The top 10 bitch, wtf expressions from one Atsushi Nakajima in season one of Bungou Stray Dogs. Or, to badly paraphrase Dazai, gifted people are batshit banana balls, and Atsushi learns this the hard way.

01. This gem from the first few minutes of the very first episode of season one:

On the left: Atsushi- a broke, starving orphan desperate for food, for money, for a home, for something to help keep him alive. On the right: The batshit banana balls man that he saved from drowning in the river who just cursed the fact that he was still alive.

02. The beginning of a trend:

The man who saved you from starvation, who gave you a home, new clothes, and (though you don’t know it yet) a purpose, has his skinny ass stuck in a gotdamned barrel.

03. This beauty from episode five, or Dazai and the river, part two:

We know much of Dazai’s particular brand of flamboyant chaos is an elaborate ruse to distract people from whatever overly clever plan he’s enacting at the moment. Atsushi, on the other hand, is just tired.

04 and 05. Double the banana balls mentors, double the wtf:

Eventually, these two teach him a valuable lesson about effective partnerships, but not before Dazai shoves Kunikida to and then past the brink of his sanity.

06. In which Atsushi speaks for all of us regarding Tanizaki and Naomi:

Atsushi’s wtf expands to the entire agency, who abandon him to Yosano’s sadistic shopping adventures.

Featuring the first, and certainly not the last, bitch wtf face cast by Atsushi at his current nemesis, future partner, and forever thematic parallel Akutagawa as Akutagawa drags him ankle first out of a shipping container after stabbing and then kidnapping him.

10. And my absolute favorite bitch, wtf face from Atsushi in season one:

The target of his ire once again: Dazai. No rivers, this time. Just witnessing Dazai flirting in the midst of a serious kidnapping investigation. This shot is EVERYTHING. Look at Dazai’s little fingers, just typing away in chaotic gremlin bliss, while his newest apprentice is experiencing REGRET on a cellular level.

(I don’t know how tumblr works you’ve been warned) Was looking at your bsd master list and saw you were looking for some of the drama cds? And there’s this Reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/BungouStrayDogs/comments/gu6jns/compilation_of_links_to_bsd_extra_content/? utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf’’) from 3 years ago called “Compilation of Links to BSD Extra Content!” That has some of the cds linked there, among other things (that may or may not already be linked on your master list). Don’t know how helpful that is but I thought I’d share :)

Whaaaaaaa I just added the dramas mentioned in the compilation to the masterpost, thank you so so much for letting me know!!! It took me two hours (and fifty open tabs) to figure out where the four videos from that one youtube channel come from; if I'm correct, the first video is the second 2nd Song Mini Album short drama “The Port Mafia Did Something Wrong!?”, the second video is the first 3nd Song Mini Album short drama “Kajii's Science of Cooking!?”, while the third and fourth videos are the second 3nd Song Mini Album short drama “Lunch Time, Accidental Mischief” split in two (I'm not sure what was the criteria of the original uploader to split them in four parts, but I've crosschecked with this other account that uploaded the audios so I'm positive the attribution I suggest is correct). I'm so glad I could fill those spots, thank you so much for your contribution!!!! And everyone please go listen to those audios, they're GLORIOUS.

“I knew I should have just left you there afterall”. He sighed as he dropped the smaller male onto one of the lush leather sofas in one of Port Mafia’s safe houses, kneeling down to inspect the wound to his leg. If this wasn’t some type of direct order then he wouldn’t have minded walking away and leaving him at all. He had no time for those who were willing to toss away their life as though it meant nothing. He knew that Chuuya was strong - so babying him wasn’t needed. But this had been his orders and therefore he’d carried them out to the letter.  “Someone’s been targetting you for a while - it’s been causing a lot of trouble throughout the whole city. Happen to know what that might be?”

"Hey, could you pass me...are you still pouting?"

"I'm not pouting!" He exclaims, turning his head off to the side with a childish huff.

He was very much pouting.

"I said I was sorry!" Y/N retort, throwing her hands in the air form exasperation. "It wasn't even a big deal ,you're just being a baby about it."

Dazai shakes his head, stubbornly refusing to look at her. He felt betrayed, abandoned, cast off to the side like he was second rate.

"What was I supposed to do, just ignore him? That would have been rude." She tries to reason with him, sighing when he doesn't budge. Finding no other option left, she shuffles closer to him on the couch.

He doesn't move, although he does notice what she's doing.

"C'mon..." She says in her best gentle voice, the tone that would usually be accompanied by her best puppy dog eyes to get him to cave. Dazai usually found it very amusing and often humoured her.

Not this time. This time she'd gone too far.

She reaches out and grabs his hand, trailing her fingertips up his arm. The motion elicits a small shiver from Dazai which doesn't go unnoticed by Y/N, but steadfast in his decision to stay strong, he still doesn't move.

"You've been ignoring me for the past two hours, ever since we got home."

"You deserve it."

She rolls her eyes and leans onto his side, resting her head onto his shoulder.

"Fine." She shrugs. "Forgive me?"

Silence.

"Dazai?"

Wait. Hold on. Was he actually upset? She thought he was just being overdramatic as usual. Suddenly a little worried, she sits up and tries to look at catch a glimpse of his face. He's turned away from her, so she can't quite see.

"Hey...are you actually upset?"

When he doesn't respond, she lets go of his arm and leans around him to meet his gaze.

"I didn't think you'd take this much offense to me sitting next to Kunikida when the agency went out for dinner. I mean, he offered me the seat and you were late as usual. I didn't think it was a big deal and-"

She cuts herself off when she finally sees his face. She should've known better. Blinking in disbelief, she shakes her head and returns to her spot on the couch, crossing her arms.

"You're the worst." She mumbles at him, and now it's Dazai's turn to turn around with an amused smirk on his face. He seems to be holding in a laughs.

"No, by all mean, do go on, my love. I was enjoying your speech." He snickers. "A few 'I'm sorry Dazai!' and 'It'll never happen again!' would be nice-" He does a terrible imitation of her voice and laughs when she grabs the nearest couch pillow and throws it at him, feeling her face heat up.

"I actually thought you were mad at me! Not funny!" She exclaims, leaning back onto the couch. He was insufferable, he liked to tease her a little to much, he was the absolute worst, he-

He was a little too close to her now, she could feel it. She feels his arms wrap around her waist like they always do and she feels him rest his chin in the crook of her neck, nuzzling into her affectionately.

"Let me guess, it's my turn to beg for forgiveness?" He laughs.

"You better get started." She responds, letting him stay like that.

She wants to say she didn't let herself melt in his arms, but that would've been a lie.
