What would be your voice fancasts for your version of Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Country franchise?

Fun fact: the reason I never answered your DM to me with this question is mostly because I was trying to figure out who would be best for who, but also because I was trying to decide if I should make this a public thing or not, so thanks for helping make that choice. XD

I know this says fancasts for my version, but I went more of a "general voice headcanon" route for most of these. Some also have the actual fancasts, or at the very least the people I wouldn't be upset about having be the VAs even if the voice winds up different from what I hear in my head.

I could really only figure out the Kongs, so uh... Ye. Also, all the underlined names are linked to pages to see more of the stuff they've done!

DK: Mark Fischbach. Zero rhyme or reason, other than I spent a full year drawing practically nothing except DKC characters set to GMOD moments, mostly Markiplier's, so now it's all I hear. However, I would not be mad if Richard Yearwood reprises the role (or even Sterling Jarvis).

Diddy: Ben Schwartz. My Diddy is more teenager-adjacent than most people's probably is (around 14), and I'd be lying if I said my hyperfixation with DuckTales 2017 a couple years back didn't have anything to do with that.

Cranky: This one is surprisingly hard to pin down. Here recently I've been imagining him more with Keith David's voice, but in the past I've also imagined David Tennant, Bernard Cribbins, and Aron Tager (his VA in the cartoon), the latter two of whom have both sadly passed in the last couple of years. I'll also happily take Bill Farmer, tho. For me it all depends on the tone and other factors of the situation presented (eg, an AU, the actual game series, others' interpretations, etc).

Funky: Gotta still be Damon D'Olivera, his VA from the cartoon, but I wouldn't be against Phil LaMarr or Greg Eagles voicing him either.

Candy: I do not hate Joy Tanner's voice for her in the cartoon at all. In fact, like Funky, it's mostly all I can hear for her. If I had to choose someone else to fill the role, it'd probably be Jennifer Hale.

Dixie: I think I had the most trouble with her surprisingly. I didn't necessarily like or hate her voice in the cartoon, but I have to go with Mae Whitman on this one. I was thinking along the lines of how Amity from The Owl House sounds, if you wanna know the thought process.

Wrinkly: Wendie Malick is the only voice I've really actively pictured for my specific version of her. The second I heard the line "Wait---those are MY dumb kids!" in The Owl House, my brain has never let the idea drop. However, if there ever actually is a show version of the DKC series that included her, I would not be against Tress MacNeille being her VA.

Swanky: Will Arnett is just how I hear him by default (I blame DK Vine in part). IDK, similar reasons to Diddy in that it has to do with other fixations of mine colliding into my brain. However, here recently my brain has also been tickled by the idea of James Monroe Iglehart being his voice in a version of the show that actually uses him.

Kiddy: OK, so y'all know how my brain runs. Sadly, sometimes I forget about him. However, I feel like Dee Bradley Baker is a safe bet.

Lanky: Rob Paulsen. IDK, even his normal voice just works.

Tiny: Kristen Schaal, solely because sometimes there's moments of her that cross my mind that make me go "Oh that's Louise Belcher (or Mabel Pines) vibes."

Chunky: Of all the actors, voice or otherwise, I've dug through today to find voices for characters I otherwise couldn't picture... I'ma have to give Chunk the monk Richard Horvitz. It also helps that this is literally one of those VAs I grew up hearing, so I can imagine the role working well, although other VAs mentioned throughout this list could potentially also work well.

Originally the Kongs from the actual DKC series proper is all I was gonna do for now, because it's late and brain hurty, but y'all know me a little better than that. I've got at least two bonus people for y'all.

K. Rool: Similar to a couple of characters above, I'd love it if Benedict Campbell could reprise the role, as he's literally the only voice I've been able to hear for him for years. However, that being said, there are a few others I will accept in his place, being Mark Hamill; Keith David (mentioned above); Clancy Brown; and Alex Hirsch.

DK Jr.: You said it was a fancast for my version, so while I know some people think Junior and our DK are the same person, in this instance I don't. I've racked my brain for a while trying to figure out who I best hear as his voice, and I had songs from a certain Disney animated show playing on loop last night and anyway, long story short, Jeremy Jordan is the headcanon voice for my version of him.

Headcannons for Fiona Fischoeder (my oc)

Basically just a hyperfixation shitpost

A shock to no one, Fiona is pampered and spoiled. Like spoiled to the next level, any child of Felix would have to be

When she was a baby/young child she was dressed up in big, puffy princess dresses and tiaras by her father, who thought she was just the most darnest thing.

Fiona didn't like the itchy fabric and the thickness of the outfits, as it overstimed her, but she did enjoy the attention it got her so she put up with it

She always loved being center of attention whether it be in her Princess dress or preforming on stage

She went to a preforming arts school until the events of s4 when Felix had spent all of his inheritance and had to work with her uncle Calvin

Fiona was 13 when she had to be sent to public school (Wagstaff) because of this and she HATED it with every fiber of her body. She was no longer surrounded by posh kids who study art but with commoner 'peasants', as she called them.

She literally thought she was gonna contract the black death or smthin

She was a spectical in her new school, new kids weren't all that common especially not rich ones

Tammy obviously jumped on this as soon as she could, trying to be besties with the new rich girl but it didn't exactly work for her

See Tammy is richer than most kids in her class but she still isn't rich rich, she is only lower-middle class while Fiona is high class

And for that reason, Fiona kinda saw Tammy as a pest and beneath her, she wasn't at all impressed by the girls money

She didn't like most of the kids bc she didn't think they are up to her standards

But the one unlikely friend she made was Louise

Despite their different upbringings and the 4 year age difference, Louise and Fiona were peas in a pod

Louise and Fiona absolutely clicked from the first time they met, they matched each others energy so well

See Fiona, like her other relatives, has a habit of committing crime. Nothing major just small things that kids think are big deals

They definitely go smash mirrors together when one or both of them is upset

Fiona is kinda like a second older sister who Louise can relate to

The two definitely cause trouble to all those around them, especially Mr. Frond

Moving on to her family life

She's a daddy's girl obviously

You can't tell me if felix had a child he wouldn't treat them like an absolute baby. It doesn't matter how old they get they'll still be his little baby. Fiona is a pure example of this.

He definitely felt guilty for putting her in public school

He is so protective of her it's insane

Fiona and Calvin have a confusing relationship but that's pretty standard with even knowing the man

They don't have a typical uncle and neice relationship it's more like "Oh you're here? Okay". Idk how to explain it other than that, they just kinda tolerate each other

Don't get me wrong they definitely love each other they're family after all but the Fischoeders aren't normal full stop so

But one thing they do have in common is their love for sharks. Fiona loves how pretty they look and finds them cool and they bond over that

They definitely have family outings to the sea on one of their many boats

She also LOVES racoons

Like she's literally in love with them, they're her fav animal along with sharks

She and Linda will bond over the racoons in the alley

Fiona loves Litte King Trashmouth, she thinks they have a bond they don't but she likes to believe they do

Felix definitely doesn't like her around them, he thinks they're dirty and will give her a disease

But she doesn't listen, she pretends to tho

I literally have soo many more hcs for this girl but I'd be here all day

路易斯湖 Lake Louise

我住在路易斯湖村莊三晚，這裡有公車R11可以去湖邊很方便，再加上我沒搶到直接去夢蓮湖的車票，是選擇搭車去路易斯湖轉車，所以路易斯湖邊去了好幾次，不同天候的不同時段。

太陽要偏西的下午時候上Fairview Lookout，光線剛剛好照在城堡飯店。

天氣好的早上則是去走步道，一路上小蜂窩Litte Beehive山頂。

先經過小小的鏡湖Mirror Lake，然後沿路可以清楚看到山上的積雪，也可以看到冰河形成的U型谷地。

來到漂亮的阿格妮絲湖Lake Agnes，旁邊的茶館人爆多，不想多停留就繼續往上走。

更高處的角度可以看到路易斯湖和剛剛的鏡湖。

在山頂的人比較少，更可以好好坐下來賞景。

交通方式：

今年2023年開始，夢蓮湖管制交通，連帶的路易斯湖大眾交通也有點變化。從班夫過來的R8公車在路易斯湖村莊Lake Village只放人下車，不接人上車。

但如果住在路易斯湖村莊的也不用擔心，有秘密公車R11路，專門走村莊到湖畔。站點及時刻表如下，Roam公車的網站上找不到，因為他們不想要非住在村莊的遊客把村莊的停車場佔滿。

隨時隨地都很多人的路易斯湖。

Sverige vant juryen, og Finland vant folkestemmene, men totalt sett vant Sverige med 583 poeng, mens Finland endte på 526 poeng. Norge endte til slutt på en 5. plass. Gratulerer så mye til Loreen, neste år sees vi i Sverige, og vi begynner planleggingen dit allerede nå! Hvilken by vi ender opp i må vi vente litt på å…

Møt oss

Litt sent ute med å introdusere oss, men bedre sent enn aldri! Vi er ingen andre enn Louise og Andrea som dere åpenbart skjønner fra det informative navnet på bloggen. Så litt mer om hver enkelt. 

Louise: Svensk, født i Lund, 26 år, blå øyne, fiskene, liker lange turer på stranda og i marka. Veldig glad i hunder, men allergisk mot katt. Snakker japansk, svensk, norsk og engelsk.  Dårlige sider: ikke ammet som barn --> resultat, dårlig immunforsvar. 

Andrea: Norsk, født i Oslo, 26 år, blå øyne, jomfruen, liker lange turer på stranda og i marka. Veldig glad i hunder og katter. Snakker bare norsk og engelsk.  Dårlige sider: ekstremt dårlig øye-hånd koordinasjon. 

Vi studerer begge Samfunnsernæring hos OsloMet og er nå på praksis hos Geitmyra matkultursenter for barn i 8 uker. Vi er også litt senere ute med praksis enn resten av klassen ettersom Andrea var på utveksling i Nederland frem til slutten av januar.  Følg med videre på bloggen og få med dere våre Geitmyra-eventyr!

API - idémyldring

Jeg og Louise jobber sammen, vi bruker data fra yr. Vi har bestemt oss for å fokusere på vind.

Vi har idémyldret i tre omganger.

Først møttes vi i en gruppe med de andre som skulle jobbe med data fra yr, og snakket litt om idéene våre, som skapte nye idéer.

Etterpå tok jeg og Louise en drodle-session der vi valgte forskjellige data å finne morsomme løsninger på. Vi fikk mange idéer, og valgte egentlig å jobbe videre med et skjørt som skulle blafre i vinden basert på vindstyrke (typ Marilyn Monroe).

Fikk input fra Lars, idémyldret mer, spesielt på ting som ikke nødvendigvis hadde med været å gjøre, men som bare brukte dataen. Vi snakket om det og var enige om hva vi syntes var mest gøy å jobbe videre med. Vi tenker å jobbe med et par øyer som kniper seg sammen når vinden er sterk.
