She thought she was fine. Until she started puking in the morning during her Trip to France

It was positive

She was pregnant.

During her trip she stumbled across a loving family. At a swingers party (this was during the early stages before she decided)

At one point she wasn't going to keep the pregnancy but then while her trip around France found a lovely couple named Emile and Gabriel.

They were so loving and kind to her. Emilie even joked that they could be twins.

)she had decided to grow her hair out and stop dying her hair black. Nobody would recognize her and on the plus side Selina had absolutely ravishing blonde hair. )

She wasn't planning on keeping the pregnancy but then she heard the couples plight.

Emile was infertile. And Gabriel too. But they really wanted a child

they were so loving and kind and supportive that Selena felt it would be best she gave her child the life of a child that was wanted.

Both were deeplly loving. But they didn't want to be intrusive , They argued against the idea but Selina made up her mind.

she would keep the pregnancy, give the couple a chance to raise a bouncing baby child that they would love and adore.

Selina never felt like she was cut out to be a mother butShe still visits.

At least once a year for his birthday.

She even was Even labeled godmother of her son should both the parents be unfit for her sons. She was still a part of her child's life.

All was going well until the incident

Now imagine, Selina Kyle finds out her son was in a worse position, his father is emotionally neglectful now and is in a downward spiral trying to find a way to save his wife at the cost of his own son's happiness.

and get the bat family to help , (save Adrien, fight Gabriel advocate for him to be taken to either home or emancipation. )

Miraculous Adventurer Au 2: Electric Boogaloo!

Hi again, it's me! So, quick story time! I was looking through my notes the other day and found a few more things for this Au. I completely forgot I never followed up on it, so here we goooooooooo!

Nah I'm kidding, context/recap first. This Au takes place in Fantasy Anime France, which is Medieval France...but better! Basically just a Medieval Au with adventurers guilds and monsters! Typical RPG shenanigans! Gabriel and Emilie are king and queen (she's alive by the way and Gabriel is more like Hesperia than Hawkmoth. Good guy.), with Adrien as their son. Amelie and Felix also exist in Lunden (London) which is obviously in England. Important note is that this setting isn't tied down to a specific century, I just wanted the vibes. We have vampires, syrens and mages anyway, realism was never a priority. Now...it just so happens that Prince Adrien and Princess Kagami (of an as-of-yet-undecided) eastern kingdom are married. Just follow me on this.

In terms of a recap: Marinette wants to go to the Capital (Paris) to attend a prestigious fashion academy, or at least to try and get in/get a fashion-related job. On her way she decides she needs more money for her trip, and picks up adventuring. Now...it just so happens that she meets a handsome "pro" at the job, named Chat Noir. So naturally, she doesn't give this guy her name yet, because he's a stranger. Marinette's first job is pretty simple. Pick up a sword, whack a couple wolves over the head because they haven't been letting an herblist go into the nearby forest, get paid. Unfortunately, the resident rogue in black leather decides to follow the pretty girl around. Low and behold, they end up fighting the few wolves side by side and turns out they make a pretty good team! Marinette doesn't exactly know how to swordfight anyway, she was basically bashing the wolves with the flat side of her sword.

And so begins the amazing partnership that will surely drive this poor girl insane! And because it just so happens that a ladybug lands on Marinette's face as they leave the battlefield, Chat of course has a new name for her. Ladybug the Scarlet Adventurer is born! And...it just so happens that the herbalist I mentioned last paragraph is named Alya. She is, in fact, a witch. Well...kind of. She specializes in illusion magic, which is completely useless for helping around her village in day to day work. So she got a part time job as a herblist to get some experience. And after being saved by Ladybug (as well as some heroic bragging from Chat Noir), they have their first fan! Back to the adventurer's guild they go, where Chat insists she keep all the money from the job, and urges Marinette to work with him again. He walks away, not giving her a chance to refuse, leaving her a little flabbergasted. I'm sure that won't be important later...

Now...do you all remember how I said that Prince Adrien and Kagami are married? And clearly, Adrien is also Chat Noir? So how can he be in two places at once? Why, Felix of course! Amelie and her son were visiting for the wedding preparations, which lasted a good few weeks, and he got to know Kagami pretty well. Naturally, they fell in love, especially since while she likes Adrien, Kagami isn't in love with him. So...with a bit of help from Amelie, they pulled the swicharoo! Adrien wanted freedom and to explore the country anyway, so why not let Felix (who clearly likes administrative stuff) take over and also marry the girl he loves? Therefore, Adrien Agreste has to hide his identity as the Prince of Paris, and I'm sure that won't be important later...

About Alya, she goes back to her village after getting saved by Ladynoir...and naturally, she decides to also take up adventuring because they've inspired her! What good is she doing wasting away in a small town anyway, when she could be traveling the world and exploring new places? Of course, she drags her boyfriend Nino into this mess almost immediately, since he happens to be a Bard. A DnD-style bard, where music is also (kinda) magic. He would have been perfectly happy to be a local celebrity in a small town if it meant staying with the girl he loves, but hey! If Alya wants adventure, consider him on board! Is it any wonder then that these two duos end up meeting eventually? Ladynoir has gone on a few more jobs, and they're slowly getting the hang of working together and beating up wolves, small smiles and the occasional bandit. So when they suddenly bump into DjWifi a few weeks later, and with a real chance to talk once Nino encourages Alya to push down her hero worship, Marinette and Alya hit it off and become good friends! Adrien is also really happy to have a friendly guy who treats him like a normal person, instead of "your highness" this and "my prince" that. Naturally, they all team up in a party of four! And so, the adventures continue!

I have waaaaay more to say about this Au, for example Max being a genius artificer, Kim being a sailor boy who falls in love with the pretty mermaid Ondine, Luka the travelling bard (and Marinette's ex), Juleka who is nursing a wounded (mermaid) Rose back to health on the Liberty (and also got bit by a vampire recently), and Chloe asking for the famous Ladybug and her team to go on a job for her. So yeah, the Adventurer AU is still alive and kicking! I'll be back with more details, but in the meantime feel free to AMA if you want! Anon asks are on! i think ultimately no matter what we have to remember that ladynoir STILL has a romantic history and chat noir and ladybug did not fall in love with each other for no reason!! think of them rn as two people who almost dated and are now trying to be really chill and cool about the fact that they VERY RECENTLY got very uber sad and pissed about getting tricked into thinking they got married and had a family together AND now um boom suddenly they're both dating other people and its totally awesome and fun and they're not in a strange ambiguous situation anymore and now they have to NOT accidentally brush hands when theyre on patrol and this is a normal thing to think about

re the whole ladynoir arc and how things will play out I GENUINELY THINK adrienette will break up at some point bc this show IS like the drama show and it has a minimum of 3 more seasons left AND the love square is never be stable for long and ifl that will always be the message pre-reveal. like if u have 2 identities each that all constantly interact (ladynoir and adrienette) u will always eventually feel conflicted between both identities bc that's how perfect u r for each other! the whole point is that a reveal would eventually solve everything and thats why pre-reveal love square is always doomed. i love suffering btw. ANYWAY adrienette rn is interesting bc they're getting closer but also facing problems at the same time and i think their time as a couple will make them so very interesting like. as exes. SORRY im not preying on their downfall I HAVE ADRIENETTE VISIONS TOO and i think exes adrienette who r more comfortable w each other should have a fight someday where its v obvious they still want each other but idk theres like problems abound and shit. My miraculous ladybugoc awakening review

(spoilers ahead, proceed with caution)

Okay I really love this movie

The soundtrack, cinematography and general character development is astonishing

It's MAINLY Ladynoir which I personally LOVE (although I'm a bigger fan of marichat)

I like the use of a temporary, less threatening villain to introduce how the two work together before marinette eventually says no to being ladybug

And obviously retracts that when her friend Alya is put in danger (similar to the actual series)

Marinette hasn't used the lucky charm yet and we only see a couple examples of the cataclysm which I'm not too happy about

They work incredibly well together though "stronger together"

Also they're so in love my dude

I like the use of Chloe tormenting marinette to show (when she saves master fu in the start) she'll help people even when in danger

I also like how tikki picked a smart, capable and selfless owner who proved herself

And plagg picked some random kid

I think that's really in character for either kwami

Also Chat calling her a watermelon/his sidekick at the very beginning makes me giggle my dude

I enjoy the usage of the two villains as one of the larger bads just so we could see how well they work as a pair

The singing is beautiful and in "you are ladybug" (and to be honest most of the songs) they used the melody of the original theme tune at one or more parts and I think that's ingenious

During the time lapse kinda thing we see newspapers and one had the bubbler on it, I enjoy how they've used villains and acumatized victims from the og show

Marinette being clumsy as fuck Is always really cute and Adrien helping her is sweet as hell

Also Chat bringing ladybug to a place he holds so dear and cherishes so deeply makes me so happy. He trusted her with this and then she proved herself as a like

Worthy love by recuperating that love with some of her own (although only a little bit) you can tell she likes chat to some extent romantically but is too in love with Adrien to notice that love like in the actual show

In one of the songs she admits she has feelings

"What is this feeling, I can't fall in love with him"

And chat noticing this, leaning in for a kiss and being rejected breaks my heart

"I'm sorry, my heart is already someone else's. We can't see this through"

"Wait don't go, just give it time to grow. We could be great, I know. I've fallen for you"

Before ladybug leaves and chat getting all sad

They use humour to lighten it but it's so heartbreaking

He also backtalks to his father and jesus

God I might be sobbing soon

Adrien rejecting Marinettes invitation to the ball EVEN THOUGH SHES THE ONE HE LOVES

Ugh this movie might destroy me

May need to dye my hair blue to become marinette

All in all it's a 100/10 movie

There were small little parts I didn't like (like how instead of a lucky charm restoring everything she just magics with her hands???) But they were overshadowed immensely by all the incredible, well thought out and in depth beautiful moments and genuinely just the overall idea and how it's executed

It's a brilliant movie and I HIGHLY recommend it

No movie is perfect but this is pretty close imo, it's actually really cute and just heartwarming

And there is some LESBIAN tension between Chloe and marinette in the ball scene

I love this movie deeply, it's heartwarming as well as heart shattering and the depth it goes too is brilliant

It's a phenomenal movie and I

Please watch it if you haven't already

Honestly the soundtrack and singing alone is breathtaking

When I first watched dark owl in 2018 I was so confused for a second. Ladynoir looked more married on main than they did in usual episodes so i thought I missed an episode where they had gotten together or something

Bro I know, Dark Owl is an incredibly underrated episode solely for the casual Ladynoir moments, like

The shared exasperation like a couple of parents? The very couple-y mirroring of each other's expressions? The way they had an entire wordless conversation through one shared glance at each other in the 3rd pic? Marriage

The two of them coming up with a stupidass plan together and giggling like idiots? Look at how adorable and silly and carefree they look here. They deserve to laugh like this again

Not to mention the slice of life moments and glimpses of what the two of them do together when they're not fighting Akumas, like saving kitties from trees

Or hanging out together on a rooftop at sunset. Just talking about their day and relaxing together. And despite the fact that anyone could see them from any of those apartments, it feels so intimate and cozy. Ladybug was watching red flashes of lights bringing back people, blasted away by acuma during the fight. It was fast and easy battle after Banix brought them back.

Ladybug sent Adrian to safety and came to acuma from behind. Chat Noir appeared on the scene just in time to destruct the victim, so Ladybug just hit the device at acuma’s hand to release the dark butterfly.

Chat Noir jumped next to her after she’ve called the miraculous ladybugs and they both watched the red flow traveling around them.

“Pound it?” Chat turned to her offering his fist. Something on his face was off though. Uncertainty?

“Pound it.” She touched his fist with hers, but instead of leaving right away as usual, she looked in his eyes a little longer, searching for something in there.

Her future husband... was her partner? Was he her second choice? Will Adrian reject her feelings in the future? It was possible considering his reaction today. But he also called her exceptional. Well, not her her, Ladybug. Were her two selves so different for him, even the opposite it seems?

But could she really be happy with someone else? No matter what Adrian feels, she loves him. Could it be possible to build a strong and happy family over lost love? With her partner?

Now that she thought about it, she could easily imagine relationships with Chat Noir. They already understood each other without words, they trusted one another with their lives on a dayly basis, they had a lot in common — principles in life, shared responsibilities, the path they chose to follow every day.

But it was just one part of her life. One part of her personality. Would he accept her other self? Yesterday she’d say no, cause Chat Noir have already rejected her, as Marinette, when she was fake-in-love with him. But now she knew they were to be married. Will he find out her identity in the future? Was this the only reason he’d changed his mind?

Should she start considering dating her partner just because she saw them as a couple in that possible future? Should she allow that future dictate her present? But she loved Adrian no matter what! Even if Chat is very close to her and he’d be natural second choice. But...

But she didn’t want to settle for a second choice. And she had too much respect for Chat Noir to even imagine him not being on the first place in his wife’s heart. As much as she would want him to be her first choice to marry him too.

It didn’t feel like he was a second choice for Marinette from the future though, giving the way she was protecting him, looking at him, kissing him, reacting on his touch... But she, today’s Ladybug, 16 y.o. Marinette loved Adrian!.. ohhh... it was too hard to think through all this mess right now.

“Ladybug, I...” Chat Noir said, like he wanted to tell her something important. “I... see you around.” He finished. And he turned around jumping away, leaving her with her thoughts.

And for the first time she felt lonely without him.

“Ladybug, I...” Chat Noir started after the fight. He wanted to say something about the scene they saw earlier. Tell her he loved her and only her. But, what could he say? She just saw him being married with another woman.

And would she even want to hear what he has to say? It’s not like she’d ever wanted or even accepted his love. Not that he could say anything anyway without giving up his identity, as she only saw Adrian next to her, brought to the future.

So there was nothing Chat Noir could really say or do right now. “I.. see you around.” He said and left.

Adrian was watching as Marinette drank juice through a straw. They were sitting together with Alya and Nino in a cafe during lunch when Adrian found his eyes locked on Marinette.

He looked at her lips holding the straw and the flash back of her older self tenderly kissing Chat Noir appeared before his eyes. Adrian swallowed. He couldn’t help but wonder how would it feel to touch those lips with his. Never before he thought of kissing someone else except for Ladybug. Even while dating Kagami he didn’t desire a kiss, rather tried to avoid it.

Maybe older Chat Noir had some point. Marinette was a sweet girl, passionate about everything she believed in, kind and attentive to her friends. She was definitely beautiful, even Adrian didn’t really notice it before so clearly, as it wasn’t an important fact concerning his friend.

But after he’d seen, well, what he’d seen few days ago, he just couldn’t stop thinking about it. Not that his feelings for Ladybug were any weaker. Not at all! But Marinette... He’ll marry HER in the future? Not Ladybug?

He didn’t have anything against Marinette, she was dear to his heart, but his heart itself was given to Ladybug and her alone. Even now he was staring at Marinette’s lips imagining kissing her... What was wrong with him?!

“Dude,” Nino’s whisper brought Adrian back from his thought. “Stop staring. You’ll scare her.” He pointed at girl’s direction.

Adrian’s eyes widened when he turned to look at Nino. “I wasn’t.. I didn’t...”

“It’s fine, dude.” Nino assured him. “I can see you like her. Just find a better was of showing it, you know how she is around you. Don’t make it whirred.”

“I don’t... I’m not...” Adrian’s cheeks flushed.

“Great!” Nino patted his shoulder. “Now you’re stumbling too.”

The lunch was over and after throwing few more glances at his classmate and possible future wife Adrian was back in class. His head was full of thoughts and his heart — full of mixed feelings.

From one side he felt betrayal of his own judgment and his own feelings, but he wasn’t sure of not feeling kind of happy at the same time. It was way too easy to understand his future alter-ego’s self with his choice now, that Adrian opened his eyes. Who wouldn’t fall for Marinette?

Nathaniel was ones in love with her, Adrian’s best friend Nino too. Then there was Luca, who probably still loves Marinette, Adrian didn’t know though the reason they’d broke up. She was good with Max, and Kim, and Mark, and... with everyone around.

Adrian felt warmth and he was kind of secretly proud of the fact, that this incredible girl would chose HIM to be her husband, even she definitely could pick anyone and they’d follow her happily.

But there was Ladybug. The girl Adrian wanted to follow. Always. How could it be possible to feel like this? And all at the same time. There was a quest in his life to be figured out soon, otherwise Adrian wouldn’t be able to concentrate anymore.

            Chapter 1: Simple plan

He stared at the box while shaking it steadily which made him sneeze even more. 

“Milady I still don’t understand the purpose of me holding the feathers. You know I'm allergic to ThAh-Achoo” His sneeze nearly tilted it more where a couple feathers fell gently on the ground. Oh chat, she giggled abundantly to herself knowing he was unaware of how foolish he looked in the akumatized getup. Though he was her fool and she was content with that.

 “ It’s simple really,” She began for the fifth time, "Your outfit in feathers is almost Identical to the head guard so you can swap in his place in enough time to save the prisoners.” She pointed to the small flock of bird people all affected by the akuma, A famous ornithologist who was recently defunded due to a bird seed poisoning incident. 

“Once that’s done” she continued “ I can go to the nest and considering she’ll send out more guards Come from behind say lucky charm hopefully use it to destroy her visor, the akuma, and Hawkmoth’s chances of controlling paris. You got that Chat?”  

“You are so beautiful, strong, and smart it makes my heart ache.”

“Um...pardon?” LB stared at him blushing in confusion.

“Marry me please.” Chat Noir handing her a paper mache flower which seems to be handmade by him.

“Chat were you even listening we are in the middle of fighting an akuma”

“ I know. I listen, I watch, I feel even when you don't know I do.” 

“Alright then listen,”She breathed trying not to break his heart “I cannot answer you chat cause we have a situation, I like someone else, and we can't get married because we just turned 18!”

He took a minute considering his next words carefully.

“You wanna know something bugaboo.”

“What?” She asked questionaly playing along.

“I love you too much, you're my safe haven, a precious piece of my life and that's why I keep coming back to you.”

Ugh why was he so persistent. Wait was her heart … pounding? Yes. Was she really thinking about kissing him again right now? Maybe. Would the akuma give them time for that?

Ha, No.

“Okay Chat your starting to sound really clingy” She laughed half-heartedly. 

“It is better chance of me not cheating.” he winked in a less heavy tone.

True...She thought as she took the flower and gazed at it in awe at all the effort and details shining off its petals.

“Now, I'm only accepting this because it would look nice on my windowsill” She teased haughtily. 

She kissed him on the cheek. 

“Are you ready to take on this akuma Chaton?”

“Are you ready to answer my question?”

She rolled her eyes and leaped to the opposite roof.

Gale Reviews: Miraculous World: New York

(The following review contains spoilers, and if you would like to not be spoiled, I would recommend watching the episode before reading)

(I had to pause a LOT to get through this special)

-Oh s*** Cosmo bug and Astro Noir. That is so cool.

-Okay maybe its my audio, but their voices seem a bit deeper. No big, just something I noticed.

-Okay the yellow flower was cute. Good on you kitty.

- Also, side note. This is very nice animation. Very crisp.

- Marinette is moving on... kinda. Well, she is trying. Its not easy getting over someone you have a thing for. I guess that means Miracle Queen did happen and I will need to suck it up. But.... I am not moving on yet either.

- The puppet show was perfection. And honestly on par with what you would expect from middle school projects. (I almost thought it was the adults showing them and was like WTF)

-BACK THE F***. Madame Bustier is PREGNANT! PREGNANT?! I am so lost? What is the story!? Who is the father! Is she married? Is it artificial insemination! Is it the principal?

-Adrien so moved by Marinette’s outburst of Friendship. Marinette ‘Just a friend’ Dupain-Cheng is going the Tia Gardner method of friendship. Lol

-Marinette ready to fight and Gabriel just like ‘Yea sure whatever’ (Gabriel’s smile murders puppies)

- Kagami trying to cheer adrien up. If you love adrigami, get that juice. (That looked like a kiss kiss, but the angle seemed off, so I am not counting it that way.)

- Kitty Clicker is wonderful. This entire scene is gold.

-  Gorrilla doesnt like planes, poor baby

- Plagg, you are a devious little s***. I love you so much. As a writer, his dialogue on how to convince adrien is so devilish its amazing. Using technicalities to tempt adrien.

-Lukanette shippers get your juice... even if it was still tainted a bit by Adrien inclusion. You still get a kiss.

- Okay, can we appreciate that Adrien is also having the same amount of trouble as Marinette moving on, but also include Guilt into the equation? I love this because you KNOW Chat noir is going to get an ear full later.

-Marinette has totally moved on from Adrien.... Oh my poor sweet little girl. You havent. You havent even a little. This ride is litterally the reverse of Startrain and its amazing. Alya is NOT helping. Also, give the person that drew Marinette’s Daydreams a f***ing raise. They earned it

-Marinette pulling herself OUT of the situation. Now adrien is slightly bummed out. Well i am sure that this is the last awkward experience with Adrien she will have. It isnt like the two of them will get lost in NY together... thats whats gonna happen isnt it?

-Marinette walking past all the couples sleeping together. JULROSE GET YOUR JUICE!!!

-Ah yes, nothing like watching the sunset with your good friend. Yes, you good pal, Adrien. Who is Just a friend. Wow, the realization that Marinette used the word friend in this movie more times then Adrien did in the entire series so far. (Or at the very least close)

- Adrien, STOP! Marinette is trying to move on from you! Stop making it so damn difficult for her. (I am not serious, i am eating this s*** up like Sushi)

-Nino confirms he loves Adrien. ADRINO COME GET YOUR JUICE! But yea, I feel alya and Nino’s pain. So they are going to help them both.

-Adrienette hugs. Yes, good.

-And thank goodness for Techno Pirate! Saving everyone from awkwardness by trying to bring down a plane... thats heading for NY...

-OH SWEET! BATMAN RIP OFF AND Captain Marvel rip off! And their sidekicks, Robin rip off and... Medusa girl? Okay Neat.

-Jokes aside, Majestia and Night Owl are boss as hell.

-Wow, I know that Ladybug and Chat noir got powerups now. But these United Heroes make their powers look so bland in comparison.

-Get rekt France!

-ADRIEN! DONT USE YOUR PHONE ON AN AIRPLANE! Well, unless he is using the in flight wifi, then he good.

-How come New York has a f*** ton of superheroes in this universe? America really gets all the cool stuff regardless of what fictional universe your in.

- Why are the superheroes so keen on watching over Marinette’s class? Do they know? Do they know Marinette and Adrien are there? Or is it like they just want to prevent an international incident. PLEASE LET IT BE THE LATER.

- I have only had Aeon for 15 seconds and I would violently murder anyone who harms her.

-Oh my Sabrina! GET YOURSELF AN AMERICAN BOY! ... And Chloé is going to ruin the fun. Oof tough break roomies.

-The entire class! I cant even! Not even a second after the door closes they out to party on the roof!

-Aeon, “See? They are made for eachother!”

- Damn, now that’s some guitar playing! Plus Her design is boss as heck. America really just has better versions of EVERYTHING.

-American boy basically snuck in to see Sabrina! GET IT GIRL!

-HOTDOG SUPERHERO! WITH MAGIC HOTDOGS!!!!!! BEST NEW YORK EVER!

-Nino and Alya be tag teaming this!

-Wow Zag, you stuffing me full of Adrinette goodness. Gorilla is a beautiful sunflower.

- Marinette and Adrien havent been in the US 24 hours and they already have two shippers of them. Also, what do doors have against them?

-Jess is Shipping it too hard. “Lets put them in danger!”

-Jess is having way too much fun with this.

-Hawkmoth akumatizing an actual Super villain. FINALLY!

- “Wouldn’t you rather have an Atomic Bomb?” I love Techno pirate.

-”Super Heroes should never use their powers for personal gain.”  Hmmm I wonder how this will back fire on everyone involved.

-”OH S*** HE STOLE THEIR CANNONS! BOOM GOES THE CANNONS!”

-Okay, I take back what I said, these heroes need some Miraculous asap.

- Ladybug is 100% justified in being angry with Chat Noir. It is his fault.

-AEON!!!! NO!!!!!!! Okay, guess i have to kill that techno pirate, and Chat noir

-MAJESTIA IS F***ING PISSED! WRECK HIM MAJESTIA!

- Seems they really hammering it in that Chat noir f***ed up. They right though, but at least Ladybug isnt angry enough to agree that Chat noir should give up his miraculous to some rando. FLEEING FROM THE LAW!

-So lucky charm can only fix damage due to specific villains. It cant fix things when the villain is gone or they are out of range. I always knew it had limitations, but damn. Chat noir REALLY screwed the pooch on this one.

-Adrien no! Oh s***! He cant just... I mean.... He can but...

-Gabriel stole the Eagle! The Kwami of Freedom. The irony is so delicious here.

- So night Owl and Sparrow are both chick with Masculine superhero appearances. Thats actually pretty damn smart, great way to keep people off their identity.

-Welp, i am depressed. Adrien doesnt have Plagg.

-EVEN THE PRESIDENT IS A SUPER HERO! AMAZING!

- So an akumatized person can USE A MIRACULOUS WHILE AKUMATIZED! WHAT THE F*** THATS AWESOME. Also why didnt catalyst do that?

-Gabriel actually getting adrien out of there while before s*** hits the fan. That is actually kind of a decent parenting move. Granted he is going to cause it, but appreciate it.

-Marinette the bike thief is back! And she is an international criminal!

- She tried so hard. Welp I am glad that Marinette is clearly over... actually no. This trip made that clear.

-Liberation, Wow. That is the most American power I have ever seen. I LOVE IT.

- Okay, so I never thought i would say this. maybe there is such a thing as too much freedom? Or at least Freedom that lets you impede on Other people’s freedoms.

- I know what Zag is up to, and it is working. I want a tv series Of Jess and Aeon. They are wonderful.

-So Majestia can casually move the moon. Yea, thats amazing and terrifying! I love her.

-Quantum masking! So there is a glamor effect! I knew it! So Aeon knows who ladybug and Chat noir are.

-DID I F***ING MENTION I WOULD MURDER FOR AEON!

-aeon will never see Tikki or plagg. Thats so sad.

-At least Adrien learned an important lesson.

-Cute LADYNOIR REUNION

-The was clever, using the keychain

- Eagle jess is epic.

-and Majestia can catch missles. Considering she can move the moon. Not surprising.

-OH DAMN, Night owl and Sparrow are LEGACY HEROES! Thats like the Phantom, Or like Jojo.

-That was sweet of Marinette and the class.

-Oh so the guardian of those miraculous came back to claim it.

-But now sounds like the set up for a new series.

Overall, I did greatly enjoy this movie. Though there were times i wanted to know more, and times I wanted to know less. I know this takes place sometime during season 4, but the exact time is vague. It did tell a really cool story. It felt like a three episode saga combined into one. It was kind of interesting. And damn the drama was higher.

I give it a 7.5/10.

I would rate it up there with my favorite ML episodes.

A Love Letter to LadyNoir

I said I was going to write an essay about how great LadyNoir is, and I wasn’t lying.

DISCLAIMER I: All sides of the love square are wonderful! I love them all a lot, and this is in no way hate for any side. It’s kind of hard to say “this side is my favorite” without comparing it to the other sides at least a little, but the other sides are still amazing and I love them to bits too!!

DISCLAIMER II: Yes, Chat Noir is an ass to Ladybug when it comes to being rejected. This is absolutely true and I’m not going to defend that. Ladybug has every right to not want to be with Chat Noir, and him repeatedly asking her out and then openly moping about it when she says no, despite KNOWING she’ll say no, is very Bad. I’m not here to defend that. However, Ladybug and Chat Noir are 14, and Chat Noir is not only navigating love for the first time, but relationships in general as well. I’m not excusing it, and this is Definitely and Objectively a flaw of his, but it’s something he can (and I expect WILL) overcome and grow out of as he matures and realizes the error in his ways.

And after he grows out of it? Once Chat Noir matures and learns to be more respectful to Ladybug’s feelings? You know what’s left? The best ship ever, that’s what. 

Here’s a list in no particular order about all the amazing things the LadyNoir side of the love square has to offer, and why it’s my favorite:

• Their aesthetic is literally picnics on top of the Eiffel Tower under the setting sun and racing each other across Paris’ rooftops.

• Do you like soulmate AUs? Because LadyNoir is basically a soulmate AU in and of itself. They are creation and destruction and the most obvious representation of the yin/yang part of the love square. They’re two halves of a whole. They balance each other out.

• Ladybug and Chat Noir actually argue with each other! This may sound like a bad thing, but... they’re the first side of the love square to get comfortable enough to tell each other when they’re upset with the other. I feel like that’s a pretty important thing. Adrichat is not yet secure enough with Marinette to argue with her, and Maribug is not yet secure enough with Adrien to argue with him. Ladybug and Chat Noir are so comfortable and secure in their dynamic with each other that they can be totally honest with each other when the other upsets them. basically, they can bicker like an old married couple and it’s beautiful

•They share a burden that literally nobody else in Paris has. The temporary heroes have gotten a taste of what it’s like, sure, but nobody but Ladybug and Chat Noir truly understand the lengths that they have to go through to keep their secrets, the frustration of having to slip away from friends/family to transform at a moment’s notice, etc... 

Picture: Ladybug’s responsibilities start weighing her down, so she goes to confide in Chat Noir, the only other person who can at all understand what she’s going through. He holds her and reminds her of how amazing she is, tells her how much he believes in her, reassures her that he’ll always be there by her side no matter what, offers to take some of the burden off of her shoulders, and then ends it all with a silly joke that makes her laugh.

• Ladybug and Chat Noir sharing stories about their kwamis, horror stories about the worst-possible-times they had to transform, laughing about their worst excuses, etc. They have so much to bond over that is so specific to them.

• This may sound silly at first, but hear me out..... LadyNoir is the most honest side of the love square. Yes, they have the most secrets between them (they literally don’t even know each other’s names), but they also have the least amount of secrets. Does that make sense? Let me explain:

Ladybug is fully and completely aware that Chat Noir has a name and life that she doesn’t know about, and vice versa. They are completely aware that the other has secrets, and have openly consented to not knowing them. Yes, they know the least about each other— but they’ve agreed to not know those things, which cannot be said for other sides of the love square.

• The amount of trust between them. They literally trust each other with their lives on a daily basis, not to mention the amount of trust they have that the other wont take a peak when they have to detransform near each other.

• How in sync they are with each other. Ladybug and Chat Noir just understand each other so innately, even with minimal verbal communication. They understand each other’s body language so well, and I don’t know how many times Ladybug gave the vaguest instruction to Chat Noir and he just knew what she meant.

• Ladybug and Chat Noir met first. This isn’t really important, but I wanted to point it out anyways. The first time the love square ever met was when they were Ladybug and Chat Noir, and Ladybug was the first friend Adrien made besides Chloé. I just think this is a cute fun fact so I wanted to throw it in here.

• The forbidden love aspect. They can’t know each other’s secret identities... they don’t even know each other’s names, and loving each other is putting them at risk for being taken advantage by Hawkmoth... but imagine them hiding away on a dark rooftop, stealing kisses and telling each other about how much they love each other despite it all. 

• There is so much ‘Adrien and Marinette never met AU’ potential with LadyNoir. Imagine it with pre-established LadyNoir... and imagine their reveal, and they don’t know each other, and they actually get to meet each other. Imagine the potential of a fic about a long-standing and committed relationship between two people who never learned each other’s names, finally meeting for the actual first time. Imagine them getting to know things about each other’s personal lives, introducing them to their friends and family, slowly learning about all the things that they’d had to hide from each other for so many years......... honestly, it’s a trope/au that I love SO MUCH and honestly isn’t touched on nearly enough. I could go on about it forever.

• Relationships dwindle and get strained... Adrien and Marinette might graduate high school, go to different universities, and lose touch. Or maybe they might become too busy to be able to make time for each other... LadyNoir, though? Ladybug and Chat Noir are stuck together at LEAST until Hawkmoth is defeated, whether they like it or not. 

• Enemies AU potential. I mean, Hawkmoth is literally Chat Noir’s father... imagine an AU where Adrien has been tricked by his father into thinking he’s on the good side, that what he’s doing will save his mother’s life and no one will actually get hurt, and then he meets Ladybug, sees her give her big speech to Paris, and falls in love. Chat Noir fighting with trying to justify his father’s actions vs knowing that Ladybug is objectively good. Ladybug seeing the good in Chat Noir, knowing that he’s not evil like Hawkmoth, and actively reaching out to him... so much potential, you guys.

• Ladybug and Chat Noir are the most confident versions of themselves... which means that, as their relationship progresses and they get to know each other, they’ll slowly learn each other’s insecurities, short-comings, greatest fears, etc. LadyNoir starts with masks, and then the two slowly open up and learn about the vulnerable side of each other, and I think that progression is amazing.

Like yeah, Marinette learning that Adrien has a joking/flirty/silly side to him is great and all... but you know what I think’s even cuter? Ladybug learning that Chat Noir has a timid/sad side to him. And Adrien learning that Marinette has a powerful/confident side to her? Great. Chat Noir learning that Ladybug has a clumsy/awkward/insecure side to her? Amazing.

• The FLIRTING AND BANTER. And I don’t just mean Chat Noir... Pre-Glaciator, Ladybug would sometimes flirt back with Chat Noir if the situation wasn’t too dire. 

I mean seriously... these two together have so much chemistry. They’re so funny to watch on screen together / read fanfics of, and the way they bounce off each other is just priceless.

Now imagine them dating. Imagine all their playful banter and flirting, but tenfold. 

• Ladybug pets Chat Noir like a cat.

That is all.

• Do you like angst? Because oh boy... the amount of close calls that they’ve had together... the amount of times they’ve watched the other get hurt. The emotional toll that takes on them. The way Ladybug frets over him and pulls him up when he’s injured, the way that we’ve seen them look at each other and fear that it could be the last, the way that Chat Noir has literally sacrificed his life for her multiple times....

There is an infinite amount of potential for "my love dying in my arms”, “I thought I was going to lose you”, and physical hurt/comfort scenarios with these guys, and all with a happy ending because of the Miraculous Ladybug Cure. Like, seriously.... there’s so much potential.

•They’re so emotionally supportive with each other. Seriously... the way they treat each other is so caring. Like, they care deeply about each other’s mental health, and the fact that these emotional scenes happen in the middle of such dire situations really helps to emphasize how much they’re willing to set aside in order to take care of each other.

In conclusion: The ML writing staff made the "Chat Noir can’t take rejection” subplot to nerf LadyNoir because otherwise it would be too powerful.

Ladynoir development in S3

SINCE S3 IS OVER now I can do a development post

We know they are partners and trust each other and consider that so call finale LADYNOIR WILL GROW EVEN CLOSER in S4 so lets look at their development.

The fact in earlier episode like Backwarder she was fine with Cat Noir kissing her hand when he had to leave.

When they got their miraculous’s switched up switching their roles they learn from each others powers Ladynoire realize why Cat Noir feels so relaxed in his suit and Mister Bug realize how hard Ladybug’s job is and at the end Ladynoire did support him and yes they were arguing like a married couple it proves how close they are 😂 and she was getting a little payback from his comment earlier 😂

In Weredad despite her showing up at the end she sees how exhausted he is from fighting with her father well technically he was trying to reason with him and it tired him out but she does care for him as she held him when he collapsed.

In Silencer that's where she started to call him My Kitty and his reaction was freaking adorable

In Miraculer she sees he got hurt by his own Cataclysm when Miraculer used it on him and she was worried for him that she stayed by his side and even helped him up.

In Oblivio its consider one of the best episodes not because its fanservice its because on how great they work together even after the reveal and yes the kiss between them felt natural.

In Desperada she was soo focus on Adrien and thinking they’ll be fine without Cat Noir unaware he was Adrien later on when Luka became Viperion when he got the snake miraculous she admits their team will be lost without Cat Noir this proves she can’t do this by herself or without him they are the Ying and Yang after all.

The Ending We Deserve Pt.2

So many things happened at once.

Marinette ran toward Hawkmoth.

Hawkmoth drew his weapon.

Chat took the opening Marinette provided him, and launched himself at Hawkmoth.

Hawkmoth easily sidestepped Marinette’s attack and slashed his sword, but not at Marinette. 

No, he completely ignored Marinette and anticipated the attack from behind, dealing Chat Noir a deep cut that went from his left shoulder to his stomach. 

“NO!” Marinette screamed, running back toward her fallen partner. She dropped to her knees, assessing the damage. The cut was deep, way too deep for him to survive unless he got immediate medical attention or the miraculous ladybugs cured him. And one of those options wouldn’t work because Tikki was too weak, and the other wouldn’t work because she was too weak to carry him, AND Hawkmoth would strike her down before she made it two steps. 

But none of that stopped her from pressing her hands to the wound, trying to slow the bleeding. 

Chat was sputtering and gasping for air. “No, no, no.” His eyes were fluttering, open and shut, like he was struggling to stay awake. “Chat, you have to stay with me! Please don’t leave.”

Chat weakly moved his hand and placed it over Marinette’s. “Take him out, Mari.” he whispered as he took in a deep shuddering breath, “Do whatever needs to be done.”

“No, Chat.” Tears were running down her face in rivers. “I’m not doing this without you.”

“You have to, Milady.” He looked into her eyes. “I believe in you.” He pressed a chaste kiss to the back of her hand. Chat placed his hand on her cheek and met her eyes. “Do whatever needs to be done,” he repeated, before taking another deep breath. “I’m sorry, Marinette.” Another breath. 

He took a long, sorrowful look at his ring, hoping that his lady caught on to what he was thinking. “Plagg, claws out.”

“NO!” Marinette screamed. She knew without the magic of the miraculous that his wounds would be fatal. Plagg was the only thing that was keeping him alive, and he gave him up. She squeezed his hand, drawing his attention back to her. “Why? Why would you do that?”

He gave her a small smile. “You’re Ladybug. Figure it out.” He closed his eyes and whispered one last time. “I believe in you.”

“Chat?” She shook his shoulders. 

No response. 

“Adrien!” She shook him again, “C’mon! You have to help me! I can’t do this without you I can’t. I can’t.” She sobbed on his still chest. 

She turned towards Hawkmoth, tears running down her face. “You monster!” She sneered, “How could you do this to your own son? He loved you! No matter what crap you put him through, he loved you! Even when you forbid him from going out with friends or when you would schedule photoshoots everyday, he would still try to be his best. And he did it for you! God knows he could’ve slacked off and quit, but he tried his best to make sure you were proud of him. And this-” she gestured at Adrien, “is how you repay him. He was nothing but an amazing son for you and you ki-” she choked on the word. “You killed him.”

She looked at Adrien’s limp body, at their intertwined hands. She thought of the time they wouldn’t have with each other. The days that are lost. She could imagine it now, the life she would have with him.

Adrien would ask her to be his girlfriend and those would be the happiest years of her life. They would both go to the same college in Paris, she would pursue her career in fashion and he would work to get a teaching degree, all while still fighting crime as Ladybug and Chat Noir. Right after graduation, he would drop on one knee and propose. While planning their wedding, Mari accepted an internship for the Elite Model Management Co. designing clothes, while Adrien applied to teach 3rd grade at the local elementary school. The happy couple would decide to get married in August. It would be the most perfect day, when she walked down the aisle, Adrien burst into tears. He was blubbering so much he could barely say his vows. The newlyweds decided they could go on a honeymoon because they knew their team could handle them being gone for a few days. They went to New York and saw the skyscrapers, Broadway shows, and baseball games. (Apparently, the Americans really loved baseball.) Soon after their honeymoon, they would adopt a hamster. They would live just a few blocks from her parents, so when they eventually had kids (3 adorable children: Emma, Louis, and Hugo.) her parents could come visit them whenever and vise versa. They would be a family. They would be happy. 

And now, that won’t happen. 

Hawkmoth had destroyed every possibility for that to happen.

Marinette looked back down at the boy who she loved, at her hand which was still grasping his, even though he no longer squeezed back. His ring had a glare shining off of it. She closed her eyes unable to look at it from the light and the memories that surrounded it. 

Wait. 

Her eyes flung open. 

His ring would still work. Plagg was still somewhere around here. A plan started formulating in her head. She looked back down at her kitty. I hope you knew what you were doing, she thought. 

She slid the ring off of Adrien’s hand and onto her own slim finger as she stood. “I am going to make you pay for what you did to him,” She growled. “I will tear down your empire, brick by brick. I will destroy everything you have ever stood for.” Hawkmoth backed up slowly, showing the slightest sign of fear in his eyes. 

“Plagg,” Marinette whispered, “Claws out!”

The transformation overtook her as she charged toward Hawkmoth. She stumbled at first, but the magic of the miraculous helped contain the pain in her leg. Lord knows she would need all the extra strength available to defeat this villian.

It was a strenuous fight. Whenever Ladynoir would land a punch, Hawkmoth would land two. For every strike she would dodge, he would pull a sneakier move. While she would land a good hit every once and awhile, she knew she would not win this fight hand-to-hand. Even with the suit dulling her injuries, Marinette’s energy was fading fast. 

Soon, she found herself backed up against the Eiffel Tower, in a similar position Chat was in not even thirty minutes ago. She was running out of ideas. She was running out of hope. But most importantly, she was running out of time. 

“Well, well, well,” Hawkmoth gave her the cliche slow-villain-clap. “How the tables have turned, huh? Today is the day that I will finally have my victory. I will finally have my life, my family back.”

“Your family?” Ladynoir scoffed, “YOU JUST KILLED ADRIEN! You will never have your family back! The wish only allows ONE wish. You can’t bring both back.”

Hawkmoth laughed. “Ladybug, er, Ladynoir, whatever ridiculous name you want to call yourself, it doesn’t matter.” The villain tapped his cane on the ground, in a chiding manner. “Do you really think I wouldn’t have a contingency plan in place? I knew it was likely that he wouldn’t make it out of this duel alive. Why do you think I haven’t taken your kwami from her hiding spot? Shut your mouth and don’t look so shocked. I spotted her while you were busy mourning over my son.” He clicked his tongue. “Not to worry though. He will be alright soon enough. Once you use the Miraculous Ladybug’s he will be healed. But I want you to be the one who gets the kwami. I just feel like then your surrender would be complete. Then, after you heal my son, you will of course hand your miraculous over to me.” He slammed a hand into the Eiffel Tower, just to the left of Marinette’s head. “I will finally get what I deserve. And after I get them back, I will reveal your identity and take  your miraculous to make sure you can never try to take away what I have rightfully earned. I will ruin your chances at ever making a career in fashion. I will leave horrible reviews at your family bakery. I will make it so you never have a chance with Adrien. I will make your life a living hell, just as mine has been since I lost my Emilie. You will feel my every pain and heartbreak. You will wish you never crossed me, Marinette Dupian-

Cheng.” 

Marinette smiled, channelling every bit of Chat Noir she could muster. “That was quite the speech. Did you write that beforehand? Practice in the mirror a bit?” When Hawkmoth didn’t respond, she just shrugged. “Well, at least you were right about one thing.” She looked at the man who killed her partner and first love, who manipulated hundreds of citizens, who never truly cared about Adrien, right in the eye. “You will get what you deserve.” 

Hawkmoth didn’t register what she meant until she already whispered the only word that could defeat him now. “Cataclysm!”

As much as she would have liked to, she didn’t go for the kill. Her hand shot straight for the butterfly brooch that was pinned to his chest. It was the only way for her to truly end the horrors he had wrought upon her city for years. When her fingertips brushed the miraculous, it immediately turned black and started to crumble. 

Hawkmoth recoiled in horror. “No, no, NO! What have you done!” He tried grabbing at the ashes of the broken miraculous to no avail. His transformation let go; Gabriel Agreste sat there, hugging his knees, cursing Ladybug and everything she stood for. 

“Plagg, claws in.” Marinette dropped to her knees, exhaustion hitting her like a train.

 Marinette called for the police. They came quickly and arrested Gabriel, or did they? It was a blur for Marinette. She couldn’t remember how much time had passed. All she could think about was the loss of her partner. She couldn’t just believe he was gone. She wouldn’t accept it. An idea hit her like a train. She already had the black cat miraculous, if she could just find Tikki and complete the merge— No. She shut down that thought before it went any further. That would make her just as bad as Hawkmoth, worse even. 

But, Hawkmoth did mention something about the ladybug miraculous healing Adrien. She didn’t know if it would truly work, but it was worth a shot.

She ran to where Adrien’s body was laying placed a quick kiss on his forehead and the ring back on his finger. “I hope this works.” 

And she took off to find her missing kwami.

Agent H’s ML Rewatch

Evillustrator (1x02) 

Overall Thoughts:

-Okay, was anyone gonna tell me that this was the second episode or was I supposed to just find that out for myself?

-Ooh, the opening scene’s so much fun! But like it has Lady Wifi in it, so...thanks ML production team for already imploding my “watch the show in production order” scheme LOL 

-Ah, here the animation settles into the first season trend where it’s simultaneously good and not good. But they absolutely make up for it by making their character emote a lot 

-What is on their science class’s blackboard?? They’re learning particles physics?? 

-Haha, I love when Marinette tackles Alya. Also, in the background of the next shot, Nino is talking to Rose, how cute! 

-At Chat Noir’s last pun in the library scene, there’s like a really tiny exasperated groan from Ladybug haha

-The minute Chloe makes a cat pun, you can just see Chat Noir consider for a hot sec retiring cat puns forever.  

-There’s a great “Chat Blanc” post discussing how Chat Noir’s bell is a symbol of possession, and in re I must point out that Chloe here angrily flicks his bell to get his attention

-”So you get to be my Ladybug tonight :)” The irony. *Marinette being totally sarcastic*: “Chat Noir and I fighting crime together? Amazing!” THE IRONY. I effin love this show 

-I love the moment when they’re trapped and Tikki peaks out but Marinette closes the bag and figure out a solution because ya’ll know I’m dying for the situation when they’re truly trapped and have to transform in front of each other :D 

-Ah, Adrien. Tries way too hard to impress Marinette and then immediately the next day finds her so he can see if she liked it (his big eyes and smile kill me). Also, totally bypassing the part where she says he (Adrien) is the most awesome of awesome to focus on the part where she says he (Chat Noir) is awesome. What a precious idiot

Villain (reason, design, power, difficulty, etc):

-Okay, like 80% of akumatizations come from Chloe so I’m just gonna make Chloe-being-a-bully a benchmark of 6/10, and then add in additional factors. Here, it’s Chloe+getting into trouble+having his crush exposed+it’s his birthday, so I vote 6.5/10

-Sleek, got a “French artist” inspiration, surprising color gradients, Evillustrator’s got a great costume  (So we all know this is Nathaniel’s design and Gabriel “Bubbler costume” Agreste couldn’t be responsible, right? XD) 7/10

-His power is AWESOME, man! He can basically create anything?? 8/10 

-I mean, he doesn’t seem that intimidating, but he leaves them trapped on a sinking boat and that’s terrifying

-Yeah, he’s a tough cookie to beat because he can create anything and his only weakness is lighting. 8/10

Powers/Miraculous (skill/usage, plan, design, etc.):

-Good idea to cataclysm the light, but Evillustrator is too fast for them!

-Her plan is to superball bounce and destroy the lights? Hahaha, typical convoluted plan, Ladybug. A+ and you shoulda gotten an A+ on your physics project just for this. 7/10

Character Moments:

-Ah, introducing more of their classmates and their school life, particularly Chloe (and Sabrina) as a bully and a spoiled brat! Also, totally forgot it was this episode, but we learn about Chloe being a huge fan of Ladybug (and Ladybug totally not having it) 

-Marinette being sweet and standing up for justice and not being afraid of Chloe. Way to go, Marinette!! She totally flakes on Sabrina, but to be fair, she’s got that double life thing going on. Then Ladybug getting attitude and leaving after Chloe fangirls around her, smh girl. I appreciate how efficiently they make Marinette multidimensional, allowing her to be right and wrong even within the same episode. Like how many shows do such a good job at creating complex (particularly female) characters 1.5 episodes in? 

-The first episode focused on Marinette and others, so its nice to see a focus on Adrien’s personality here. We see a snippet of him and Nino, indicating BFFs. We see him wanting to protect Chloe and do what’s right, but also (rightly so) getting annoyed with her. We see him showing off in front of Marinette as Chat Noir, flirting with her, and then eagerly seeking her approval at the end. Put in the context of the Origins episode, it makes a ton of sense that he’d want a second chance at a first impression with her 

-Ooh, we see people referring to Chloe and Marinette as similar twice this episode! This isn’t the last time we’ll see this parallel between them 

-Tikki being adorable and later reminding Marinette to get a better control of her emotions (in vain, Tikki, in vain.) 

Lovesquare Moments (who and how much I fangirled):

-There’s a lot of Ladynoir development here! We see them working well together, but they’re not perfectly in sync yet, ie, Chat Noir standing around making puns while Ladybug rides the hair dryer (which made me laugh; what a great visual). This is also the first time we see Ladybug and Chat Noir having a disagreement and making up. And one of the few times, in which they don’t work together on the plan (well, at least, that’s what Chat Noir believes) 10/10

-The Marichat here KILLS me, it’s so great and so hilarious. Char Noir going way overboard trying to act cool and impress her, being pleased that she knew he’s a hero, being absolutely impressed and flirting with her when she saves them. And then on the other hand, Marinette completely rolling her eyes and mocking him behind his back and complaining that she’s the one telling him how to save the day. (All indications on how, as Ladynoir, they’re still at the beginning of the relationship: he’s trying too hard and she’s not taking him seriously.) It really does crack me up that Marichat is the sin ship when their canon relationship is that of a 1950s comedic married couple 12/10

-The Adrienette locker scene is so unbelievably cute (and can you believe that this used to be THE locker scene and now we have the even cuter troublemaker locker scene?) Adrien does the shoulder touch, and Marinette can kinda speak to him. Also, Adrien just appearing out of nowhere and her scream is comedy gold. 12/10

Developments in Overarching story: 

-Hi, Hawkmoth can control/hurt his akuma victims, WHAT THE HECK??

-If the production order was the release order, it’d be confusing because the first episode, Hawmoth just says bring the Miraculous and shows the respective jewels; this episode doesn’t even show that part. We’d have no idea whether or not he needs those two specifically and why does he need them. 

-Hawkmoth says he wants all the Miraculous so he can rule the world. I....am just gonna leave that there

-First time Bugphone and Catphone 

-Chat Noir says he doesn’t have nine lives, but that more specifically refers to the fact that he’ll destransform/can’t do anything if his ring is taken 

Lesson for Kids:

-I swear the first season has lessons for kids, but I don’t really know if there is one here? I kinda think it’s about how you shouldn’t act bratty or selfish like Chloe (including when Ladybug loses her cool and leaves and how she’s compared to Chloe when she lies to people), but like ehhhh

Endcard: 

-Not a traditional end card, but a snapshot of his comic book! I think the comic cover he designed must be a reference to the inspiration and early versions of the show. And I love how the exclamation point is Nathaniel’s signature; appropriate for a quiet kid!

“You went missing for three months and now you just show up here?!”, Chat Noir hollered as he saw his partner walking around the corner, a thick coat wrapped around her upper body and a scarf hiding her chin to protect her from the cold.

She had surprisingly called him after her had spent three months worrying, panicking, searching for her. She had just vanished from the surface back then, without saying a word, and just today requested a meeting.

“I-…I’m sorry, Chat Noir…”, she brought out and something in her voice was thick but he didn’t care. He pulled her further into the warehouse where they had agreed to meet up to be alone, a snarl obvious on his lips.

“Oh yes, now you say you’re sorry. Of course. And you couldn’t have had at least let me know you’re alive?!”, he grabbed her shoulders, turning her towards him, his gaze sharply fixed on her eyes, “I searched the whole city for you when you didn’t show up anymore! I thought Hawkmoth had gotten you, I thought you were dead! And now you just-… You show up as if everything was fine?!”

“Nothing is fine!”, she retorted, tears shining in her eyes but he was too busy being upset to care for that.

“Well, for me neither! I was alone the whole time! I-… I thought I had lost you!”

She pressed her lips together, obviously waiting for him to finish before trying to explain herself. He gladly took the chance to throw everything in her face that he had worried about.

“I was alone, I was scared for you and while I know you’re an adult, you should’ve at least told me you were going! No, you wouldn’t even have to do that. Just telling me you’d be fine would’ve helped already! I ran myself ragged by searching for you, I spent night and day on the rooftops and I screamed my lungs out! You probably even heard me!”

The first tear rolled down her cheek but she still remained silent as he continued getting louder.

“And, where were you?! Did you need a break?! A break from being a hero or from me, huh?! What the hell went wrong so that you couldn’t even tell me you’re alive?! How should I have known?! The media is breaking down like hell above me and I couldn’t even answer!”

He let go of her and pushed her back a little, now spinning around before coming to a halt a step away from her, facing her again.

“And that’s just the public and my worries for you! What about-”, he gestured in the air between them, “… Us?! Hell, my lady, we slept with each other! We-… I dare even say we were a couple! We kissed and I loved you and I’m not even sure you loved me but feeling you was enough. Having you by my side, through fights, patrol or in the bed, it was enough for me. Problem is that it meant something for me! Didn’t any of this mean anything to you?!”

“It-… It did, I just-”, she began but he interrupted her, shaking his head.

“Oh, nonono. I’m speaking now. You abandoned me, you left me in the cold, you let me doubt myself. You made me ask myself what I did wrong! You didn’t even care one bit about me, huh? Over all the years of being my partner you didn’t even stop once to appreciate me. Either I was a help or a burden but I never even was your friend, am I right? Am I right?! And I didn’t even stop to think once, once why you let me so close to you. I thought it was love but I made a grave mistake.”

She was trembling by now, her hands laying flat on her jacket. He briefly wondered why she wore one and why it was so thick, after all it was still above minus degrees and she had never needed one the past winters. That made him wonder even more, for example why she walked here, but he still had to say a few things before he could properly listen.

“Listen, my lady, I’ll forgive you either way because I’m still a lovesick idiot. And you know that.”, he sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose. His sharp claws softly brushed over his eyelids, “I-… I don’t even know if I care why you vanished. At the moment I honestly just wanna take revenge on you, make you feel what I felt. But well, you won’t care anyway.”

He waited for a moment in which her forced sniffles echoed through the empty warehouse, then he straightened up again, crossing his arms in front of his chest. He towered over her with good half a head so he looked down on her. After shouting all of this out he felt slightly better, even a bit curious why she had decided to crawl out of her hole so suddenly after three months of nothing. Damn chesire curiosity, honestly.

“Okay, I’m calmer. But while I don’t really care anymore why you vanished, I at least wanna know why you’re showing up again, wanting to meet me.”

She brushed over her cheeks to dry her tears but even more followed to follow in the same tracks. After a short sob she sighed and looked at him, her gaze desperate and even a bit sheepish, her voice shaky when she spoke up.

“I-… I needed you to know…”, she began and only continued at a stiff nod from him, “… I don’t expect anything from you. I don’t expect you to be there for me or them and I-… I know you probably won’t want that anyway, but I want it.”

“You’re being cryptic, my lady.”, he grinned but it looked more like he was baring his teeth. She closed her eyes briefly, then she brought both hands to her jacket again, seemingly holding on to something even though her hands were flat.

“I’m going to keep it.”, she resumed without giving his comment any attention, “I have my parents and a few close friends to help me. My best friend already said she’d marry me if she could but she has her own fiancé. I just-… I wanted you to know that I’ll go again. It was hard enough to convince Tikki to transform me one more time but-… I’ll be gone. Probably for a whole year, maybe even longer.”

He growled as he tightened his crossed arms, narrowing his eyes on her.

“What?! You’re gonna leave me in the dust again?!”, he stepped towards her and now really bared his teeth, his sharp fangs shining. But she never stepped back.

“Yes, Chat, I need to.”, she tried to stand her ground but Chat still heard her voice shaking, “I need to be there for the child.”

His eyes widened and he instantly looked down, seeing her opening her jacket. Her stomach wasn’t really big yet but it was already a very visible bulge. He could tell she wasn’t that far along, maybe at the beginning of the second trimester somewhere. His arms fell to his sides and he took a step back, mouth agape to see his lady like this. She cupped her stomach, a loving expression on her face.

“I-… I want to keep it. It was quite a surprise but I’m financially stable, I have the support of my family and friends and I’ve always wanted a child. I-… I’ll have to go again, Chat, but I needed you to know.”

He couldn’t answer yet, his shocked gaze wandering over the stretched fabric of her magical suit on the rounded bulge again and again. So that’s why she had vanished. Still, without a word, but that was a valid reason.

“You-… You’re pregnant…”, he finally choked out, his mind both working at the speed of light as well as not working at all anymore, “Wh-When-…?”

She brushed over her stomach once again, looking up to watch him.

“… I found out about three months ago.”, she finally said, the words punching him in the guts once more. He was helpless as she closed her jacket again, staying unmoving two steps away from her. She adjusted her scarf and sighed, then turned to go.

“Oh and-… Another thing.”, she threw over her shoulder, her voice small and weak suddenly, “About the baby… It’s yours.”

He was ready to drop dead when she left the warehouse, out into the cold weather again, probably to walk home.
