Theory Breakdown #1: No, I am your Father, Bobby.

Please enjoy my bad photoshopping. And out of curiosity, how many of you koth fans are also star wars fans?

If you have seen fan theories about King of the Hill, you are probably already acquainted with this theory. If not, well then get ready! Here we go...

The main idea of this theory is that Bill Dauterive is Bobby Hill's real father! People have noted the similarity in looks between the two characters as Bill and Bobby look more closely related than Hank and Bobby. Here are some images for you to compare.

Some point out that this would explain Bill's obsession with Peggy, her dislike of Bill, and the fact that Bobby was conceived despite Hank's narrow urethra. There is also a scene in season 10 episode 1 "Hank's On Board" in which Bill admits to having slept with Peggy one night which Hank is quick to dismiss and Bill immediately drops, agreeing that he did no such thing. If you believe this fan theory, you can see this moment as confirmation. This could also explain Bill's constant want of a child and craving of a family like Hank's, as Hank's family could have been his, as well as Bill's closeness to Bobby in episodes like season 11 episode 3 "Blood and Sauce".

Now is this believable? Honestly, in my opinion absolutely not! I think that Bobby may not look like Hank, but he looks a lot more like Cotton than Bill. Here are some images for you to compare.

Also I think Bill is just lonely after his divorce and has an unhealthy attachment to Hank's family because it is what he wanted to have with Lenore. Peggy obviously just dislikes him because he continuously makes comments about her and makes her uncomfortable. Not to mention, at his core, we all know that Bill would never do this to Hank. He loves him and when he thinks Peggy is hitting on him in season 4 episode 17 "Bill of Sales", he immediately shuts her down, distances himself, and is even hostile towards her afterwards. In the episode this is explained as Bill just being used to being insulted all the time, but I believe that that kind of attention from Peggy would just make him uncomfortable. I think he wants someone like a Peggy to his Hank, not Peggy herself (personally), though he certainly is creepy towards her at times. The story he tells Hank of him sleeping with Peggy once is probably just an extension of that creepiness/desperate want of companionship like Hank's.

Also in season 3 episode 4 "Pregnant Paws", we learn that playing with puppy Ladybird with Peggy relaxed Hank enough that he was able to conceive Bobby, so the narrow urethra desperation from Peggy is just weird clutching at straws since, in that same episode, they want a baby again but are once again having to deal with conception issues with Hank's narrow urethra. If she conceived Bobby with Bill, why not just do that again? I just do not think there is much evidence throughout the series of Bill being Bobby's father. But what do you think? Could Bill be Bobby's father? Do you have any King of the Hill theories? And if you want to learn more this video goes more in depth and apologies if a lot of the stuff I said is also in here, I haven't watched it since it came out and then watching a little of it when I was done I saw we had some similar episode evidence, but what I've said are 100% my own thoughts. Because it wasn’t that long ago that I was in a little Boomhauer, sleeping on bookshelves in the hollywood hills with only 47 billion dollars in my bank account, and only 47 Cotton Hills in my John Redcorn account, and only 47 hills in my hollywood account, and only 47 TEDx talks where I talk about Buck Strickland in my TEDx talks where I talk about Buck Strickland account.
