thanks for answering my ask! i am starting to loooooove ur after life city au – it is already one of my favs fan aus so far!

the concept of this au is just creative and clever and interesting so far! like how u made the three clock keepers managing at different times of the day and having that steam-punk style is, ugh! the rest of the lords (and probs nene – i love akanene friendship) readying themselves to commit murder if someone hurts kyo is adorable! (and also him stealing random hearts to inspect them lmaoooo such an unhinged akane thing to do)

then there is shijima abusing her powers to create legit nightmares to those she thinks doesn't deserve it and rides on her paper airplanes cuz she doesn't want to walk – ugh, what a queen! (loving the sakumei crumb!) and mitsuba is hating his job, which kind of makes sense that he doesn't want to cooperate since he isn't a sadist and hates to see people suffer!

and the more i read, the more it makes me want to know the answers to these questions: how akane became kyo, like did he wander into the city after he died at the age of 12 and captured the hearts/the attention of kako and mirai? how come he was declared missing and not dead..? and why is he searching for the key to his clock?; how did sumire and katakuri become no.6's assistants? is it because among the sacrifices to shinigami, these two are the ones who aren't ready/doesn't want to reincarnate?; who is sakura waiting for?; how did tsukasa become hanako's shadow?; what is the role of the minamotos here?; and what is the real reason for hanako in wanting the rest of the lords to work together?

gah! this au is gonna be stuck in my head for a while now!

The three clock keepers managing at different times was just a funny idea I got after the riddle of the Sphinx :DD (even if the riddle is the other way around with the kid at the beginning of the day and the old man at the end but shhht) I thought the idea was really fun and I am pretty sure AidaIro didn't choose an old man for the past, a young man for the present and a kid for the future for nothing :))

Kyo is just way too pure for this underworld they just don't understand XDD they feel like they need to protect him (and yeees I still wanted him to be like super blunt but in a happy way now XD)

And I am happy to see you like the ideas with Mei and Sousuke too aaaah

What's important to know is indeed what is the Minamotos role. They are descendant of the god of lighting who is the one who decided to banned some gods in the underworld and have the duty to protect the near shore. Yorimistu is the one who decided to give all this reincarnation job to the underworld, promising that if they behaved and did a good job the ancient beings there will be offered a day or two in the near shore sometimes to see the sun.

Teru and Kou are the sons of the Minamoto chief and have learned all their lives how to get rid of supernaturals who end on Earth sometimes (it kinda work as Tartarus in the greek mythology, the monsters never die they just come back after some times). So they are still exorcists in this au.

And they will get involved into this mess because some reports said that several souls never got to reincarnate properly despite being able to go to the After Life city. So they will have to go in it as a official trip between the two shores (because the dad doesn't have the time to go). Hanako is the one who is in charge of keeping touch with them and he HATES them (and if you read the stuff about Hanako and Tsukasa you definitely know why :')), the feeling is reciprocated.

They don't have that much informations of the far shore, because a lot of books about it got burned several time, a lot of History have been lost between time. So there is a lot of misinformations. They think all the supernaturals there are evil and just trying to get rid of humans. When they wil get ready to go as 'princes' of the Near shore, they will be accompagnied by an Akane girl who said want to act as their guards (with one of her friend, who is only human but will just send a kind of flying robot to go there (that's Lemon, I just wanted him in this au yep that's all so he has a robot yes don't ask)). Since the Akane and Minamotos Family have a long history together they will accept. (You all get that this is Aoi, but she wants to go there definitely not to protect the Minamotos but to take care of some personal business :) and Lemon is here because he is her best friend)

One of the big misinformation the Minamotos have are about the relationships between the Akane, the Katakuri (I will call them this since I have no idea what is his last name) and the Minamotos. In the recent texts it is said that they are special families who always worked together, so Kou and Teru believe that. But this is absolutely false. Several centuries prior, the Minamotos (still not having the right history because the stuff between the Gods happened millenials ago, only some people from the Far shore know the truth) afraid of the increasing number of supernaturals, started to use humans sacrifices to appease the Far Shore. It didn't really work but they didn't stop. They only stopped once Yorimistu was here and started to give a real jobs to the Far Shore (they didn't have this reaincarnate job before him) Only two were able to stay in the far shore at this time, Sumire and Katakuri who were raised as sacrifices all their life. Their hatred of the Minamotos and the humans were what got the attention of Shinigami who offered them to stay as supernaturals to help him. Even if it had been centuries they are still really angry about their human situations :)) and will deifinitely use what they can to make the Minamotos pay for what they did.

Sakura is waiting for someone to take her place as the next princess to then become the queen. That's what the previous queen did with her. Normally the Lords know this because this procedure already happened, but they don't have the best memories having lived for millenials in the dark for some. Only some remember but they aren't the ones who will talk :)) (and I let you guess who she is really waiting for ahah)

And for Akane that's exactly as I said, He didn't get declared dead because he went missing :) He indeed took the attention of Mirai and Kako but when he was alive I let you guess what happened after (you can go check Part 1 if you want there is some info there eheh 👀👀)

Kyo is sure that he will be able to feel other things than being just happy all the time if he finds the key of his lock. He learned that locks are meant to protect something so he wants to find the key (he is kinda simple minded ahah)

Hanako want the rest of the Lords to work together I am pretty sure you can understand what for with all the infos now 👀 The gates between the near and far shore are rarely opened for everyone (some supernaturals can go there but not that much, Mirai and Kako can, Tsuchi can too but never go and Yako too but she doesn’t care either. And they have tons of paperworks to fill and all/ they are considered the least dangerous of the Lords so that's why) but since the Minamotos will need to come to check some things, they will have to be opened at least twice :))

Guillermo thought material perfection didn’t exist, until his eyes fell upon the midnight drapes peeking from inside a window display. He knew that this cape had to belong to his master. The moment he caressed the fabric between his fingers, he was sure that the grey and white embroidered appliques over a sea of black satin were most appropriate for Nandor. The black lace that decorated the hem and collar of the cape gave it the regal aspect Guillermo had been looking for on a late Victorian piece. And the silver clasp closures with the leaf motifs were in pristine condition. Honestly, the goods you could sometimes find at charity shops was obscene. Without thinking twice about it, he took it off the dress form, bought it, and went next door to look for the classiest gift bag and creepiest of crêpe paper in a fit of giggles. Back home, once Guillermo was pleased with the outcome of his gift’s presentation, he decided to get ready for the waking of his master and the rest of the vampires in celebration of the blood full moon later that evening. Was it coincidental that the blood full moon fell on Valentine’s day this year? Perhaps, perhaps not…but all Guillermo knew was that his excitement for the celebration knew no bounds.

Once everyone was finally up and ready for the “romantic” feeding festivities, Guillermo had a spur of energy to fetch his present immediately. He speeds to his bedroom and grabs the large, matte black and charcoal striped paper bag from his bed, fluffs up the mahogany paper and brings it into the sitting room.

To Guillermo’s dismay, however, Nandor’s face began to look sour as he saw him approach the group.

“Master, this is for you.” Guillermo presents the gift with a pleasant grin. “I think it will be to your liking.”

Nandor looks from Guillermo’s spectacled face to the louring faces of the other three vampires in the room. “Guillermo.” He starts, holding the ‘o’ in his usual manner. “What is this about?” Nandor doesn’t sound very delighted, and Guillermo takes a step back before answering.

“It-it’s a gift. I bought it just for you.” He heard a hint of snickering from behind, but refused to look over his shoulder at the others.

“I don’t want you buying any suspicious things for me, Guillermo!”

“But…I even got creepie paper for-”

Suddenly, the bag is smacked off of his hands and the cape partially spills when the bag makes contact with the floor.

“I’ll have none of it, Guillermo. Please don’t bother me on this important night.” Nandor almost hissed at him, but seemed to keep his composure. Unbeknownst to Guillermo however, was Nandor peeking at the metal clasps of the cape with major intrigue. All Guillermo saw was Nandor’s decision against softening his ego to avoid judgement from his housemates. He quickly retrieved the bag from the floor and stormed out of the living room before Nadja or her dollie could make any cheeky comments about his feelings.

Guillermo basically stumbles towards his bedroom, afraid that the tears might fall from his eyes whilst in the presence of the other housemates. He doesn’t like appearing weak in front of anyone, much less showcasing his broken feelings through watering eyes and salted cheeks. Guillermo quickly tosses the gift bag onto his bed without turning the lights on. At the moment, he really doesn’t care where it landed or if the cape gets ruined; he only hears the clasp hit the wall, so he sits on the edge of the bed with his hands over his face. He does his best at keeping most of the tears inside, and successfully manages to grunt only a little. The knot in his throat is not a good reminder of what just happened, but it will suffice in ensuring that the rage remains with him until the vampires come back from their “celebration”. In fact, Guillermo realises he too should be part of the celebration. So he quickly wipes the small trickling tears that made it onto his cheeks, and goes to turn on the small desk lamp. He thinks ‘To hell with it!’ and grabs the cape out of the bag. In his mind he’s placing that cape rather roughly over his shoulders, but in reality he’s handling it with extreme precaution. It fits odd in some places, but quite comfortably in others. As he looks in the mirror, shape draped in black and completely swallowed by the nightly sheen of the satin, he starts picturing himself just running across the residence, jumping around like in the most frivolous action scenes in movies. The crew will be too busy outside filming the vampires doing their stupid shenenigens. He can stay home and pretend like the good old days. You know, like the time he first saw Antonio Banderas in Interview with a Vampire that inspired him to dress up like a vampire as a kid himself. Or those good times like when Nandor used to lift him up and…pretend like he was flying. Or when he’d actually carry and fly him around the city. Some felt like just yesterday, and…in fact just last week Nandor had let him kiss his neck and dig his stubby teeth on it. Even if there was no blood gushing out, Guillermo liked to pretend. He would suckle on that spot for hours if he could; the red mark would never appear on Nandor’s neck to denounce their sins and hidden desires. No one could tell, and it was just perfect.

Everything had been just perfect. So why did Nandor have to hiss at him and let him rot with his feelings? It’s not like Guillermo wanted to call attention to their secret relationship; he knows how much they’ve tried hiding already. He was just being nice…bearing a gift was commonplace for a familiar, right?

Guillermo didn’t quite catch the moment he had come down to his knees, but he was currently balling, and didn’t know when the tears had started coming. He just wanted to show Nandor his appreciation. He just wanted to show him how much it meant to him that he’d finally said Yes. After all these years. If he wasn’t allowed to become a vampire yet, this was the next best thing, and it made Guillermo yearn for the secret to just see the light of day. It wasn’t fair. Why would his master be so mean? And after all the feelings they shared the other night! And the confessions…ah!

The confessions.

The thought of his master being ashamed of him brought Guillermo to hop back onto his bed. He no longer wanted to run around the house. His feelings were making him tired. ‘Why is he being a jerk?’ was the last thing to cross his mind as he almost felt dizzy enough to fall asleep; cozied up with the cape still around his neck. It was softer than he remembered, and he wished it smelt of Nandor…but it didn’t. Maybe it never would.

Throughout the Blood Full Moon feasting, Nandor came to realise he wasn’t enjoying himself as he should…or as he often had so many times before whilst celebrating this dumb holiday some humans call Valentino’s Day. He’s still not sure who Valentino is and why they celebrate the fucking guy by sharing chocolate. Before leaving the host’s house, he laid eyes upon one of those silly heart-shaped boxes and decided to nick it when no one was watching.

Colin Robinson had tried making some conversation with him, but too many thoughts clouded his nogging so he decided to just let him ramble on while they walked back home.

Once there, he waits no more than a minute for his housemates to rest or busy themselves with useless activities; so Nandor takes the opportunity to sneak into Guillermo’s bedroom. He walks trepidatiously inside and spots the precious familiar washed by a soft light, laying over his bed like the princess from that one fairytale…sleeping and draped in some silky and frivolous fabric. He looks so peaceful, but when Nandor approaches he notices furrowing lines and reddening shade adorning Guillermo’s fragile face. He must have cried himself to sleep, for his eyeglasses still frame his face and Nandor feels like quite the monster. He sits on the floor, oh so very close to Guillermo’s face and starts to lace his fingers through those luscious curls. He lays the stupid heart-shaped box on the floor with his free hand, and brings it to the bed so he can rest his chin upon it, gazing dreamily into Guillermo’s half-lidded eyes.

Oh.

“Hello, sleepy head.” Nandor tries to sound cheery and calm. “I didn’t mean to wake you.”

“Wh-what are you doing?” Guillermo starts to rustle about within the cape, tightly wound over his limbs.

“I was just passing by, making sure you were okay.” He stops rubbing Guillermo’s head. “And perhaps hoping you would forgive me?” Nandor throws those puppy eyes at Guillermo.

“M-master…” Guillermo sits up, and suddenly Nandor puts the heart-shaped box over his nose and mouth. He hears a slight gasp come from Guillermo’s mouth, so he takes out a rose as well, in hopes that it will surprise him some more. That makes Guillermo giggle a bit, and he accepts the items: “Did you take this from the front yard?” He says childishly with a smile.

“Noooo…Guillermooo. Why would you think I’d do such a thing?” He gives Guillermo a cheeky smile in return. Nandor could be a little cheap sometimes, but he was improving. And honestly, it was the thought that counted over anything in Guillermo’s eyes.

They share a warm chuckle, and Guillermo puts the items down to finally unwrap the cape off his body so he can present it to Nandor. He makes sure to cover his entire face when extending the cape; he’s nervous at the moment and dealing with this again is too much for him.

He hears an audible gasp from his master, and the cape is quickly taken from his hands, revealing the shy smile that slowly turns to a sorrowful one. As the grogginess of the nap leaves Guillermo’s body, he starts to remember how upset he’d been earlier that evening. He’s still not quite sure if a rose and a box of chocolates is enough to make up for–

Nandor was hugging him. His dork of a fucking boyfriend climbed up the bed and had him wrapped up in his strong arms. Guillermo thought he could blow up right about now.

“How dare you buy me the most amazing gift ever.” Nandor softens his threat with a kiss on Guillermo’s temple. “But mostly, how dare you do it in front of everyone…” Nandor breaks the embrace and looks directly into Guillermo’s deep eyes. “I’m very sorry I threw your gift on the floor.” He brushes a curl back in place with his firm fingers. “I’m still afraid of the other vampires seeing us. They’ll get suspicious…and…that thought sort of frightens me. Could you ever forgive me for that?”

Guillermo’s eyes got watery again, but he was tired of crying. He hugs Nandor this time instead.

“Of course, master.” He sniffles a bit. “I know I’m getting a bit impatient, but it’s difficult to not show my appreciation for you.” Nandor is drawing circles on his back. “Perhaps you can make it up to me at some point.”

“You silly boy.” Nandor says before going to kiss Guillermo’s neck tenderly. He pushes his body towards Guillermo, making the boy lay down, and proceeds to cover them both under that satin cape. “Only the best cuddles for my best boy.” They both kiss tenderly in the comfort of darkness, clueless to the fact that they’ve crushed the (hopefully empty) chocolate box in the act.

Thoughts on 12.4? I know it wasn't like a "Lucifer and Sam" episode, but when I watched the episode recently, I couldn't help noticing how tense Sam seemed through the whole thing. Every time Magna (Madgna? I can't remember XD) was called "the Devil" he'd just freeze up and look nauseous. The PTSD was so very there here. Your thoughts?

12.04 Final Thoughts

All SPN episodes are Lucifer’n’Sam episodes if you try hard enough ;) That being said, you don’t gotta try too hard in this one!

Sam defending Vince Vincente is great. Sam, I love your taste in music as much as I love your sartorial choices.

Also, Lucifer choosing a musician that Sam likes... lmaoooo. Intentional? probably not consciously, but it’s hilarious that Sam has to wonder. 

Mary has left. On the nose: what’s best for a family is split them up. She’s texting with Dean, but pointedly not Sam.

Both Sam and Dean begin suspicious of the family, but once Dean hears about their ~family values~ Dean is much, much happier to buy into their framing. He’s ready to accept any weirdness in a family as long as it was meant to keep them together. 

Sam’s reticence turns into open hostility. He cannot restrain his anger, not with everything he knows and everything he’s been through. “God doesn’t care what kind of live you live. God didn’t kill your daughter. You did.” There’s a lot of contempt and bitterness in his tone, but—none of it is directed towards Chuck. Sam is angry at these people for trying to deflect responsibility. He is angry that they are trying to dodge their guilt.

Having recently met SPN God, Sam finds this idea existentially comforting, that Chuck was extremely underwhelming. He isn’t some grand and ineffable arbiter of morality. Sam has struggled for so long with his feelings of impurity, and uncleanliness, and innate evil, and the need for redemption, and with guilt over having Transgressed… it’s a relief for him to realize that Chuck is not, in fact, someone who judges him, or someone he needs to prove his worth to. The world simply is, and God simply is, and the universe isn’t his judge. And I think this plays into the relative equanimity with which Sam accepts Chuck’s reveal in 14.20: Sam has already realized and accepted God’s mundanity.

Dean just wants to murder this poor Wiccan. Like, what if she’s said she liked her new job? Would Dean have summarily killed her because of her spiritual practices? Dean gets frustrated often about wanting to have one straightforward day on the job, but, uh. Dean. You guys are vigilante killers. You need to hold yourself to HIGH STANDARDS.

Sam’s CPS sweater looks so SOFT.

Lucifer is really present in this episode. The overt religion, the way that Magda’s family has told herself that she’s the devil, the torture, the castigation and guilt. Equating forgiveness and penance with pain and punishment is very Sam-coded. Gail says that she’s tried to keep the Devil locked away, that Magda’s “our cross to bear.” Sam locked away, Magda locked away, both of them suffering, both of them burdens to their family. 

Sam’s protectiveness here is so gut-wrenching. He is terrified for Magda, he is heartbroken and furious at what’s been done to her, not just in body, but what she’s been made to believe about herself. I’ve got Dad!Sam on the brain and my heart, it hurts. 

“Pain purges sin.” “No it doesn’t.” This is a lesson hard-learned. It’s a new perspective from what Sam said in 7.04 about the pain relieving his guilt. A healthier one and a much more tired one: I think it speaks to the way Sam’s coping mechanisms have moved on from the blatant denial and violent, white-knuckled I’M FINE of season 7, to the quieter, more melancholy and reserved way that Sam just fades back in later seasons.  

Sam talking about being psychic! I’m kinda totally fine with Sam choosing in late seasons to totally reject his psychic stuff? a somewhat unpopular opinion I think, but I don’t think of it as a dropped or forgotten storyline. I think it makes a lot of sense for Sam to not want to touch that part of himself, a part that he knows, innate or not, was seeded and manipulated by Ruby and Lucifer. Dean’s judgment is also tied queasily into the whole thing, of course, but even without that element Sam has tons of good reasons to disown it.

Sure was weird that the last few seconds of this episode got cut off. So strange. Anyway, I’m glad Magda is doing well in her new home.

A3.Do they have any emotional or psychological conditions? Are they aware of it? Do they try to treat it?

Shawty got that stockholm syndrome in a way. She is…. Sometimes aware of it, though she wouldn't call it that any more. Maybe at first in the basement she was more aware, but now that she can come and go she thinks its a thing of the past. tries not to dwell on it. Kind of in a “well its literally not that bad its kind of fun its kind of romantic were just quirky <3” way, will get mad if someone insists she has stockholm or that the relationship is fucked. Will get enraged and upset on Vincent's behalf, probably cry and yell at you.

A22. Is your OC intended to be found generally attractive? Unattractive? Average? Is there a reason why?

I intended her to be fairly average, maybe kind of cute. It's generally the way she dresses/acts in public that draws attention, not her looks. I tend to make most of my ocs on the average scale besides a select few.

C5. Do your OC’s morals and rules of common decency go out the window when it comes to those they don’t like, or when it’s inconvenient? Aka, are their morals situational?

Good question…. Jillys morals are pretty simple- always be kind and nice, murder and hurting other people is bad, and you shouldnt lie. She sticks to those pretty strictly herself despite the situations she gets put in, often to her own detriment. But she doesn't always put a stop to those behaviors from the people she surrounds herself with, so she's sort of accomplice to bad acts of violence just by not snitching. So somewhat situational? She tries not to think about it.

D3. How comfortable are they with the idea of death?

Not comfortable! She hadn't seen a lot of it before her early twenties and was always sort of sheltered. dead fish are flushed down the toilet bcs they go to the ocean to live again, right? Thought cows and such all died of old age peacefully before they were made into burgers until she was like… twelve. 💀Won't kill mice and other critters despite her prey drive bcs she would feel too bad. And this is just for animal death, she's much more uncomfortable with human death. Also a thing she tries to ignore.

F3. Could they ever live in a “tiny home”?

God no. She hates small spaces unless she's hiding in them and tiny homes have no room for all the shit she stashes! No room for zoomies, or climbing on the furniture, or wrestling around on the floor. It would be filled with junk within a week.

A18. Do they get jealous easily? Do they feel bad if they do?

He's never had much to be jealous of, as he's never really been over involved in romantic relationships. They were usually mutually beneficial and somewhat clinical in nature. Hes also pretty sure of himself and his value as an asset and lover. If he finds someone who peaks his interest and they become an item though, he might get jealous if he catches them flirting with other people. Hell be peeved at first but know flirtation in business has its value, so to make himself feel better might flirt with someone else while they are nearby. Make a game of it, see who wins.

A23. Does your OC place much importance on their appearance? Do they feel confident in it?

Appearances are crucial to him and spends a lot of time and money making sure he looks his best. He needs to appear above the rabble and impenetrable, dressing well and having immaculate posture and an air of both grace and otherworldliness.

B9. What kind of humor does your OC like the most? Slapstick, ironic, funny sounds, scare pranks, xD sO rAnDoM…

Definitely not one to find fart jokes funny. Very rarely laughs genuinely or full heartedly, he keeps all his expressions of emotion close to his chest. Sharp sardonic wit is appealing to him in the right circumstances, even a jab directed at himself can make him chuckle if it's well formed enough. Irony almost always gets him, even if its dark irony or gallows humor. Bit of a hard nut to crack. Would laugh enough that hed have to cover his mouth with his hand if he were to see Felix fall face first into mud, though. More often than not you can tell he finds something amusing by a gleam in his eyes and a slight squint.

C1. Does your OC have a moral code? If not, how do they base their actions? If so, where does it come from, and how seriously do they take it?

Well he used to have a real moral code :/. Now I mean…. The ends justify the means. By any means necessary. He considers his family's needs first, then the good of the world, then any individual in the world. Nirn tends to be a very thoughtful and attentive person in general, just for the wrong reasons lmaoooo. But with a lover? He's going to be utilizing that to show them how much he cares and using his powers for good. Mention you like a certain fabric while shopping one time and then complain your favorite tunic has a wine stain in it several months later, he's going to be taking your measurements for a new one in your preferred material without a moment's notice. Very keen on picking up moods, expressions and tone. Also has a very good memory. He doesn't really think about it but gifts are how he shows his love. Also a great attentive listener.

A5. Are they good at handling change in their life?

I would say so, yeah. Shes been used to things constantly changing since she was little and has had little to no control on outside influences. Shes also not one to over think about the past and lament, shes more of a one foot in front of the other, the only time is the present kind of gal. Of course large changes like becoming a warden were a bit more severe, but shes mostly able to think in the present as long as she has immediate problems to deal with.

B9.What kind of humor does your OC like the most? Slapstick, ironic, funny sounds, scare pranks, xD sO rAnDoM…

Slapstick is always gonna make her laugh as long as nobody gets seriously hurt, even if its her own ass tripping into a tree. Not a fan of scare pranks, 0/10 recommend trying to scare Thurwen. You will end up with a broken nose at best and an angry elf. Likes puns, but she's the one to groan at them and try and hide the grin spreading across her face. Gallows humor but only if its her in the gallows, otherwise doesn't find it funny at all. If a little kid calls someone a fartcicle she will be tears in the eyes giggling, which is hard when your warden commander and everyone looks toward you to be serious and mature gyshsdhdfsghsd.

C8. Is your OC more practical or ideal morally? I.e., do they hold people to high expectations of behavior even if it’s not realistic for the situation, or do they have a more realistic approach and adapt their morality to be more practical?

She definitely holds herself to moral ideals and is very hard on herself, but has realistic moral expectations for others. She can understand self serving and people only wanting to survive and she will only give people a little bit of shit for it, no one's perfect. But then she expects herself to be perfect and berates herself constantly for not living up to the hero of ferelden warden commander ideals.

D1. How religious is your OC? What do they practice, if anything? If they don’t associate with any religion, what do they think of religion in general?

Atheist ever since her mom died when she was a kid, but now Shes in a weird mixed state ever since the urn of sacred ashes where shes like. fuck the maker, but Andraste is cool I guess. So respects/believes in the power of Andraste while thinking the maker is a piece of shit and the chantry sucks ass. Even she doesnt know what she really believes, but she did see the ghosts of Andrastes disciples and Shartan, used her ashes as healing salve, killed an old god, etc. So shes been in a weird place recently, crisis of faith/non faith pretty continual.

I5. Are they a good cook?

I mean…. She can cook basics. Shes been feeding herself and the alienage kids since she was old enough to walk so she knows how to get protein and make things edible. Does it taste good? Probably not. She didnt see her first spice till she was 17 years old, but she can skin a rabbit in seven seconds.

She tries to excuse bad behavior of herself or others a lot, yeah fgdgdsfhdhs. Mostly she doesnt have to make excuses for herself because she can wholeheartedly be like “yeah i fucked up but whatever im sexy and large and awesome and everyone loves me 🙄whatever baby” and when other people fuck up shes pretty sympathetic even though they are not as large nor as sexy. Shes very used to forgiving and excusing herself its totally alien to her when she really fucks up and is suddenly like wait… valkya…. Did bad?? What is this feeling. Shame?? Guilt?? IMPOSSIBLE.

A13. Does your OC have any phobias? If so, where did they come from?

She hates those giant bugs in morrowind and valenwood a whole fucking lot but I wouldnt exactly place it as a phobia. Those huge mosquitoes and haorvers got no respect but she really hates the morrowind bugs ever since they knocked her over and jumped her while she was pants down peeing drunk as hell in the sand :/ never forgave. Never forgot.

C1. Does your OC have a moral code? If not, how do they base their actions? If so, where does it come from, and how seriously do they take it?

She was raised in a healthy household that tought the basics, prety much “harming others needlessly, stealing, torture, rape, dessecrating the dead, being selfish and not doing right by others, etc etc all basic bad things” are her morals. Her morality is basically treat others how you want to be treated. And if they treat you badly, then have fun beating the shit out of them to show everyone else not to fuck with you. Its a pretty nordic morality in that way. Her morality is also since she was ‘blessed’ with being so large and strong, that she has to also look out for the little guy who cant protect themselves. So If someone treats them how valkya wouldn't want to be treated, then beat the shit out of the person harming them to show them the little guys got backup. Her parents raised her to be a hero and thats p much how she sees herself, which has its benefits and its fuckin problems.

E8. What’s one of your OC’s biggest regrets?

Fucking up Dem and Dariens relationship for sure dude :/ valkya always gonna be sulking over that one. She doesnt regret becoming a vestige, even though it would have made her so much happier not to be because it ended up saving so many people and the world. She regrets not spending more time with Naryu, regrets always having other life saving business she had to run off to, regrets not cherishing the time they had together. Regrets not telling Lyris how she feels, either. Regrets not being able to save as many people as she should have, regrets she wasnt stronger in coldharbor and didnt break out herself. But she tries not to think about it <3

G6. Do they have any favorite childhood memories?

When she was seven she once spent two months training to hold her breath underwater, because her cousin always held it longer and won the gold bet. She trained for hours almost drowning in the river until she could comfortably hold it for up to three minutes. During the next holiday when they all got together again the competitions were on and they both went under- her cousin won, holding their breath for four more minutes before they decided to come up. This was the first lesson she learned that shocked her world view- you always need to know your opponents capabilities. (after she lost 26 gold in the bets, her mother later had to inform her that her cousin was an argonian.)

Okay so for how I see the AOT characters being as group project partners. Sorry if this isn't at all helpful. Lol Armin- Will gather up all the information.... literally so much information it would be a clusterfuck.

Mikasa- Will be trying to keep everyone on task...

Connie- Will be a dumbass. Will spend most of the time goofing off.

Sasha- will be eating the snacks Historia brought....and will be goofing off with Connie. (They would be such bad group project partners but they'd be fun. :) )

Eren- Would try to organize the notes and various points of the project and would get frustrated. (Stuff a muffin in his mouth and he might calm right down. Either that or give him some weed and he'd chill out.)

Historia- Would bring snacks to group project sessions where you were all together... Would bring enough for the entire building.

Annie- Wouldn't contribute much.

Bertholdt- Would be too nervous to contribute so he might speak up sometimes but most of the time.

Reiner- Would keep on task while sneaking glances at you to see if you're impressed with his ideas.

Ymir- Would secretly contribute by sneaking things into the project (if possible) when no-one was looking but would otherwise be a wise crack.

Erwin- Like Armin would give too much information. But he'd try to give them in as orderly of a fashion as he could.

Miche- Would mostly go along with what you say and think but if he had a strong will to do something specific...would bring it up.

Hange- Has so many ideas.... They explode out of them possibly all at once. Does at least four projects worth of work.

Levi- Tries to act nonchalant he would half-heartedly contribute but would make sure you always are getting enough rest and are taking care of yourself....while also stealing the project notes and making changes discreetly.... Like I could see him going over your class notes while he was doing his discreet 'contributing'. And if it was a presentation type group project he'd probably make all the slides.

Which brings me to something I was thinking about. Initially I was gonna have a post where Alec would need to present himself and his family at the Tokyo Institute, as a courtesy, Institute head to Institute head. And Magnus would need to present himself before the High Warlock of Tokyo. But I have no idea what the Shadow World is even like in Japan, since it’s not really detailed in the books. Is their Institute disguised in a shinto/buddhist shrine, the way NYC’s is in a cathedral? Does it like look like a dojo inside, or is it sci-fi, too? Or both! And do Japanese Shadowhunters use traditional martial arts to fight demons? (I swear I was thinking of Bleach’s shinigami in the Soul Society the whole time.)

Top three cuisines? uhhhh..... italian, hungarian and..... i don’t actually have a third hdgfhsd can i just generally say that ‘asian’? tbh i tried like 3-4 dishes from various asian countries which imo is way less than enough to choose a fave, and there’s also a lot more i’d like to try sometime... but my city doesn’t have many places to go to, and the only “chinese” restaurant we have is a cheap ripoff which never served a proper chinese dish in their life.... ordered from there twice, beforehand researching each dish i ordered and let me tell u.... they weren’t even close to what they were supposed to be......

8.  What’s a job that you’ve had that people might be surprised to find out you’ve had?  i once worked at a strip club..... no, not as a stripper, i was a waiter/bartender, and honestly i wouldn’t even mind talking about it if the place wasn’t shady as fuck.... one of the national tv stations even made a full time documentary series about all the illegal shit that’s going down there..... but i never really did any unconventional jobs so there’s nothing fancy, but if i were to tell stories about what i’ve encountered during my ordinary jobs...... oh boi.......

18.  What’s that one TV show that you’re a little bit embarrassed to watch but you still like nonetheless?  okay so i’m probably not gonna rewatch it ever again, but... when i was a kid there was this german series on tv and it was called medicopter 117.... so in exam season i realized that as a kid i never got to finish it so i decided to rewatch... listen, it’s a 1997 series... but damn it was actually better than some of the crap ppl call tv show now....... not gonna rewatch tho, some moments and plotlines were frustrating as fuck

20.  Do you match your socks? yes! but only because i either have them all black (which will match anyway) or funky colorful fruit patterned ones that look a bit much even on their own so i wouldn’t really wanna mix’n’match those in fear they would just look tacky as fuck

28.  What’s one thing you’re trying to learn/relearn in your downtime right now? i’m actually trying to get better with some overwatch heroes i never learned before... since the lockdown started i got a lot better with snipers and i1m actually pretty proud of it
