As the year winds down, so does our tale… but only for a short while. We're taking a brief hiatus to recharge our creative energies and to bask in the festive spirit of the season. But don't worry, this isn't goodbye, it's just a see-you-later.

Just finished reading berserk's last chapters, AHHHHHH I want to cry my heart out, i feel so sorry for guts, for trying so hard to protect casca, only to be snatched away from him by griffith!! UGHHHH been so emotionally attached to guts, for all the struggles and sacrifices he has done, it was like all for nothing... The moment he cried, can't hold myself from crying...

There is a special place in hell for people who write a fic up to the emotional climax, the cliffhanger moment, the tipping point… then never fucking update, flag the fic as “Complete,” and don’t even have the decency to add a “Sorry guys, I’m taking a hiatus!” note anywhere.

This is not about open/ambiguous endings. This is about the last author’s note being like, “I can’t wait to show you what happens next!” or “See you guys next update!” But the fic is flagged as complete.
