Fun news! My mod just got its first ever contribution from someone other than me! Specifically, a Simplified Chinese translation that seems pretty complete! They even translated the (rather long) guide book!!

yall missed the ENTIRE meaning behind poemeater' post. they aren't saying that people wanting another part is a bad thing, they're talking about how people are lacking manners when it comes to writers.

the first thing people do is demand a part two, they do not ask. they tell writers "part 2!" which cna be frustrating because they don't bother yo add anything else. also, just to add on, majority of the people who do want a part 2 don't even bother to reblog the post. they don't bother to share it. (not all of them, but 3/4th of the time that is the situation).

like it feels like they dint care about what they have, all they want is more more more, yk?

Since I saw a few people doing this yesterday when someone liked their old work, I'm gonna pick up the habit myself; I work hard on what I make and feel they should be appreciated again. 🩷 About half an hour ago there were 21 works passively liked (not including my masterlist) that I worked hard on, but no reblogs.

Passive consumption is not ideal, but I can make it work by using excuses to share it again. 🙂

I feel so spoilt because the recent dramas I've been watching lately have just been so good --

-- then I go back to Meet You at the Blossom. Which isn't a bad show, but because it's only a handful of episodes it always feels so rushed in comparison and sometimes I'm like 'so what is the plot now'?

I know we're lucky to have this show and I very much appreciate the work and effort into getting a Taiwanese/Chinese mixed production so we could limbo our way beneath the censorship bar and have an uncensored BL drama for a Chinese audience. The cast are great and are doing amazing work! I have very little negative to say about it in general, only that we have two episodes left and I feel like watching this show is like reading the bullet pointed notes of a longer book.
