiler and his moment of climactic glory is beguiling all the villains to their own deaths?

Okay okay okay. My KOTLC oc’s from when I was 11, all recently recovered from my notes app.
Edit: upon reading it again i think the vibes are telling me I was actually 13. Still. These are old OC’s and I’m surprised by how much I adore them
These were all created when nightfall was the latest book so… do with that what you will.
But I’m falling back in love with them 🥹
@swans-chirping-in-the-distance @sophieswundergarten @thesmartpaladin @autistic-daydreamer (since you guys asked about them :D)
Names (in order):
Avana Crane
Kaslyn Crane
Timon Kester
Haylyn Zuni
Danisa Madella
Bios are below the cut!
Avana Crane
- works for the Neverseen as a double agent for the Black Swan. Works for the Black Swan as a double agent for the Neverseen. Both organizations think they are on their side. Only she knows what side she is on… and even then, she’s not really sure. She just wants change and knows one way or another, one of these groups will eventually succeed.
- she hides the fact that she ever manifested an ability so no one can prepare for what she can do. She uses the fact that she is “talentless” as her reason for distrusting the council to get both the neverseen and black swan to feel sympathetic for her. (She is a mesmer. Her chaos capabilities with this being a secret are impossible to match.) I headcanon that neither organization ever had a real reason to probe her mind, but if anything about it comes up in her memories when someone looks through her mind, she blushes and says she always daydreams about having this super powerful special ability since she never got one, and since she’s seventeen and there’s no reason for them to assume she’d hide an amazing ability during a time of her life when she should want to be accepted, everyone just goes with it.
- Never really works close to Sophie and her friends in the black swan, but gets to know Keefe while he’s with the neverseen. He’s really bad at pretending he doesn’t care about the Moonlark, but as someone who is playing both sides expertly, Avana can’t judge him… she does MAJORLY ship Sokeefe though.
- Mr. Forkle absolutely knows she has loyalties all over the place. He also knows she has a special ability. He shares this information with no one because he is very impressed with how effective she is at making things happen and doesn’t want to jeopardize that—and she clearly meant it when she said “I will do everything in my power to help my world” when swearing fealty. He is the ONLY one who knows. Nobody with the neverseen has a clue.
Kaslyn Crane
@kaslynspeaks I literally named this character when I was eleven, but now that I look at her name again all I can think of is you lol
- Avana’s little sister (fourteen years old)
- Beguiler & Polyglot
- mainly exists to give Avana a reason to burst into tears and play the “I just want the future to be better for my sister” card with both rebel groups (despite the fact that her sister is… three years younger than her) and to be Timon Kester’s eventual love interest!
- has an impossible crush on Keefe Sencen. Avana has heard his name multiple times out of the mouth of her little sister by the time she meets him with the neverseen, which is part of why she’s so quick to trust him. However, Kaslyn is more than aware that he’ll never love anyone but Sophie… she just deludes herself sometimes!
Timon Kester
- Timon was adopted by his aunt and uncle after his parents decided they didn’t want him anymore. He manifested as a polyglot at age 13, and his parents said this was an essentially useless ability on its own. Timon didn’t want to stay with them anyway. They were the worst
- Timon and Kaslyn are good friends and talk to each other in other languages just to mess with their friends. Timon likes Kaslyn a LOT, but Kaslyn is, as previously mentioned, hopelessly in love with Keefe Sencen (who barely knows she exists). Timon wonders if he should start acting out bc of home troubles… maybe that would get Kaslyn’s attention…
- Timon sorta wants to join the Black Swan after hearing little stuff about it since it’s become sorta mainstream to know about it by nightfall. He’s like hey that’s cool, I like what they seem to stand for… however the ticket in at this point seems to be having a shared traumatic experience with Sophie Foster and Timon has zero idea how to get one of those
- Timon thinks Kaslyn’s older sister is REALLY sketchy, but he can’t say that because he’s afraid of seeming prejudiced against talentless people. Avana gives him weird vibes though.
Haylyn Zuni
- Haylyn is a hydrokinetic in level one at foxfire that Linh has taken under her wing
- She is eleven and also is VERY young to manifest. Linh recognizes herself in Haylyn and bonds with her quickly, helping her control her powers
- Haylyn asks Linh about joining the black swan exactly once. Linh says it involves a lot of almost-dying and Haylyn goes back on this, saying she’s happy to support the black swan but definitely doesn’t need in on the almost-dying thing.
- Haylyn thinks Marella is AWESOME. Since Linh and Marella hang out a lot, Haylyn sees Marella around quite a bit. One time, Haylyn tells Marella how cool pyrokinesis, and how part of her wishes she got to be a pyrokinetic. Marella is absolutely shellshocked and realizes that the prejudice against her ability isn’t being taught as strongly in school as it used to be, and that real progress is being made. Haylyn tells Linh that she’s glad she’s a hydrokinetic though because it means she gets to play water with her. Haylyn is ADORABLE.
**side note: I characterized eleven-year-old Haylyn as VERY juvenile for someone who was currently eleven at the time. I am… sort of thrown off by this??? Like I LOVE Haylyn, but come on Little Katie, you were literally her age…**
Danisa Madella
- Danisa is Haylyn’s friend her age!!
- she hasn’t manifested an ability yet but when she does, she’ll be a shade—which will throw everyone way off because she’s the most bright, sparkly person ever
- she’s super optimistic and fun and upbeat. She loves swimming with Haylyn because Haylyn makes a bunch of pretty shapes in the water
- Elvin vsco girl energy **STOP I FORGOT THAT WAS A THING**
- Danisa looks up to Sophie Foster a LOT. She’s her role model. She daydreams about finding out she’s actually going to manifest five abilities so Sophie can have a Moonlark friend, and that one day the black swan will tell her she is special and invite her to come risk her life for their cause!
- Danisa and Haylyn are friends with Galin Kester (also not yet manifested but will be a telepath, maybe I’ll make a bio for him if he becomes more relevant in my headcanon) who is Timon’s cousin (but since Timon lives with his aunt and uncle, they’re like brothers) so Danisa sees Timon a lot and has him teach her languages. She doesn’t tell him why she wants to know as many languages as possible, but secretly, she really wants to impress Sophie one day if she joins the black swan.
The Groups
- The Danisa-Haylyn-Galin friend group makes elaborate plans about how they’ll casually insert themselves into enough conversations to worm their way over to sitting with the Black Swan affiliated elves at foxfire. They never execute these plans.
- The Kaslyn-Timon-Shanla friend group consists of many of Shanla’s schemes to set Timon and Kaslyn up together. (Shanla is a guster and has even resorted to literally having the wind knock Kaslyn off her feet before. Timon forgot to catch her so the whole thing failed)
- Kaslyn and Avana used to be closer, but now that Avana graduated from Foxfire, they don’t see each other as often. (This is possibly because Avana is busy with her extreme quadruple agent scheme)

It is time. Here is my kotlc oc. She is also my portrait for keeper sexywoman (quinlins assistant btw)
Her name is Allyta, she is autistic and East Asian. She is bubbly, kind outgoing and a little traumatised.
Her mum never understood her autism growing up and abused her. She then ran away from home and got married to an ex councillor.
She was Bronte's only friend growing up and is around the same age as him.
She is a vanisher and beguiler. She and her husband make music and incorporate ogre instruments and goblin instruments. (All head Canon btw)
I believe her side job is Quinlin's assistant because Quinlin calls her incompetent (her autism) in the first book. It also says that Bronte sent her to watch him hence that's why I think shes Quinlin's assistant. Portrait:

KotLC and PJO- A Masterpost
Last Updated: March 9th, 2024
Help: @moonrose18 @labaguetteisdabest @awful-amatuer @queenpiranhadon @ad-woof @beautifulenemychild @yourtwistedlies @softmoonlightmelody @sabrine-bree-the-bravery
PJO -> KotLC
Percy- Hydrokinetic because of his water abilities.
Annabeth- Talentless because she usually relies on her smarts and has expressed wishing she had abilities like the others.
Jason- Guster because of his wind control and Charger because of his electricity control.
Leo- Pyrokinetic because of his fire powers and Technopath because of his tech/ electronic control.
Piper- Beguiler because she can use her Charmspeak to make someone listen to her.
Hazel- Conjurer because of her summoning of jewels and Mesmer because of her use of the Mist and how she can affect what people see. Mesmers affect people's actions, and how Hazel can say "look at the wall" and suddenly there's a wall seems more Mesmer than Beguiler.
Frank- Phaser because they can change their form and Polyglot because they can speak ANYTHING.
Nico- Shade because he can control shadows.
Thalia- Charger because she can control electricity.
Reyna- Enhancer because she can enhance others' abilities.
Will- Flasher because he can light up (I think?? Not finished with the series.) He could do something like Elwin and use his Flasher abilities to be a doctor.
Grover- I have three options for him. A Gnome because of how much Satyrs love nature, a Telepath like Fitz since he found Percy like Fitz found Sophie, or a Hydrokinetic so he has the same ability as Percy when he finds him, which is what happened with Fitz and Sophie.
Rachel- Human aware of the elves' existence.
Tyson- Ogre because of Ogres (like Cyclops) being seen as monsters, and while some are, not all are.
Calypso- Descryer because of Ogygia's magic. Heroes (who, of course, have potential if they're heroes) wash up on shore.
Clarisse- Inflictor because of her abilities being able to cause pain on others.
Juniper- Gnome because she's like a Wood Nymph or something so part tree or something like that like gnome are, or if she was to be an elf, then a Guster because it's the closest to an earthy ability.
Hylla- Telepath because of being a leader and Beguiler because of leading the Amazons (think of how they have their men).
Connor- Since I'm making the Empaths Hermes kids, I might as well make the Hermes kids Empaths.
Travis- Same as Connor.
Bianca- Shade because of being a daughter of Hades and Empath because it fits her vibe, and I just feel like she would be.
Ella- Dwarf because she gives Dwarf vibes.
Zoë- Psiniopath because of leading the Hunters.
Silena- Beguiler because of her possible Charmspeak and love magic.
Beckendorf- Technopath because of his tech and electronics.
Festus- Two options: Technopath because he's literally a piece of tech and Pyrokinetic because he could breathe fire, or a Spectral Mirror like Vertina because he's not alive but he almost feels like it.
Drew- Beguiler because she Charmspeaks.
Meg- Four options: Conjurer because of her plant control, Teleporter because of her plant teleportation, Mesmer because of controlling Apollo, or Flasher because yes.
Chris- Empath. For fun.
KotLC -> PJO
Luke- Teleporter because he can do that.
Katie Gardner- Guster is the closest to an Earthy ability.
Estelle- Human little sister of Percy's, like Amy is with Sophie.
Sophie- Two options: Ares because she starts out looking weak but turns out very strong and has many abilities that would make her terrifying to fight or Zeus because she's a natural leader and her Inflicting looks a lot like lightning.
Fitz- Three options: Aphrodite child, descendant of Venus because of how his whole family is beautiful and charming, or a satyr since he found Sophie like Grover found Percy.
Biana- Same as Fitz.
Keefe- Four options: Hermes because he gives off the vibes, Ares because he's good with weapons, Apollo because he's artsy and bold, or Athena because he's an Empath and can read people.
Dex- Hephaestus kid because of his tech.
Tam- Pluto at Camp Jupiter because their strictness reminds me of Exilium and he's a shade. He's a year older than Linh (like Quan always gaslights them into thinking) because it's not a big deal in this universe to have twins.
Linh- Neptune because of her water powers with her story like Tam's.
Marella- Hephaestus kid because she would be a Firestarter.
Wylie- Apollo kid (Flasher).
Maruca- the same as Wylie because Psiniopath's make light force fields.
Stina- Hermes vibes, but also Athena because she reads and is an Empath like Keefe.
Amy- Oracle because she isn't an elf, so she wouldn't be a demigod.
Jensi- Unclaimed because he's Talentless.
Rayni- Two options: Apollo like Wylie or Hecate. She joins the Neverseen (A.K.A. the bad guys) and in this universe the bad guys are people like Luke. It makes more sense for her to be a child of a minor god than someone as important as Apollo. She also gives off Hecate vibes.
Jolie- either Pluto like Hazel because she conjures things, Aphrodite because she's flirtatious and pretty, or Iris because it fits her vibe.
Rex- the same as the Song twins. He's the oldest triplet and Unclaimed because he's Talentless.
Lex- Either Poseidon because he has frost powers (and Khione doesn't have kids) or Hermes because he feels like a Hermes child. He's the youngest triplet.
Bex- Ares middle daughter triplet because I said so and also, she's a Phaser like Frank.
Alvar- Actually, Biana and Fitz's half-sibling. He's a kid of Hermes and a forgotten child. Think of how he has to try to look good.
Fernan- Hermes because yes, Mars because he's a Phaser, or Apollo because Jensi could feel in his brother's shadow.
Brant- Hephaestus because Pyrokinetic.
Vertina- either a Harpy because it feels right, or if she were a demigod, Aphrodite because her whole thing is makeup.
Ruy- Phoebus (Roman Apollo) because he's a Psiniopath and uses light.
Gethen- Athena because he's a Telepath.
Trix- Jupiter because of his wind abilities.
Umber- Pluto because of her shadows.
Ro- Bellona because ogres are all about war.
Sandor- Mars because goblins are raised for war.
Grizel- Bellona (not Mars; she's dating Sandor).
Lovise- Mars.
Woltzer- Mars underdog who gets bossed around by Sandor.
Bo- Mars (married to Ro).
Flori- Descendant of Ceres (Roman Demeter) because she's a gnome. Calla and Yuri and the others are her family.
Nubiti- Trivia (Roman Hecate). Feels about right.
Brielle- Fortuna because it would be ironic.
Cadoc- Mars I guess.
Tarina- Mars because Minerva doesn't have kids.
Oc's
CeCe Fathdon- Either Athena because of her telepathy, Aphrodite because her mom is literally Oralie, or Demeter because she loves nature.
Amir Patel- Mortal with Sight (like Sally Jackson).

Got any... KOTLC ocs runner of the account? :> Maybe... any elf oc that isn't KOTLC etc.
👤: YES! I do! Old art warning Xd Porcelain Ashdon:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The other guy was a oc made by someone else. He is a Technopath :) ---------- The other was a elf I never drew: Porcelain's younger brother. His name was Oliver, but he was a.. funky one! He eats meat >:0 HOW DEVIOUS- He is younger than Porcelain... he has no pointy ears. "Dammit Mama! STOP GIVING ME SIBLINGS WHEN I'M OLD-" I never decided on his ability.
--------- I don't think I have any more KOTLC ocs, but I do have a recent elf oc. I may not post it unless it's asked, but I didn't draw him. I made him up for a short story which I then gotten attached to him/them. ...Tbh- I didn't really think of their gender. They are usually referred to as "It"... this creature causes chaos in their society. Combination of a Siren and a Elf- *cough* Could be a beguiler if I ever want to transfer them to KOTLC *cough*

on this hellscape we call earth there are two things i am passionate about. dungeons and dragons, and kotlc. so why not combine the two in a dnd table to determine a special ability?
Tumblr media
the first question you probably have is: "gubbs. there are twenty abilities here, why didn't you just use a d20?" and my answer to that is that i'm insane and chose to try and break down the abilities based on the likelihood of manifesting them without any genetic influence, and since some abilities are rarer than others, i used a d100 instead to represent the different weights of abilities.
really in-depth info on how i broke down the abilities below, along with a TL;DR with just the percentages at the end :)
I omitted Teleportation, Inflicting and Descrying since those abilities likely won't pop up again for a very long time. Since Inflicting and Descrying both only had one reported elf each before Sophie, and both are Councillors, they won't be passing along their genetics anytime soon. And Sophie's Inflicting was a result of the Black Swan tweaking her genetics. Teleportation is also exclusively a horse girl thing so that one is out as well, since it doesn't occur in elves organically. I am also aware that the Talentless chance is far lower than it should be. I address that near the end.
Due to there being twenty abilities on this list, the baseline percent for each is 5%, as that's how it would be if all abilities had an equal chance of happening. I adjust the chances from there.
First, I separated the abilities into categories. The first one was the easiest, which was the rare abilities. I only put three in this category, those being Pyrokinetics and Enhancers at a 1% chance, and Telepaths at a 3% chance. Pyrokinetics was easy, since Marella says that there were only twelve of them when the ability got banned, so it's very unlikely to manifest it. Sophie is the only Enhancer we know of, but we do know that there are more, since Dex had heard about the ability when she manifested it. However, I assume it's rare, since Sophie manifesting it is the first we hear of it. I also made Enhancer a reroll ability, since I believe it mostly manifests in people who already have an ability. There is absolutely no canon support for this aside from Sophie, so take this with a grain of salt. We are constantly told Telepaths are rare, (even if there are so many of them in the story) so they're at a 3% chance. Rarer than most abilities, but not the rarest. In total, the three rare abilities have a 5% chance of manifesting.
The next category is elemental abilities. Due to the elves being in tune with nature and appreciating natural beauty, I bumped the baseline percent from 5% to 6%, which is the likelihood for Frosters, Chargers, Gusters, and Hydrokinetics. Flashers sit at an 8% chance due to the Lost Cities' focus on light. We are also introduced to far more Flashers than any other of the elements, leading me to believe it shows up more in elves. Shades were bumped down to a 4% chance, because if light is the foundation of the Lost Cities and manifests more in it's citizens as a result, then the distrust and shun of darkness would make the shadows manifest less. Elemental abilities have a 36% chance of manifesting.
I then put Empaths, Mesmers, Beguilers and Vociferators into the "affects others" category. Empaths don't quite fit that description, but it was the best place I could put them. Empaths are at a 6% chance of manifesting, just because there are a lot of Empath characters in the series, so manifesting as an Empath may be more likely than other abilities. The other three in this category are all at a 4% chance. This is because all three of them involve manipulating/harming people. Mesmers manipulate actions, Beguilers manipulate emotions, and Vociferators can harness their voice to incapacitate someone. I know that these abilities aren't the only ones that can be used to harm someone, but they are the only ones (apart from inflicting) where you can only use it on someone else. Since elves can't handle guilt, I believe that these three abilities manifest less frequently, as their genetic makeup probably pushes against manifesting as something that can easily be misused. Hopefully that makes sense. The abilities that affect others have an 18% chance at manifesting.
Next is the "affects self" group, which is Vanishers, Psionipaths and Phasers. Psionipaths can use forcefields on anything, but I assume the most common use is to protect the user from something, so I put them in this category. All three of these are at the baseline 5%, as I could not think of a reason for any of them to be more or less likely based on elvin psyche or nature.
Finally was the miscellaneous group, which was just the last three. Technopaths are at the baseline of 5%, since there was no reason for it to be anything else. Polyglots sit at a healthy 10%, and are also a reroll ability for hopefully what are obvious reasons. I made the likelihood so high because to me it seems like every other character we meet is a polyglot. It should probably be lower though. Speaking of abilities that should definitely be lower, I made Conjurers have a 10% chance of manifesting. I should not have done this. The flimsy reasoning I do have, is that it's incredibly practical. Just having the ability to summon anything to you from anywhere as long as you know where it is is so useful. I would love to be able to do that. I also thought there were far more Conjurers in the series than there actually is. But logically, it should be a lower chance, and I should have took the left over percents from Polyglots and Conjurers and put them into Talentless. I made it a 1% chance for an elf to not manifest an ability at all. Far more than 1% of the elvin population is Talentless, I think I can say that confidently. I would go back and adjust the table, but doing so would require me to adjust all the numbers, as well as edit this post. I have been working on this for two hours and don't want to do that. Maybe I'll reblog it later with an edit.
I plan on making more dnd keeper crossover content, so hopefully this finds it's target audience.
TL;DR
Pyrokinetic - 1% | Enhancer - 1% | Telepath - 3% | Charger - 6% | Flasher - 8% | Froster - 6% | Guster - 6% | Hydrokinetic - 6% | Shade - 4% | Empath - 6% | Beguiler - 4% | Mesmer - 4% | Vociferator - 4% | Vanisher - 5% | Psionipath - 5% | Phaser - 5% | Conjurer - 10% | Technopath - 5% | Polyglot - 10% | Talentless - 1% |

Maybe it’s just me, but you’d think that a society that oppresses and keeps down people without abilities would be more centered around abilities. Because, from the world-building, Talentless aren’t any less capable than people with abilities (why isn’t there a name for them?).
You bring up an interesting point! There really isn't a lot of use for any of the abilities people have, they're just like a fun bonus that you need to have or else you'll get super judged and shunned your entire life.
Telepaths seem to be in fair use in regards to trying to find information and mind breaks, but those are in situations that are supposedly rare and unusual. In a truly peaceful world they wouldn't need to break anyone's mind, so it's an anomaly. There is/was monitoring of the humans via telepaths but that's not a part of their society.
There's also psionipaths who made the bubble around Atlantis, but that was a one time only situation. They haven't sank any cities since then. There's also shades and flashers who would've been used to make the illusions around the Lost Cities hiding them, but that's also a one time only situation! The illusions are set up and then boom it's there.
I think the most incorporated into their society are technopaths as they're making things that people are actually using and that have a real presence in their lives. Conjurers are similar but on a more personal basis. Their ability has everyday uses and relevance but mostly for the conjurer themself. But technopaths' inventions are everywhere!
For a species who so highly value abilities, their abilities really make no appearance in their lives at all! Socially, talentless are the same as everyone else. When someone isn't using their ability they're functionally the same as any talentless. And unless they're performing a service specifically related to their ability (e.g. Cyrah using her flasher skills to alter the starstones for Lady Gisela), they're capable of the same work and achievements.
Also there is a term for what everyone with abilities is called! They're called the talented as an opposite to talentless, but "few use the term 'talented,' preferring instead to identify themselves by their abilities" (Unlocked p. 261). Abilities are diverse and common enough that I suppose it doesn't make sense for them to all be one big group, so while there is a name for it it's hardly used. Instead they find more relation among their ability or similar abilities (e.g. elemental abilities).
But that aside, you're very right. As much as we know about the elven world, there seems to be a disconnect between the value abilities hold and their actual presentation and representation in their world.

Favourite headcannons?
Heck yeah!
If you want me to expand on any of these, feel free to send another ask, but I think most of them are self explanatory.
Aro-Ace Linh Song. I will die on this hecking hill.
Sophie Foster has a crippling caffiene addiction. It's what's keeping her alive at this point.
The Hekses are French. That's it, that's the whole headcanon.
Alden Vacker is among the crappiest parents to walk the face of this planet <3
The Vackers are not white, anyone who tells you otherwise is probably lying. They're at least half Desi. I don't make the rules.
Keefe has Freckles.
Alden Vacker and Fitz Vacker are both unregistered Beguilers. Alden would never cheat on Della. He'd do just about everything else, though.
Dex hosts movie nights for the whole friend group, and they watch Barbie movies and Disney Movies and Harry Potter and Teen Beach Movie and Steel Magnolias and Titanic(which makes all the boys scream at the scene) and Keefe and Sophie and Dex and Fitz have to translate for the rest of the friend group and they all assign each other different characters and treat it like it's Shakespeare.
Speaking of, BianA VACKER. IS THE WORLD'S MOST HUGEST. SHAKESPEARE NERD. SHE LOVES THE BARD SOOOO MUCH. I think if she died tomorrow she'd want a line from King Lear(her favorite play) on her tombstone.
The Alenfar Family. I love this headcanon so much. Like, imagine, Edaline, Bronte, Juline, Wylie, Tam, Linh, and Glimmer all having a family with one cool dad who gives them hugs?!?!?!?! I could cRY.
Alvar Vacker is Wraith, and Alden Vacker is the leader of the Neverseen.
Kotlc is actually a dystopia written under the guise of a utopia and Shannon's actually aiming for something really deep and dark with the series and the way she's approaching it.
Sophie is amazing at flirting, but she never notices that she's flirting, and so everyone else is in love with her but she never actually noticed and she's just an oblivious little bean and I'd die for her.
Keefe is super hecking touch starved, and his love language is physical touch, and so he doesn't know how much he needs a hug until he's sobbing in somebody's arms.
Gisela dies at the end <3
Fintan is Sophie's biological dad. I can't wait for the angst fire that that's gonna be when it's revealed.
Glimmer has albinism!
