I just spent like maybe an hour trying to think of what to draw and literally jumped from one fandom and hyperfixation to another in a mad scramble to try and find motivation

Honestly talking about q!Baghera’s idea, i think it’s solid and makes complete sense for her character to do, but I agree that meta-wise for the elections as a whole it needs work. With more discussion/workshopping a revolution of some sort could potentially be very cool!!

But ignoring all of that, my pov is that trying to commit to any plan like this, have it the way you want it to go, is always difficult purely bc of the evolving improv nature of the roleplay ingame. Anyone can die at any time like what happened to her and the whale, and it can all be out of the players’ hands in an instant so you have to think fast.

And as she said, there’s too many maybe’s especially with Elquackity. Yes they could kill Elq to get him out of the running, but this is no doubt something the character has already considered. Everything he’s doing, he is setting himself up to be the hated public enemy #1 on purpose and we don’t know why. Assassinating him could all be part of his goal. We don’t know his real plan yet, but we at least know that he wants candidates to die- he’d probably enjoy watching them self delete from the election tbh, less work for him

Also keep in mind: the admins want to facilitate interesting rp above all. If by chance they are not okay with something, they will do something about it, like the recent rule changes. If they really didn��t want people to q!off themselves in the elections, they could easily add an ultimatum of some sort to discourage it from happening- like “Campaign lives have a cost, if a candidate takes their own provisional life on purpose they will permanently lose a full row of their normal hearts and go back to 10.”

So I don’t think it’s anything to worry about ^^

Thank you all for all the love on my writings! I've definitely accomplished the one thing I've always wanted, and that was to write works people would read! Never thought it would be exactly what I write, but I enjoy it, and I'm glad you all do too!

Is Valentino switching his team to Yamaha in the coming years?

Rumours are definitely circulating. Apparently they are slated to make the switch to Yamaha in 2025 and become their main satellite operation with access to factory bikes. Yamaha needs a satellite team after RNF abandoned them for Aprilia and Tech3 abandoned them for KTM. I think Uccio said somewhere that they are trying their best to get a factory bike for Bezz in order to give him a better shot. Which makes sense because Bezz gave up a Pramac seat to be with them.

Unfortunately Yamaha is squeamish about making the switch from an in line engine to a V4 engine. Their argument being that they have used these engines forever and the other teams that use V4 have years of advantage on them. Which again, fair because engineering at the highest level is about how familiar you are with every little last detail and that experience only comes with time. Not likely that Yamaha will make big tech changes before 2027 and that's some time away. Interesting to witness for the VR46 operation because they have been incredibly lucky with a rider like Bezz who brings this massive wave of talent, and Luca who is sharp and great at communicating with engineers. Add to that the fact that Ducati has the most sophisticated simulation tools of any factory team. So you know, even though they were at par with Gresini, they were still able to furnish far better results.

Fingers crossed for their Yamaha years because Fabio Q has spoken extensively about how Yamahas just don't have the engine power. But I suppose the Rossi connect would get them more favour from the factory operation than they get currently. All in all, fingers crossed.

i understand why people are disappointed over shorter song lengths but to say "we wait three years for this" is kind of selfish...? i know people are gonna think i'm a cupcake and idgaf but it's like... niall's spoke about how tough 2020 and onwards was on him mentally... and it's just like he didn't spend the entire three years making an album, he was slowing down for the first time in 10 years. just bc he took a long time to release music from 2020 to now doesn't mean he owes us a plethora of music. idk i just feel like no one has any faith in him and idk why😭 he hadn't disappointed us, at least not me, with flicker of hbw, so why would the show be any different?
