Did I stay up literally all night in hopes of fixing my sleep schedule tonight by being so absolutely exhausted that I will have no choice but to sleep at a reasonable hour? Yes.

Did I think this through at all? No.

Is this healthy? Beats me, I'm not a doctor.

Bit did I roll out of bed at a bright and early 6:00 AM and immediately set things out for my breakfast and started on my laundry? Also yes.

So far a lack of sleep has done what coffee only wishes it could do for me in the morning. I am awake I am alert I am ready to go.

Minilla was adopted by Gojira when Minya was a baby still. He wishes he could hang out around his dad more often. Minya likes to "help" his father cook on weekends tho (when Goji gets everything done so Biollante can just heat up their food) and watch Masterchef.

Suko was abandoned when he was a toddler and has little to no memory of how his mother looked like, but still has some hope of finding his parents again. He really look out to when Kong visits the orphanage and he sees him nearly as a hero. Besides Kong, he's very close the orphanage's old janitor, Joshua (Gnarled Fingers).

He's eventually adopted by Kong and Goji and he thinks Goji's scars are the coolest thing ever.

• For me, lack of posting usually signifies the lack of a steady routine and productivity in general. My motivation and any desire to pass my exam completely disappeared two days before it😭. Definitely paying for that. But I believe there’s still hope for the one on the 25th.

• I started Before the Coffee Gets Cold cause I saw a bunch of posts about it and it’s been on the TBR for a while. I ended up sobbing violently on the bus. I’m a fan.

• Whenever I think I’m doing good with studying consistently, I always crash at the worst time. Flipping through my journal and seeing the same things over and over again is getting old, so I decided to set some concrete goals with my 20th birthday as my deadline. I’ll see how that works out.

"The I don't even drink Coffee I can't do anything right" line is both so funny, but also drives me insane.

Candace is cripplingly insecure. This is of course, obviously part of her busting motivation. But it also informs a lot of how she interacts with Jeremy, particularly early in the series. She is super cool, but she's constantly living in the shadow of her little brothers so none of her accomplishments seem significant. But for all of Candace's bravado she feels she has to prove her worth.

Phineas and Ferb didn't HAVE to make her something of course, but as a gift it is on Phineas and Ferb to get something she likes. But it doesn't even cross her mind that Phineas and Ferb could have done something wrong, but that the problem lies with HER.

She does often lash out her brothers. She usually does blame them for her problems, even when it doesn't make sense. So it's not that it never occurs to her to blame Phineas and Ferb. But it's also kinda clear its not what she truly believes. It's easier to pretend that "Phineas and Ferb ruin everything" than acknowledge that "I'm pathetic and worthless". Just like its easier to pretend "Phineas and Ferb are super annoying" than acknowledge that she's proud of them and that she thinks everything she does is horrible anyway.

She literally sees something Phineas and Ferb did for her as something she is responsible for reacting to correctly. There's lots to be said in regards to Candace and positions of authority. But in some ways sees everything Phineas and Ferb do as something SHE is responsible for, even when its explicitly not. To some extent the fact that she can't keep her brother's under control is something that she sees as a personal failure.

Bare with me now but I think certain portions of fandoms reactions to a piece of explicitly aromantic media is telling in a way.

So I think TSV's lack of romance from the get go probably weeded out most of the types of people who aren't capable of interacting with media beyond shipping or romance. But even still I see the occasional er take or reaction to the SV's handling of & lack of romance.

I love how the most impactful plot and story relevant relationships are non romantic. I love how almost romantic relationships/attractions are exes,in the past, made the F up (Hayward the F we're you yapping about man?)or not on screen... All but one which brings me to the reason for my post.

But the strong reactions to episode 36 are tickling me.

A lot of people are upset about the ending specifically how they think the tragedy is excessive and depressing for no reason. Personally I belive Sebastian and Devereux did make it out at the end and that last bit was a ptsd flashback to the incident and I do agree that it'll be a bit much for the NPCs we've been following for a whole 1 hour+ episode will meet a grisly end for horror reasons I guess.

BUT the reactions by people who's interpretation of the ending as being more tragic I feel is interesting. I do not believe people would be as upset if it wasn't a romantic relationship that was centered. If Seb & Dev had been unambiguously "just" friends getting sucked into some nightmare Scooby Doo plot, if it was centered primarily on Dev & his sister, if it was only about those non romantic relationships and an unambiguous Bad End, I Don't believe certain portions of the fandom would've cared as much.

I feel people were waiting for a romantic narrative, wanted their cute assumed white yaoi boys to ship as a reward for "sitting through" all the aromantic relationship stuff. Were hoping for a cute soft fluffy romance that they could ship, the right kind of queer representation.

The aro/ace older woman, the Achillean trans man, the sapphic trans woman, all the myriad NB/agender main/major characters is fine...but where's the cis (white) yaoi boys?(nevermind that both of Seb & Dev's VAs are POC)

Idk I guess this is a fundamentally uncharitable assumption to make about people but I notice things and maybe I'm projecting too much

He probably was a bit disappointed that he didn’t get anything (evidence including: abandoning everything he knew to build a meaningful gift for his sister, making coffee and bedrolls for everyone he sends to Arwell, building fancy beds and cordoned-off areas for “guests”, valuing Jordon’s letter enough to pin it up, willingly giving medicine to beggar children, taking the time to research psychite refining for a wild woman and freely giving the results to her with bo expectation to be repaid, making his “twin” a weapon within the first few hours of his existence, and making a bionic eye for said “twin” while he was in cryptosleep and Mechi missed him).
