Rings of Power have many flaws. But Sauron / Halbrand's writing is not one in my opinion. Lots of people say there's a flaw in his character because his evil plan doesn't make sense (forging the rings) because he doesn't really do much to achieve it. Except... it's a bad reading of what the series did with this character. Here in the series, Sauron's only goal was to retire and it was Galadriel who made him deviate from this goal. I mean... the show tells us outright at the end. Sauron no longer had hope in what he was doing, he decided to live the rest of his life quietly except that Galadriel showed up and ironically gave him hope in his twisted cause. No more no less. The series has plenty of flaws, but Sauron's writing is at least consistent in the series. It's just that you're obsessed with the idea that Halbrand being Sauron must have had an evil plan in mind for the beginning of the show. Except that's not the case.

The good lady Sully at the dreaded front angle, where I cannot rely on the swoop of her banana-face to make the appealing shape. It couldn’t be avoided forever. Every time I draw her lantern i think, I should design one that looks cooler ‘A’... But she apparently doesn’t like fiddly fancy things.

Do you ship Galadriel & Sauron / Halbrand ? (Saurondriel / Haladriel) Well, I therefore advise you to read the book that inspired the cdrama Till the end of the moon. And yes, I'm talking about the book and not the cdrama. Then if anyone has other suggestions that also end happily, remember Saurondriel, I'll take it !

I don't think we truely grasp just how old Lady Galadriel was.. She was over 8000 years old. (though there's a debate still going about her age) In fantastic literature it might be considered usual for a character to be thousands of years old.

But if you actually think about it in the context of earth history, it becaomes unfathomable..Just.. Think about it.. She would have watched civilizations rise and fall.. She would have been there when humanity was learning to make ceramic pots.. She would have been there when humanity tamed the first horses.. She would have been there when the first monuments were built.. She would have been there when humanity invented the written word..

She would have been there when the piramides were built, and still there when the knowledge of how they were built all but disappeared.. She would be there when Rome was built.. And still there she was when the 1000 year old empire fell.. I think it is both divine and kind of terrifying..
