Catching up on tumblr and read your post about Sergei Dragunov's message of survival! May I ask what other characters from any fandoms are also acting as messengers for you?

There are so, so many from the past almost 20 years when I started to do this and connect the dots! Some of the characters are still questions marks with their messages but it's part of the fun to patiently figure them out - and, if there's none, then there's none and that's okay.

I'm going to introduce a few ones only so this list won't get too long.

Dante (Devil May Cry) Dante represents a time of transition, when the old isn't here anymore but the new hasn't arrived yet either. This is because he himself is a half-devil, half-human and thus doesn't really belong to either side. This transition is pretty much always something which takes me from old to new in a way that there's no returning back to the old. It's always a positive transition. For example, I started to see him around a lot before a surgery I didn't know I needed but which improved my life's quality afterwards. And, also, 5 months before I knew I was going to apply for a school and get accepted in.

Vergil (Devil May Cry) Vergil is a sort of a newcomer who very rarely appears. His message is a total transformation where the old completely dies and a new phase begins. Like the Phoenix. Where his brother Dante predicts a transformation in some field, Vergil predicts full scale transformation, which is inevitable. Multiple things will change at the same time but this purging is necessary and beneficial.

Hwoarang (Tekken) Hwoarang was a very close "guide" when I was younger. His message is that keep your eyes on the price/goal but don't force it as higher forces are at play, too. Stay humble to know when to step back but don't let the inner fire for your goal and ambitions disappear. The moment of pause is only a moment of pause. This is because Hwoarang goes after whatever the hell he wants, even breaking rules and law, but bring in his master Baek (the higher force) and he immediately knows his place.

Reno (Final Fantasy VII) Reno used to be around a lot more when I was in my twenties, worried about my career and work life. He sometimes appears to kick my ass but I'm happy I need his services a lot less now lol. This is because Reno's message is confidence as you are in a work environment. And ONLY in the work environment! Doesn't matter how you look like, doesn't matter how you are. Just be yourself. You will succeed and find the people who appreciate what you have got to give to your work field. This is Reno's message because despite his attitude, looks and the way he "violates" the workplace dress code, he is still 2nd in command right after his boss.

Daiki Aomine (Kuroko no Basket) Aomine is bold, 100% confidence with no hesitation, because the only one who can beat Aomine is Aomine himself - according to him. So, why do you stand on your own way, trip your on feet and give up? No one can beat you but you - go for it! Know your worth and give credit to your talents.

Grimmjow (Bleach) Grimmjow is titled as The King in Bleach so he represents ultimate rule over your own life and your own actions. You do you and don't give a shit what others want from you or what they think about you. His message isn't aimed to anything particular but it's more of a call to embody that self-sufficient regal energy, where anyone who crosses your path and says "No you can't" is nothing but a whining bastard. His the "Take No Shit" part from the motto Do No Harm, Take No Shit.

Sergei Dargunov (Tekken) Adding Dragunov here, too, if someone missed the original post. Dragunov represents (and predicts) ultimate survival in an extreme environment where my future - from a logical point of view - is heavily threatened. Like, to that degree that IF things don't work out (soon!), I will not survive. Keep your calm, keep your emotions in check as there's no need to panic, even if the world around you was on fire. The fire will not catch you. This is because when I think about Dragunov, I feel that he will survive anything. Drop an atom bomb over him and he probably just walks away from it with some dust on him, unharmed. Then, he goes to mind his own business and assemble his pink toy tanks. I think that such a notion is a small extra; have some sense of humor, even when the world burns. There are still nice things out there to enjoy of right now.

I'm currently trying to figure out Jessica Rabbit and Fran from FFXII, who has been my faves for a really long time. Most of the guides are men because I'm naturally more comfortable and at ease in masculine energy (a psychic once noted that my energy is, at the moment, more aligned with the divine masculine - one of my current lessons is to turn that to the divine feminine, which is extremely strong on my astrological chart. I just haven't been able to tap into it yet but I'm getting there!)

I am full on biting my nails atm — the anticipation is real! I am both dreading and excited for kuroko reaction, maybe I don’t fully understand kuroko as a character (it’s been a hot min since I watched the anime + read the manga), and it’s harder being that he’s shaped by the events in your fic… but I honestly see it going 2 ways!!

My prediction rn is that he either

1. He and Kagami have an intense falling out after the game - he goes full quiet before then before they finally fix it with a heart to heart a few angst scenes later (but tbh that doenst completely fit the vibe of the fic… sooooo 🤷🏼‍♀️)

2. Immediate argument then reasoning explained after game then = reconciliation and new disciple of BALL IS LIFE

3. He doesn’t get put out and coach disagrees with his call and Kagami explains himself later after it’s tense for a hot min

Bonus:

He decides after all this angst and friendship breaking apart he decides to quit basketball after his year with seirin… it sounds insane to me but honestly also there’s build up??? That you put!?? That actually fits?!! Idk I might just be insane don’t mind me

Also idk if I’m comepltejy misreading this…. But it kind of seems like seirin could lose? Like they win in canon but w/out kuroko there …. Hmm

while i will not definitively confirm nor deny things...

i want to say those who are familiar with canon will be able to extrapolate what's happening. or at least, when ch 11 comes out they will find the events acceptable.

really working hard there with the predictions, i can respect it 🤭 you've covered a spectrum of mild- to nuclear-level of fallout and resolution lol

what i can say is a legal time out is 1 minute and 15 seconds, and by now, you know si!kagami and bil actually give a shit about the clock. and things will come to their conclusions, good or bad, within the next two chapters

currently reading: I follow and read every “A mage reborn” update religiously. And I started reading “wayfarer” not too long ago but I have not had the time to really sit down and get into it unfortunately. Other than that I’ve been very into fallout: new vegas fanfics lately, lol. 

last song: Shield Wall by Amon Amarth. Listening to it always makes me want to go out and like...fight someone twice my size. I think that with the help of that song pumping me up I could do it for sure. 100%. Trust me. 

last series: The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. I’ve only watched the first ep so I have no real opinions on it yet. I do have to say that it’s disheartening as always to watch people hate it because one of the main characters is an established capable woman, and that’s ....“unrealistic”. I’m tired of the world hating female characters. And just women in general. Sorry for the rant lmao.  I’m also watching Jersey shore....and I’m loving it so much. 

last movie:  Kuroko's Basketball The Movie: Last Game. I enjoyed seeing the generation of miracles. Especially Aomine ( ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ !!) , Murasakibara and Kise. The plot kinda sucked ass though. It had this really strange racism angle going that I think knb is not...really capable of discussing or handling. It was weird af.  I’d rather have had the movie be about the characters hanging out and kinda exploring the characters and their backstories a bit instead. Meh??/10

sweet/savory/spicy: savory > spicy > sweet. I’d rather have a starter than a dessert if I’m out eating at a restaurant.

currently working on: Restocking my wardrobe, lol. Working at a restaurant for the past 6 years, wearing an uniform at my job, has really stopped me from getting new clothes. So now that I’ll be working at an office I need to find nice but comfy clothes for every day use. I’m also just working on my art, as aways. I’ve been feeling very bad about it as of late and i’m trying to let myself be more relaxed with it and kinda find the fun in creating stuff again. It’s going....eh... Kurobas Valentine’s Day Event 2020 Day 6: KagaKuro

I am sorry for posting late just because I am quite distracted and I can’t seem to finish this fic lol. But without further ado, I present to you the fan fave pairing, KagaKuro <3

Title: Valentines’ Wish

Summary: Kuroko doesn’t know whether to get pissed or be happy when Kagami-kun finally has the balls to ask him for a date with a catch, of course.

The sky is glowing hues of red and orange as the sun is beautifully setting off and Tetsuya, of all his sixteen years of existence, has never felt so content. He might not show is on his facade but he knows his feelings better than anyone. Well, maybe, except for Kagami-kun. After all, he is his shadow and he is his light. 

The truth is, they have been going out for more than two months after they play Yosen in the quarter-finals. For the most part, they don’t actually make it obvious that they are together, save for those few friends that actually know. In the Seirin team, only Furihata-kun knows because he accidentally walks in on them in the locker room after practice when Kagami-kun is about to kiss him on the lips. He feels a little bit guilty because the poor guy couldn’t look at them in the eyes for two weeks straight. When asked if they’re together, Tetsuya just gives him his usual poker face but he neither deny nor admit. But it is so evidently obvious though.

He glances at the taller boy who is walking beside him. It’s not the first time he has noticed that he has broad shoulders and psyche to die for. On the other hand, he looks like a wimpy kid when he’s beside him. But Tetsuya doesn’t care. He knows where the taller boy’s loyalty lies.

“Hey, Kuroko.” His line of thinking is suddenly interrupted when Kagami-kun speaks. He looks up at the taller boy in question. 

“Alex gave me tickets to the planetarium and I am thinking if you’d like to go...with me?” He looks away from him with a small blush adorning his face. 

Tetsuya stares at the taller boy with his usual blank expression but nonetheless, his eyes are showing a surprised expression. “Kagami-kun...are you finally going to ask me out for a date after two months of dating?”

Kagami chokes on his breath, his blush getting intense by each moment. Tetsuya does nothing and just stares impassively at him. 

“S-Shut up, Kuroko! Do you want to go or not?!”

He lets out a breath of frustration. Really, when is Kagami-kun going to be honest with his feelings but not without getting embarrassed? Probably, the taller boy is also thinking about their personal time together since they haven’t gotten any between school and club practice. Although they go after practice at Maji Burger sometimes, which they have been doing ever since they have gotten together so he really won’t count it as a date. More like after school hang out as well as the fact that they are rarely alone because the second years or the first-year trio are coming with them from time to time. And as far as he can remember, the only time that they can be alone is during the time that he will help Kagami-kun with his studies just because their senpais have given up and thus, Kagami-kun is left on his mercy. 

He looks up again at the taller boy after the initial shock and says, “Alright. I’ll go but really, Kagami-kun. You should’ve asked way earlier.”

He scratches his head in embarrassment and looks away. “Yeah....that’s what Alex says.”

He raises his eyebrow in annoyance. Really, Bakagami-kun?  “So, if Alex-san didn’t talk to you about it, you wouldn’t have done so at all?”

“S-Shut up, Kuroko. Of course, I would. It’s just that....Ican’tseemtosayanythingwhenIknowIhavetobeembarrasedaboutit.” Kuroko just smiles at the taller boy but says nothing, noting that he has agitated him enough. Together, they just walk in silence until they reach his house. 

“Meet me tomorrow at 9 am at the station.” It is all Kagami-kun has said before he quickly pats his head and bails out. He doesn’t even have the time to say thank you and good night. But tomorrow will be a good day, he thinks. He’s just hoping that Kagami-kun should stop being easily embarrassed all the time. But honestly, he is excited. After all, this is going to be their first date and he hopes that nothing can go wrong.

The next day arrives and Tetsuya wakes up in anticipation. He does his morning routine and picks out a nice pair of black pants and a long-sleeve white sweatshirt. He looks at the mirror, feeling satisfied with his appearance and heads out after saying goodbye to his grandmother and parents. 

When he reaches the station, he instantly sees the taller boy by the clock outside the station. He greets Kagami-kun and then they proceed to the planetarium. When they arrive, Tetsuya gets the shock of his life when he sees Murasakibara-kun and Himuro-san by the entrance as Kagami-kun waves at them. 

“Yo, Tatsuya! Did you wait long?” Kagami-kun greets them happily when they are finally close. 

Himuro-san shakes his head and says, “We actually just got here. Hello, Kuroko-kun.” He greets him with a smile. Meanwhile, Kuroko is still rooted behind Kagami-kun as he tries to process the situation. So the date that Kagami-kun is talking about is a double date?! How in the world Bakagami-kun is able to think of it as a good idea? He doesn’t know whether to laugh at the situation or get pissed. 

“Ne, Muro-chin, why do we have to go on a double date with them? You drag me here in Tokyo just to see Kagami.” Murasakibara-kun whines as he munches on his potato chips. “But hello, Kuro-chin.”

That is exactly my thoughts too, Murasakibara-kun. Tetsuya silently thinks. Thinking that he is getting rude for the greeting the other couple, he gives Kagami-kun a glare first that can be translated to die. 

“Hello, Murasakibara-kun, Himuro-san.”

He sees Kagami-kun gulps but with a confusion swirling around his eyes. He looks away from him and says, “Let’s go in now. I have the tickets.”

Kagami-kun and Himuro-san walk ahead of them, leaving him with Murasakibara-kun. He hears the purple head groans in frustration and Tetsuya just sighs in defeat. 

“Ne, Kuro-chin, why can’t we say no to them?”

“I honestly don’t know, Murasakibara-kun.”

Himuro-san turns to them and softly yells so they can hear him, “Kuroko-kun, Atsushi, let’s go!”

Both of them just look at each other and sigh in defeat as they painfully follow the brothers.

This is not what I want for a date! Tetsuya yells frustratingly in his mind. They’ve been going around the planetarium for less than an hour and Tetsuya just wants to go home. Might you ask why? It is because he is left alone with Murasakibara-kun who keeps cursing Kagami-kun under his breath for monopolizing his Muro-chin. The two brothers are currently in awe and obviously excited as they go ahead of them in every part of the planetarium, as they passionately argue in every single thing that they can find ranging from planets, stars, milky way, and the galaxy. Kuroko just watches them but he can’t help but feel jealous of Himuro-san. He definitely understands that he is and will always be the older brother figure in Kagami-kun’s life, however, he feels that Himuro-san knows Kagami-kun far better than him. He sometimes wishes that he can be Murasakibara-kun who has no filter on his mouth and will say whatever he wants even if he is offending the other person. He knows that Murasakibara-kun still doesn’t like Kagami-kun because of the fact the Himuro-san is close to him. In a way, he can understand the purple head’s reasoning as he sometimes feels the same way. He also knows that Himuro-san loves Murasakibara-kun so much so he is not at all worried. How ironic, isn’t it? But still, sometimes he can’t help but feel jealous of their closeness. Himuro-san is a very nice person and he has actually gotten close to him but the those negative thoughts are usually creeping in without him intending to do so. His thoughts are interrupted when he hears his company speaks, “Ne, Kuro-chin, do you want to go to the cafe here? I saw it earlier by the entrance. Looks like we’re not needed here.” He looks at the two brothers to see that Kagami-kun is taking a photo of Himuro-san by the Jupiter planet display. He can also see that Murasakibara-kun is pouting as it is obvious that he is puffing his cheeks in annoyance. 

“That’s a really good idea, Murasakibara-kun. I need a vanilla milkshake.”

Taiga and Tatsuya are currently having a blast. It is their first time in a planetarium and they can’t help but feel excited like little kids who just have their first field trip. Taiga actually calls Tatsuya because Alex has given him four tickets and says that the other two are for Tatsuya and that childish giant he calls his boyfriend. When he asks Tatsuya about it, he instantly agrees. He feels a little bit guilty though. He forgets to mention to Kuroko that this is actually a double date. He can see the sour look on the smaller boy’s face when he sees Tatsuya and Murasakibara. 

“Hey, Taiga. I can feel that Kuroko-kun doesn’t really want to be here. Did you even tell him that Atsushi and I are gonna tag along?” Tatsuya asks him as he takes a photo of him by the Saturn planet display. 

He stops on his track and looks at Tatsuya. “W-Well, I didn’t...I didn’t get a chance actually.”

He sees Tatsuya thunks for a bit. “Tell me, is this your first date together?”

He blushes before he answers, “Y-Yeah, you can say that.”

He hears Tatsuya then clicks his tongue as he glares at him. “You...just make a stupid move, Taiga!”

“How is this stupid?”

“Of course, if this is gonna be your first date, I am sure as hell that Kuroko-kun will want to have some quality time alone with you. Even Atsushi is quite pissed when I tell him that you and Kuroko-kun are gonna come with us. If not for me convincing him that I have to use an extreme method like a really good blindfold se-“

“Fuck you, Tatsuya! I don’t want to hear it.”

“...then he won’t agree to come at all. And Taiga, fuck you too! Don’t interrupt me when I’m giving you lessons about dating.”

“Well, excuse me for not having a thick face like you.”

“Excuse me too, for not having eyebrows like you.”

“At least, I don’t have a big dick getting shoved up in my ass.”

“At least, I’m not a virgin.” Tatsuya smugly says to him as he feels his face hot from embarrassment. This fucking guy always knows my weakness. Taiga silently curses Tatsuya as he looks on the ground. 

“Cmon, Tai.” His flirt of an older brother tries to console him. “I think it’s time for us to separate, at least both of our babies will be happy.”

“Yeah. Thanks, bitch.”

“No worries, asshole.”

They look behind them for Kuroko and Murasakibara but are surprised when the two are nowhere to be found. 

“Tatsuya!!! They’re missing!” He panics a little. Murasakibara is easy to find however, it will be harder to find Kuroko. Shit, I think he is really mad at me. 

The two brothers look at each other, nod and scram. Panic is embracing his whole system as he tries to find Kuroko. He fishes out his phone as he dials Kuroko’s number but the little brat turns off his phone. Getting frustrated, he tries to go outside for he has been through every nooks and corner of the planetarium but he still hasn’t found his shadow.  He takes out his phone again and dials Tatsuya’s number instead. After two rings, he answers. “Tai! I found them. They’re here at the cafe by the entrance of the planetarium.”

Quickly, he dashes towards the said cafe and sighs in relief as he sees Kuroko peacefully sipping his milkshake as if nothing happens. This brat! 

It is Kuroko who sees him approaching first. He pulls the empty seat beside Kuroko and slumps himself. “Hello, Kagami-kun.”

“Kuroko! Where the hell have you been? We’re worried about you two.” He doesn’t receive any answer as the smaller boy just continues sipping his vanilla milkshake all the while avoiding looking at him. He looks at Murasakibara who is like a little kid with his head down as Tatsuya is scolding him. 

“But, I want to spend tome with Muro-chin. Kagami has been monopolizing you a lot.” He hears Murasakibara whines. Tatsuya just sighs as he pats his boyfriend’s head and looks at him. 

“Taiga, I guess it’s time to go on separate ways here. Knowing Atsushi, he won’t stop throwing his tantrum until he gets what he wants.” Tatsuya smiles at him in apology and he nods. He still can’t believe that his older brother who always gets into a fight with thugs back in LA is actually so spoiling and soft towards his giant teddy bear. 

“Okay, I understand.”

The couple then stands and bid them goodbye but not without Tatsuya giving him the look. 

“Thanks for today, Kuroko-kun, Taiga. And sorry for the trouble.”

“Bye, Kuro-chin. Kagami, change your eyebrow. It’s annoying~”

He abruptly stands up as he yells, “Shut up, you titan!”

“Don’t be like that, Atsushi. It’s one of Taiga’s uniqueness.” Tatsuya chuckles in amusement as he gets red. Fucking older brother. 

Meanwhile, Kuroko is just looking at the interaction. He bids the two goodbyes as they go to the other direction where there are lots of sweet shops. He looks at the smaller boy after the other two is out of their sight and says, “Hey, Kuroko...I am sorry.”

Finally, Kuroko looks at him. “For what?”

“Y-you know for dragging you in a double date. And I forgot to mention it.”

“Hmm...”

“Are you listening at all?”

“Yeah, I am. It’s alright Kagami-kun. You should’ve told me ahead for I am actually looking forward to this.”

“I can’t say anything to that. It’s my fault. Sorry.”

“You’re forgiven. I am also sorry for disappearing suddenly. I am a..bit...jealous.”

“Huh? Of what?”

“Of your closeness with Himuro-san.”

Taiga chokes on his breath as he looks at Kuroko in shock, not really understanding how in the world is Kuroko will get jealous of his older brother. “With Tatsuya? You know that he’s my older brother and we’ve been through so much. Y-You don’t have to be jealous of him. It’s clearly platonic and he already has that giant teddy bear as his boyfriend.”

“Not of himself but of your closeness. It feels like he knows you better than I do and I want to know more about you in a deeper sense so I can actually share the same excitement as you do with him.”

He finally understands what Kuroko is trying to say. He can’t help but swell with happiness as he replies, “You know, I still can’t understand how can you say such embarrassing words with a blank face.”

“I’ve always been like this.”

He chuckles lightly as he messes the small boy's hair, “I’m flattered, you’re jealous. But really, we have all the time to ourselves to get to know more each other deeper.”

Kuroko removes his hand from his head and faces him as he gives him a small smile. “So, Kagami-kun, do you want to start over again with the date?”

He grins at him and says, “You bet!”

Omake

Valentines’ day comes and Kuroko finally gets the date that he wants. They are about to go home but they decide to stop by the park nearby that is facing the Rainbow Bridge. Since it’s already dark, they will be able to see all the beautiful colors that light up the bridge. They are currently sitting on the bench as Kuroko looks up at the sky being adorned by the stars. As he is basking himself at the beauty of the endless galaxy, he abruptly stands up as he sees a shooting star and tells the taller boy beside him. 

“Kagami-kun, look, a shooting star.” The taller boy looks up too and becomes in awe. Kuroko closes his eyes and makes a wish as does Kagami-kun. When he opens his eyes, he notices that the taller boy is looking at him with a grin plastered on his face. 

“What did you wish?”

He glances at him impassively and says, “I wish that Kagami-kun would groom his eyebrows.”

His grin is instantly wiped out of his face as Kuroko laughs at him. 

But really, what he really wishes is: 

To be Kagami-kun’s shadow until the end.

wow i have done a bit of takao matchups— and here is another one! based on watching both daiya and knb, i feel like him and sanada have similar personalities. takao is not just a basketball guy, he has all sorts of interests, so when he sees you with all of your likes that you have mentioned he gets so excited! he loves talking about manga (he’s the type to totally read the manga after he finishes an anime) and loves loves loves to challenge you on a one-on-one for basketball. he doesn’t underestimate you though, because you’re pretty good yourself (which makes him fall in love with you even more). he loves video games, though i feel like he might be a little bad at it. he’ll often ask you to clear a level for him and then act like he did it himself LOL. on your first date: he takes you to a cat cafe! he likes cats as well and takes so many candid pics of you with cats. he finds you so adorable. like sanada, he constantly makes you laugh. though a little clumsy and aloof, he has the confidence (as he should) and carries himself well. when he catches a little slip up with your words, he has the smuggest look on his face. one day, a couple of guys came up to bother you, making you uncomfortable. tired, you snapped. “bro, your gpa is literally 1.5. you guys keep asking for head but why don’t you use your head first???” takao saw this and started bursting out laughing, engolfing you in a hug. “that was fucking hilarious. bother my girlfriend one more time and see what happens.” EEEE i love. on the occasion where you slip up during the wrong times, like talking back to a teacher, you won’t need to worry about takao judging. he loves that part of you (but if it gets too out of pocket, he will talk to you about it. he won’t let anything SO offensive slide).

Glad u liked the edit :) I... did (?) ship aokise, it’s in my old posts, for sure. It’s just after reading all the knb materials, things kinda changed for me. I fell even more in love with akakuro and midotaka after all their shananigans, but kinda fell out of love with aokise for many reasons. But mainly bc Aomine is just too straight, it was like boobs, boobs, panties 24/7, I mean, he thought Akashi looked so happy with Kuroko, bc they were discussing boobs, I’m still like... no wonder Akashi said it’s hard for them to find a common language, they’re not even reading the same book lol. And it’s seen very obviously that Momoi is Aomine’s intended love interest literally everywhere, and it’s not that I really mind tbh, they fit together anyways.

But once again I get it, bc yeah, Kise does get the special treatment from Aomine for sure, he was the first one he was playing full strength against and came to the match on time and forbade to collect the info on him; he also does like to pull his pigtails for sure. For Kise he will always be special, since he’s the reason he got into basketball in the first place, so the admiration is forever there, but at the end they’ve picked their perfect rivals on the side tho xD.

They just don’t have enough points for me to become an otp after all. Also Aomine really doesn’t give off any even bi vibes for me after everything I saw. He’s like legit soooo much into girls: real girls, fictional girls, Marilyn Monroe is his fav, all the girls everywhere, he’s like very into girls for real. Whatever CD or novel you open, it’s there.

Midotaka and akakuro, they’re like way too obvious. Midorima won’t allow anyone, what Takao is allowed; Akashi is just so far gone, he’ll do anything Kuroko will ask tbh, and both pairings have too much canonical moments, when you go like.. yeah, there’s no way they’re not into each other. Aokise doesn’t have those moments, I mean, they certainly have their moments, but not the ones that can be considered “more than bros”.

personally, (if i may share), i reckon hes a very ‘traditional’ man... like, he thinks men should work, and women stay in the kitchen, sort of thing. i think he would not be a very nice person, & also quite right wing. i think that, hes very pressed about money and business, and he lives and breathes to work. i reckon he would want kagami to carry in his footsteps w his job,, so i also think hes not very supportive of kagami’s basketball dreams, sadly :( i also think hes a god awful father lol.. he only provides for kagami financially, and thats it. i have so so many thoughts i could go on forever im so sorry SHDH 😭😭 it do be kagami brain rot hours 🥴🥴

Hey thank you so much for this ask! I'm so excited because WOW do I ever love Kagami so much (never thought I would because I didn't the first time around) and he honestly deserves so much better than what he was dealt. I'm glad that he found people that love and care about him and appreciate him for more than just basketball, but also appreciate his basketball too — because that's very important to him.

Kagami's dad is definitely a man who puts work before his child, and it's always been that way. It's easy to speculate about what happened with Kagami's mom — because we don't get any information on her, there are endless things to assume. With Kagami's dad, we see that he was supposed to move in with Kagami when they returned to Japan, but he decided to go back to America, leaving his young son to fend for himself. Even if someone wants to argue that Kagami's dad must feel like he trusts Kagami enough to do that, that he's responsible enough to be left alone — to put that much pressure on a teenager and to leave him to just. Fend for himself is... I don't care how responsible you think your kid is at that age, they still need support and discipline and wisdom and guidance. Something you can't give them if you're not. fucking. there.

We see Kagami alone and without any friends as a child in America too, and no sign of his dad. There's a lot of responsibility and expectation of him, having to grow up and learn how to do things on his own at a very young age. But what about when he needs that support, what about when he looks to the stands and his dad isn't there to see the biggest moments of his life? To congratulate him these milestones, these amazing feats that he's worked so hard to achieve? Sure, we don't see the others' parents but we can assume that they're there — Kagami's father isn't even in the same country.

And don't get me started on how uprooting a child as much as Kagami has had to. Let's take his apartment for example. The barest minimal decor, because why bother making it home when you've never really felt like you had one — when you know you're probably going to have to move again in a year or two. When you've learned not to get attached to anything or anyone because you'll always have to leave them behind. Let's look at his clothes. Simple and plain. Even his shoes he runs into the ground. He doesn't care about money, it's not important to him the way it is to his father. He knows and appreciates how hard his father works, because that's just Kagami, but he also knows what it does to a person and he doesn't want that to be him. His relationships? The very first thing we hear from him is that he's not there to make friends. It's not because of competition or because he's arrogant, it's because he really isn't. The last friend he made hurt him a lot, and he never got to resolve that. In Kagami's mind, the people that hes loved are always choosing things over him — Himuro and basketball, his father and money. That's why he doesn't let anyone in, not truly. Not even Kuroko. And the independence? Aomine's saying may be "the only one who can beat me is me" but Kagami (before learning the power of Friendship in DDZ) might as well be saying "the only one who can do this is me" because the whole time he thinks, even when he's saying that they're a team, that it's him who has to do it. He has to win, he has to bring them to victory, it's him that has to be strong and protect them from loss. These don't make him a bad person at all, but we keep forgetting that he's only 16 and god that's so much shit to put on a teenager and just expect them to figure shit out on their own.

He has to get used to a new city each time, alone, learning/relearning the languages, meeting new people and saying goodbye to old friends and support systems — roots he's had to establish each time on. his. own. That's why I hate the end of Last Game. I'm glad he gets to live his dream, but more than anything I hate to see him having to leave the people he's come to care about so much, the first people we see that truly treat Kagami as a person first, as a friend first before anything else. And it's not even his dad that makes this decision, it's Alex.

I've never really thought much about the type of person Kagami's father would be because he's unimportant and absent in my mind like he is in Kagami's life. I don't think he supports Kagami's dream because he isn't there to see how amazing Kagami is. But even still, I feel as if he'd simply look at it from a monetary perspective. I personally don't think he puts much thought into Kagami's life at all, whether it be his friends or his love life. I do think he'd be traditional in that sense for sure — expect Kagami to find a good looking woman who made her own money but not more than what he'd make, make her sign a prenup if they were to ever get married. He's a superficial man, so when it came to Kagami he'd only care about superficial things, like if he had a high paying, respectable job (basketball is fine as long as he's making bank, and if Kagami wasn't that then he'd better be doing something that doesn't embarrass his father) and a pretty looking wife (doesn't matter what she does as long as it doesn't make him look bad).

Kagami is just. The furthest thing from his dad's mind, all the time. He's cold and neglectful and yeah, a god awful parent because he's just not there for Kagami at all. How many birthdays and other holidays he's missed, how many plays or important moments he's missed. How many times has Kagami really needed someone, like after his fight with Himuro, and had no one there he could talk to, no one to help him mend a broken heart. Where are his hugs when he's hurt, where are the pat on the backs and the "you did great" and "im proud of you son" etc.

Kagami's had to grow up on his own but that's what makes him strong, and I am so proud of him for what he's accomplished and the person he's become. Oh boy now i really want to read a meta explaining Aomine's depression in detail and how it affected him in Teiko and in high school. Don't get me wrong, it was epic but it was just "too much" you know? at some point i was like okay i think that's enough for now. Ohh same i was gonna say Yosen vs Seirin is another of my least favorite match, i cant vibe with it it's so...eh. and i disliked Himuro's behavior in it (and in general i totally disagree with his treatment toward Kagami) he was so emo and cringey, and this match started a trend i don't like for Seirin in the Winter Cup in which they always won by one point, like in the Seirin vs Too match, it was new, hype and very exciting then it just started to feel like plot armor for Seirin and it stopped being exciting and i stopped cheering for them cause it was obvious they'd win. Yeah I get you, I think they went above and beyond with that match to an absurd rate so I get it can be off-putting. Aaaaa same with himuro tho!! So I was DEVASTATED by that ending. Like I felt so hurt I was sobbing at that airport scene and their goodbyes sfafsjdhfk so I was extremely relived that the manga actually turned out to have a different ending where he stayed. Feel like Kagami as a character would not leave Seirin or Kuroko when he's still got got many games to play against the GOM so while I also prefer the ending where he stays and consider that the true version of events, i can't say I hate the anime version. It's kind of fun we got to have both versions even if one of them breaks my heart they were both done well and left me feeling so much agsjkdjdld

Best glow up for me goes to Kise hands down. Aomine looked AMAZING tho I'm so glad the movie did his handsomeness justice I feel like the anime series didn't capture it well. But Kise looked so good with his haircut istg I didn't recognize him at first lmao but yeah last game kise 10/10 the best glow up what a guy. We have similar rankings except the first two are switched with Kise, Aomine and Akashi instead of Takao. But Takao is an honorable mention along with Miyaji because they looked GREAT 👌

It was the only place you could have peace.

One day, your moment of peace was... Disturbed.

Your eyes laid shut, arms resting behind your head as you soaked in the warmth of the sun. Eyelashes brush against soft cheeks, a gentle sigh leaving your lips. It's not as if you were ditching last period on purpose... But you aced that class from the beginning, given you learned faster than most. As long as you were in classes for the rest of the day, the teacher didn't mind if you were a no-show...

Oh, the perks of being a smart kid.

The light breeze grazing your skin brought a soft smile to your lips  and life was good... At least... until a shadow cast over your face, interrupting your blissful sun-tan... A soft frown curls on your lips, and you don't dare to open your eyes, annoyance beginning to grow on your face at the intruder...

His voice, smooth as silk, brings an anger within you and you find the energy to sit up, enough to push him over, eyes narrowing.

"Excuse me... But I don't see your name here..." you blink, eyebrow raising at his appearance... "Aren't you supposed to be in class??"

He snorts, frowning at your question before plopping beside you, arms crossed behind his head.

"Does it matter?" he grumbles, closing his eyes. "Whatever.. I'll let you stay, just don't talk and lay there in silence."

You bristle at his words, but a yawn cuts you off, and you watch as he lays there, wind tousling his navy blue hair. You find yourself mesmerized by his actions, unable to look away despite wanting to go back to your previous position.. But you weren't expecting company.. And moments like these brought out a vulnerable side in you, which were never seen by anyone else.

"Take a picture honey.. It'll last longer..."

You find yourself stuttering over your words, and you smack him in annoyance, before turning your body to face the other way.. As long as you couldn't see him, you should be fine to lay there in peace...

When you come to, the sun was beginning to set.. You feel a bit... warmer than normal, something that should've alerted you... However, it was comfortable, and you clung to that heat, determined not to be moved...

"As much as I love having a beautiful girl in my arms..." he whispers hotly, causing your eyes to snap open, "I have to get home before my mom freaks out..."

You jump away from him, cheeks flushed and eyes slightly narrowed at him... O...Oh... T...That's so embarrassing!!! But... It's been so long since you've cuddled with another person... It was just instinct to cling to it... But no way would you admit that out loud...

Wait.... D...Did he just call you...?

A hand is sitting in front of your face, causing you to look at him with wide eyes. In your moment of shock, you fail to realize he's standing up, and bending over enough to just see beneath your shirt. As if knowing what you're thinking, he sighs..

"I'm already late... Might as well walk you home... Come on, _____.... We can cuddle again tomorrow..."

When you hear your name from his lips, you furrow your eyebrows, before gently taking his hand..

"H...How did you...?"

"Know your name? Tch.. Please... Satsuki's been trying to get me to meet you for a while now... Something about... you can help me study or something.."

He yawns, stretching his arms as if shaking the tension from his body. He watches your reaction, and clicks his tongue, gently tugging you to your feet.

"How about this...? You help me with studying, and I'll be your cuddle partner... Consider it a... an agreement..." He murmurs, watching you carefully. "I'll never hear the end of it from her if I fail another test... And judging by how you clung to me in your sleep, I'd say you need someone to sleep beside..."

He watches as your mouth opens and closes, as if contemplating his words... Well... If he's being honest with himself, he did enjoy having you there... Something he didn't think he would admit to... Plus this way, he gets his grades up, and has a beautiful girl to fall asleep with... He doesn't lose out on that deal.

You frown, not liking the vulnerability you feel from his options... However, your eyes dart to the streets below, and you think about what he said... You did cling to him, and rather than him tease you about it.. He openly accepted having someone sleep in the same spot as him... Plus, if he did need your help, you could learn more about him, while getting some much needed sleep...

You turn your attention back to him, and nod your head, ignoring the heat on your cheeks.

"I... I'll accept this proposal, Aomine-kun..." you murmur, watching him carefully... "B...But if you don't show any results from the studying.. Y..You can kiss your cuddle partner goodbye!"

He laughs, rolling his eyes playfully at your words, before grabbing your hand.

"Yeah, yeah... Now let's get going... I'm starving..."

Your eyes were stunned at his actions, before a tiny smile formed on your mouth.. And if the two of you noticed the few people staring at the blushing reactions on your faces, neither of you commented.

LOL MAX I KNEW YOU'D BE THE ONE TO HIT ME WITH THIS FIRST. And what a good fandom! (I was fairly sure you were gonna make me work with Kuroko or something lmaoooooo) Anyway here we go! Also for clarity, this will be exclusively based on the original Sailor Moon anime (because the manga and Crystal hit very different u know.) Also this is going under a read more bc I wrote you a FUCKING novel.

1. blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most):

Minako Aino/Sailor Venus. Listen, I love her Your Honor. I honestly expected this one to be the most difficult to answer bc boy howdy do I love SO MANY of the characters in this anime, and so many dynamics??? At the end of the day though, Minako has been such a longtime favorite, and I really do love her portrayal in the classic anime. We get her first appearance, so cool and so competent; we find out she's been working on her own for so long, and that she's relieved to be part of the team. As the series progresses we see her grappling with the things she's given up (specifically volleyball, and teenage romances, and non-senshi friendships), and trying to determine whether she can have those things in her life, or if she's going to be forced to constantly choose between a sense of normalcy and this responsibility that she feels so deeply. I always personally interpreted her boy-and-celebrity crazy traits as the feedback from feeling so cut-off from normal teenage experiences, as well as those being a safer outlet for those feelings. It's easier to have a wild crush on a celebrity who knows you don't exist, than on someone who might like you back and be hurt for it one day. I love her so, so, SO much and I think about her far too often. rip.

2. scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped):

Chibiusa/Sailor Chibi Moon. I suspect this isn't supposed to be a literal baby, but holy shit would I adopt Chibiusa tomorrow. She's so tiny and has so many big, over-the-top, feelings that she can't really contain them all. She's a baby whose fight-or-flight has been set to the maximum throw hands setting, and her first appearance is so iconic that I have literally no choice but to stan. I remember thinking she was annoying when I was a teenager, but I was fucking wrong. I love how her courage and fear are portrayed side-by-side; how she wants so BADLY to be an adult, and actively tries to take on responsibilities and consequences of adulthood, but ultimately relies on the "adults" around her to help because at the end of the day she is a little girl. Her friendships with Hotaru and Setsuna are so fucking wholesome I could die, and literally anytime Diana is perched on her head I could destroy the screen because it's so cute. I can't take it.

3. scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave)

Zoisite. This might be cheating, but also I'm of the opinion that no matter how many people might appreciate him, it's not enough. Listen, is there a little bit of the stereotypical bitchy femme gay present in this adaptation of Zoisite? Yes. Is it also balanced by the fact that Zoisite is one of the most competent villains in the entire series? In my opinion, also yes. I can see where other people might not be able to look through the stereotype, but I know quite a few men like him tbh and I think he's allowed to be fleshed out enough as a character that he isn't just the stereotype. Also he's a total, ruthless, bitch and he deserved better out of a top than Kunzite. I said what I said. I love them as a ship but good god did Kunzite just absolutely come unraveled when Zoisite died when you KNOW what that bitchy little twink wanted was for Kunzite to kill the senshi and Beryl and take power for himself, or something. Damn. Also Zoisite orchestrated Nephrites downfall and I think that really does elevate him to an S-tier character, because I needed his gaslighting p*do ass to go.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week):

Fisheye. Maybe also Tigereye and Hawkeye, but mostly Fisheye. These characters get a dramatically expanded role in the narrative in the anime, and it's one of my FAVORITE arcs in the entire series, tbh? And I just never see enough people talk about them, so I will do it for all of us. I will shoulder this weight. Queer representation in Sailor Moon is a hot topic, and I could write a whole-ass novel on that on a different post, so I'm going to keep it to this: Fisheye deserves better than what he gets in Crystal and in the manga, and the anime gives it to him. Is he another effeminate gay character who is a villain? Yes (kind-of.) There's definitely some problems to unpack in the choices made with Fisheye as representation, I'll admit. That being said, I love that he's the most competent of his peers, and I love that when betrayed by his incompetent boss, he turns around and joins Sailor Moon's side (and gives his life in the process???) only to have his treachery betrayed by having Sailor Moon and Helios give him what he always wanted -- which was a very innocent wish, and really he's just a victim here. I COULD DO LIKE AN ENTIRE THING JUST ABOUT FISHEYE OKAY I REALLY LOVE HIM. (Prince Saphir is also my runner-eye for this one, but he has less to dig into and less for me to rant about for an entire week.)

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave):

Haruka Tenoh/Sailor Uranus & Michiru Kaioh/Sailor Neptune. I'm blatantly cheating at this point, but if you're still reading this novel I think you can live with that lmaoooo. There is a lot more controversy surrounding this duo than I personally think that there should be, and I could probably also do an entire post about it, but the main takeaway here is that I love their OG anime portrayal. You can pry it from my cold, dead, hands. Particularly the way that they're written in Sailor Moon S [chef kiss]. I have very strong opinions about both the manga and Crystal's take on Haruka in particular (read: I don't like it), and I've seen a LOT of discourse about these women over the years in fandom spaces. I can't elaborate right now, but if someone wants me to I'm sure I can make a post that will get me blocked by a bunch of people, and have others screaming that I've got anon turned off. (I'm not afraid of anon hate, I just think if you've got something to say you can say it with your whole fucking chest.)(also right now anon is turned ON because I'm in a fic exchange but shhhhhhh.) (Seiya Kou is my runner-up for this one, and probably at least two others.)

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason):

Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask. All day, every day. If you didn't see this coming, we didn't watch the same anime. My mans here has two personality speeds: boyfriend (flat, boring, unoriginal; cardboard would fill-in just as nicely) and dad (inspired, show-stopping, original.) This is a guy who's so terrified of his own two brain cells that at one point, while suffering amnesia, he develops a whole-ass borderline racist subconscious persona and then manifests it as a tangible psychic projection. He's very sweet, but utterly unreliable. Dude loses his memories every five episodes. He loses basically every fight he picks. He has the dumbest dialogue the series have ever beheld. God, I love him. God, he's so easy to roast. What a king. (Seiya Kou is also a runner-up for this. This whole ass boy really thought Usagi was ever gonna give him another glance for half a season. RIP.)

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell):

Prince Demande & Nephrite. I feel like these need no explanation, if you've watched the original anime. Though Demande is a bit toned down, and I would probably hesitate, for Saphir's sake. (runner-up: Seiya Kou, but only in specific episodes. my dude she told you she has a boyfriend??? also Haruka will kick his ass long before I get him stuffed into superhell lmaooooooo)

In the summer, you told Kuroko that you wanted to go diving with sharks

You explained to him how you liked to do it at least once every summer, and you even invited him to join you

He politely declined, opting to just watch you instead

Your class was having a trip to a lodge, which you were excited about because you could spend the entire weekend snowboarding

Kise had a crush on you, but he never had the courage to ask you out, because he just didn’t know how. He was always used to people asking him out

He figured that he could just impress you that weekend by showing off his snowboarding skills (which he didn’t have, though it shouldn’t be too hard for Kise to learn it)

He thought that once he figured it out, he could offer to teach you and make a move on you then

However, when you got there, almost everyone was in awe about how well you snowboarded

Kise could hear the other guys in your class talk about how hot you were while you snowboarded, and he couldn’t help but get a bit jealous

It took him about three tries, but Kise got the hang of it

“Hey you’re really good. Mind if I join?” he asked you, to which you obviously agreed— you can’t say no to hanging out with Kise Ryouta

You and Kise spent the entire weekend snowboarding together and getting to know each other

Kise found you so cool that he completely chickened out of asking you out because he knew he couldn’t handle the rejection if you said no

In the summer, Kise decided to have a beach day with a few of his teammates, and he was thrilled to bump into you at the the beach

“Oh hey Y/N-cchi,” he said coolly, doing his best not to drool over how good you looked in your swimsuit, “what are you doing here?”

“I’m gonna dive with sharks. Wanna join?” you said to him cheerily

Kise did his best to contain his shock. Y/N’s such a badass, he thought to himself

In an attempt to have you find him cool, he agreed.

It goes without saying that he was terrified the entire time, but he did his best to put up a cool facade

His teammates watched him from the shore and they were practically dying of laughter at how scared he looked

However, after that horrifying experience, he realised that asking you out wasn’t nearly as scary, so he finally did once the two of you headed back

He was so over the moon when you agreed that he had enough adrenaline to go for a round two with the sharks

But he decided against it when he thought it through. That shit was far too terrifying for him and he had no idea how you did it

Midorima

You and Midorima were polar opposites

He was reserved, calm and rational while you were outspoken, erratic and spontaneous

But that’s what you loved about each other

When you suggested a beach day to him one summer, he easily said yes, thinking he could lay down and read a book under the sun

However, you had other plans. You were going to dive with sharks and you knew he’d say no to it if you said it as it was, so you hid it behind a forefront of a beach day

“I didn’t tell you this before,” you said when you got to the beach, “but we’re going to swim with sharks!”

His face of shock was the funniest thing you’d seen in a while and you couldn’t stop laughing. “Y/N, I’m not doing that.”

“Too bad, I already reserved it for two people.”

So you dragged your unwilling boyfriend along with you to swim with the sharks

He was so terrified the entire time that he went completely mute

When you got back from the beach, he was so mad at you that he was giving you the silent treatment

You made it up to him by giving him kisses and buying him a can of his favourite red bean soup

Midorima and you made it a habit to go up to a lodge every winter

He knew you loved to snowboard and he loved the peacefulness of the lodge

You’d get him to snowboard with you every once in a while, but he preferred to just watch you have fun while he indulged himself in a book

He loved how passionate you’d get about snowboarding and other hobbies, that it inspired him to try new things every now and then

Aomine definitely thinks that it’s extremely hot how his s/o is so adventurous

The two of you went to school together, but he never really acknowledged you until Momoi ran into you at a resort she dragged him to because she wanted to try the desserts that were popular there

He was confused as to how he’d never noticed you in school because he found you quite cute while you talked to Momoi at the resort

“So, what are you doing here?” Momoi asked you

“Oh, I come here in the winter to snowboard,” you explained.

Damn that’s cool, Aomine thought

“You can probably see me snowboarding from that window over there,” you said to her as you pointed to a large window with a view of a tall snowy slope

Momoi made sure to get a seat close to the window so that she could see you, raving to Aomine about how cool you were, though he didn’t admit it

However, the second he spotted you snowboarding, he was speechless

Momoi was talking to him about the desserts, but he didn’t listen to a word she said because he was so fixated on you

You made all the other people snowboarding around you look so inferior and Aomine found himself falling for you

He asked you out on that very day and you’ve been dating ever since

You tried teaching him how to snowboard a few times, but he’d just get so frustrated when he couldn’t do it that he’d start yelling at the snowboard as if it were a living thing

If it wasn’t cool enough that you snowboarded, you also swam with sharks in the summer

You went to the beach with Aomine one day and he was so distracted by how hot you looked in your swimsuit that he didn’t realise that he agreed to go swimming with you

Next thing he knew, he was jumping into shark infested waters with you, doing his best not to shit himself and rather act tough in front of you

He was practically clinging onto you the entire time though, and you made sure to tease him about it for a long time after that

You and Murasakibara mainly bonded over how much you liked food

He never understood how you enjoyed doing so many adventurous things, but he did his best to be supportive to your hobbies

Akashi found your bold hobbies incredibly attractive

The way you were so playful and fearless was so exhilarating to him that he was hooked the moment he met you

So when the two of you started dating, he was very encouraging of your passions

When he found out that you liked to snowboard, he surprised you one day with a trip to a luxurious resort in the mountains, famous for its snowy slopes

He found snowboarding to be an interesting sport, so he decided to learn it so that he can experience it with you

He mastered it rather quickly and the two of you were able to enjoy the trip snowboarding together

You knew Akashi was open to trying many things, but when he agreed to go swimming with sharks with you in the summer, you were quite surprised

“Are you sure? You don’t have to do this just because I am,” you told him as you walked along the beach with him

“Yeah, it sounds fun. I want to see why you enjoy this,” he confirmed, giving you a gentle smile

Hanamiya thoroughly enjoys how daring you were

He was the one who introduced you to the world of diving with sharks and you were eternally grateful because you found it so fun

The two of you would often go swimming with sharks together, and everyone you knew thought that you guys were insane

He enjoyed scaring you by grabbing your foot underwater, which startled you every single time without fail

While Hanamiya was fearless when it came to sharks, he found snowboarding to be the pure opposite of enjoyable when you took him to the slopes one winter

You still tried your best to teach him though

After his fifth fall, he had a fit, yelling, “This is a bullshit sport!”

Your relationship with him was very easygoing so you didn’t hold back from laughing at his arrogance

He was very comfortable throwing insults left and right, but the second he’s the butt of the joke he becomes an absolute baby

when he does somehow peel himself off of work, he enjoys ballroom dancing

i can just imagine him putting on a vinyl song, holding up his arms and doing the steps to the dance (1, 2, 3... 1, 2, 3) and god forbid someone tries to come in during this time because he’d be too embarrassed to be lenient on their punishment

i imagine he’s super into learning other couple dances too like tango and salsa, so when you get together with him count on being his partner!

i bet he also loves teaching other people things-- like genuinely, considering he is the oldest of the seven (his brothers just test him LOL)

incredibly patient when showing you the steps, taking pride in your improvement and growing warm at the thought of you being able to dance with him at the next chance you get

and his weakness???? online shopping on akuzon 

which, when you find out, makes him extremely embarrassed and depending on whether you have the same past time-- you may or may not buy everything on akuzon

on his home screen interaction dialogue, he says something along the lines of “Akuzon is too convenient... it’s easy to buy a lot of things” while blushing

so I’m thinking sometimes when he does take a breather from his workload, he scrolls on akuzon just browsing for things because it’s quick

and ends up putting like 5 things into the cart  that he doesn’t really need

doesn’t always follow through and buy everything, but he definitely has moments where he impulse buys and it’s gone to bite him in the butt when packages arrive in droves and his brothers are like ??? why are there so many things

Mammon

loves music-- both listening and making it!

likes making his own mixtapes and playlists

and when he gets to share it with you, he’s so nervous; but the giddy happiness he feels when you tell him that it’s good is SO worth the wait and time he puts into his music

he’d be happy just having his mixtapes and music to himself but being able to share it with someone makes it a lot sweeter

definitely makes playlists for and about you because sometimes the feelings he can’t put into words he can tell you through music

idk if he has a recording studio in his room, but i think it’d be pretty fitting if there was

probably gets into composing his music, rapping mayhaps??

at some point likes to DJ as well, though he’s not too good as it rn, but he definitely loooooves playing with the sound effects and tracks

all of these things are him being able to express himself-- put a twist on something that already exists or creating something on his own

it gives him a sense of freedom: to express himself and to do whatever he wants as he pleases

pretty well-rounded when it comes to playing instruments

when he puts his mind to it, he can probably learn anything

most likely already knows how to play the guitar and the drums

has a pretty good voice too tbh

Leviathan

swimming!!

he may be a shut-in, but ya boy has ocean decor, can control sea creatures, so it’s only natural he can swim and swim well

doesn’t do it as often since he prefers watching anime/playing games loads more, but he it’s definitely something he enjoys since it feels like his natural place to be 

considering his dream is to be a professional gamer, it’s not far off to say that he finds it his hobby to start off small and be a youtuber, probably posting reviews of games he’s played or even writing out walk-throughs online

actually loves going to concerts and cons

if he was a fan of hatsune miku you BET he’d want to go to her first live concert with her life-sized hologram, waving the glowsticks in unison with the crowd

would definitely go all four days of Anime Expo where he would be SO happy surrounded by people who can love the same things he does with the same passion

loves creating cosplay to go to these cons by hand; impeccable detail and intense dedication into the craft that shows his love for whatever he’s making

kinda shy about wearing it, but if you’re down to wear any of his costumes, he’d absolutely die happy

it’s just too much love for him to handle in one sitting 

and ofc, hobbies include board games, games, DND, all those!!

Satan

asides from reading, loves traveling when he can whenever he can

he invites you out to places because he enjoys discovering new things and experiencing new things and traveling is the perfect way to do all of that all the time

he’d enjoy hiking too-- on trails, through the wilderness, among the wild; just give him a backpack, an explorers hat, maybe a walking stick (just like the ones in the movies) and he’s on his way!

loves going hiking with you because he likes the way your face lights up at new scenery or the wonders of the world

likes that he can share this enjoyment and excitement of discovery with you because it feels like he’s sharing a little bit of himself too

indoor activity is snuggling in the covers and having movie marathons! and now that he has you and all your movies on DVD (lol) he can now enjoy so much more things

and when he finds out about Netflix, he is NOT sleeping for DAYS

SLAM POETRY

doesn’t think he’s very good, but definitely likes writing down in his journal and even some scattered words that form a bit of poetry sometimes

really really shy about sharing it, but if you coax him a little, he’d be willing to show you (though you’ll have a hard time convincing him to show you poetry he wrote about you)

people have said, and I agree, cat cafe is definitely something he’d seek out and enjoy; literal dream come true

Asmodeus

has a very creative mind and deft hands meant for craft (among other things ahem)

as a fashionable person and a trendsetter, he’d love making his own jewelry and clothes, picking out the beads and metalware for the earrings or bracelets and feeling out the cloth and stitches for his outfits

if levi IS into making cosplay, it’d be such a nice way for them to bond together since Levi is pretty good with picking out material too

i like to imagine he enjoys making jewelry for his brothers too:

a stud earring for mammon, maybe convincing him to explore other options and wear other jewelry too

giving his brothers the options of clip on earrings if they wanted to try something temporary, gives satan a golden bracelet, lucifer a silver ring etc

suuuuuper supportive of you if you wanted any type of piercings and would absolutely love it if you wore his jewelry

god he would bedazzle you in all his jewelry and clothes if he could

another hobby is doing yoga!!

definitely gives a good reason for any of his flexibility, or maybe it’s because he’s naturally flexible that yoga is calming for him

also loves to invite you to do yoga with him

you’d definitely get a bit steamy doing certain positions with him, but MOST of the time, he does encourage you to stretch, relax, and strengthen your body

Beelzebub

so athletic he could probably play every sport

i agree with the masses: he’d DEFINITELY be good at hockey

basketball too (just imagine Kagami from Kuroko no Basuke)

you know what they say about big hands

big, strong hands, good for crafting that involves a little more strength, but considering he’s a pretty tender and patient guy, is great at sculpting with clay, which extends to pottery as well

just imagine him sitting near a kiln, spinning the clay and using his hands to shape the curve and notches of a pot

considering how many plates and bowls he’s probably eaten, it makes for a good way to replace them HAHA

good at crafting with glass too considering it requires steady hands and strength to spin glass evenly

enjoys a lot of arts and crafts and loves giving them as gifts, especially if they’re made from his own hands

one of the main reasons why he started and likes doing these as a hobby actually

adores the look on you face when you created a glass terrarium for your plants or created glass ornaments dyed with your favorite colors

would definitely be the type of person to put his hands on yours as he teaches you how to shape the clay and have plenty of fun with you watching you try to make glass ornaments with or without success

Belphegor

during his waking hours, he loves to study the stars

loved to watch them in the human world, but without a night sky, he’s content with looking up for constellations in books from the library

if you buy him the cute lamp that lights stars onto the ceiling, he’ll find you so endearing because he’d enjoy lying in bed with you and just looking up at the lights and being in each other’s arms-- imagining the day he gets to do this with you for real, on a picnic blanket, looking up at the moon and stars

i imagine he’d like to doodle too

i say MAINLY doodles because they’re easier like drawing chibis or whatever thinks is amusing and lowkey keeps him awake (though Lucifer doesn’t like it when he draws on the desks)

does sometimes go all out and draw amazingly well, whenever the mood strikes him

when you ask him, he jokingly says you’re his muse; but honestly wouldn’t put it past him to have drawn a portrait of you, awake or asleep, at some point

surprisingly good at sewing-- or at the very least mending rips and tears

i feel like beel has a lot of ripped shirts (...from being, yknow, ripped) so he’s gotten pretty good at simple stitches, which eventually evolved into something more

didn’t start off as a hobby but he did eventually find it soothing to sew and embroider

levi and asmodeus adore his skills and he grumbles, but doesn’t ever say ‘no’ to them when they ask for his help

Hallo! I wanted to ask which BL mangas would you recommend to a beginner like me? Seeing all the beautiful art piqued my interest, and I wanted to read some for a while now, but I have no idea which ones or where to start > <" thank you in advance! ❤️

Ahhh there are just too many to recommend as it also depends on each person’s taste. I guess you can start with the popular ones first, then figure out what your taste is.

Here is a list of my personal favourites:

- Everything written by Kii Kanna, especiall Umibe no Etranger and Harukaze no Etranger (sequel). Cute and bright heart-warming stories. Nice character everywhere you can hardly hate anyone. Lovely and unique art style.

- Given by Kizu Natsuki. She goes by gusari when she draws doujinshi. She is very popular with her Haikyuu and Kuroko no Basket djs. Apart from the super beautiful art, her story telling is really good too. There are quite a lot of angsts and the timeline in her story might be a little confusing sometimes though.

- Sasaki to Miyano and Hirano to Kagiura (spinoff) by Shou Harusono: School-theme BL which is really cute and easy to read (I guess?). It’s lighter than the others I mention in this list so it might be a good start if you have never read BL before. Safe for work most of the time lol

- Everything by Hayakawa Nojiko. I find the art style super lovely but there are people who think its too complicated. Nice story telling too :3 Their stories are always a bit sad but most of the time the characters will find happiness.

- Zettai BL ni naru sekai vs Zettai BL ni naritakunai otoko by Konkichi: This one is hilarious! Its like a gag manga with very short chapters about a guy living in a world where everything is BL, trying not to get himself in a BL situation. It’s super fun to read and it actually will teach you a lot about BL mangas haha. (The references are sooo on point)

- Ore to Joshi no Kakushigoto by Kashima Chiaki: I actually like everything she makes but I think this one is a notable one. Beautiful art and she always does very well with the character’s development so it doesnt feel rushed and forced like many other BL mangas.

There are really a LOT more I cant list them all out. These are just the ones that popped up on my head now. Maybe you can try these and let me know what you think then I can give you more recommendations :3
