What’s your thought about “Kaylor: The timeline”

I’ve just ended it and I’m pretty positive that’s something fishy with that. I mean there are literally the lyrics of songs from Reputation and Lover, the concepts of both of these albums and also everything seems to fall into the right place and the insights are so accurate.

I don’t know if it’s just me and I’m clowning around or it’s obvious to you too (?)

It's funny that you ask me this question because my group chat made me read this fanfic at the start of the year to see what I would think about this.

For those who don't know what we are talking about. Here's the link (X).

It's a fanfic that people heavily speculate is written by Taylor. As there's many Koincidences and references to albums that were not released when it came out.

The fanfic was started in February 1st 2015 and the last chapter was posted on May 27th 2016.

At first I was VERY skeptic. Because when you read it with that lense and go to the comments and it's full of people saying things like: Look! She talked about grass it's a reference to Invisible String!!

Well, it was not very convincing. 😅

But then I got the the part where Karlie and her are going to the restaurant and Taylor compares her life to being in a fishbowl...

Then, there's so many tiny details that are, well really precise.

Like at some point in the Timeline they are talking about a moment Taylor was very jetlaggued and wrote an email to Scott Borchetta telling him that she does what she wants.

Well, there was a tweet that Taylor made, with this exact caption.

And the date on the Timeline is the exact same as the tweet.

But those can all be just a very dedicated fan that did their research.

It's been a long time since I read it so I don't remember all the details.

But then....

There is a scene that is exactly : "I'm laughing with my lover, making fort undercover, trust him like a brother, yeah you know I did one thing right".

I repeat that the last chapter was written in May 2016...

That's references to Call It What You Want.

Her song about the Love Blackout and running away with Karlie...

And in that chapter (or really not long after), she's EXACTLY talking about the love blackout....well running away with Karlie.

Not only that.

She's talking about taking a break from big releases after 1989, to be just with Karlie and not release another album like planned. 🤨

She's asking Karlie to run away with her. Somewhere they can just be them. And Karlie says yes.

To tell you my jaw dropped when I read that....

They talked about coming out together if everything went well until Decembre 2014....Karma....

Now. You know that I tried to dig a little to see if I could find something.

Sadly I've found nothing.

The author have a Tumblr and A LOT of posts. Taylor would have had to create a whole other personna before creating that fanfic. (X)

The author also have other fanfics.

So is it really odd all the references to album that were not released yet? Definilty.

Is it impossible to be Taylor that wrote that? I guess not.

But I really can't tell honnestly.

But the Love Blackout plan and delaying album release to run away with Karlie is jarring. As well as the Call It What You Want reference and Lover fishbowl.

There's more, but those three are the ones that stuck with me.

Things that makes less sense though: Dianna earasure, Haylor being real. Joshlie being real.

Although. If we want to clown... this could have been a way to protect all those people and create a believable storyline that would have given them the chance to come out together....

So yeah... One of Gaylors/Kaylors greatest mystery.

Firstly, I super appreciate the addition of the months to the dates cause I was lowkey hoping for it. I get way too invested in the actual timeline so this was very much welcome haha.

I always love flashbacks to fetus (teenage) Pazzi, like even irl, that’s always the time period and their dynamics during that time that interests me the most so I absolutely adored this flashback scene!

Azzi sending an actual letter invite was so wholesome, would not be surprised if something similar actually happened irl. I know Paige spent a whole day just re-reading the “Yours, Azzi” at the end 😂

Ice cameo! I love getting these new special guests each chapter, makes it entertaining tryna figure out who’s gonna pop up next.

Stephie was already tearing up saying goodbye and they’d only properly known each other not even a month?? BRUH, this one-year contract is not gonna go down well AT ALL. #ProtectStephieatallcosts

Also, has Ice met Stephie? The way she talked to P about Stephie made it seem like she hasn’t yet or maybe I just read that wrong?

As soon as I read the “comes roaring back with a vengeance” and the name “Olivia”, I knew it was trouble (nothing against those with the name Olivia 😅), I felt it in my bones she was the ex-wife.

Look, she hasn’t done much wrong yet and P maybe did deserve some of it but I don’t like this Olivia. It’s just a matter of principle, you know.

Stephie facetiming P on her own cause she just missed her too damn much 🥺 This little family (they’re already a family in my mind okay) gives me so much life, and will probably be the death of me eventually.

Time zones would be a confusing af concept to kids, I never even thought about that lmao.

Stephie’s fave colour being purple too, I mean I guess she’s been constantly around purple her whole life so it makes sense but imma choose to believe it’s a continued manifestation of that invisible string between Paige and Azzi. Also, I can just imagine Azzi’s reactions when she realises she’s basically raising a mini Paige too lol.

And the full circle moment of P skipping out on team events to stay on the phone with Azzi (and lil Azzi) – you never fail to deliver with these full circle moments babes, and the way you do it is just so organic, like it always flows and never feels forced and ugh YOUR MIND 🙌

What’s next?

Ice’s comment about teammates having to deal with Pazzi’s bullshit – that just made me even more desperate for those flashbacks to their UConn days, especially when it all starts breaking down.

Oh btw, does Azzi know it’s a one-year contract? Are contract terms reported on like they are irl or nah?

Also, just making sure I’ve got the timeline down pat – Paige and Olivia were together from 2027 to 2031? And I’m assuming Azzi had Stephie Jan 2028 or late 2027 since Stephie’s five in present day? So Stephie woulda been almost two when Paige first met her in that run-in with Tim?

I wonder if it was P that proposed to Olivia, and if it was, I’m curious to know the timing and if it was a knee-jerk reaction to Azzi having a baby??

What I really need to happen though is Paige’s dream coming true!

Stephie is just so real to me that even when Pazzi have kids irl, Stephie will always be the OG for me 😌

Also, the suggestion someone had the other day of Paige kid-proofing everything is on point. Like her first priority for her new place in Cali isn’t even gonna be furniture or anything, it’s just gonna be stacks and stacks of toys and lego sets and other kid stuff 😭

P.S: This is non-fic related but while watching my fave sport (AFL) over the weekend, there were a couple players playing their first game back from an ACL injury and one of the guys was coming back only SEVEN months after tearing his ACL! And this sport is like one of the most physical sports I’ve ever watched so I couldn’t believe it. Anyway, it made me really hopeful for Azzi, cause I feel like she’s probably on track for a nine-month recovery and I’ve had reservations about that especially given it’s her second one, but seeing those guys coming back after an even shorter period of time and pulling up fine made me feel a lot better. I know the recovery is different for everyone, but if Azzi (and her rehab team) believe she’s ready to be cleared after nine months, then I have full trust in them and I can’t wait to see her back on the court 🥹

Albus was alright really well done here which since Cursed Child I don’t see very often 😅 I guess I should tell you some plot right? Rose and Scorpius are rivals at school, fighting for not only top grades but also out pranking each other. Chaos ensues. There is a time jump to adulthood where we find them as unlikely.. friends? After Scorpius seeks career advice from Rose. I don’t want to give too much away but just trust me when I say this is amazing.

I've written fics that has art, but I've never co-written a fic before. I feel like I'll be too controlling or I'll be MIA. There's no in-between. 🤣

Thorki, my love! I'm still waiting on the sun to shine on them again. BUT WHEN, MARVEL? WHEN? You might not think it's Thorki given how little I've written for the ship, but I'm Mr. Knightley. If I loved [them] less, I might be able to talk about [them] more.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Restoration [Harry Potter, Snarry, Rated M]! My only WIP fic. One day! And I guess my Interacting with Unusual Creatures series [Fantastic Beasts, Gramander, Rated G]. It's suppose to be a 5+1 Things fic. There are only two moments. 🤣

16. What are your writing strengths?

Packing a (emotional) punch in as little words as possible. Did I mention I write drabbles? lol

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing anything longer than 2k. It's always a *struggle*. Don't come to my AO3 account looking for a 100k plot-heavy fic. You'll be mighty disappointed.

Teen Titans (the Cartoon Network series) and the X Files. You will never see them. Ever. 🤣

I don't have an absolute fav. I have been thinking lately about a coffeeshop AU fic I written --- Warmth [Harry Potter, Snarry, 1k, Rated G]. I might write a sequel for that.

This may be stupid/impossible but can you put the album in chronological order for me? I'm trying to figure out each story and where it should go 😵

in chronological order of when they happened in her life? 😅 maybe! i'll try to tie in other songs as touchstones too, though there are far more than just what i'll mention.

2. midnight rain (this is a guess, but it sounds like someone she knew very young, and reminiscing about that small town feeling, the "normal" life she gave up, we could say debut-fearless, i've seen it connected to the way i loved you, and to the story of 'tis the damn season/dorothea from evermore)

3. would've, could've, should've (preceding speak now era, connected to dear john and the story of us, jm)

4. bigger than the whole sky (this is me taking a shot in the dark only because this and the previous song are linked lyrically - "what would've been, could've been, what should've been you," in my head is her mourning herself, because that's how it speaks to *me*, and how i grieve myself. there are dozens of different interpretations of this song and we're probably all wrong, but i like them as a devastatingly heartbreaking pair, so.)

5. maroon (red era, jg, it's literally just. it's all of the heartbreak and yearning and quiet anger that exist on red as a whole record, but darker.)

6. question...? (1989 era, hs, interpolates out of the woods, also very i wish you would and all you had to do was stay)

7. bejeweled (post 1989/pre-reputation era, ch, i'm smacking the next person who misinterprets this as anything having to do with her current life with a glove, he was stifling her and dimming her shine)

8. high infidelity (pre-reputation era, ch, possibly reflective of tolerate it, and ivy tbh, from this point all love songs are about joe, who is mentioned here, "he brought me back to life," which very briefly connects to gorgeous and paper rings)

9. glitch (pre-rep, connected imho to so it goes... and cruel summer and cowboy like me)

10. snow on the beach (pre-rep, but i'm not 100% sure of this placement, i'm only putting it here because of the feeling of delicate, and falling in love at the same time vibes seeming like early on, glimmers of long story short and cornelia street as well)

I have... NO IDEA why I started drawing this... I guess it dawned on me that Spamton's upper outfit is very similar to Gaster's, so I wanted to see what a mix would look like. And it's kind of funny that fusing their names comes up with GASTON. 😅 I spent... DAYS trying to do a background that would work well enough with it, agonized over gray levels due to everyone having such different monitors & I wanted to make sure his body & hair would be visible... Ended up just going with a plain black background and (hopefully) safe shade of gray. The code strings took a lot of work because I couldn't find a custom paintbrush to do the effect for me, had to improvise. This looks so simple, but ended up with so much invisible effort... Oh well, I STILL finished it, so yay! Oh well... Enjoy this strange, sad abomination. (Included both glasses versions: Black, & Code)
