This year, over #springbreak I was able to go with @mattlawson.mma to the #lonestarstate to visit one of our #bestfriends @martial_arts_tutor We ended up just chilling like we used to when we all lived in @vancouver_usa together. It was so awesome to just hang out, spend time, and #chill like old times. Taylor, Matt, and I grew up doing martial arts together. While we were in Texas we got to train together, see @functionaltaekwondodfw film some awesome @youtube content, and even practice some #breaking All in all, it was super dope to hangout with the boys and check #Texas off my list. The days seemed to be blending together for Alexandria; her days spent helping the people of Hillside to recover and move on, while her nights were spent with Helena, Aviva, Seth, Alynne, Jezyk, and her cousin Clarissa, speaking of old times and future friendships. Injuries were tended to and new plants and trees were added to the soil...an effort to replace those lost in the war. 

And each day she would look to the paths leading away from the town center, hoping to catch sight of a lone rider -- or small group of riders -- that would signify her brother’s arrival. But each day she was disappointed...for he never arrived. It led her to question if he had intended to come at all. Would he not be here by now? Maybe seeing her was not as important as he had made it seem. Had something come up that had taken his attention, again? 

Soon she and Clarissa would be returning to Ithilian -- their work here almost done. Would she get to see her brother again? Or would another year go by without his presence within her life?
