the confession !

the jeanies had settled in a cozy beachside hotel after a long day of filming at the beach. the rest of the girls were worn out, with hanni already slipping into her matching pjs with minji or how haerin waited outside the bathroom for hyein to finish. not danielle, though. she stood by the open balcony, gazing at the shore. the moonlight cast a soft glow on the crashing tides as they met the sand. it was a breathtaking sight, and since danielle had always felt a deep connection to nature, her resolve was restored. but she hated walking alone-- especially at night! if only there was someone to walk along the beach with…

actually, there is someone! you! she immediately sprung out of bed, calling you! she stepped out to make the phonecall. you don't remember much of it... something something.. lets go walk on the beach! ah whatever, what matters the most was that you said yes, and in no time, the two of you were strolling along the shore.

it felt perfect. so perfect, there barely was any small talk needed. the salty breeze ruffling your hair, the water lapping at your feet-- okay wait, to be fair, you hated the sensation of the sand sticking to your feet, but its the way danielle was so content, taking in deep breaths of the ocean breeze, slowly pressing her shoulder against yours.. the intimacy of the moment sends you both into a wave of tranquility. a dog could bite your leg off right now and you wouldn't care.

the words came out spontaneously. i like you, danielle. she halted in her tracks, a stupid little grin on her face as the colors began to paint her cheeks, before she snaps out of it, pouting adorably.

aw... the slight disappointment in her voice made you spout out a panicked apology. she shook her head, insisting it was okay. any lingering bittersweet moment was wiped clean when she buried herself in your arms, hugging you so tightly. you both sway back and forth in the hug as she mumbles an apology herself, for "leading you on" and "being too busy for her to do something".

the intimacy of the moment faded away, with you two being glued to each other as you guys stammer flustered apologies. danielle got lightheaded, pulling away to breathe, only to fall backwards into the cold, salty shore.

you went to help her up, but you paused for a little. it was the way danielle took deep, shaky breaths, letting out a breathy laugh as she gazes into your eyes, her curly bangs half damp, and that gorgeous smile that made all the initial awkwardness fade into obscurity...

your first kiss together was initiated by danielle the day after, when you brought her some brunch while she was filming on set. while sitting by the veranda, a small fan blowing cool air to combat the scorching heat. you playfully wiped her mouth with a tissue, and in return, she kissed you on the lips, both as a thank you and to just to catch you off guard. safe to say, you were a stammering mess as she continued to toy around with you that day, maybe a little punishment for not letting her confess first.

danielle's cuddle drive was a part of her soul. minji used to complain about arm cramps with how much danielle would cling or fall asleep on her shoulder. but that's just with a friend, with you? her significant other? god, did you ever have some space for yourself?

she followed you around constantly like a lost puppy, burying her face in the crook of your neck as you walked, making you half-drag her around. whenever you sat, she would either lay in your lap, on your shoulder, or just straight up sit on your lap! and what's crazier? she's not afraid to do this in front of people! you'd whisper-shout to her, dani- i think i see a camera.. or dani, hey- your members are here... with every complaint, she just nuzzles herself deeper, like a cat rubbing its head against their owner. you stopped complaining- dont pretend like you dont like it!

she loves to be spooned. there are days where she comes home late, so she just wriggles in your sleeping arms. some days, she'll wait up at night until you come back, refusing to sleep without spooning. sometimes she'll sleep while sitting up, so you'd topple her over like a house of cards into your embrace. she can complain about how much you should've warned her first, but you caught her fake sleeping for it once

a cuddle is always followed up with a kiss. and holy- just thinking of danielle kissing you makes you dizzy. she swears she's not that good of a good kisser, how you're her first kiss, but you just cant believe that, especially with how experienced she feels. she knows how to leave you weak in the knees, the way she easily takes over, towering over you, being the one to hold your chin in place as her tongue slips into the kiss... fuuck dude..

she loves to keep her hands busy with you. whether its holding your hands as you two kiss, cupping your face, holding your waist, she just- needs to touch you. you noticed whenever she fidgets a lot, her first instinct is to simply hold your hand or grab at your sleeve, just to keep them full.

a typical morning routine with danielle is like a lazy sunday all around. you leave her in such a state of ambience, to the point she'd cancel plans if it meant you two could cuddle in bed all day. sometimes, you'd have to shake her off you. she's got a good grip, so you lose 70% of the time! when she does get up, she wants to keep you in her sight as much as possible. meaning, while she did her makeup or cook breakfast, she'd get visibly tense and dulls down when she realized you aren't there to admire from a distance, to stand close to her, to have small talk...

speaking of breakfast, she always cooks for you! sure, you cook for her back, but its common when she would tell you to not even bother lifting a finger as she waltzes over to the kitchen, wearing a cute apron and emerging out with a tasty, nutritious breakfast. but it doesnt end at breakfast, she would pack cute lunchboxes for you, dinner, lunch- if she has the energy she would want to cook for you. and hey, the food tastes awesome too! there's no room for complaining.

her unspoken love language is gifts and acts of service. she already has to go away for long periods of time for concerts, shoots, and all that jazz. you can't follow her all the time, so she would make up for the absence with loads of gifts, souvenirs and- anything you want actually! she'd call you a few days before going home, asking you what you want. when she was in paris for their fashion week, she had a day to herself before boarding back home, and with the time differences and your midnight sugar cravings, you said chocolate. say hi to the large boxes of chocolate truffles peering over you from the dinner table the next day!

danielle trusts you, a lot. you see a version of her nobody else gets to see. let that thought sink in, no fan will ever see her like this, no staff will ever- hell, even the members only see a sliver of this vulnerability she shows you.

she's very forgiving. it's not that you go out of your way to wrong her, but there's a time or two where your tone was a little too harsh, or when there had been a misunderstanding between you two. she would always see the good amidst all the bad, and forgives you with a quick peck and a hug. she's not a pushover though, you've seen her, she's not afraid to call out bullshit. and they say the happiest are the scariest when mad. welp, good thing you've been on her good side, aye?

she's not much a planner in the relationship. being an idol, she's used to having a schedule list already prepped and set for her. so whenever there's time for a date, or a vacation, its usually you doing the planning. choosing homestays, vacation spots, reminding danielle to pack up (which she always forgets), and tidying up the home before leaving. danielle, in a bleary trance, would say she turned off the switches in the bedroom, only for you to hear the hairdryer still running across the hall. sigh... at least she settles the vacation finances though!

danielle also insists on paying. all. the. time. it drives you crazy when you walk to the reception at a restaurant to pay, only for the server to look at you weird and say that she already handed the card the moment you two walked in. it was so awkward to explain to friends where you got your designer clothes or how you could afford another lavish meal again. its not like you could tell them you were dating an idol right? wait, speaking of that...

what's it like ?!

it wasn’t that danielle was ever hard to be around-- it was just hard to contain your excitement and keep everything a secret. another shopping spree with danielle? too bad you can't post any of it! you know how sharp-eyed the fans can be. plus, what would you even tell your friends? where would you even explain you got all this money for stuff like this?

but danielle, she’s not that restrictive. sure, she encourages keeping your connection with her private, but she gets your need to show off your relationship. so, you two created a private instagram and twitter account, where there are no boundaries or restrictions. cute selfies, date pics, hauls, and flirting-- it’s all there. you haven’t told anyone about it yet, but some of danielle’s members and a few close friends follow you on their private accounts, so it doesn’t feel like a ghost town.

danielle loves to keep in touch when abroad. she loves to call you. timezones exist, and danielle had promised herself she would check the differences before calling. she's called you when you were too tired to speak, and that left her feeling guilty. but its the way she'd get tense going hours without hearing your voice. she would hesitantly call you, mumbling a small apology before beginning to speak. her voice was so sweet, small, considerate, it could be 2 am, the brink of dawn, the time when you were just about to fall asleep, you'd jolt awake to rush to her side.

your phone calls with her feel almost sacred. danielle’s smile starts to fade after a while, and she finds herself retreating to her sanctuary-- you. when she calls, sometimes you notice that the audio is a little muffled, like she’s locked herself in the dressing room to get away from everything. it breaks your heart into pieces, you wish you were there psychically for her all the time.

i miss you a lot, y/n... can you just tell me about your day? what was for dinner? she would ask, the exhaustion in her voice prominent. you'd smile, gently, as if doing so would send the warmth through the phone. i had some takeout today, honey. nothing too crazy.

dating danielle meant that she would want you as close to her as possible at any given day. one thing she loves to do is to pass you backstage passes. you'd watch the concert from the back with the staff, and danielle will pull you over to her lounge room the moment she hops off stage. she'd pull you in, playfully shoo everyone out, and toss you on the couch as you cuddle close to her.

one thing you love to do is to help her wind down. driving her home, wiping the makeup off her face when she's too tired to walk, setting a hot bath for her, wiping the beats of sweat off her forehead, slowly taking off her jewelry, coats, jackets, scarves, anything, leaving her in the more simple and comfier parts of her stage outfit. danielle usually did all of this by herself, but she asked you to do it once when she was just drop dead exhausted. seeing how tender you were, how meticulous your hands were, how you sparked small talk while doing it, it became a daily habit from that day on.

not to mention, dating a celebrity came with perks you could share with your friends. at first, you didn’t bring it up, worried danielle might get the wrong idea. but when your friend’s birthday rolled around, and they just happened to be in town, you decided to ask danielle if she had any extra vip tickets. sure enough, she did. she was really understanding about it too. so, it became one of your little perks-- hooking your friends up with tickets whenever newjeans was in town. they all think you just know the perfect time to snatch tickets, or you had a lot of discount codes, or you won a giveaway, not that you’re… well, nevermind.

tour de france fanwork classification

not going to list these all individually because there's 20 of them but this was semi-inspired by @mundanememory's droplets idea - wrote for each of the @wtfanworkclassification prompts and limited the word count to the length of the corresponding stage in kilometers. all of them are on both tumblr and ao3. this was insanely hard, much harder than i anticipated it would be when i started because of some irl stuff that was going on at the same time. took me way longer than the actual tour de france - the final work was posted the same day the vuelta started - but i'm very proud of how this turned out. not all the fills are my favorite thing i've ever written but it let me play with a lot of random ideas i'd been fiddling with, so that's fun. what the fuck is a kilometer, baby!

cycling rpf drabble advent calendar fills

when the sun came up (you were looking at me): jonsa/urška, implied ot4 with tadej and trine. domestic fluff for urška's birthday.

and after that, who knows what else?: jonas/mørkøv, soon-to-be inappropriate workplace relationship as if jonas cares

my year in review: ao3 says i published 39 works in 2024 for a total of 17,782 words, which is kind of crazy to me considering the vast majority of what i posted was less than 1k words, including 18 works under 200 words. if we include a few of the bits and bobs i posted unfinished on tumblr (like the trick or treat ask game) then it goes up a bit but probably not by much.

top 3 ships/tags: most common ship was (by far) tadejonas with 16 tags, then matteo/jonas with 4 and a bunch more with two. most common tags: established relationship, 2024 tour de france, and pov second person, which tracks lol. only posted 7 things on ao3 without jonas tagged, and really only 4 of those don't have anything to do with him, so. shrug emoji. i also started (i think?) 5 new ship tags on ao3 so that's fun.

something i'm proud of: generally speaking the to1u fills (especially the matteo/jonas one) and the post-itzulia tadejonas fic are my favorite things i wrote and imo probably the best, probably because i tinkered with those the longest before posting. also proud of the tdf writing project i did, even if i'm not super proud of the individual fics.

writing goals for 2025:

i did a lot of very very short pieces last year which is fine, we write what we can write and i do like the fun challenge of working within word count limits and also just getting things across in fewer words - but i think in 2025 i want to try to focus on posting a few longer things. not like, crazy long - but i didn't post a single thing over 2k last year so we can start there. i've got a few things i've been working on that, if i can get them finished, would ideally be in the 5k-10k range.

i'd also like to try and be a bit better with consistency but i don't really know what that looks like so i don't have a hard and fast goal on that. but posting at least one thing a month is not unreasonable so maybe. we'll see.

not just related to my own writing but i want to be a better fic reader/commentor this year - and also better at replying to comments on my own fics. again, no hard and fast goals but that's something i want to focus on.

god this is so long, i'm so sorry. happy 2025 and here's to another year of rpf'ing around the sun 🫡

17. Hi there. So I'm currently in the mood of reading wangxian AU or canon divergence fics. If possible the fics shouldn't be a short story, and I really, really just want WangXian, other characters may appear or mentioned, but I'm not in the mood of reading other chara's self importance appearance, so yeah just wangxian.

E.g a canon divergence when LWJ took WWX to an exile after the bloodbath in Nightless City, or a scenario where they were in the run, or the post 13 years WangXian just run away and don't give a shit about the revenge drama NHS and JGY are having about, anyway, it must be 90% of the fic, should be about wangxian.

To be more specific, perhaps some canon divergence where wangxian just don't give a shit about the cultivation world? Either before the First siege happen, or post 13 years, but preferably before wwx dying because I think it's a pity for a fine man like YLLaozu to die, lol. Just a pair of husband running away, live in seclusion, feeling discovery, etc.

-She never really took your flirts or pickup lines seriously, always thinking they were just one liners to make her laugh or genuine compliments with was likely frustrating for you.

-More action based flirting works better to get your point across even though she still thanks you for your 'kind gesture'... She's at least starting to understand the point.

Hi, dear anon! I am so so sorry, this request literally has been sitting in my inbox for 2 months and not because I didn’t like it, but for the opposite reason! I’ve been writing and re-writing it many times, and because I tend to go overboard with angst/hurt-comfort stuff when it comes to Vash, it turned out to be just 1000 words of fluff. Yeah, sorry to all the guys who requested fluf and got angst and vice-versa. Seems like I’m not good with requests, maybe will change the submissions to suggestions later. Anyway, hope you’re still somewhere out here nonnie and you can see this! Warnings: mentions of scars and wounds, reader without specific body parts descriptions, Vash calls you a fem!gendered word in french once though, slight pining, fluff

There’s a sudden loud laugh, shuddering of the glasses and the next moment you’re laying face down on the sandy soil in front of the saloon. Your Thomas got freaked out and yeeted you over his head right into the dirt. For real? You’ve felt a sharp unpleasant pain on the left side of your body – your cheek, belly and a part of hip and knee burnt. The inside of your mouth tasted like sand, dirt, and humiliation. You spat and saw particles of blood in your spit. Wincing, you stood up, Vash’s hands already caringly holding your elbows.

“Hey, you’re okay there?” You turned to the side to see his concerned face that grew even more so when he saw the deep scrapes on your cheek. Wolfwood placed a hand on your shoulder as he passed through you to the saloon entrance with a chuckle: “That’s a pretty nasty fall for someone who claimed to be the best rider out of us, sheriff”. You could just growl at him pettily, hearing Vash’s scolding above your head as you tried to dust off your clothes as best as you could before entering the building.

Just great…One thing you’ve been confident in was your Thomas riding skill and you made sure to tease Wolfwood ‘cause of his clumsiness with saddle. You didn’t know what was wrong with those two men, but they both were so much better than you with everything: their shooting skills and physical prowess were not a joke, and you’ve felt a tinge of bitterness every time one of them roared to you to stay back or run away (which most of the time you didn’t listen to). But nevertheless, you’ve been so used to being one of a kind, the strong one, the clever one. The promising young sheriff of your town. Well…the town that doesn’t exist anymore, but still!

Waving off Vash and his attempts to check up your bruises, you went straight into your room for the night once you’ve booked them. This soured your mood a bit – the jeans were dirty and ripped now, the bruises were pretty big, even if not really deep, Wolfwood for sure will tease you back relentlessly, and Vash saw you falling so ungracefully…ugh. Deciding to be a grown up about it, you went for a shower, which made you feel better and decided to sleep off your bad mood. Surely, with a new day it’ll all feel like a funny incident to remember sometimes and laugh about, right?

You heard soft knocks on your door when you’ve been drying off your hair with a towel. “Hey, that’s just me. Wanted to check up on you if you don’t mind?” a sheepish voice spoke, muffled by the door. Of course, he would do that… Opening the door you saw a tall blond standing there, already in his nightclothes, with a small med kit in his hands, which he shook a bit before your face. “Ummm…I know you don’t wanna, but it’s still better if we treat your wounds, you don’t want to get an infection and then nasty scars on your pretty face, right?” Pretty, is it? “Vash, I have my fare share of scars, I don’t really care about them, but if it makes you happy, sure” you stood aside from the door, letting him inside.

Sitting beside you on a bed, Vash started cleaning the skin around your scratches with antiseptic, leaning awfully close to your face for you liking. He seemed to be preoccupied with a task, making ‘tsk’ sounds like a concerned mother would. You’ve felt a tinge of warmth at this thought, not daring to dart your eyes to the side and concentrating on breathing calmly. “Show me the other bruises” Vash asked, and you obediently lifted your shirt to reveal the biggest one that marred your skin from the upper stomach to the hipbone without giving it much thought. Seeing your friend’s cheeks and tips of the ears turning pink, you decidedly pulled it back. “Um…that’s fine. Thanks for worrying about me, I can just do it myself” you smiled reassuringly at him.

“Oh, sorry, I..didn’t mean anything like that. Just noticed that you already have some scars there. Did you get hurt a lot?” you chuckled as you raised your shirt once again for Vash to continue with his medical care. “Well, even though it’s just a silly nickname now, I used to be sheriff for quite some time. Yeah, I have some. Some are knife wounds, some from gun shots, maybe now some new from falling off Thomas” you tried to end it on a funny note, but Vash only frowned and placed a hand on your shoulder. “You know you can stop anytime? It’s not like you must continue to live such a risky life… You can find a nice occupation suitable for une jeune fille like you. Settle in a relatively calm and nice city? Wouldn’t it be better?” He said as if coaxing you, his voice soft and dreamy.

It was your turn to frown at his words. “You know I would if it was something I wanted, right? I never wanted such a life, especially not now, not when I…well… when I’m doing something important and helping you out. And I’ll ask you out of my room if you raise this topic again, okay?” Vash shook his head and chuckled, pressing his fingers, covered in healing balm to your bruised belly. “I surrender, sheriff. Please, spare this pitiful outlaw!” You laughed at that, his fingers somehow burning your skin way stronger than the deepest abrasions.

Idea 1: I want to play Joel Miller against your dominant male OC. I'm looking for someone to break Joel down, use him and abuse him. Angsty, dark, dead dove, smut. Toxic relationship and all that good stuff.

Idea 2: I would LOVE a modern au where I play a female OC (18+) against your Joel Miller. Think best friend’s dad. New neighbor next door. Sneaking around, pining, forbidden desire, all wrapped up in a smutty and fluffy package. Lots of delicious tension.

Idea 3: Another one where I play a female OC against your Joel Miller but this one is more canon-compliant for both the TV show and games. Could be set during Joel's raider days (pre-Boston), or during his time in Boston. She could be a Tess stand-in for bringing Ellie to the Fireflies, OR someone they find along the way. Even something set in Jackson and beyond! Fluff and angst heavy for sure.

I usually write multi-paragraph replies and can adapt to your style and what’s going on in the scene. I’m also someone who can reply every day (thank you boring desk job!), but I’m very patient and am more than happy to write at a slower pace as well.

2023 Fic Wrap Up

I wrote a lot more than I did in 2022, but I really think I could've done more if I worked out a better schedule even with my health issues. I've been slacking on my original stuff, too :T

Status: Multi-chapter / Incomplete (9/35)

Additional thoughts: Started off strong by following my biweekly schedule then it kinda fell apart after some health issues/work stuff. I think a monthly schedule will honestly work better for me for this fic so I don't put other stuff on the backburner all the time.

A lot of this fic is just Murdoc and Anna being angry so far, but there's also something really fun about just writing two bitter, messy people figuring their shit out and still loving each other anyway.

The Fool

Summary: Nineteen, no discernable life direction, stuck behind a counter as he watched everything pass him by. His mother didn’t outright call him a disappointment. And she wasn’t disappointed in him, not like other mums would be. Even so, he noticed her concern, the way she tried to push him to go to uni, to apply for this job or that. It was what mums did. His dad was too much like him to be anything but gently encouraging.

Getting a job at Uncle Norm’s Organ Emporium was the best way to keep her calm. A new start.

Finish the two GrimmIchiRuki fics I left alone for too long (Lights Off and Fighting Chance) in January

Fully edit all released fics in January

Release at least five more one-shots per new fic series (Major Arcana and Firsts) throughout the year

Release monthly updates of my multi-chapter fics (All Out of Song and Ad Infinitum) starting in March

This is just my fic stuff, but I also want to write at least half of my original novel as well by the end of 2024. Here's hoping.
