As an omega carer that works at a rescue and rehabilitation centre for feral alphas and omegas, Louis has experienced all sides of ferality. So Harry- a cold, near mute, non-receptive alpha- was a challenging case for everyone at Phoenix Rehab Centre. Louis wasn’t expecting to feel drawn towards an aloof Harry, or to form a slow bond with him. He certainly was not expecting for his entire life to change in unforeseen ways.

this fic was incredible! A little sad at times and certainly a long one... But so worth it! Genuinely an incredible work.

It’s not until he gets a whiff of the contents of his glass that Louis realizes his grave mistake. That’s not red wine. It’s blood. It’s probably not the most rational, but his first thought is what people are going to think when they discover his body. On the list of stupidest ways for a human to die, accidentally turning up to a Vampire party has to be pretty high up there.

this one is part of a currently 3 part series and really well written! Funny and hot, definitely a great vampire fic.

Hi hello why has nobody asked about the star crossed one

HI LOVE!! i honestly didn't expect to be asked about star-crossed bc i talk about it with my friends all the time so i feel like i talk about it way too much 😂 but essentially, star-crossed is a fic that i started posting a while ago but realised it was taking so long for me to update each chapter, that i decided to take it down, finish it, and then start posting again with a regular schedule. it's a fantasy story where Louis and Harry belong to opposite witch covens (one that worships the Moon and one that worships the Sun) who have been enemies for centuries, but when they discover something strange behind the reason for their animosity, they decide to join forces and solve the mystery.

I've written around 140k words of it and I'm one chapter short of the first half (!!!!) so to celebrate that, I'll add a snippet from the last chapter i wrote, spring i 👀:

In the clearing where nothing grows, a new life pokes its head through the dirt. For the second time in forever, the trees witness two hearts beating at the rhythm of the same song.

Walker Season 4 plots I want to see

Liam telling Cordi about what had happened with Stella and Sadie and Cordi freaking out over the fact that his little girl was nearly shot and the person responsible for has now disappeared and Cordi has no idea if he can he keep his kids safe because what if Stella had been shot instead of Witt and what if the next time Witt came back and he wasn't home would Stella and Auggie be safe and now he also has to tell Bonham and Abby and Cassie and Trey as well (I wonder how that conversation will go) and on top of all that the The Jackal is back so Cordi now has to deal with the fact that the serial killer who essentially tore apart James and Kelly's relationship and who they couldn't catch has returned and wonder if his family was going to be caught in the crossfire of the serial killer as well

As far as Geri is concerned I would love to see Geri be Cordi's rock as he is dealing with everything that's going on both professionally and personally as well

As for Cordi I want him to to be able to protect his kids and the rest of the family and be a rock for James with the Jackal's return and get to go on an actual date with Geri since we never got the chance to see them go on an actual date (2x14 doesn't count since they broke up in that episode)

Do you mind if I make a wild accusation based on the hiatus timeline?

I think all three Liam, Niall and Louis did actually believe it was a hiatus in the beginning. I guess the other two guys realised quite quickly that the roll-out for Harry's career was not just for a side project, they needed to find their own record deals. Given the relationship Louis had with Harry, he thought Harry would never betray him and the band would get back together at some point. Additionally, he did not want to be a solo artist. He was biding his time doing side projects. He didn't feel this was a permanent thing so he didn't really shop around for a proper record deal. He also carried the insecurities from the 1D days and not getting many singing parts to actually market himself as a solo artist. He just took the Syco deal who wanted him primarily to be on xfactor. They kept treating Louis the way they did in the 1D days. They showed no faith in his album or musical talent. They completely slashed his promo and got him blacklisted when they realised the big overlap between his and Harry's fanbase (i.e. the Larries). This was important because Harry's pop music career was their long term money maker and Louis' was just a distraction.

For Louis this was the cut off point when he decided to severe his final ties with Harry as well as Syco.

All conjecture of course.

I generally agree - however I don't think Louis even had the opportunity to "shop around for a label". I don't remember how it's call (right of release?) anyways there's this contractual thing that allows the label to keep an artist if they outbid the other label. I read about it a long time ago and it's far in my head now. But basically if Louis had gone to UMG, Sony could have kept him. Which makes shopping around when you're signed to one a the big major difficult. Zayn signed with RCA (Sony). Harry created his own label (under Sony). Liam and Niall signed outside of Sony. I'm pretty sure Louis never had the chance to considering another major. He probably didn't want to create his own label given solo stuff wasn't on his mind. Syco seemed like a continuation of a relationship.

He ended up leaving Syco because it went bankrupt. It's clear he owed Syco/Sony at least an album and a tour, since he couldn't release FITF before or during LTWT. It's possible his participation to the XFactor was used as a contractual deliverable (as at the time it seemed to replace the release of LT0)(theory). I can't imagine how complicated the legalities of "cutting ties" with Syco/Sony were. Artist usually sign deals for several albums (1D was 5 albums, Harry is 4). It's possible Louis had signed for only 1, since he wasn't sure about his solo career. It's possible that, for reasons that we'll probably never know, Sony agreed to end its contract prior do the deliveries of all the albums. If I remember correctly (but vaguely), some of Syco's artists were moved to another label under Sony.

In any case, it's so obvious that Louis' solo career was crushed following the success of JHO and BTY, it's clear that HS1 wasn't the success that Sony had wanted, and it's clear that those trajectories were inverted for them around 2017-2018 - so mysteriously!! - when LT0 was shelved/Louis had to do XFUK and Harry went back to the studio to write a pop album with Rob Stringer breathing down his neck so he would get his return on investment. And when Louis finally release his solo album, it was so long after the hiatus that he lost all the momentum and his fanbase was decimated - just look at the abyssmal different in streaming numbers between JHO/BTY/Miss You even and Walls' most popular songs.

Hi i have a question, what do you think Louis meant by "it was never his choice to split up" cuz i dont really believe that the other boys planned the split up behind louis' back and dropped the bomb on him with the rest of the world and he was left with "no choice" ? I'm not bashing Louis, i love him so much, but he does make it sound like the boys forced him with the split up, no one is blaming him at all that he didnt have solo career in mind right away since he had lost his mum and sister and that's totally understandable and i'm proud of him always. I dont know why but that part icked me. Thank you xx

Hi nonnie, I’ve not watched the movie yet so I can’t say what Louis means by it. But as a gut feeling I’d say this isn’t about him being blindsided by the other boys.

It’s more about his personal perspective on the hiatus. On how he didn’t want to go into it, how he had just found his place in the band, how he hoped the band would come back together after the initial planned 18 months.

But at the time they were absolutely burned out. Mentally and physically drained. I truly think it was very necessary. And to some extent, accepting the boundaries of it all, it did leave Louis with no choice.

yeahhh hi :) unfortunately i do think i have to step away from this fandom for a bit with.. current happenings. it's affecting me emotionally, and on a level that I think is just unhealthy at the moment.

so, hopefully I can have a happier, healthier relationship and mindset regarding all of this chaos and confusion if i increase my distance/take some time away.

this makes me incredibly sad as i planned to go to many of louis' tour shows this summer, and that's kind of up in the air at the moment. i love the album, and i'm sure these shows are gonna be so great. so i'm incredibly distraught that things are affecting me the way they are. i'm not sure how long i'll be away, could be awhile, could be not that long, maybe not at all idk.

but thank you to those of you that continue to follow me basically no matter what 🤣 with all of my personal posts, and crises, and talking to myself in the tags. i really do appreciate it.
