And now I’m truly going off the rails bc of last asker but I have thought about what plant fits who and it’s my time to shine…

Mithrun is a succulent because they look like flowers but aren’t (tougher and also kind of duller), are elegant yet minimalist, and they’re low maintenance (you could definitely argue that Mithrun is high maintenance instead but I went the opposite route of him never feeling like he needs much water, attention and whatnot). I prefer the classic one that’s a pale greyish green for him but there are so many that are neat…

Kabru as a big floating bladderwort… A carnivorous aquatic plant that traps little aquatic critters. If you just look at the flower it looks so pretty and harmless, distracts from the roots scheming murder… Also it’s an aquatic plant, gives me the vibe of something surviving/thriving in an environment that shouldn’t be theirs but they’ve adapted, like a tallman in elf society…..

I also associate him a ton with himalayan blue poppies, for obvious reasons. Insane that the shade of blue of his eyes is associated with the throat chakra btw, Kui’s always doing 8d chess my god.

For Izutsumi, Faassen's Catmint. It's a species of catnip but a man-made hybrid and not a natural species. It kind of looks like a long puffy cat tail with the shape, and it has a lot of little flowers… Kind of subtle/bland and unassuming at first look, but colorful and sweet if you take the time to look. Feels sort of vulnerable/or even cold at first but like they’re just looking out for themselves even if they are not someone unemotional….. It makes sense to me. Babygirl. Purple is an unexpected choice for her but it feels right

Chilchuck echinopsis calochlora or golden barrel cactus… The first one is smaller, but I was trying to find the perfect lil cactus guy with orange spines and couldn’t really find any that was just perfect. Chilchuck "I am so approachable" Tims, literally round and spiny with his little hairs but also metaphorically fitting… Also the gooden barrel cactus has a bunch of lil yellow flowers that sprout on its top while the calochlora has HUGE stalks with a big white flower that sprouts so like, if you want to take that to be his big heart once he reveals it or the little flowers of his care……

Falin is the funky living rocks plant. They have cryptid energy and are just so weird and colorful and unique. A little unfeeling. Sad that she doesn’t get a plant that’s fun to eat but come on.

I feel like Laios would also be a cactus, with maybe juice that has funky properties kind of like peyote… He’s reserved and [spoilers], but he either has no spines or small/few spines so he doesn’t look all that uninviting or tough… Probably has very pretty colorful flowers! Or he’s like Falin and loves dandelions and bishop’s lace because he can eat it. Or maybe he’d be a vegetable. Sweet potato… Someone said carnivorous plant to which I suggest pitcher plant or sarracenia.

I see Senshi as basil. Enough said. Something that can be turned into spices and is all greenery that’s all I need

-Atticus strolls into the kitchen. He notices you standing near the counter looking for the salt. Quickly, Atticus rummages through the nearby spice cabinet. Without missing a beat, the salt is located. He slips the salt into your hands.

-You thank him then continue cooking. For a few minutes, Atticus just continues to watch you cook. The smell lingers in his nose and his mouth began to salivate.

-A small sense of curiosity began to bloom inside him. Multiple times, he remembered that you would call him mi armor. He couldn't figure out what it meant. Were you unhappy with him? Is this why you called him that?

"What'd ya call me earlier, Doll? Me a-more?" Atticus asked.

-Atticus comes up behind you. His arms slither around your waist. Slowly, small kisses are littered all over your face. Your nose, cheek and forehead are all claimed by his lips. Not a single inch is spared.

-You laugh as he buries his face in your neck. His warm breath tickles your neck. As you try to squirm out of his hold, Atticus tightens his arms around your waist.

"Let go now. I haven't finished." You say as you playfully pushed his arms away.

-He would love pet names in a different language. It makes him feel so happy that you thought of him. He'd try to learn Spanish to give you one as well. (Honestly would probably butcher it and give you something that sounds funky. You'd totally have to correct him and teach him what it really means).

-Would eat up telenovelas and get super invested in them. At the end of the day, he would pull you into his lap and you would watch it with him. Theorizes about future plot points and characters with you.

-Struggles to make food with you. He can only cook an omelet, oatmeal and potatoes. However, Atticus really enjoys your cooking. He finished it every time and always asks for more.

-Super lost when it comes to your culture. However, he understands with time. You just have to be patient and explain it to him slowly. Would enjoy participating in it with you. sees himself as special since you took the time to integrate him into your culture.

-At first, he wouldn't like being around someone else's family too much. It gives him anxiety because it reminds him of his own messed up family dynamic with his parents.

Also, having to many people around. He's not used to it. Eventually, he'd come around after repeated exposure. Even grows on the children in the family. Comes to learn that not every family dynamic is abusive or hurtful.

-Would be super nervous to have his own kids. A little afraid that he might turn out like his father BUT knows better. He's a bit strict with them since he wants them to learn discipline. However, reminds them about how much he loves them through his actions. (Ex: taking them on special bonding trips)

-Absolutely adores when you're pregnant. Gives your stomach little kisses and wants to listen to the baby. Tries to cook all your pregnancy cravings (fails but A for effort) Messages your feet and back.

-Refuses sex. He's really afraid it'll hurt the baby somehow. Only does it when you coax him into it. Very gentle and constantly asks for reassurance.

Colored my cursed Reala x Amigo and NiGHTS x Ulala fan children, Nuria and Endri 😍😍😍

Some insight on their character if you’re interested:

Nuria (Strawberry gremlin on the left):

Nuria is a highly optimistic and friendly ten-year old who loves her family greatly. However, she is also incredibly noisy, hyperactive, and can be pretty annoying at times (which might be normal for a kid like her, but she takes it to the max). Despite her chaos though, she can be very clever and sneaky at times, picking up patterns and new skills relatively easily.

She’ll eat practically anything, including things that are mostly inedible, but her favorite food is the banana pancakes Reala makes.

Although she can’t fly like Reala, she is very quick on her feet, and can climb pretty much anything. She also has a pretty strong grip and can pack a mean punch (or an even meaner CHOMP).

She can paraloop things (and people) by sprinting in quick circles around them (she has done this to the furniture in the house many times, much to her parents’ dismay).

She has a great love for music thanks to her other dad, Amigo, and loves to dance along with him when he plays the maracas. She also knows how to play quite a few instruments herself, including the cymbals, trumpet, piano, and her favorite, the accordion.

One of the very few things that can nullify her chaos is a fruit costume, like if you were to put a cat in a sweater lol (her parents realized she looks like a strawberry when she was a baby, so they put her in a strawberry costume, which she has since paralooped to who knows where).

She likes to color, terrorize children at the playground, and wants to be a dancer or musician when she grows up, like Amigo.

Endri (Bubblegum menace on the right):

Endri is a very charming and charismatic fifteen year-old who knows just what to say to either make someone confident in themselves, or to make them feel like a powerless bug (he often prefers the latter). He can be very sassy and full of himself at times, but he genuinely cares for his friends and family and especially his cousin Nuria, with whom he is closest.

He’s a rather picky eater, not daring to touch something that looks anything less than presentable, his favorite food being Space Filet Mignon with potatoes. He does enjoy a good ice cream sundae every now and then, however.

He’s capable of flying like NiGHTS, which he makes sure to do with grace and precision. He’s familiar with using Chu and Hey rescue beams like Ulala, and can hold his own in a funky dance battle, preferring that compared to hand to hand combat. However, if it’s necessary, he won’t hesitate in getting physical.

He knows how to Drilldash and Paraloop, but has trouble controlling his ability to do so, which frustrates him to no end.

He’s almost always wearing his headphones, making sure he’s well informed on the latest gossip and drama going on.

Hates space calculus with a burning passion but loves English and history classes. He excels in his dance classes in school as well.

He wants to be a Channel 5 reporter similar to Ulala when he grows up, but moreso on the side compared to his main dream of being a bigger live streamer.

Angeal’s Anxiety (AGSZC First Dinners)

Genesis is there preparing with Angeal the first time Angeal and Genesis invite Sephiroth over, and Angeal genuinely has a panic attack. Genesis freaks out a bit and casts Slow on him to help his breathing and Sephiroth shows up early in the middle of this, and doesn't know what to do.

Once Angeal calms down a bit with the two of them holding his hands, he catches the giggles because Sephiroth is wearing some formal wear he picked up at a thrift shop that came from the 70s. It was the only thing that fit that he could find on short notice and has HUGE lapels, wild colors, and a funky cravat, and he brought a bouquet of parsley because he knew he was supposed to bring a bouquet and that Angeal liked food.

Angeal kisses him long and slow and tells him sincerely how perfect it is.

They have a nice dinner after that, and it helps Angeal that Sephiroth looks and acts just as awkward as he feels, and soon enough they all relax into it.

When Zack joins, Seph and Gen are helping Angeal while he freaks out and Genesis winds up grabbing Angeal by the shoulders. 

Genesis: ANGEAL. This is Zack "That mushroom is red, like a cherry, I'll try it!" Fair. He DOES NOT CARE HOW PERFECT THE QUICHE IS.

Zack: *bounces in without knocking*

Zack: Hey guys, thanks for having me over! Not gonna lie, I'm kinda nervous, lol, IS THAT MASHED POTATOES?! *eats a bite* OW! HOT HOT HOT! ANGEAL I'M SORRY IS IT OK THAT I'M HERE EARLY?! I BROUGHT JELLO BUT IT HASN'T SET CAN I PUT IT IN YOUR FRIDGE?!

Angeal’s fond chuckle settles both of them a bit, and Zack’s big hug helps even more.

When it’s Cloud’s first dinner with the group, he’s late. Angeal was already nervous, but now he’s worried. The others try to convince him that Cloud probably just got stuck with his infantry duties and will be up soon, but Angeal can’t contain his pacing, and ultimately decides to go look for him.

He opens the door to find Cloud “Can’t Knock on the Door” Strife. Red face, moist eyes, one hand raised to knock, the other hand clutching a potted cactus so hard the pot is about to shatter, and wearing his dress uniform because it’s the only fancy clothing he owns.

Angeal: Oh! Cloud! Did you just get here?

Cloud: *shakes head*

Angeal: Honey, are you ok?

Cloud: *shrugs*

Angeal: Nervous?

Cloud: *nods*

Angeal: Me too. *puts Cloud’s hand on his heart* See, my heart is racing! I want things to be perfect for you and I’m afraid you won’t like it.

Cloud: *tilts his head in surprise* No, ‘Geal, it’s just me…

Angeal: And it’s just me. Come on in, ‘bo. Is that cactus for me?

Cloud: *nods and thrusts it out, almost stabbing his boyfriend*

How would Dream aura affect him with how many unpredictable emotions error has, or with his glitches there? Who knows! Would it even affect him? Idk! Would Error despise Dream thinking he's trying to manipulate him with how happy he is? I don't think so since Dream is slightly more serious than Blue but Error is unpredictable! Also it depends on the situation! Would Dream goal of making AUs happy revive something in Error to make him let go of Dream? Would Error try and be mindful of his words knowing they could upset the only happy person he knows? Would Dream be absolutely overwhelmed by the constantly changing emotions he feels coming from Error?

Also put in the fact that Dream respects Error because he has to keep the balance, (whether or not it is there is irrelevant) But if we take canon Error who is a cutie potato and a crazy maniac everything becomes so funky. I'm really curious what would happened if they met

Funny story- I wasn't focusing on my surroundings (the usual) and there was a spider on the railing so I touch it and my friend freaks me out by screaming at me and I ended up throwing the spider onto her Daily Hobie HC! I love making samosas Hobie rolled out the dough while you began to add spices to the potato filling, occasionally grabbing the mixing spoon and dropping small bits of the filling into his mouth the moment you had your back turned, acting like nothing had happened. He watches as you thoroughly mix the filling, enjoying the aroma that was wafting into the air. He loved when you made cultural foods, and always wanted to participate in making them so that perhaps one day, he could make them for you like how you do for him. Hobie wasn't a slow learner, in truth, especially with cooking. It only took around 2-3 times of him watching someone make something for him to grasp it, but he's lengthened that time just to spend more time with you in the kitchen doing it. In reality, you would always let him help, regardless if he already knew the recipe by heart or not. Instead of really ever admitting it, you both just lived in those tiny fantasies, which ended up working out either way since you both were accompanied by the other in the kitchen. You finally announced that the stuffing for the samosas was ready, obviously not being able to escape Hobie's final taste test as he swiped a bit off the side of the bowl with his finger and ate it. However, once it came to stuffing the dough, Hobie's menace-ness in the kitchen began to come to light. He watched with a smile as you scooped in the filling, expertly closing off the edges to make sure it looked like a traditional triangle, and putting it off to the side. Hobie, on the other hand, somehow had made a square samosa. While he was stuffing it, of course you didn't think any much of it. However, when he started to close it off, you noticed that it looked like a square more than a triangle. Hobie chuckled mischievously when you pointed it out, saying that he'll make a trapezium next and batting you away lightheartedly when you tried to take it, pouting about his samosa shapes. His pout turned into a deep, feigned frown when you teased about how you're surprised he could even say that word with his accent. He didn't end up making a trapezium, but a petal looking thing. Honestly, not even you know what it is, but Hobie seemed quite protective over them so you didn't question. Once the dough had been used up, with you accidentally having a little too much filling and setting the bowl in the fridge for next time use. For the frying part, you put Hobie in charge, yet you both were visibly leaning far back from the oil. He managed to do a better job than you, due to his long arms. You put the samosas into plates for you and him, even taking out a sweet chutney that you had made beforehand to eat it with in case of the spice levels. Hobie loved when you cooked food, and never wanted to even leave a bit of waste on the plate when you did. Hobie would never miss a chance to be in the kitchen with you, wanting to learn and branch from the things you make so that one day when you're knackered, he'll be able to make something you love for you. -🐦‍⬛

Bringing Hux to Thanksgiving

I'm bored AF today let's have some fun.

Idk man I like forcing this awkward military man into wholesome domestic situations. You can pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it today!

I'm gonna guess they don't have space Thanksgiving so please clue him in

Doesn't get it. At all. A holiday for giving thanks? Pointless in his eyes. He would greatly benefit from a home cooked meal but he won't acknowledge it

Drag his ass to dinner for his own good. He'll bitch and moan the whole way about how 'he's busy' and 'doesn't have time for this'. Ignore him

He's great in crowds typically. Knows how to make polite conversation and not let things get awkward. But I think meeting your family would intimidate him a bit and he'd really try his best to make a good impression on them. Hold his hand and he'll feel a bit better

Also keep an eye out if you got funky relatives. Hux will smile and nod but he's staring with 'help me' eyes the entire time your uncle is grilling him about football

He'll probably keep away from the kids as much as possible. I don't think his skills with crowds translate well to children at all. He'd probably attempt to smile and wave at a baby and it would cry. Either that or kids would magically love him and he's helpless as to what to do about it

When the dinner bell finally rings he walks into the dining room he's actually in awe. He's never seen such a spread of food. He doesn't know what half the dishes are but it smells so good, he doesn't care. He doesn't know the protocols here so just dish him up a little scoop of everything to try

He likes Thanksgiving food more than he anticipated. The staples like turkey and gravy and stuffing and mashed potatoes suit him just fine. I don't think he'd be a big fan or cranberry sauce. The tartness and extra sugar seems like something he'd be unused to. But he'd still finish everything on his plate, not wanting to seem rude. Grill him on what he likes afterwards!

You'll catch him afterwards helping out in the kitchen. It's an odd sight really. Seeing him in civilian clothes for one thing, but sleeves rolled up, elbow deep in soapy water washing dishes while making pleasant conversation with one of your family. It seems so weird for him to be in such a position but something about the domesticity of it warms your heart

He's very thankful you made him go after all. And thankful your mom sent you both home with lots of leftovers. He can't wait to eat more of that pie

-It's easy to get him flustered if you know the right things to say. His fans often compliment him so he's fairly good at keeping his cool when he's on the clock, but he finds terms/petnames like cute/cutie/adorable/beautiful/handsome very intimate so he's more likely to stammer a little if you call him that (this is especially so if it's coming from someone he likes or looks up too)

-He and his sister Penny are the most aware of their problems. Lazer's faults are that he can be blinded by impulsiveness sometimes thanks to his ADHD, which can lead to him saying/doing stuff without properly thinking them through before hand. He also has a habit of running on energy drinks and highly caffeinated foods and drinks which then leads him to crash so many hours later. Lazer tries to combat this by switching his coffee/energy drinks out for tea to help relieve stress and anxiety and taking power naps when he can

-Him and Penny both have awful sleep schedules that they're trying to fix. Lazer plays more at DJ gigs late in the evening that can sometimes last until the early hours of the morning, and Penny often pulls all nighters thanks to her completion attitude with work. They're what you could call the night owls of the family

-Lazer's had his heart broken a lot thanks to past relationships. When his career was first taking off a lot of people got with him just for his reputation and money, most of her partners assumed he was dumb as he was still new in the big world that makes up the music industry. In general Lazer is also very trusting and easy going, so tended to overlook things that concerned him back in the day because he thought he was overthinking. Penny has had to deal with the teary aftermath of his breakups, which often means escorting a drunk Lazer away from a confused bartender and letting him sleep on her sofa for the night

-Him and Penny are actually super close despite them often having those typical sibling disputes

-Drinks his I Respect All Genders juice religiously

-Has some WILD drunk stories (Lazer: So I'm sitting there, barbaque sauce on my titties-

-He's sort of protective of all of his other girl cousins, it's a older cousin/big bro sort of protectiveness which sparked even since Penny asked to be referred to by female pronouns. Penny experienced some hate through her transitioning and that sparked Lazer's protectiveness over the other girls in his family

-Speaking of which he probably cried more than Penny did when she officially transitioned. He's such a worry wort and Penny had to remind him a lot that she was perfectly fine (and that maybe he should go take a shower he was starting to smell-)

-Penny is also very protective of her brother and is not shy of showing it. Penny knows Gavin is a sweetheart at best and a bit oblivious at worst, so if Gavin ever introduces her to his new boyfriend or girlfriend she is instantly suspicious - she's seen Lazer's heart be broken too many times and she swears she won't let it happen again

-He carries Zoot under his arm like a sack of potatoes

-He can work well in very noisy environments. Since he plays at gigs, which are always loud, he can witstand being in loud and crowded environments for a long time. He knows his limits though and will take a break when it gets too much for him

-Sometimes he ends up yelling without meaning too, again thanks to his job. Since gigs are always loud he often has to raise his voice in order for any of his team to hear him, and the habit carriers over to when he isn't working. He gets a bit embarrassed when this happens since he knows it can be annoying to other people, so just kindly ask him if he can lower his voice and he will

-He ugly cries when he's upset. He feels emotions hard so when he gets upset he really gets upset

I think this unholy union came about due to most of these people living ships—however absurd they might seem—rather than characters.

What I mean is that let’s take Lucien. It would seem that his stand are massively obsessed with him. BUT, they are willing to ship him with Elain—someone he doesn’t want or care about, and someone none of the readers care about either. Like they are so entrenched in this idea of Elucien that they can’t step back and say ‘this ship is funky in canon’. Again, it’s cool to ship whatever, but if you gonna say you ‘I like Elain’ then being buddy buddy with Gwynriels makes no sense, because they actually want her dead.

If you say, I love Elucien as a ship, then that’s cool. But don’t pretend to like Elain. You like her for the sake of the ship and Lucien. That’s all. The moment he is officially paired with Vassa you gonna drop Elain like a hot potato. (Which azriel will pick up and eat, no problem)

Today I drew James Brown aka 'The hardest-working man in the Show Business','Godfather of soul','Soul brother No.1' and 'Mr. Dynamite'.He was born on May 3rd in 1933. In Barnwell, South Carolina in a small wooden shack. His name was supposed to be Joseph James Brown but his first name and middle name got switched by accident. His dad was a mix of African American and Native American descent meanwhile his mom was a mix of African American and Asian descent. His family lived in poverty in Elko, South Carolina which was an impoverished town in 1933. And when he was 4 or 5, his family moved to Augusta, Georgia, they first settled in one of the aunt's brothel then they later shared a house with another aunt, his mom left the family because of contentious and abusive marriage and moved to New York (I don't know if his dad or mom had custody of him).He then began singing in talent shows as a young child, first appearing at Augusta's Lenox Theater in 1944. Winning the show after singing the ballad 'So Long'. While in Augusta, he performed buck dances for change to entertain troops from Camp Gordon at the start of World War II as their convoys traveled over a canal bridge near his aunt's home.Now this is where he first heard the legendary blues musician Howlin' Wolf play guitar.Then learned to play the piano, guitar, and harmonica during this period (so he was a multi-instrumentalist). He became inspired to become an entertainer after hearing 'Caldonia' by Louis Jordan and Tympany Five. In his teen years James had a career as a boxer for a short time.At the age of 16 he was convicted of robbery and sent to a juvenile detention center in Toccoa.In juvenile detention center, he formed a gospel quartet with four fellow cellmates, including Johnny Terry.He met singer Bobby Byrd when the two played against each other in a baseball game outside the detention center. Byrd also discovered that James could sing after hearing of 'A guy called music box', which was James's nickname at the prison. Bobby has since claimed he and his family helped to secure an early release, which led to James promising the court he would sing for the Lord. Brown was released on a work sponsorship with Toccoa business owner S.C. Lawson. Lawson was impressed with James's work ethic and secured his release with a promise to keep him employed for two years.He was paroled on June 14 in 1952.James went on to work with both of Lawson's sons, and would come back to visit the family from time to time throughout his career. Shortly after being paroled he joined the gospel group the Ever-Ready Gospel Singers, featuring Bobby's sister Sara. From 1954. Till 1961. He joined the band that changed its name into 'The Famous Flames' after their composition 'Please, please, please' became their hit. And the band would break up and be renamed as 'James Brown and his famous flames' and he released the ballad 'Try me' which was a hit in 1959. And the band then got revived. The band released their top 10 hit called '(Do the) Mashed Potatoes' on Dade Records, James released an album called 'Think!' under 'the famous flames' and even more such as 'Bewildered','I'll go crazy' and 'think' which hinted his shouting style. From 1962. To 1966. He became famous as Mr. Dynamite for the hits 'Lost Someone', 'Baby you're right','Joe Tex', 'Prisoner of love','Papa's got a brand new bag' (to which he won Grammy awards),'I got you' and his No.1 hit 'It's a Man's Man's Man's world'.From 1967. To 1970. He became known as Soul Brother No.1 for his hits 'Cold Sweat', 'Give it up or turnit a loose', 'Licking stick','Funky Drummer','Mother Popcorn','

The bridge is named after him 'James Brown Soul center of the universe bridge',he was inducted in Georgia music hall of Fame, Rock and roll hall of Fame,UK music hall of Fame, Atlantic city hall of fame,R&B music hall of Fame.He was awarded with lifetime achievement award after 34th annual Grammy award after that he got another lifetime achievement award for rhythm and blues pioneer award.He even got the star on the Hollywood walk of Fame.He got BMI urban icon at the BMI urban awards, he received the Golden Plate Award of the American Academy of Achievements.Mayor Charles DeVaney of Augusta held a ceremony to dedicate a section of 9th Street between Broad and Twiggs Streets, renamed 'James Brown Boulevard'.For his 72nd birthday, Augusta unveiled the bronze statue of him that was life-sized.The officials renamed the city's civic center the 'James Brown Arena'.president of Paine College, a historically black college in Augusta, Georgia, bestowed posthumously upon his an honorary doctorate in recognition and honor of his many contributions to the school in the times of need from the Paine College May 2007 commencement.During the 49th Annual Grammy Awards presentation on February 11 in 2007.James Brown's famous cape was draped over a microphone by Danny Ray at the end of a montage in honor of notable people in the music industry who died during the previous year.
