Lady Damini Koeler has to watch her parents' home while they are away on vacation, with her inviting two of her closest people to hang out with her on the first day; Apollo Lumen, her boyfriend, and Crowned Prince Ignatius Von Brandt, her best friend. Apollo arrives first, and after a bit of just him and Mini talking about his day and his run-in with his toxic ex, Nate finally shows up. After some more back-in-forth between the three friends, certain details on Nate's person become cause for questioning, with Nate finding himself opening about parts of his life he's rarely shared before.

Another @thelostrainbowthenovel story, this one taking place the closest to the start of the main story, as it takes place a couple of months or so before it. A little something I had wanted to write after introducing Apollo last year, exploring both his relationship with Mini a little bit and both of their friendships with Nate. A big idea I had last year and another part of why I wanted to write this was to give Nate some of his own lgbtq+ friends in his kingdom, since he doesn't really have anyone else he can talk to about that part of his life(aside from his sister, but she doesn't know much yet). So like it states in the title, a big focus if this story is on him coming out to them, and them all being a refreshing friendship dynamic than he is used to.

Also, there are two small easter eggs/references in this story too! One of them is a song, the other is a video game reference, and if you can get one or both you'll get a special prize! :D

Hi Anon! Oddly, I'm not the best person to ask, I'm gonna feel like I'm recommending you all to read Jane Austen :v

I mostly read by authors and my first choice is always Soln @ihopeinevergetsoberr, no misses there, everything is a smash. Properly excited for playing with this bow (and arrow). Then, @weltraum-vaquero writes Viktor like he deserves the best things in this world and I love his writing for it. If you have some love for Jayce I very much recommend you could have it all (my empire of dirt). Another one is of course @gaybybirth, I've recently read His Majesty The King and loved it. Anything by @hexwhore and @astudyincontrasts is just lovely. Then, @nokwisi has gorgeous Viktor fics, though they are no longer active it would seem. If you are in the fandom for a long time I presume you've read, but @mischievous-piltovan wrote Undercity Development Section and I loved it to bits. There is also a continuation that I didn't have the opportunity to read yet, but I know it's going to be amazing. Reagan @a-babe-without-a-name is writing Sit Next To Me and it's just awesome. I also love Lumen AU by @motthe and anything that comes out from under Bree's @daveth-isnt-dead pen is amazing.

I'm sorry if this is underwhelming :') I'm a slow reader and find comfort in re-reading the works I love. Generally you can find stuff I like under #fic rec on my blog. But you should be asking @doggrowth. Krys has recommended me some stuff that was unexpected and I ended up binging the entire thing in one go like this fic. Not a day passes without me thinking about Viktor from it.
