yuuta exhibits such previously abandoned, recently adopted dog behavior. incredibly anxious all the time, even though nobody’s out to get him or leave him behind. waits for you to return home or from school or from work excitedly, just to see you when you walk through the door. follows you around senselessly, hovering in your space just for the sake of companionship. initiates affection in prodding ways—starts off next to you, then a hand on your thigh, then deems it safe to lay all the way down, then slowly pushes his head into your lap. gets up whenever you need to get up, and resumes his position as soon as you’re ready. brings you gifts as a sign that he’s thinking of you, and maybe because he likes the affection it brings out in you, maybe because he likes the gentle affirming touches of a hand in his hair or a pinch to his cheek. rests his head on your stomach or his chin on your shoulder when he’s sleepy, stays there, immobile, and will not move unless absolutely necessary. sometimes he gets surprised when he hears you calling for him, there’s a moment of disbelief as he thinks “me? really? you need me?” but it’s very quickly overshadowed by this compulsive need to show up, to please, to do anything for you, which is why he always answers when you call. he doesn’t realize that he has puppygod eyes, especially when he’s excited or confused, but he does and it’s incredible endearing. very reluctant to share your space or attention after a while, considers that to be sacred and he won’t risk being let go or lost again, so as a safety precaution, he keeps himself right by you, waits for you always.

So it turns out the common thread between all my favorite characters in these movies is *loud noise*.

Thing I’m noticing is that the boys in La Familia-42 don’t actually have much facial expression. They have really cold, serious faces that look really intense without actually showing much. It's a Prowler thing, I guess.

Aarons in general don’t make very exaggerated faces. There's lots of times where he looks super intimidating but his actual expression is just 🗿.

So if I want Aaron-42 to look more intense or scary, there’s not much I can push in his actual expression without making it look OOC.

Way different from drawing the big snarly man where you can pretty much put tiger expressions on a human.

Crying because Gwen knew of the many possibilities of gwens and spidermans falling inlove and she didn't mind at all. And with her being the spiderman in this scenario and her peter now gone, wouldn't that make her safe from death? But then she thought of Miles. Now STEP.ASIDE. cuz why on earth would she think about Miles if she hadn't already fallin in love with him hUH?

Think about it... she's the one who started this whole conversation at the clock tower. There's no reason for her to do that if she doesn't even consider him a love interest. And like that other post i saw, she hesitated because the 2nd part of this love story is the ultimate deal breaker. But she waited on Miles to respond. She wanted Miles to take the LEAD. That's why his response easily put her at ease.

one thing I enjoy about patrick o’brian’s writing is that quite often not only are the curtains intentionally blue, sometimes they manage to be blue in reference to two different characters, a major theme, something classical, and a dad joke. Love books that make me decode one-off references.

Is it just me or are there (ironically) more people shipping Gwen and Miles after ATSV than before?

When they had nothing but fluff I always saw "I think they should just stay friends we don't need them to be together" but now when they're angsty I see a lot of "they're so in love I hope they work things out and everything ends well for them".

Mfs were longing to see each other so much they got y'all longing to see them together too, now that's good writing
