kind of love how in lone wolf Daniel focuses on psychological torture and in blood brothers Daniel focuses on physical violence.

like in lw Daniel is very clearly capable of disposing of all three dickheads in a heartbeat, but he forces the one with the gun to experience the helplessness of losing total control, something lw Daniel knows all too well. and then instead of forcing him to pull the trigger, he does the arguably more ruthless thing of letting the guy live, leaving him with the psychological trauma (something Daniel also knows very well) of almost being forced to fucking kill himself. notable, he also leaves the guy physically capable of getting up and shooting him, showing off his unprotected back--he's arrogant enough to think/know he's untouchable, yes, but he also doesn't seem to care that much if the guy actually manages to turn on him and grab the advantage, or come back later for revenge later on

but in bb it's the exact opposite, Daniel doesn't waste (much) time fucking around with any of the attackers and prefers to physically fuck up the guy's gun arm in a way that looks very painful and quite possibly permanent. he prefers to focus on stopping the bullet when it comes to showing off, rather than employing a more violating body control--it's about proving power, not cruelty. He watches the attackers leave instead of the other way around, maintaining the security of their base. Their base, because Sean is still alive, because Daniel has something to really fight for, which makes him much more effectively brutal than his lw counterpart. his focus is all on maintaining his and Sean's survival and that makes him at once less sadistic and far more physically destructive.

idk, I just love the ways that these endings highlight the different ways low morality Daniel views himself and his power while still proving he's ruthless whether or not Sean lives. he's my fucked up homicidal little baby boy.

while kuukou has the ability to mesh with anyone, i still imagine his interactions with saru would go just about as well as terra trying to get saru to do anything lmao

but who knows???? maybe saru’s extreme end tsundere-ness will unlock the evil side of kuukou’s people reading skills and is about to play saru like a fiddle to be his friend LOL

ok but. with meoto aizo’s ✨demon reveal✨ one of his lines in the first verse kinda makes sense now?

i did think that it was kinda weird that he said 「同情もない」 before he and meoto yujiro got married. which y’know, kinda funny choice considering the other time he used 同情 was when he gave mona that umbrella out of pity that day in the rain

but with the reveal, i guess local demon aizo just couldn’t find it in himself to muster up some pity for the poor human sacrifice who was to be wedded to him

and he chose to fall in love with her instead, i guess, so who’s the real winner here?

I’m finally awake and I’ll be finishing my drafts in a bit, but I REALLY wanted to knock out some HC’s for drakes main verses that I reallly feel the need to throw down because I really wanted to get across WHY Drake is such an asshole / rude to other people in his Misfits verse because there’s literally a reason why he as an 12 nearly 13 year old is out here disrespecting people and all around has this ‘leave me the fuck alone’ attitude.

The youth perks up immediately the moment they speak to him. Eyes wild in a widened expression as if he hadn't anticipated being spoken to. Fingers curl into tight fists for a short period of time, heart pounding within his chest. Still, he had been the one to follow them to begin with, so he truly shouldn't be so surprised. Koga's hardly the one to sit back in an admiration; he wants to be right there in the face of it all.

While the older's back on campus for the time before heading off once again? He wants to get noticed even more than before. Still, he finds it difficult to relax. Puff up of his chest. "I wasn't staring..! Yeah... There's a difference between admirin' and staring! I... brought you some water, Sakuma-senpai. The weather's been gettin' hotter, so it's always good to stay hydrated."

Koga thrusts the bottle forward, a sparkle in the depths of golden eyes out of a hopeful expectancy. 'Please take the bottle' is almost what's his eyes are saying. At their next inquiry out of realization, that childish delight on his features immediately takes a shift as the younger sharpens his expression. "Haah--? I'm definitely not one of them groupies. I'm different from those assholes! Yes, I'm... on my own! Ain't needin' anyone else! Like.. a lone wolf! My name's Koga! Oogami Koga!"

𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐔 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 ~

- Vash Saverem : Age 20. Plant Engineer & track star. He got a full-ride scholarship along with his brother Nai. Started a band with his friend Wolfwood. (lead singer & bass guitarist) Doesn't have his license because he never passed his driving test. He basically walks everywhere unless he can get a ride from Wolfwood or Meryl. Favorite hang-out spots are the bakery, the coffee shop, & the track.

- Nicholas D. Wolfwood : Age 22. Dropped out of beauty school to help his brother pay for & run their childhood orphanage. Nico washes hair at the salon & is a guitarist in Vash Saverem's band. His main means of transportation is his motorcycle. He's very street-smart & feeds the neighborhood stray cats & dogs.

- Genjo Sanzo : Age 23. A biblical & theology major. He's not too passionate about this choice of study but was inherited the Sanzo title from his late adopted father, so a lot is expected of him. Despite being a trust fund kid he's down to earth but a loner. When he's not on campus he can be found smoking on his apartment porch or browsing the nonfiction section of the local bookstore. (he never buys anything though)

- Vergil Sparda : Age 25. An adjunct professor of Medieval literature. He's considered prissy or stuck-up compared to his carefree twin, but the guy is overworked & lonely. In his spare time, he collects & refurbishes artifacts. He pays child support for his son who was a result of a teen pregnancy. When the mother left Vergil gave his son up for adoption to the Fortuna family, because he believes they provide him a better life.

- Mizu : age 19. An exchange student from Japan who lives with a host family. Mizu is a Sociology major & trained mixed martial artist & boxer. They practice at the dojo regularly & do odd jobs on the side, participating in several boxing matches for money. Can be found around the dojo, the gym, & the coffee shop.

D Dracul : Age 20. A Demonology major that minors in psychology. He wants nothing to do with his rich, high-status father & does many odd jobs to support himself, his education, & his stoner twin. This includes Uber, Door Dash, & picking up shifts at the mom & pop hardware store. D is an all-around friendly guy. Kinda dresses goth/hisper-like & is very quiet.

HEADCANON. Sam largely prefers the company of animals—-moreso in her P5 verse than her other verses. While no, she would not like to be stuck in a cage with a tiger ( or a wolf, or a very, very angry hippo ), she sometimes feels safer in their presence than with people. Yes, they can still hurt her. But sometimes that hurt is a consequence of her own actions, or a product of their own nature. People, on the other hand? Well... They're not like that—-not from what she's experienced.

Animals are honest. Easy to read.

People aren't.

okay so this is probably a post i should have made about k when i initially added them to my roster ( summer 2022, wow time flies sdkljfs ), but…let’s just say when it comes to the relationship between yohan and k, i headcanon that k ( ga-ram ) has romantic feelings for yohan, has for a very long time, and still isn’t quite over him.

( spoilers for 'the de*vil jud*ge down below! )

main reason for this is that ga-ram was young and impressionable when they initially met yohan and bc yohan was the only person at the time who could understand & relate to that rage and need for revenge….and ga-ram latched onto yohan HARD. yohan basically taught them how use anger ( aka repression and put into the plan instead ). literally put him up on a pedestal and thought he could do no wrong for a certain period of time. and while in the series it’s shown that yohan is very charismatic and manipulative, i don’t think he meant to have his plan take up at least 10 years of ga-ram’s life.

But also in those ten years ( or more ) before ga-on came into yohan’s life, yohan probably saw ga-ram as much of an anchor as much as ga-ram did…there probably was SOME kind of a romantic relationship or at least a friends-with-benefits dynamic between them…the car ride scene where k gives ga-on the advice about not getting too close to yohan, that’s the advice k would have given their younger self. By the time series starts, i would say k and yohan have like…you know that situation where you're single, but you rebound with your ex bc it’s easier to have a one night stand with someone you already know than go and try to find someone new? Yeah that’s kind of what their relationship was like- by then, k wasn’t passionately in love with yohan, but they did love him, even with knowing all his flaws….which is the reason they still stuck around after chang-hee died. 

this is all to say, in my interpretation of k, when they woke up after the fall, they didn’t take any of it well. Like for one thing, the system they and yohan were trying to change? Didn’t change a bit so that makes ga-ram feel like those last ten years were nothing. But also yohan up and running to switzerland and not even telling anyone where he was hiding for the longest time? Well it’s kinda like the main foundation of k’s life has just crumbled and while k does know yohan meant well, keeping this a secret, they can’t help but feel betrayed…yohan did have like a trust fund set up for ga-ram and technically ga-ram does get money ( a lot too ) from that, but they refuse to touch any of it. They refuse to talk to yohan or about him either.

( i will say, i think yohan probably also didn’t tell k for the longest time bc he knew k would follow after him and in yohan’s eyes, k deserves a chance to live their own life and the life would be healthiest without yohan there. )

also since i've been watching twd, here's just some twd hera verse ramblings:

when the turn initially happened, hera and bailey were able to escape. hera did her very best to keep bailey safe and shield her from the horrors of their new world, but one of the greatest lessons im learning in this show: gentle children do not survive. and what is bailey if not the sweetest, loving, most gentlest child... she was not made to live day by day, she does not know how to fight to survive. that's more hera's jam. and so, i'm sorry to break everyone's heart and hera's bailey does not survive.

after losing bailey, hera is a wreck. the fact that she survived after the fact both fills her with guilt and grief. she is reckless and heartbroken and rash with decisions. she often refuses to join other groups but is easier to persuade when she sees children are present. and when things eventually go to shit, she will protect those children with her life, trying to do what she couldn't do for her own baby girl: keep them alive.
