In 1933, Welsh journalist Gareth Jones travels to Ukraine, where he experiences the horrors of a famine. Everywhere he goes he meets henchmen of the Soviet secret service who are determined to prevent news about the catastrophe from getting out. Stalin’s forced collectivisation of agriculture has resulted in misery and ruin—the policy is tantamount to mass murder.

Jan Lisiecki puts the spotlight on rarely recorded orchestral works by Chopin, the repertoire that became Lisiecki’s calling card and kick-started his international career. These utterly compelling compositions crammed with exquisite melodies, youthful exuberance and dashing display were recorded in the studio with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, conducted by the Polish conductor Krzysztof Urbański. CHOPIN: Works for Piano & Orchestra”.

Huawei Tech4All — A Million Dreams from Ars Thanea on Vimeo.
Together with our colleagues from WPP Team Huawei and Argentinian director’s duo Mab & Becho we have created a heart-warming and meaningful video for Huawei, clearly proving that technology can develop a better future for all.
Tech4All is a digital inclusion initiative supported by the Chinese technology company Huawei, which approached us to help them present how technology significantly improves the quality of life in four particular fields: education, health, environment, and development.
The carefully crafted story presents a hand-made world that works like clockwork. Our guide is a tiny robot, who visits far-off places and allows us to witness how a great change can be made through new technologies.
The main hero, a metaphor for technology, takes us to an African Savannah, a hospital, a rainforest, and a remote little village and transmutes people’s life: provides kids with new digital skills, improves the standard of health care, protects the environment, drives balanced development. Simply makes the world a better place.
Mechanisms, charming visuals, puppet-like human characters, and smooth camera movements captured in a 3D globe created by our team gave a real movie-like feeling and brought this thought-provoking story to life.
