Alien Infection AU (ALI)

James Gets infected with this alien disease by coming in contact with an alien when he's abducted for them to study. The disease actually starts turning you into that species of alien, slowly taking you over until you're not even human anymore, just a mix of alien and whatever you used to be Alex is a government scientist who works in area 57 (Area 51 is just a front) and him and James are best friends, which was one of the reasons James was targeted. After James gets infected, his girlfriend (Dolly Payne) Breaks up with him, calls him a freak, and takes all of everything she owns away, leaving poor James broke, Jobless, and in a crappy apartment with only his cat Payne to keep him company. Aaron, the alien that accidentally touched Jemmy, gets exiled from their society since he exposed them to the humans and messed up whatever tests they had planned. Aaron has black eyes with gold pupils, skin that's tinged blue, and the same blue glowing markings that James has, and he dresses a bit skimpy. Now obviously He didn't mean to touch and infect James! He was just so fascinated by how pretty James is. So when he's exiled he's obviously sent to earth, and the government finds his escape pod in the forest. Aaron hides himself as they look for him inside, but spots the boy he touched. James eyes have gone from the soft brown he was fascinated with to a shimmering gold, whites and all. He seems to be crying non stop, even though he's not sad, and he has glowing blue markings just like Aaron's spiraling up his cheeks, arms, stomach, everywhere. Aaron decides he needs to apologize and explain himself, so he follows him and the scrappy boy he's with back home. When he sneaks into their room and gently shakes James awake, and gets some surprising results. He didn't expect James to scream bloody murder and wake up Alex! Turns out James was staying at Alex's house that night. So now he's sat here on the floor with a gun pointed in his face, what else is he to do but defend himself? He sits there and explains everything that's happened so far, his exile and how he didn't mean to hurt James, etc etc, and James feels bad for him. He can tell how genuine the small chubby alien is being, so he offers to let him stay with them and to teach Aaron about society. Aaron excepts gleefully, hugging James and giving Alex a big smile (so he won't infect him) But after a day or two, Aaron remembers something and realizes that's why he's felt off. He forgot Thomas! Thomas is a cyborg he created on his last mission to earth. His boss had ordered experiments on the human and they had gone horribly wrong, ending up in Thomas loosing his right eye, left art, right leg, and a good chunk of his stomach. When the other scientists had wanted to just let him die, Aaron had refused, stealing Thomas away from the lab and working day and night to save him. He had always been against human experiments, but seeing what Thomas had to go through only cemented that belief. He worked for weeks to help Thomas, keeping him on special life support, re designing his biology, creating new limbs and organs and whatever else he needed to survive. After almost a month, he had finished. Thomas had been completely re-routed, a new electronically supported heart in his chest, his organs changed so he wouldn't need to eat, he was given a new completely functional arm and leg, and the chunk of his face he had lost was repaired and he was given a new eye (Even if he had to shave half his head, which wouldn't grow back) . When he finally recovered, Thomas thanked Aaron, thanked him for everything. He had been conscious throughout all this time, Aaron had been there to keep him company, to make sure he wasn't in pain, anything he needed. Aaron helped Thomas integrate back into society, giving him the tech needed for him to hide his cyborg nature. Before the abduction Thomas was a high up government scientist, and thanks to his connections he was able to regain that job when he was fully healed. That had been a year ago, and Aaron had promised to check in with him, so he has too. He tells James and Alex the truth, seeing no need to lie, and Alex nearly dies because what's the chance that his mortal enemy/ hardcore crush of both him and James, is actually a cyborg who knows Aaron?? Thomas is another scientist, and works wide by side with Alex, so thank god for that. So Alex invites Thomas over to his house, and Aaron is overjoyed to see him, right? So they talk and talk and talk, and somehow, Thomas gets drunk enough to admit he's head over heels in love with James, and has a major crush on Alex. Aaron vows to help get them together, not even realizing that he has feelings for all three. John is an alien from another planet, and Aaron's old best friend and boyfriend. He was exiled when he caused a prison break and saved a bunch of captured humans. Everyone thought he was dead because that's what everyone was told, but he was actually just living on earth helping the government learn more about aliens. After his planet exiled him, he met Alexander, and they've been friends for a while. Although Alex doesn't actually know john is an alien until he introduces Aaron and John to each other, but when he learns he's salty as hell. John was also the one who was able to help Alex come up with the 'cure' (it was only a serum to get rid of any of the dangerous affects of the infection) For James. James doesn't ever stop crying, and his blue veins are very sensitive to the touch. His eyes are always dripping gold tears, no matter what emotion he's feeling, but they do glow different colors when he's feeling happy, sad, etc. Blue is sad, Pink is pleasure or sexual, red is rage, no color is happy, green is envy and mixes of emotions are generally mixes of colors. Eventually James, Alex and Thomas all end up together, but Alex drifts away from them and towards Aaron and John, so in the end it's LamsBurr and Jeffmads
