Shoutout to those who can't get rid of chametz this year.
Those who can't clean as thoroughly as they'd like, either from sharing a living space with others or just not having the energy or ability to do so.
Those whose safe foods aren't kosher for passover.
This has been such a stressful year, and I know for me cleaning is exhausting when I'm at my best (and this year I Am Not)
So if you're stressed and anxious about cleaning, struggling with the idea of losing access to safe foods for a week, experiencing the anxiety inertia of "oh no why haven't I done anything yet and why can't I bring myself to", or just don't have the energy needed to clean, know that you're not alone 💛

Shitpost incoming:
Nightmare Stacks is funny bc it baits you repeatedly
first it presents you with this bitter nerd (also vampire) who runs into a Manic Pixie Dream Girl, see, and you think you’re along for the standard ride
but then turns out that little miss cheerful green-haired goth theatre kid had her own stuff going on, wouldn’t have found the lead particularly interesting, and didn’t seem to have much desire to be anyone’s Ramona Flowers tbqh…
…except she was actually kidnapped and replaced by this spooky fae doppelgänger before we met her, and she’s dead, and the doppelgänger absorbed her soul and took her appearance and assimilated her personality and sorta thinks she is the girl,
and she’s got some deeply malicious reasons to be hanging out with our bitter lead, who increasingly proves to be a genuinely decent human being except he has a horrifying reason to be bitter which is thoroughly damaging his mental health in bleakly sympathetic ways, and he really doesn’t deserve to be catfished by a brutal invading empire just because he feels lonely and alienated-
-but it’s cool because it turns out that the soul-stealing fae doppelgänger working for the malevolent empire is also a Manic Pixie Dream Girl
and she’s into angsty vampiric nerd boys so we’re good

News outlets who report on criminals has "having autism" might as well report whether they have celiac as well, or green eyes.
These arbitrary facts have nothing to do with their actions. When 1-3% of the world has a trait, whether it be celiac, autism, or green eyes, it a simply a common trait, shared by millions of people. This is ableism and it should be called out, especially in the face of the attacks being misogynistic attacks.
This has nothing to do with autism and it's ableist as fuck to suggest otherwise. People — the news — are desperate to find something in these people that marks criminals out as different from "us".
Autism is an unrelated factor. Just like uncommon eye colors. Just like whether or not someone can eat fucking gluten.
Next time you read that a person who has committed a crime has autism, stop and ask yourself if it fucking matters. Next time someone does something terrible, I wanna know if they can eat bread. Like??
Because here's the thing: for the past several years, autism has been used as a crutch or a shield to assure abled people that they are somehow removed from someone who would commit an act like this.
Painting criminals as monsters because of their mental health problems (or painting them as monsters at all tbh) only serves as an excuse to turn our face away from the problems that exist in our society. Autism is not the culprit, but the way the world functions right now definitely drives some of these people to do what they've done. So how do we address that?
We need to put the blame where it really belongs. This has nothing to do with the DSM-V.
