Referring to Asriels actions as simple mistakes and saying he's going to be a better person doesn't matter. Because he did kill people. His resurrection was a mistake. But that doesn't matter. He didn't lash out because he couldn't feel anything. He killed people because he didn't care anymore. He even said it himself. He tried sparring everyone he tried getting people to the surface and he tried killing everyone but every time he was simply just unsatisfied with the results. If everyone's happy and he's not then what's the point in his eyes. Asriel killed hundreds of people in countless timelines because he was bored. In my eyes he's a self absorbed lunatic when he's flowey and a lost child trying to justify his mistakes when he's Asriel. Omega flowey is a testimony to the actual person flowey became. He absorbed 6 human souls and killed his own father for what. Just to kill the player again and again and again and again. Just to make them suffer. Asriel atleast had an actual reason if the player managed to win he'd break the barrier and let everyone free. But omega flowey just didn't have a plan. His plan was literally if the player wins he'll allow a reset. Flowey is irredeemable. There I said it
I don't see why that'd make Flowey irreedemable. The fact the power to reset was one of the main reasons he became like that in the first place combined with him not being able to care just makes it even more possible for him to heal after the pacifist ending.
I don't think Asriel's actions are easily justifiable and "simple mistakes", it's literally what drastically changed him while he was soulless and something big to represent how thinking there are no consequenses to what you do can make you do inimaginable things. You have the option to forgive him or not after all, it's up to you. Flowey has a lot of parallels to the player on the genocide run and is there to represent how your actions do have consequenses, while the power to reset makes you believe they don't.
Flowey, after trying literally everything possible to keep himself entertained, turned to murder as a last alternative and it turned out to be much more amusing than being kind, which ended up becoming somewhat "addicting" to him. But then it came a point where even that became tiring and boring, too predictable. Flowey just wants to fill his life with new things, and the power to reset made him leech off everything possible as he was desperate because of the fact he was soulless and had nothing else to do, cause, what'd be the point of living in a world without love? for him, he probably thought he didn't have a reason to continue his life normally as it wouldn't benefit him at all.
After the pacifist ending, where he understands the gravity of the things he did and finally comes in terms with stuff about Chara he tries to sepparate himself from Flowey as he doesn't want Frisk to think of him as the same person who hurt them, he wants to believe it wasn't him. He thinks the moment he goes back to being soulless he will be a murderer again and doesn't want people to see him. But you can't really take everything he says very seriously, as it isn't entirely true.
When you open the game again, he specifically begs you not to Reset and let Frisk and everyone else live their lives and be happy. He doesn't aprove the power he abused before anymore and wants things to move forward, it's completely the opposite from all the reasons he became murderous in the first place. I really doubt that on the surface, not having the power to reset anymore and having plenty of other things to explore and see, he would try to kill anyone and go back to being the same monster he was back when he was trying to kill you. It is a VERY different situation from when he first woke up as a flower.
He also shows that he can care, even if a little bit, as he matches scarves with papyrus and put Toriel to bed when she was passed out drunk in the garage, which is very contradictory with him supposedly not being able to care for others as he did that twice. It's even more surprising when you think about the first time he did that back in the ruins was most likely on the same time-line Frisk fell, as Toriel is capable of remembering the event.

For the fic list: 1 with Character and Asriel? Or Frisk and Undyne your choice -Moon (moonknightproductions)
The Refiner's Fire
Rating: T Word Count: 569 Prompt: "Full disclosure, I am a monster" Frisk & Undyne. I went with a neutral route for this one so the usual warnings for that, though there's no character death present in the work itself. Read on AO3: here
XXX
Heat threatens to leech the last drops of fluid from Frisk’s body. Any time sweat beads on their arms, their forehead, their neck, it evaporates the next moment.
Red leaves falling right off. Dust pooling at their feet.
They feel sick, and try to tell themself it’s just from the heat.
Undyne is going to catch them, at this rate. They can’t run in this. They can’t run at all—their leg twisted during their first fall, and while their walking stick could have made a makeshift splint, they’d needed it to fight. Desperate fistfuls of Monster Candy healed most of the pain, but couldn’t completely relieve the stiffness.
They shuffle towards a bridge. They don’t spare a glance for Sans, snoozing uselessly as always. He’s not a threat, but he’s not an ally.
Frisk is on their own.
They duck under a flying spear, and the breeze it creates almost soothes them for a moment. Then the heat slams back into them. The putrid smell of sushi follows it, threatening to knock them unconscious before the scorching heat can. The air shimmers with it, blurring their vision into a boiling soup.
It’s a good thing they can’t run. If they were any less careful, they’d probably tumble off the bridge’s edge.
Heavy footsteps pound behind them. Armor clangs like death bells, heralding the heroine who never gives up.
Frisk never gives up, either. Their determination won’t melt, even if their body does. They’ll find a way out, one way or another—but they’d rather not find out what magma feels like in the process.
A ledge materializes from the haze. On it is… a water cooler? Like the kind they always sipped from at the dentist’s office. It’s so normal.
It’s a trap. A distraction.
Clang.
Clang.
Clang…
Slower and slower. No spears breeze past their head.
“Armor… so… hot…”
Frisk freezes, just for a moment.
“But I can’t… give up…”
What is she doing? Trying to make them pity her?
It won’t work. Frisk is a good person, but they’re not about to give up their SOUL. That’s not the kind of death you can Determinate your way out of.
CLANG.
Frisk holds their stick out behind them, hoping it can soften the attack powerful enough to shake the ground.
Nothing hits. The ledge is silent, save for the hiss of lava below.
Still gripping their stick tight, they risk a glance behind them—
And see Undyne flat on her stomach. Her plume of hair trails down her skull, drips to the ground like a swath of blood.
Monsters don’t have blood. Frisk does. They’ve seen their own blood too many times today.
They clench their jaw. The hero really falls to ordinary heat? Well, the inside of a volcano isn’t exactly ordinary, but—she wasn’t supposed to give up.
She doesn’t give up.
They resist the urge to poke her with their stick. She’s just waiting for them to let down their guard, to get close. She thinks they’re stupid, just because they’re a kid.
They’ll show her. They’re strong enough to survive.
They ignore her ragged breaths. Ignore the siren call of the water cooler. Continue down the ledge, closer and closer to freedom.
“You… coward…” Undyne’s dry voice hisses on their heels.
Coward or not, they’re alive. That’s what matters.
If they’ve become a monster in order to survive monsters, then so be it.

Chapter Eight: Vessel
This takes place around an hour after the previous chapter.
Sans wakes up from his nap, finding that he’s been lying on Chara’s shoulder the whole time. “Oh! Chara- um I’m sorry.” He says hastily, blushing from the realization.
Chara places their hand on his shoulder, giving him a cordial smile. “It’s okay, Sans. Did you sleep well?”
Sans looks back, returning the smile. “Yeah. I really needed that nap. Sorry for falling asleep on your shoulder.”
“It’s okay! I’m glad you slept well!” Chara responds, giving Sans a hug.
Sans returns the hug, and starts running his hands through their hair. Eventually they separate, looking around, Sans sees Asriel and Jackie sitting on the couches opposite and adjacent to the one he’s sitting on with Chara. He notices them glancing at him and Chara.
Jackie chuckles to himself before speaking. “So, are you two a thing, or~?
Asriel sends him a glare.
“W-w what? No! We’re just friends!” Sans nearly yells in response, angrily.
“We’re just best friends, right now!” Chara happily says at the same time.
Before anyone can say anything else, they’re interrupted.
“So, here you are…”
Jackie turns around to face the voice. “What do you want, Layla?”
Layla, Jackie's older sister (around 16 years old), walks in. Long white hair, and red eyes sticking out. “You know exactly what I want, brother.” Layla says, cockily. Looking over to Chara. “The royal Pet's blood, of course.”
Asriel stands up, facing her. “In what world do you think I will allow that, leech!?”
Jackie stands up as well, showing his claws. “What he said!” He bites back.
“Oh, I think you missed the point. I don’t care, I’m getting it one way or another.” Layla says.
An ear shattering bang goes out.
Asriel -200 hp (4800/5000 remaining)
Asriel grunts in extreme pain, after the bullet hits him in the head and breaks on impact. “Sans, get Chara the FUCK out of here, NOW!” Asriel demands, as he summons two massive fireballs launching them at Layla.
Without a word, Sans grabs Chara's arm and teleports away.
Sans teleports himself and Chara to his house, right at the doorstep. He looks over to Chara. “Are you okay!?” He asks.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just a bit shook. What about you?” Chara responds turning to face him.
“I’m okay as well.”
“Good.” Chara responds.
They both stay there in silence for a moment.
“What about the others? What if Layla gets the best of them?” Sans worriedly asks, looking down and taking Chara's hand.
Chara holds Sans' hand, lifting them up to between their faces. “They’ll be fine, I’ve seen Asriel fight, he’s no lightweight. Jackie, not only is a vampire, but is also one of Asriel's favorite sparing partners, he’s not as strong as his highness, but he’s still capable.” Chara says confidently.
“Yeah, you’re right. I probably shouldn’t worry.” Sans says, looking into Chara's eyes.
Chara looks to the side, thinking. Eventually, they speak. “I’m honestly worried about what will happen to Layla. Asriel won’t kill her unless she forces him to. But if word goes out that she attacked him, Asgore will have her executed on the spot.”
“Yeah.” He says nonchalantly (he doesn’t care). He turns, opening the door, letting Chara in.
“So this is what the inside of your house looks like?!” Chara asks, looking around at everything.
“Yup. This is where we live, home sweet home.” Sans says. He then gives Chara a brief tour before leading them to his room.
“So this is your room?”
“That it is, come on in. I apologize for the mess.” Sans opens the door.
Chara looks around, seeing the general messiness and half falling apart bed. “It’s not too messy. What happened to your bed?” They ask.
“Oh.” Sans chuckles nervously. “Yeah, my dad got really mad one day, and… I don’t wanna talk about it.”
Chara covers their mouth. “That’s horrible! I feel bad!”
“It’s okay.” Sans somberly responds.
They both sit down on the bed, talking for a bit, eventually the conversation shifts.
Sans looks over at Chara. “Chara…”
“Yes?” Chara perks up, making eye contact with Sans.
“I’ve been wondering this for a long time. What’s it like being a human in the underground?” He asks.
Chara exhales slowly. Pausing, before finally speaking. “It’s… it’s stressful. Every day, I wake up knowing that it very well could be my last. Not just because of the other monsters down here, but because of my father. One of these days, Asgore is going to kill me for my soul. Mom and Asriel can only protect me from him for so long before he finally kills me.” Chara looks down at their hands, holding the rose that Sans had given to them. “I’ve accepted that fact, it’s part of the reason why I always try to be positive; my life is very limited; so, why not make the best of it? ” Chara says, tears slowly appearing in their eyes.
Sans looks at them, tears building in his own eyes. “Chara… I- I’m so sorry.” He gives them a hug, resting his chin on their shoulder, meanwhile they rest their chin on his.
Chara begins to cry. “I try to not think about it, but- it’s always there. My fate was sealed the moment I fell. You all mean so much to me, I-“
Sans says nothing, just holding on to them tighter.
“I'm so scared, Sans…”
“I know…” Sans says, beginning to cry himself.
“I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die, I- I-“ Chara starts sobbing.
Sans holds Chara tightly, letting them cry; while also silently crying himself. They stay like this for a while, until Chara’s crying slows to a crawl.
“When he gets my soul, he’ll cross the barrier, get six others, break the barrier, and commit genocide on humanity; enslaving all those who remain. When I die, humanity dies… Which is why me and Asriel made an agreement; or rather he promised me something.” Chara says somberly, wiping tears from their eyes and snot from their nose.
“What agreement?” Sans asks, gently holding Chara's face with his hands.
“He promised, that when I die, he’d take my soul, cross the barrier, and…” Chara begins to tear up once again, unable to finish their sentence.
“And what?”
“Kill himself.”
Author's notes:
For this chapter, I really wanted to get into the mind of Chara, because it’s mostly focused on Sans' mind up to this point. Underfell is a horrifying world for Chara to be living in, and I wanted to explore that here.
And wow this got dark.
Also, Asriel only took 200 damage from being shot in the head because Boss Monsters have ludicrous defense my AU, and Layla shot him with a subsonic, 9mm hollow point.

Undertale Au WIP?
I have no fixed name for this AU yet, but it's been an idea in the back of my mind for years. Since 2016/2017 to be exact.
The name i'm using is the old GUARDIANTALE, from when it was first created.
The basic and main premise is that monsters don't have magic, but humans do.
The motive is that this universe's barrier sucks the magic out of monsters to fortify itself, like a gigantic unmoving leech. Needing more human souls to break it.
(Well, it needs eight instead of seven, so definitely more than cannon.)
It was just like the OG game plot mushed with this concept for the longest time, with some cool medieval fantasy rpg aesthetics everywhere.
Now, i'm focusing on the idea of fairytales, independence and individuality and changed some points to better fit those themes.
Like, Chara never met Asriel, they WERE the first human to fall and did get adopted by the Dreemurrs, but Asriel was born much later, like a whole century after their death.
Also their death was not totally self inflicted, still a selfless act in a attempt to save monsters. They got killed by the second human, the Yellow soul. The specifics are a bit muddy, but Yellow for sure considers Chara an traitor, and humans do have some strong opinions on monsters.
Oh
OH YEAH, THE HUMANS! I added and changed so much.
The humans in this AU actually keep watch on the barrier to make sure monsters don't escape with a council made by the most powerful mages. Also it's tradition that every couple years some kids are selected to be trained and become the next generation of monster mountain watchers™
(They are very paranoid and overkill)
Actually, three of the fallen souls were some of those kids, excluding Frisk. They are still a mage of the council, but they are somewhat of a sacrifice, literally created and raised with the intention to check on the monster and either erase them all or "redeem" and liberate them.
On the other side, humans that fell down after Chara's death were executed in secret by the royal guard by The captain's command independent of Asgore (man's clueless for so long).
He does find out some decades later, but gets convinced to let them continue, after all Asriel was just born around the same time of the discovery, and with the incident of his first child dying prematurely, of course he would want measures to be taken about his safety. Toriel is distraught about this decision, and still leaves for the ruins, she tries to take the prince with her, but isn't successful, and he stays with his dad.
Asriel is in his teens when Frisk falls, and he's got the skeleton bros and undyne as adoptive siblings, because he was very lonely and sheltered as a kid (he still is sheltered), so ran away from home to see the world, came back home with two mischievous street urchins and an rebellious orphanage runaway and Asgore just accepted that he has three more children under his care now, because Asriel for sure was not gonna give him another choice.
All three of them were raised to serve Asriel in a way. Undyne was raised to be the Captain of the royal guard when Asriel took the throne, while Sans and Paps were meant to be his Judge and Jury, which in this AU means they are his concealers and bodyguards at the same time.
The underground also is a lot bigger, so instead of the problem being overpopulation, it is how harsh the climate of the place is and how difficult it is to travel.
I'm not sure why i did this, i think i was compensating for the lack of monster magic? Like, if the inhabitants aren't magical, so the place may so be it.
And this is all i have in almost stone for now...
I'll make a more in depth post about the character changes another time, maybe make the designs.

Bunny no way this is gotta to be a dream asriel why didn tell us about this before why you know how much I’m a fan of him
Asriel: Well... Much like the comic character, Venom is a symbiote that requires a living host to survive, not unlike a Leech Demon, although Venom is superior to those things in every way.

deltarune megapost
I wanted to make a Deltarune post about the lore and the things that aren’t  obvious. And once I do that I wanna focus on why Mettaton is incredibly important to this setting
And also why he poses a problem
Why did Toriel and Asgore get divorced?
Without the setting of Undertale, Asgore and Toriel’s marriage still broke up after they had Asriel. There needs to be a reason though. In UT it was Asgore’s ‘worst of both worlds’ decision regarding killing anybody that fell from the human world, including children. We saw how close they were before this happened. Only something deep and serious caused that rift. In Deltarune, what on earth did Asgore do?
What happened to Dess?
Mentioned a handful of times by Noelle, Dess was her older sister and is mentioned In Undertale.... in that Xbox exclusing casino thing. The way Noelle talks about her, the conspicuous way Noelle gets locked out of her big house - it implies Dess is gone or deceased. Berdly recalls a spelling bee when he and Noelle were younger where she, despite being smarter than him, misspelled ‘December’, allowing him to win.
Tumblr media
In the two-player spelling puzzle, it also spells out ‘December’ as Noelle recalls the past and her silhouette regresses to a child while she does so. Being distracted by her sister’s disappearance, rather than pure shyness, could account for her misspelling her name on stage, and it clearly left a big psychological mark for her to have this visual regression in the Dark World.
However, there’s a graveyard in Hometown with no Dess. I heard another theory that she has been missing for years, because where each character’s personal room is made by Queen to reflect their tastes via their search results, Noelle has a calendar where every day is December 25th. This could imply that Noelle continually searches the internet for ‘December Holiday’, her sister’s name, to see if there are clues to her disappearance, but of course the only result you would get is the date of Christmas.
Who is the Knight?
It’s now implied to be Kris, who has been forcibly removing the player’s influence to act on their own. By all accounts the Knight is the game’s main antagonist. Spade King and Queen both mention the Knight as someone who influenced their position - they brought Spade King to absolute power, and showed Queen that creation of new worlds was possible.
Tumblr media
We’re led to believe that Kris was doing this, because they’ve been acting outside of the player’s control. Eating the entire pie between chapter 1 and 2 might have been a red herring to cover that they also went to the library and used that knife to slash open a dark fountain there.
However. This has issues. How would they even manage to shuffle slowly all the way to the library and get in the computer lab? The Knight is also the one creating the hidden bosses. They talked to Jevil until he realised he was in a game and he lost his mind; they ruined Spamton’s life by elevating him to success and then crushing him. Whatever the Knight is doing seems to be deliberately planned with key players in mind.
Kris opening the fountain at home at the end of ch.2 can be explained in that you just figured out in Cyber World that anyone determined enough can do this, and so, Kris decided to. So a better question might even be...
What does Kris want?
We have no idea. They are capable of removing the SOUL, ‘us’, temporarily, and putting things in motion we cannot influence. But they also keep putting us back in control afterward. This is hinted at right when ch.2 starts, where if you inspect the cage in Kris’s bedroom they threw us into, the description says it’s inescapable. Meaning Kris came back and took us out, willingly.
They allow us to pilot them through the game. Why? Because they cannot live without the SOUL for long for some reason? Because they’re bad at bullet hell? Why did they slash Toriel’s tyres before opening the fountain, making sure nobody could drive away?? Why did they specifically open the door?
You can find out details about Kris through the creepy way you interact with the townsfolk, who think you are Kris. They play the piano at the hospital waiting room - better than you. They used to go to church just to get the special church juice. It’s all normal, relatable things, not like someone who’s trying to plunge the world into darkness. Judging by their search history portrayed in their Queen’s castle room, they really want to see their brother again. However the castle has a room based on Asriel’s search history too, and Kris (not you) closes their eyes and won’t look at it.
What is Ralsei?
His name is an anagram of Asriel. Is he an extension of Asriel? The slightly flirtier dialogue in ch.2 would point to no. Is he an extension of Kris themselves, given the link between Kris’s childhood habit of wearing a headband with red horns on it, to pretend to be a monster like their family?
Ralsei knows exactly where the Dark World in the school is located, and unlike regular Darkners, knows the world is folded up inside the ‘real world’. There’s a certain whiplash to Ralsei telling you to hop out of his reality into yours and go down the hallway to retrieve all the board game items.
How does he jump from one Dark World to another, without assistance? How does he not get petrified like Lancer and Rouxls? Is this a power level thing because he’s a prince or something else? We definitely do not know enough about Ralsei.
Tumblr media
He also says this incredibly suspicious thing after you spare Spamton NEO. Susie was also curious but accepts that maybe it ‘didn’t mean anything’, which is a sure tell that these optional bosses do mean something.
Someone is orchestrating what’s happening, opening fountains, manipulating the rulers, and influencing NPCs to become the optional bosses. Why? I suspect Ralsei for both knowing too much, and pretending something doesn’t matter when it clearly does. Until Asriel actually comes home from college I’m going to suspect he’s involved in this too.
How much does Seam know?
Seam on the other hand knows a lot about what’s going on but is openly withholding information while helping you. He’s nihilistic. He says things like:
One day soon... You too, will begin to realize the futility of your actions. Ha ha ha... At that time, feel free to come back here. I'll make you tea... And we can toast... to the end of the world!
Either this ‘end of the world’ is a reference to The Roaring, where opening too many dark fountains dooms the Dark World and the real one... or, I can’t get out of my head the idea that Deltarune takes place in a fake, or weird reconstruction of Undertale where things don’t match up, and eventually it will have to disappear. After all, powers of determination and creating and manipulating universes are Undertale’s basic bread and butter. How can we look at an Alternate Universe containing the characters we already know and not suspect that? Seam also uses Gaster’s key words, ‘darker, yet darker’, seemingly to clue us in that he’s not off track here.
Why haven’t we seen Papyrus?
This is a bright neon flashing ‘something’s not right’ sign. It’s not like Papyrus’s voice actor was too busy or anything. His absence is noticable and for a reason. Nice of Sans to promise we could meet him despite being aware we’re piloting a child’s body around, though, even if he didn’t follow through.
What locations in town could be used for dark fountains in the next 4 chapters?
If the sequence continues, we have chapter 1 in the school games room, chapter 2 in a computer lab, and chapter 3 in front of Kris’s television, where the aesthetic of each setting influences the world, characters, and enemies in the Dark World created there. Future possibilities include the church, the hospital, sans’s grocery store, Noelle’s house, and the closed bunker.
What the hell’s in the closed bunker
Tumblr media
This one’s too obvious, honestly. I think it’ll open for no reason in chapter 7 and a little white dog will bounce out and steal one of your key items and nothing else happens.
Why does Asgore have these
Tumblr media
Unlike the bunker feeling like a joke teaser, I gotta believe this is foreshadowing something weird. For example, what does opening a dark fountain in here with the seven flowers do? Does it just take you into Undertale?
Each chapter will have a hidden boss with a ‘soul mode’ from Undertale
Chapter 1 let you stay red, but I think each subsequent chapter is going to change your soul mode to one of the seven colours and design the encounter around that. Purple, yellow, green and blue were used in Undertale, leaving the light blue and orange modes yet to be revealed.
How does Spamton emulate Mettaton Neo’s name, body, and incorporate his battle theme, and the ‘Dummy!’ theme, with no actual connection between them ingame?
This is a really fun one that’s explained over in this post here. Swatch is the Dark World creation from the paint program on the library computers, so he’s able to explain that a Lightner made the robot body decaying in the castle basement that way.
Mettaton went to the library and drew his ideal form, Mettaton NEO, in MS Paint, and the Dark World formed that into a puppet body which Spamton was able to hijack temporarily. So by doing that Spamton was able to channel Mettaton’s appearance, attacks, music, and SOUL mode for the fight.
This might mean that the future hidden bosses, each with their own SOUL mode, might be based on the associated character for that mode (Muffet, Undyne, and Sans or Papyrus), and the boss will take on some aspect of them from their world to leech their fight mechanics.
The Problem With Mettaton
We don’t exactly know what Deltarune is about. It’s an alternate universe where the characters from Undertale already live on the surface, have completely normal lives, but diverge from the storyline of Undertale and, crucially, have not lived through the changes Frisk brought to their lives.
Remember how Undertale had a dozen different ending routes depending on who you befriended? The constant reinforcement in Undertale was that your choices mattered. Through Frisk, you chose to bring Alphys closure about her mistakes, you chose to befriend papyrus instead of attacking him, you chose to help Alphys and Undyne realise their feelings for each other and it’s only doing that that leads to the golden ending and escape to the surface.
Deltarune is the opposite, your choices do not matter. The only thing you can do to force the route of the game to change is to force Noelle into a No Mercy run, which is indirect, and also, a total desperation to mess with an otherwise set course. This version of the characters have not been helped by Frisk - Undyne and Alphys are not together, Papyrus has no friends, Asgore cannot get over himself, and they’re clearly the worse for it, but potentially, you COULD still do these things. In fact it’s hinted that you already are.
But there’s Mettaton.
He’s still a ghost and does not leave his house. In Frisk’s world, Gaster deleted himself, promoting Alphys to royal scientist by bluffing with Mettaton, and she then build him his ideal body. In Kris’s world... Alphys is a school teacher. There’s no barrier to break, no reason to experiment on souls, no Flowey mistake, and no body for Mettaton.
It was sad in Ch.1, but now with the Spamton NEO fight in ch.2, it’s unmissable. Mettaton wants that body and he cannot get it. Alphys in this universe is not going to leave her teaching job and suddenly be able to build a robot. Mettaton is just... screwed out of his happy ending and cannot get it.
So what resolution could this have? If it wasn’t for Mettaton I might believe in the vaildity of Deltarune and Hometown. But. How can you doom this character? If Undertale was the only way Mettaton could be befriended, then Undertale is Primary Universe A and Seam is right - the world of Deltarune is doomed as some kind of aberration. It all relies on how this gets explained in the future, but the core mystery of Deltarune is how exactly this universe intersects with Undertale and whether one is an offshoot of the other. How the Dark World links into that is another complication. But even as we get more fun characters and neat stuff in the Dark Worlds, let’s not forget we have absolutely no idea why Undertale’s characters are living here with no mention of underground or why there are no other humans beside Kris.

The Princess and her Knight: Since Edge's duty is to protect the Princess from any and all harm, would he intervene when UF Asriel is picking on her?
The relationship of Chara and Asriel from Underfell is a bit different in this AU - Asriel's outgrown tormenting her as he did when he was a child, but he still has a superiority complex and sees himself as above her.
He's cold towards her, much like Papyrus himself is. Perhaps Asriel is to be her future husband due to an arranged marriage (much like the CinderellaFell AU), or maybe the king and queen of Underfell's Underground plan to marry her off to a prince from another universe.
So no, Papyrus won't defend her from Asriel, at least at first. He sees the princess as a dirty stray, even a leech, someone that only acquired her status and position because the king and queen took an interest in her - therefore, she should be grateful to them.
The grand difference between the UF!Papyrus of this universe and the one from Underfell is that the latter has learned already his previous point of view was wrong.
This one has yet to make that journey.
He's going to have to learn the long and hard way that his king and queen aren't always thinking of what's best for everyone - in fact, they think of themselves more than anyone else.
And he has to learn that Chara isn't inferior because of her humanity, or her lack of blue blood.

((more random notes about the kids’ souls because it’s almost 4am and I’m still thinking about it~))
Because Chara/Locke has been exposed to the underground and thus a lot of magic, their soul essentially would start to look like this over time:
Tumblr media
As monster souls project their bodies essentially, the reason for the dust-like appearance is that the magic infused within their soul is trying to create a projection and can’t due to the natural interference of their determination and their pre-existing physical human form. The magic, having nowhere to go, affects the physical form to some degree through freezing it.
Still trying to think exactly what their soul looks like post-death, given it’s shattered but due to its dust-like qualities it created a sort of vessel out of their locket upon their soul shattering, like how the flower Asriel’s dust was spread over became a vessel for Flowey. While Flowey comes to exist due to the DT experiments of Alphys, Chara/Locke’s soul persists in their vessel after death because of the DT they already have.
With their body being buried under the garden, though, some remnant of them (Chara) is woken up by Frisk’s determination, and depending on the verse they’re either a sort of ghost that only Frisk can see or just. kinda possess Frisk’s body entirely on accident. This aspect of Chara is basically just a projection of them when they died, as opposed to Locke who is their actual consciousness, having existed in the locket for years and years with no actual method of communication, unknowingly calling out to those like them (which is why Frisk comes to the mountain).
Locke’s soul looks somewhat like the above, just on the verge of shattering. When Frisk opens their locket, they essentially leech off their determination to poorly glue the pieces back together and reset the timeline. Their actual form is a magical projection like that of a monster, so their soul might look somewhat less “dusty,” but they don’t exactly show it off, keeping the locket frozen shut.
Mono, aka Chara of a bad timeline, would have a soul that looks about like this:
Tumblr media
Without magic to sustain them, they are nearing the end of their life - that is, their body will soon completely freeze over - by the time Frisk arrives in the underground.
As for Frisk, their soul in all the verses besides Mono’s would essentially look like this until they get to the underground:
Tumblr media
As mentioned previously, their soul is strong enough that it will take a long time for it to actually deteriorate, and it’s delayed even more by being around monsters (at which point it will start looking more like Chara’s soul, and LOVE will eventually also be an issue, but again much slower).

Welp. Tessora helps the girls navigate the storm in her big fox form. Ivy calls for Stretch as Tessora walks through the snow. Ivy is able to walk..so she just presses close to Tessora calling for Stretch..
Do the boys hear?
Prism and Tallie are talking to Asriel and Onyx telling them to "take care of our sisters". Until Asriel states that both are dead. Prism is in shock and begins to break down. She killed Ivy? No.... No!
How does Tallie react?
Tallie can feel her heart breaking. This was never supposed to happen. She and Prism promised each other they’d never hurt their little sisters, and now because they let go of their emotions, they killed them. She breaks down sobbing, covering her face as her self-loathing grows, and all her power leeches out of the air, slowing the storm a little.
The wind is way too loud. The boys can’t hear the girls calling to them at all.

um for the new sensory prompts, 55 and flowey if that's okay with you?
Rating: T (for no mercy route timeline, no on-screen violence though) Word Count: 680 Prompt: Finding old photographs you’d forgotten about Read on AO3: here
---
The roll of white wrapping paper nearly blends into the light gray rug. Gray, white, gray, white. Did Da—Asgore decide that monster dust was a good color theme for his house after his kids were dead? Or was the ugly color just what happened when his hope leeched out of the home, bit by colorful bit, until the wood-and-brick structure was the shade of bleached bones?
It doesn’t matter. It’s not like anyone’s going to be alive to see the pathetic house after Flowey and his best friend are done with them. Chara will probably think Asgore’s horrible decorating skills are hilarious. Right?
Whatever—Flowey still needs to get ready for them to get here. Which means fighting the stupid roll of wrapping paper.
Cutting it with “friendliness pellets” didn’t work. Scissors feel uncomfortable in his awkward vines. Eventually he manages to slice a long, jagged sheet of paper, though. He sets the first box in the middle of it before remembering that he has another present to wrap too. Ugh.
Despite the annoyance of wrangling the paper and scissors, he cuts another long scroll. After that, wrapping isn’t so hard. He has enough vines to hold the paper in place and tape it down. The final touches are the ribbons he ties around the presents, in the bright red hue of his sibling’s Soul. That’ll keep Chara from missing the gifts in the bland white of their old room.
Two gifts. Despite everything he’s done, everything he and Chara have become, the items still hold a perverted sentimentality.
Chara’s gardening knife, freshly polished, ready to find a new home between the ribs of a certain smiley trashbag. Chara’s heart locket, still beating with the protective charm that Asriel once cast on it.
Best Friends Forever. In life, and in death.
At the end of this game… it will just be him and them. The rulers of whatever world comes after: a world crafted purely from their own Determination. He’s read Alphys’s reports, her theories, and corroborated them with his own experience. With the LOVE of the whole Underground beating within them, paired with the human souls Asgore has uselessly hidden away, there will be nothing Flowey and Chara couldn’t do.
Maybe in a world like that… he can finally feel…
He shakes himself, petals flaring. He’s getting distracted. His final gifts are complete; there’s only so long he can sit here and fiddle with his meticulously-tied ribbons.
He slithers across the rug to the bedroom door. As he turns the handle, something reflects in the golden metal. If he had legs, he might’ve jumped. Instead, he spins as quickly as his stem will let him.
“Char—?”
No. Just a photo, one he hadn’t noticed from his earlier angle. The frame is angled towards Chara’s old bed.
He snakes back for a better look. It’s not like he has anything better to do.
Beneath the glass, Asriel laughs, his arms full of yellow flowers. No, not yellow—they’re tinged gray, like everything else in this mausoleum of a house. Gray, old, dead. He only knows the blooms are supposed to be yellow because—
He closes his eyes. Why does it hurt? He held Chara’s knife and locket long enough to wrap them. But this photo…
Chara’s there, too. It’s one of the only photos anyone ever caught of them. Mo—Toriel and Asgore stand over them, though they’re too tall to fit inside the frame.
Good. Flowey doesn’t want to look at them, anyway.
He slams the frame down on the dresser. The satisfying sound of shattering glass echoes in the white room, before being swallowed by the hungry walls.
Flowey shrinks back to his normal height and shakes a few tiny shards out of his petals. His stem won’t stop trembling.
“Stupid,” he mutters. “That world’s dead. You’re gonna build a better one.”
Chara would build a better one. They knew how this world worked, how to beat it. How it was kill or be killed. They wouldn’t be a coward.
And this time, Flowey wouldn’t fail them.

Fresh Meat: Confinement- Chapter 21

Chapter 21- Gathering
Chara awoke to a knock on their door. They groaned and grumbled, it wasn’t anywhere near the evening. Afternoon at most. They grumbled out, “Alphys? Is that you?” Alphys replied happily, “Yep! I’ve got some good news! Well… partially.” Chara stood from their bed. They spoke cautiously, “…Partially?” Alphys slowly slid the latch lock open. Chara looked down curiously at the panel, but it did not open. Instead, the door lock clicked open. Chara froze for a moment, fear and uncertainty flashed. The ringing returned briefly. The door cracked open to reveal Alphys’s smiling face. She was to the side of the door, away from the pile of dust. She spoke kindly, “I’m taking you out of your room for a bit!” The ringing subsided as Chara relaxed. They raised a brow curiously, “For the investigation?” Alphys nodded as she opened the door wider, “Yeah! I um… I proposed the idea that I’d watch you while the Royal Guard examined and cleaned up here!” Chara, still with a cautious gaze, approached the door, “And… he approved?” Alphys gave a nervous smile, “Yeah… but… we have to go to my room, and we can’t leave there until he says so.” Alphys began to fiddle with her claws. Chara sighed heavily. They resigned, “Well, it is better than some other options I thought he would concoct.” Chara stepped through the open door. They paused at the pile of dust. Alphys offered a hand to Chara with a smile. Chara smiled softly as they took the hand. With her assistance, Chara gracefully stepped over the dust pile. The two released their grasp before they moved on.
Alphys led Chara down hallway after hallway. A different path than Chara knew. Chara noticed cameras as they turned some corners. They locked their sight on each one. After a few, Chara perked up, “Were these cameras always here?” Alphys didn’t look back at Chara, but replied, “I don’t think any new cameras have been set up in the lab lately.” Alphys frowned as she and Chara looked at the next camera as they passed, “He’s… watching us through them, right now.” Chara’s face contorted with disgust, “He is still keeping a close watch despite the investigation?!” “He’s waiting for the Royal Guard. And for Serol’s team to arrive. They have the only keycards that aren’t in storage other than mine. So… our intruder got it from one of them.” Chara looked up at the closest camera with a glare, “So he is passing his time by ensuring I go where you said I would.” Alphys nodded. She looked at Chara solemnly, “He was really strict with me about it.”
A smile budded on her face, “But thankfully, once we’re in my room, we won’t have to deal with cameras! We can talk and relax in peace!” Chara rolled their eyes, “While we are imprisoned in your room for a change.” Alphys let the last comment be as stopped in front of a room. She beamed and exclaimed, “And here we are!” Chara stopped. They turned towards the door to immediately see the nameplate. Chara raised a brow, “You don’t have a last name?” Alphys opened the door and shook her head, “No. It’s not common for monsters to have last names. It was usually leaders and other important monsters who had last names.” Alphys stepped into the room. She beckoned Chara with a repeated downward movement of her hand, “Come in! I have a lot of stuff to show you!”
Chara stepped into the room as Alphys turned on the lights. Chara paused as they took in the sight of Alphys’s room. The room was bigger than their own and more densely decorated. The bed was the same as Chara’s but a few water damaged plushes sat at the end of the bed. A small bedside table held a lamp and a few framed pictures. A metal canister sat at the edge of the table. A bookshelf hugged the back wall with many books, VHS tapes, and an assortment of discs. All cases and books in varying condition. Against the wall opposite the bed was a wide dresser with a large square tv on one side of the dresser. A few DVD cases were to the side of the tv, as well as an attached DVD/VHS player. Next to the door was a work desk strewn with books, papers, pens, and pencils in seemingly disorganized heaps. It was easily the most disorganized looking area of the room, despite some things being strewn about the floor.
Alphys blushed in embarrassment, “Sorry about the mess.” Chara heard the door close behind them as they spoke, “It is alright. I have seen worse.” Alphys pulled the chair from her desk towards her bed, “Here! Sit! I’ve got a lot of movies, books, and tv shows we can watch!” Her eyes lit up as she gasped, “I could show you my favorite tv show ever!” Chara raised a brow as they sat down in the chair they were offered. Alphys scurried to the tv. She scooped up one of the DVDs next to it and presented them proudly. The cover was warped with a large corner of the art discolored. Most of the cover showed a human girl with pink cat ears and a tail. She had bright green eyes and pink hair. She wore a frilly maid-like outfit. Her hair, necklace, and matching pink boots were all adorned with large gold-painted bells. Across the bottom of the DVD were words in pinkie lettering, “Mew Mew Kissy Cutie! Volume 1”. Chara stifled a laugh before they belted out a loud laugh of disbelief. They exclaimed, “What is that?” Alphys pouted, “C’mon! It’s really good! Just give it three episodes! An hour an a half!” Chara crossed their arms and raised their brow, “By then, I could be whisked away, back to my cell.” Alphys opened her mouth to protest. Not one sound escaped before her expression deflated. She sighed, “You’re right. We don’t know how long we have here. I just… I thought I could show you all the things I enjoy while I had the chance. So we’d have more things to talk about.” Chara’s expression deflated as well. They rested their chin on their hands. They gave a soft smile, “Alright. I’ll give an episode a chance.” Alphys’s expression grew to an unbridled glee, “I promise you won’t regret it!”
Alphys quickly switched the discs in the DVD player, putting the disc she was using in the Mew Mew Kissy Cutie Volume 1 case. She turned on the tv, where it began to hum slightly. She grabbed a remote on top of the DVD/VHS player. She turned and walked to the bed where she sat comfortably. Chara looked over at Alphys as she began to access the DVD's menu. Chara was able to see all the items on Alphys’s bedside table. They frowned as they noticed the metal canister. Chara spoke curiously, “Alphys?” Alphys looked over at Chara, “Hmm? What’s wrong?” Chara pointed at the canister with an even expression, “Is that… the substitute?” Alphys quickly muted the tv. She placed the remote beside her with a frown. She gently grabbed the canister and held it close to her. She nodded, “Yeah. It is. I’ve already taken my dose today.” Chara held out their arm, “May I see it?” Alphys raised a brow. She extended the canister towards Chara without a word. Chara held the canister with two hands for a brief moment. They twisted the canister open to see a number of red pills within. They held one. Soft to the touch. Smaller than the one they remembered Gaster had shown to them and Asriel. Made with their blood all the same. It even had a faint scent of blood. Chara lightly smirked, “So this small pill is meant to stop monsterkind’s extinction.” Alphys shrugged and stammered, “Well… I mean… sort of? It’s only a temporary solution until the barrier is shattered.” Chara mused, “It is smaller than I remember.” Alphys blinked, “You saw it before?” Chara returned the pill to the canister, “He showed Asriel and I the prototype. Used from blood stolen from me my a moldbygg.”
“Oh… I didn’t know that. Can I ask what happened?” Chara nodded. They closed the canister. The whispers returned to them as they spoke, “Asriel and I went to explore Waterfall. Mother came along in an attempt to protect us. We were in the grasses area, and a moldbygg was hiding, flattened in the grasses. While Mother passed over it with no reaction, it reacted to me and instantly swallowed me whole.” Alphys twiddled her thumbs, “Is… that where you got those weird scab-like scars?” Chara instinctually went to cover one such scar on their arm, “Yes.” Chara held the canister out to Alphys, “Needless to say, Mother and Asriel saved me. Asriel was brave enough to resuscitate me, but he tasted my blood because of it.” Alphys nearly dropped the canister. Her eyes widened in shock. Her voice grew lower, more serious, “Asriel tasted your blood?! Wh-what happened to him?!” Chara continued calmly, “He slowly began to lose more and more energy. I believe his instincts almost caused him to attack me once, but he was quick to snap out of it.”
Alphys placed the canister back onto the bedside table. Her voice quieted and became more somber, “That makes sense. It’d be the first time he’d tasted blood after surviving off snails. His body would instantly feel the soul energy in your blood.” Chara paused. They raised a brow, “Soul… energy… in my blood?” Alphys folded her hands on her lap, “Well, we can’t eat any other animals or any plants. Some very small varieties can give us only a little nutrition at best, but we have to eat humans at some point. Did the Dreemurrs tell you why that is?” Chara scratched their head, “No. Mother, Father, and Asriel all appeared to subsist off snails well. Until Asriel tasted my blood.” Alphys pointed at her chest, “It’s because of the soul. Human souls naturally hold a lot of magic inside them. It leeches into every part of a human from the moment the soul arrives well before birth. And since monsters are mostly made of magic, we survive off of the magic of the human soul.”
Chara rested their arms and chin on the chair’s back. They gave a skeptical glance, “If our souls hold as much magic as you say, why is it that humans cannot perform magic?” Alphys blinked in confusion, “But… they can. That’s how they put up the barrier around Mount Ebbot. I suspected you can’t use magic, but no human can?” Chara shook their head, “Not that isn’t simple sleight of hand or perception tricks. Humans using magic is nothing but a legend.” Alphys quieted in thought for a moment. A shocked expression budded on her face, “Maybe…” She looked towards Chara curiously, “Did stories of Mount Ebbot include the humans who made the barrier? What happened to them?” “The legend goes that seven magicians gave their lives to seal away monsterkind within Mount Ebbot.” Alphys sighed, “I get the feeling that those could have been humankind’s last magicians.” A shiver ran down Chara’s spine, “If they failed…” Alphys grimaced, “We’d be living in a very different world. Yeah.”
The two paused as the realization sunk in. The silence became awkward. Nerve-wracking. Alphys soon cleared her throat and smiled, “Um, so… did you still want to watch an episode of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie? It’s lighthearted and… probably just what we need right now.” Chara relaxed in their chair with a sigh. They faced forward and slumped against the seat back. They smiled, “Sure. Why not?” Alphys gave a small smile before she pressed play.
——————————————————————————————
Gaster returned to the screens. After what felt like days, a team of the Royal Guard arrived to inspect and clean up the crime scene. All he had to wait for now was Serol’s team. He turned back to the screens. Someone was already in the upper lab. Serol. Gaster watched as Serol dug into a small messenger bag off his shoulder. He pulled out a keycard and swiped it at the elevator access. Gaster mentally noted that action. He watched as the elevator opened and Serol walked into the lower lab. Gaster gathered his notes; he had an interview to conduct.
Gaster teleported around the corner of the hallway to the elevator. He rounded the corner to see Serol dig in his messenger bag. He pulled out a cell phone. Serol began to dial a number but paused. He was quick to notice Gaster approach. He lowered his neck and head, “Greetingsssir. You assked to sspeak with me and my team?” He began to dig into his bag once more, “We have finalized the planss for the next iteration of the ssoul sscanning apparatuss for your approval!” Gaster raised his hand, “There will be time for that later. I summoned you and your team for a much more pressing matter.” Serol perked up. He allowed his bag to be slack at his side, “More pressssing? Did ssomething happen?” Gaster motioned for him to follow, “We’ll talk on the way to my office.” Serol nodded as the two began to walk, “The resst of the team should be here ssoon. Should I tell them to join uss?” Gaster lightly held his hands behind his back, “No. Have them wait in the lab room I spared for your team. Remind them they all must use their keycards as they arrive.” Serol dug out his phone and began to text, “Undersstood.”
Gaster’s tone turned serious, “I summoned you because we had a break in last night.” Serol nearly dropped his phone in shock, “What!? That shouldn’t be possssible!” “And yet, it happened. With the human nearly taken as a result.” Serol frowned. He replied gravely, “Oh… oh no… Please tell me-“ Gaster swiftly cut him off, “The human is uninjured. Alphys is currently keeping close guard over it. Since the intruder resisted arrest, he has been dealt with.” Serol put a hand to his chest. He loudly sighed in relief, “Thank goodnessss.” He paused and gave a curious expression, “Iss my team here to aid in ssecurity ssolutionsss?” Gaster smirked, “Something to that affect. I simply need to ask you and your team a few questions.”
Serol stopped. His voice turned serious, “You think ssomeone let thiss intruder in.” Gaster halted after a few more paces. He looked back at Serol with a knowing glance. His back was still turned to Serol. He smirked as he dug into his pockets, “I know someone let him in.” Gaster pulled out the confiscated keycard. He held it for a moment to allow Serol to see it. Serol slumped. His jaw dropped slightly. Gaster continued, “This keycard was found in the intruder’s dust. Alphys has taken inventory of all keycards. The only ones missing other than hers, which she presented, are the ones lent out to your team.” Serol crumpled to his knees. He hissed out in desperation, “I ssswear to you I had nothing to do with thisss. I promissse, I will aid in finding the traitor on my team.” Gaster stowed away the keycard before he turned towards Serol, “The fact you used your keycard to enter the lower lab lowers your suspicion.” Serol’s neck curled up, his head pointed towards Gaster. Relief washed over his face, “Thank you ssir.” Gaster frowned, “But that does not clear you of suspicion.” Serol pointed his head back towards the floor, “I am prepared to do whatever it takesss to find the traitor.”
Gaster went to speak. A chime noise cut through the tension. Gaster paused and closed his mouth. He gave a befuddled look for a moment. He quickly glared down at Serol. Serol blushed slightly through his scales, “My apologiesssir. That isss my text tone.” Gaster highly facepalmed with one hand. His other hand cradled his elbow. He groaned, “Is it your team?” Serol dug his cell phone out of his messenger bag. He smiled, “Yess. They are all nearly here.” He seemed to examine the text carefully, “Well… almosst everyone. One hassn’t returned my textsss yet.” Gaster peaked a glare through his fingers. He smirked and lowered his hands, “If all of your approaching team has their keycards, I won’t need to interview them one by one. We’ll have found our traitor.” He approached Serol. He bent down slightly and offered Serol a hand, “Shall we greet them at the door?” Serol looked up. His frown lit up to a bright smile, “Yesssir!”
The two returned to the elevator. As they turned the corner, they noticed two members of the team waiting. The elevator whirred down, supposedly carrying the third team member. Gaster approached with a strict tone, “I take it you all remembered my request?” The first team member nodded, “Yeah. Enter the lower lab one at a time. We’re all here.” The second team member rolled their eyes, “Uh, no? Malv’s not here yet!” The first team member facepalmed, “Right. Malv. Sorry, they’re so quiet, I barely notice they’re around…” The second team member snarked, “Because they put in more work than you.” The first team member snarled, “You take that back!” Gaster cleared his throat. The two team members quickly took notice. They paled and stood in attention. The second team member was quick to apologize, “Sorry, sir.”
The doors opened to the third team member. He blinked and looked at Gaster, “Oh! I didn’t know you’d be meeting us here, sir.” Gaster calmly explained, “That wasn’t my original plan, but due to your hasty arrival, I decided to skip the one on one interviews.” The third team member stepped out of the elevator before it closed and whirred back to the upper lab. His co-workers gave a confused look. He expressed their confusion, “What do you mean? What’s going on?” The second team member perked up, “Is this… not about our progress on the soul scanning device?” Serol perked up. He began, “Well, there wass-“ Gaster put a hand on Serol’s shoulder. Serol looked up at Gaster in confusion. Gaster evenly expressed, “I will explain.” Serol dipped his head down slightly, “Oh. Yesssir.”
By this time, the elevator began to go down once more. Gaster smiled as he heard the whir, “And we have our final guest.” The five stood in silence for the few moments it took the elevator to arrive at the lower lab. The door opened to the fourth team member. They blinked, “Well, this is unexpected.” Gaster smiled, “Good. All of you followed instructions. You are no longer the main suspects as a coconspirator of last night’s break-in.” The team’s faces paled in shock. The fourth team member gasped, “Wait, what?!” The first team member exclaimed, “What the hell is going on?! How could someone even break in?!” The third team member adjusted their glasses, “Oh! The keycards! Dr. Gaster asked us each to enter one by one using our keycards!” Gaster nodded, “Correct. Each one of you here has complied. However, there is one member of your team missing. Malv is now our main suspect.”
Gaster’s tone turned serious, “However, this could simply be incompetence on Malv’s part to show up. Therefore, I have no choice but to have you all detained here in the lower lab.” “What!?” “But, sir!” “You just said we’re cleared!” Most of the team members exclaimed simultaneously. Gaster shook his head, “I said you are no longer main suspects. Due to the fact the human was the target of the break-in, I have no choice but to be cautious.” The first team member’s jaw dropped, “Someone was dumb enough to try and take the human?!” “Yet intelligent enough to get past the lab’s security.” Gaster paused as the team quieted down, “Now. You will confine yourselves within the lab room I have spared for your team. You will stay there until I or one of the Royal Guard allows you to leave. Leaving before such time will deem you a coconspirator in this crime and you will be dusted as punishment. Do you understand?” The team and Serol answer at once, “Yes, sir.” “Yesssir…” Serol and his team begin to move into the lab. Gaster frowned and called out, “Serol.” Serol stopped and turned back to Gaster. He gave a confused and defeated look, “Yess?” “You will aid the Royal Guard in detaining Malv. Lead them to Malv’s home and return with them.” Serol gave a surprised expression, “Oh… right away… ssir…”
