Ok so I have a question. I want to know what everyone’s headcanon is regarding how Leona got his scar because I think about this A LOT. I'm almost caught up to the Eng version but chapters 6 and 7 haven't come out in English yet so if there was a scar backstory reveal, I never knew.

I read one fic where Leona had gotten his scar due to a servant throwing a glass at his face (forgot the name of the fic but if I find it I will share. It was very good). I think there was another one where Leona had gotten it in a failed assassination attempt I think?

I know that Leona was inspired after Scar and is not Scar exactly but I have to wonder if he got his scar the same way Scar got his or maybe even the way Kovu got his scar.

In case you didn't know, Scar or Askari (his real name) got his scar due to being bitten by a snake. The venom messed him up and began to corrupt his mind, only making the jealousy he felt toward Mufasa grow.

In the Live Action Lion King, it is hinted that Scar got his scar from a fight with Mufasa and Mufasa had given it to him.

Kovu (in case you didn't know he isn't related to Scar by blood but he was picked to be his successor) got his scar from his mother. His mother in a fit of rage gave it to him after blaming his brother’s death on him.

A lot to take in and A LOT of lore but I'm the type of person who loves deep lore LOL

But what are your thoughts on how Leona got his scar? I would love to hear about them!

{The Bad Ending}

• Leona didn't remember anything after his Overblot... other than the panicked expression on your face, trying desperately to lift all of the debris to free your brother despite your weakened state.

• Your hands that you kept clean and nails that you kept polished and sharp, were now bloodied and a few fingers dislocated by the bastard lion himself. Everyone gathered and surrounded him to check if he's still alive, yet you didn't spare a glance.

• The infirmary he's currently resting in is silent, yet he still hears your pained cry...

Zira: "Nuka! N-Nuka!"

• ..... Isn't it bad enough? All he wanted was to be first for once. He knows that he must take risks but he didn't expect life-threatening ones. He thought his plan was flawless. And yet...

Zira, crying: "KOVU! WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE?! HELP ME! HELP YOUR BROTHER! KOVU!!"

Kovu, injured: "I... I can't.... I'll get help!"

Zira: "KOVU!!!"

• Your anger towards your younger brother is understandable, but that doesn't mean you should blame him too. He's only 15, what he witnessed was traumatic after all. He was too weak to do anything. He could only rely on his seniors for help. He left you to get rid of the debris by yourself.

• You finally managed to push all of the rocks and find your brother, barely breathing and blood dripping from his mouth. The pillar that was on top of him crushed his upper torso, so you could barely hear his last words as his lungs and ribs begin to break...

Zira: "Nuka! Get up!"

Nuka: ".....N-Nii-chan...."

Zira: "Get up, Nuka!"

Zira, sobbing: "I SAID GET UP--........*sob* ...….. Please.....*sob*...."

• You did everything you could. The pillar didn't even budge... You know that help would never arrive on time. The only thing you could do now was to comfort him before his time is up. You heavily cried for the first time. Between tears, you force yourself to smile. Your brother's eyes lit up one last time...

• A smile. On your face. As you look at him. At what progress he's made. Not a single trace of malice nor cruelty. A smile of approval that he desperately wanted it to be given to him, even just once.

Zira: ".... I'm sorry...*sob*.... I'm so sorry.....*sob*.... I should've been a better brother..........."

• You finally see your brother close his eyes forever. All that was left is silence.

• A few weeks passed, Nuka's burial ceremony is being held in your hometown, Sunset Savannah. Everyone in school and the entirety of Savanaclaw acknowledged him as the one that sacrificed his life to save his superior. They all visited him to pay respects, including Leona.

• Although he hates going to events, it's only fair that he must pay respects to the one that died saving him. He finds the burial sight crowded with students. Ruggie and Jack were there dressed in funeral attire.

Leona: "Hey, Ruggie."

Ruggie: "Ohh, Leona... it's surprising to see ya here. But it's kinda expected"

Jack: "Hello, Leona-senpai."

Leona: "...... Yeah."

Ruggie: "..... You're not gonna avoid this any longer, ya know..."

Leona: "I know.... Where's Zira?"

Ruggie: "...... Ya sure you wanna see them right now? They're still mourning."

Leona: "...I'll just mourn with them."

• Jack reluctantly nodded his head and called for a relative if it's alright to see you. The relative, Vitani, only scowled at the sight of Leona. Leona didn't scowl back. Vitani then sighed and went to check up on you.

Vitani: "Nii-chan, Dorm Leader Leona is here. He wants to see you"

Zira: "..............."

Vitani: "...Should i--"

Zira: "Bring him in.

• Vitani immediately called to Leona to meet you and warned him not to upset you any further. Leona didn't say anything and just walked with Vitani to you.

• There you are, just standing beside Nuka's casket, looking at his face knowing that you'll never see it again. Your ears perk up at Leona's footsteps but you waited for what he has to say. The dead silence between you grew longer.

Zira: "......."

Leona: "........."

Zira: "Bold of you to show your face here, Dear Dorm Leader Leona."

• There was anger and mockery in your voice that Leona was not familiar with for you used to sweeten your voice around him and made sure to praise him on every effort he made. He took your admiration and respect for granted. He lowered his head, only making eye contact on the floor.

Leona: "I know that my... actions have led to consequences. And those consequences turned into something unforgivable. I am....... I apologize... For everything--"

• Leona felt blood trickling down his cheek, and a new scar layered his old one on his left eye. Yet he still didn't make eye contact with you to see your tear-stained face and bloodshot eyes glaring at him.

Zira: "Apologize. Apologize?! HOW COULD YOU APOLOGIZE FOR EVERYTHING AFTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!! AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO MY NUKA??! THIS. IS ALL. YOUR FAULT!!!!!!"

Leona: "..............."

Zira: "I ADMIRED YOU. I RESPECTED YOU. I PRAISED YOU. I EVEN HELPED YOU! AND WHAT DID I GET IN RETURN?! NOT EVEN AN INCH OF GRATITUDE. YOU KEPT TAKING FROM ME... YOU TOOK MY BROTHER!!!!!!!"

Leona: ".....I didn't ask for your admiration, or your respect--"

Zira, tearing up: "NO ONE SAVED HIM!!! NOT EVEN DIASOMNIA!!! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE WATCHING OVER US!!! YOU...you were... supposed to be....... Our king."

Leona: "....... I'm sorry, Zira....."

• Leona closed his eyes. He didn't want to see you finally breaking down. He cannot comfort you like your brothers. He tried to hold back the tears welling in his eyes...

Zira: "I guess... It's my fault as well..."

• The realization hit you...

Zira: "I planned... with you. For the attack on Diasomnia... Nuka only wanted to help... They cornered us.... You were desperate...."

Vitani: "...Leona doesn't remember anything about the Overblot, nii-chan. He caused the debris by accident. "

Leona: "It's true."

Zira: "...I could only hear the laughter you let out after destroying everything. And at that moment I regret ever knowing you... I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU.

• There was another silence in the atmosphere. Leona took your last words to him as a cue to leave. Before he walked out, he gave you his gold necklace...

Leona: "... I'll be removing my position as Dorm Leader of Savanaclaw. Please... Let me mourn for Nuka."

• Leona bowed to you, knowing that you understand the meaning of the necklace...that you'll never see his face as again. He took one final look at Nuka and left.

Ruggie: "Welcome back, Leona. How'd it go?"

Jack: "...Are you gonna be seeing Nuka's burial ceremony, senpai?"

Leona: "No. And I told to stop calling me senpai."

Jack: "Sorry."

Ruggie: "Well, see you around, Leona."

• After the whole mourning thing, Leona thinks ne needs a nap. A very long one. It was the first time he saw a sibling mourning for the other. He wonders if...

Andrew "Andy" Lovington: Dorm leader of RSA Hearts adj, Based on "Alice", Short blond hair with a blue headband, blue eyes, kind but a little ditzy, 2nd year. Unique Magic: "Looking Glass" - Makes a mirror that can hide someone or multiple people in it, they must keep quiet or to a low speaking voice or else the people outside the mirror will hear them.

Bigsy "Hatley" McGee: Vice dorm leader of RSA Hearts adj, based on "Mad Hatter", Black, long light brown hair tied back in a ponytail, wears a green top hat, Grey eyes, mysterious and a bit strange, 2nd year, calls Yuu "Love." Unique Magic: "Tea Time" - Halts time for an hour, can't exceed time limit or he blacks out.

Sissel Kingscholar: Dorm leader of RSA Savana adj, based on "Kovu", Lion beastman, Cousin to Leona, long darker brown hair that has a few braids in it, scar over his eye, yellow eyes, kind but nervous, 2nd year, first year as a dorm leader. Unique Magic: "Lion's Light" - Brings an area into a bountiful lagoon.

Pine Voiser: Vice dorm leader of RSA Savana adj, based on "Maximus", horse beastman, medium length white hair, olive eyes, stoic but a gentleman, 2nd year. Unique Magic: "Captain's Orders" - Gives orders to whoever is in the area of effect.

Riley Nights: Dorm leader of RSA Scarabia adj, based on "Aladdin", short brown hair, tan, friendly yellow eyes, Magicless, very kind and friendly, 2nd year.

Nanu Coulette: Vice Dorm leader of RSA Octa adj, based on "Lilo", Long black hair, TWST equivalent of being Hawaiian, warm brown eyes, Extremely kind and goofy, 2nd year. Unique Magic: "Through my eyes" - Is able to see and talk through his scrump doll, can't use magic through the doll.

Jahzi Al-Asim: Vice dorm leader of RSA Scarabia adj, based on "Jasmine", long brown hair, red eyes, generous and kind (except to Jamil), 2nd year. Unique Magic: "Tiger's eye" - Calms down anyone he casts the spell on, must be looking into his eyes.

Grooves Heights: Dorm leader of RSA Igni adj, Fae, based on "Hercules", medium blond hair, black, vibrant green eyes, nerdy and bubbly, 3rd year, Twin Brother: Lute. Unique Magic: "Olympus' Might" - Grants super strength and durability for a limited time or until he cancels it.

(newly added) Amur Heklia: Jahzi's retainer and best friend, a tiger beastman based on "Raj" who appears at NRC because he's worried about Jahzi being close to Jamil. Neither him of Jahzi are fond of Jamil.

(newly added) Julies Roan: A beastman deer prince, based on "Bambi" hailing from a densely covered forest city located in the Shaftlands. Neige's Vice Dorm leader and a bit nervous and timid kinda guy.

Lute Heights: Vice dorm leader of RSA Igni adj, Fae, based on Hercules' Pegasus, medium blond hair, black, vibrant orange eyes, smooth and dorky, 3rd year, Twin Brother: Grooves. Unique Magic: "Hero's Flight" - Manifest wings to fly around, wings are strong enough to carry people.

Prince Phara: Dorm leader of RSA Dia adj, based on "Prince Philip", short silver hair, keeps a sword at his waist at all times, very gentlemanly and regal, brown eyes, 3rd year, Magicless.

Hey ummmm.......for some odd reason I'm getting hyper fixed over the lion king 2 characters bc all of them were very interesting especially Kiara and Zira so my head started questioning......what would happen if Leona and cheka met the lion king 2 characters?

Alright so I made one post in the past, where Scar warned Leona not to go near Zia as she is a very obsessed fangirl, so thats one. And Leona didn't let Cheka go near her at all. He didn't give an answer as to why, but I personally believe he just didnt wanted Cheka to get hurt (cuz family)

When it comes to Kiara I think Leonanis fine with her, aslomg as she doesn't annoy him amd since she is pretty much good, he let Cheka be around her. Kiara is ofcourse suspiscious of Leona first, but gets told by Simba that he doesn't have any murderous thoughts towards Cheka, so she is relieved and understands Leonas situation. She thinks by the way Cheka is adorable. Cheka thinks Kiara is awesome.

And now Kovu so I am sure he would be nervous around Leona for obvious reasons and for Leona he is just some kid, nothing more and nothing less. Although he does like how he defied his mother (ake. the very first crazy obsessed fangirl). Same feelings when it comes to Cheka and reversed

two victims of circumstance. while the royal life may be pretty as everyone sees online, it's not that easy having restricted freedom. in chapter 2, leona listened and tried to do his best to assist his dorm into what they want and need no matter the consequence. this is the freedom he wants of being heard and use his power for a PURPOSE — even if the execution is deemed fit for a villain.

the similarities he holds not only with scar but also with kovu (lion king 2) where they're forced into a situation they can not control and are remained unheard. both wants to help, both degrades themselves, they want to hold a purpose. farena must be stuck in a situation like this too — instead of being able to assist your father, you are forced to be mature and grow up too soon for the betterment of the country. now that cheka is born, i believe leona's concern also circulates his nephew that he, too, will be a victim of circumstance.

cheka saw something in leona that his own father and staff are so uniform in terms of personality that he wants... freedom too...

lions very much has a familial nature — they naturally care for their pride. so to be UNABLE to do so because of your position... yeah this 2 year planned event was really researched upon.

I got into twisted wonderland recently(I've only been playing for a month, but I did get to book 7), mostly out of curiosity to see what's up with it and why people say it's similar to obey me.

And to be honest the game is way better than I expected(to be fair my expectations were incredibly low, but despite that the game is genuinely good).And I will probably talk a lot about it.

Also of course my favourite character in the game is the lazy bastard again.

So here it is a drawing of Leona(as a lion since I don't draw humans). I also did it in the lion king style for no reason outside of wanting to see how it will look like.

Also yes I ended up taking more inspiration from Kovu's design then Scar's(because it just fit more)

The first version is the final one(wanted to make it look like an old illustration from a book) and the second one is the flat coloured one(just wanted to show the actual colours).

We all know that the boy's negative traits draw from the villains that inspired them. However, the boys take their good traits from various different Disney heroines/heroes. Here they are!

(I'm not adding some characters either because their "good" inspo is obvious or I can't think of any other Disney characters that they resemble. No Kalim or Rook for that reason.)

Ace=Alice: Both are spunky, clever, adaptable and quick-witted. Neither of them are afraid to stand up for what they think is right, even in front of those in power. But at the same time, they are both honest to the point of being blunt and hurtful.

Deuce=Jim Hawkins: Both are former troublemakers with hearts of gold that want to make their moms proud. Both even share similar backstories, even if the "father walking out" is more of a "read between the lines" situation in Deuce's case.

Cater=Cinderella: Both have older sisters that give them a hard time, both view the school (which is a castle) as an escape and hide their pain with a smile and sunny disposition.

Leona=Kovu: Both are jaded guys with chips on their shoulder and their society looks down on them for reasons out of their control. Both also have a wicked dry sense of humour.

Ruggie=Aladdin: Both are "street rats" who are sly, cunning and clever.

Azul=Tiana: Both were ridiculed for things beyond their control. (Azul for being an octopus merman and Tiana for being a black woman in the 1920s South). Both are hard working, capable, resourceful and want to operate their own businesses.

Jamil=Jasmine: Both are smart, quick-witted, sharp tongued, capable, bold and clever. Both are loyal to those dear to them. Both are trapped and desire to be free. They also share some similar design elements like the long, black hair. Jamil=Aladdin: Like Aladdin, Jamil feels trapped in the circumstances of his birth, he longs to be free. He wants to show the world just what he’s capable of and that means improving his social standing. (Though, I think Jamil is far more clever and cunning then Aladdin. I don't ever see Jamil pulling what Aladdin did in the movie.) Jamil=The Genie: Both are men gifted with supernatural powers, who are forced to bow to the whims of those in a position of power. Sometimes an asshole in The Genie's case, and a whole family of them minus Kalim in Jamil's case. Like with the above example, both are trapped and desire freedom to travel and see the world.

Vil=Snow White: Both are hardworking, capable, adaptable, quick on their feet, and at times kind and caring. They strive to help those around them become their best selves. (As a side note, I still stand by the fact that Vil is the better Snow White analog than Neige by a long shot. Vil resembles Snow White personality wise to the point of being like a modernized version, and only his negative traits draw from the Evil Queen. Neige only looks like her, and that's it.) Vil=Prince Adam/The Beast: Vil shares similarities with him, both good and bad. But I want to focus on the good here. They both have moments where they see themselves as a monster, but in reality they aren't irredeemable as people. In fact, they both have their kind side, especially towards those they hold dear. Adam gifts Belle the library and saves her from the wolves. Vil saves Ortho and Grim from the River Styx and genuinely wants to help those around him to become their best selves. (Even if the latter makes no sense and doesn't even fit with how it works in mythology, but I'm not ranting about that rn.)

Lilia=The Three "Good" Fairies: Like them, he tended to Malleus, making sure he was taken care of and provided for him. He is a powerful magic user and is trusted by the queen regent.

Malleus=Elsa: Both are powerful magic users with isolated and sheltered upbringings, being seen as monstrous to some when they aren't. They must keep up a regal and stoic personality as a king/queen despite how emotional they actually are.

Silver=Mulan: They share similar values. Both are deeply honor-bound people and hold family very dear. Silver has similar insecurities as Mulan. He wants to be a good son and retainer but feels unworthy because of his background. Silver=Aurora: They share similar backstories. Both are royalty, who were raised by fae out in the forest. They are unaware of their royal status until they're older. Animals are drawn to both of them.

Every time I think of twst next gen and think of characters based on the Decedents character, I remember first seeing the second and third movie and finding out that Mall (daughter of Maleficent) and Uma (Daughter of Ursula) had beef before the events of the movie.

And it's like playground beef that escalated through their childhood. Mall even nicknamed Uma "Shrimpy" so thinking about how Malleus's kid and Azul's kid would interact is fucking funny to me. So their whole dynamic is similar to Leona's and Malleus's.

This is even funnier because I thought of Leona's kid being bff's with Malleus's kid (Kinda like how Mal and Ben or like Kovu and Kiara)

As kovu, he has a physical apparence extremely similar to Leona even if he's adopted

Felix: I... Don't know if I make them an Hyena or not, anyways, adopted child and middle child, honestly the chillies among this family

Razi: the oldest and cranckiest like his father before him, the blood son of Leona, got an inferiority complex that's messing with him a lot during all his years

In my head he probably gets transfered to Ignihyde and finaly gets out of his father's and brother's shadow

• Leona wakes up in a dark and vast void. He feels black ink dripping down from his eyes. He looked down to see many arms made of the same substance clinging to him, holding him in one place. The ink is starting to turn his lower torso into sand... Surprisingly, it didn't hurt.

• ..."Huh... So this is what it feels like..."......

• Leona never thought that his Unique Magic would be useful for anything. At least now it's useful for wiping out his existence--

• ....What?.......

• ........."Leona!"....... "Leona-senpai!"..............

• ... Is that... Ruggie? Jack?......

• Why are they calling out to him? Can't they see he's done enough? Can't you see he needs to nap forever?...

• Leona finally opens his eyes. He sees that he's still in the coliseum, albeit a little dilapidated. The students that fought his Overblot form gathered around him, creating a ruckus that disturbed what he thought might be his forever nap.

Crowley: "Oh, thank the sevens. He's waking up!"

Riddle: "You gave us quite the scare. Are you alright?"

Leona: "...Do I look alright to you? Fucking... Loud-ass midget..."

Riddle: "What was that?!"

Sebek: "AHEM! I AM AFRAID THAT I'LL HAVE TO BE THE FIRST ONE TO REMIND ALL OF YOU THAT THIS IGNORANT BEASTMAN HERE ATTEMPTED TO CHEAT--"

Silver: *sigh*..." Not the right time, Sebek..."

Ruggie: "Never thought I'd be glad to hear you complain, shishi--ouch!"

Jack: "Ruggie-senpai! Be careful, you're still injured."

• Everyone is glad that Leona is still alive and the ink on him begins to disappear. This made Leona feel... Happy? But there's something wrong. He feels like the others are incomplete. He looked around to see some people missing... He looked at a heavily injured Kovu desperately pleading to the headmage.

• Leona stood up with the help of Jack and walked over to the young beastman.

Crowley: "Kingscholar, you shouldn't stand up too soon! The students shall take you to the infirmary-"

Kovu: "Please you gotta help them, sir!"

Crowley: "I assure you, Kovu, help is on the way. You should rest-"

Kovu: "They'll never reach on time! I know the rest of the guys are hurt but we have to go now!"

Leona: "Where are they?"

Crowley: "Pardon?"

Kovu: "They need our help! Nuka is trapped and Zira can't get him out!"

Leona: "Kovu, calm down. Where are they now?"

• Kovu told Leona your and Nuka's location and hurriedly rushed over. Leona was almost pulled back by everyone else since he just woke up from his Overblot, but he's being stubborn about it. He insisted making a beeline straight to you despite him being tired. Jack helped him get up, Kovu joined them to find you.

• They soon find you trying to dig out Nuka from under the pillar. Leona never heard your voice with this much worry... To be honest, he actually never thought of you worrying over your siblings. • Leona raised his voice at you. You looked over to Nuka, his breaths shortened. More blood starting to make a puddle around him. You can't handle the pain of letting Leona hurt him... But you also can't handle the unbearable pain of losing one of your sibling.

Oh well, he guessed that Karma is real. Speaking of Karma, he'll visit Nuka to apologize. And here you are, in the infirmary, watching Nuka sleep, and your siblings by your side. Your ears perking up at the sand of his footsteps.

Zira: "I'm...I am very proud to have both of you and Nuka as my family. You looked up to me, but I did not notice that. After Nuka was injured, I realized how heavily I took your existence for granted. I'm very sorry to have mistreated you after all these years. Will you...forgive me?"

• You were gonna savor every second of this very rare celebration in Savanaclaw. Jack managed to make friends like ADeuce. Riddle just having tea with Leona. Cater taking the opportunities to capture every scenery with his phone and share it on Magicam. Kalim and Jamil dancing. Trey making sweet treats that Ruggie likes. Savanaclaw not having fights but are still loud. Except... There's someone missing.

I have a question: do you think everyone in RSA is as nice and saintly as the game and some fans say they are?

I don't know why but aside from Neige, the dwarves, and Chenya, I have a sinking feeling that there's a handful of students who are mean at best and downright awful at worst.

I feel like it's a 50/50 split. It's a school for heroes, but there are the villains turned heroes attending the school (HC, but also kinda based on the fact that Cheshire cat is sometimes labeled as both a villain and a hero depending on what kinda story it is). I imagine some are nice, like Neige, and some that teeter on the edge of being mean, but a nice mean. Like they'll given you complements but they're backhanded.

I also imagine the level of their mean or awful would be based on who they're inspired by, but that switch is flicked when they're around their villains. I'm gonna use one of my OC's as an example.

Jahzi, Kalim's cousin and based on Jasmine, is fine around Kalim and certain people from NRC, but then Jamil shows up and Jahzi is downright rude to him.

But then there's Sissel, Leona's cousin and based on Kovu, who just wants to get to know Leona better and is nice cause he's been a "villain" before.

Then there's the neutral party, Hatly, who's based on Mad Hatter (who is either a villain or a hero depending on the story), and doesn't exactly have strong feelings one way or the other for NRC students.

But at the end of the day, they are heroes and heroes put down villains, so they speak very rudely about them and often hope for their downfall. Cause that's what heroes do, they vanquish the villains.
