i'm not going to say much about it, mostly on account that i do not consider myself a part of the gw2 community anymore, but you guys have a serious problem with poc speaking up for themselves and telling you when you've done something wrong and inheriently a bit racist. your first reaction should be to sit down and shut up, genuinely. a lot of you would do some good to examine who and what you're sympathizing with and why your first instinct is to exend a loving hand to your white community members, while swatting away and 'critically examining' the poc ones. have some goddamn introspection.

How do we feel about Beach wear Noritoshi....

Everyone thinks he'd go covered head to toe wearing those wet suits divers use, but no. Noritoshi isn't the type to want to attract attention to himself when it's not needed, so he'd try to blend in. Emphasis on try.

He's the guy wearing a covering or some shit. I think you'd have to fight him to wear a translucent one. (if you splash him with water, you'll acheive the same effect thoughahahaha) even though it's a beach, he's trying to find an appropriate way to cover up, hes just like that. yes to sunscreen ofc. Same reason I don't post art as often. At some point the engagement on my stuff started to drop off, and it became a disappointing prospect to post anything, like I already know people won't engage w it the same way they did in past years so even putting stuff out there hurts a little. Even worse w asks because the longer I leave them sitting the longer I know I'm making people wait for a response, the worse I feel, and the worse I feel the harder it is to respond.

I'm actually appalled at how gatekeeping, aggravating and Percy obsessive the pjo fandom is when you say you like Jason as a character or say ANYTHING good about him at all. I've had such horrible experiences, like why the dirty look ffs? I'm not a "true" pjo fan if I like Jason?? Bffr it sounds like something an 8 year old would say

Like I came across a YouTube comment appreciating Jason and Nico's closeness as friends and the replies HAD to be "oh L take. Imagine liking jason. Percy was much more brotherly and affectionate with Nico than Jason was" like ??? This is isn't about Percy?? Not everything revolves around him?? People can like and appreciate others too? How come I NEVER see these comments in a Leo or Nico post?

Or those stupid Instagram reels where ppl go "The people who like Jason isn't one of us" like this ain't a cult ma'am you aren't special for for making Jason lovers feel unwelcome. It seems to be some kind of trend.

Liking Jason isn't a fucking disease and people aren't obligated to have Percy as a favourite. Get over it, the world isn't going to end. I swear I didn't want to come off so aggressive here but this is seriously a very toxic and offputting trait the fandom has that NEEDS to fade over time.
