in the most recent episode of LAES about Lunar’s nightmare, a lot of people were saying in the comments: Oh look it’s old meaner/evil Lunar

And I was like: WDYM meaner/evil??

Ok, I know he worked for Eclipse, but that ju set confuses me. Maybe I have bad memory. Maybe it’s because I’ve only been in the fandom for a few months and had to binge watch 270+ episodes of lore. But I still don’t understand.

Lunar in the nightmare did seem meaner, and maybe before he went 💥 he was more demanding or rude. But I always saw him as goofy and traumatized. And I know some people dislike him bc of outfit changes, his personality, etc.

But I love Lunar. He’s relatable. He had a trashy brother (no offense to Eclipse lovers). He felt like nobody cared for him. He has lost basically everybody at this point, but some came back thankfully. I just love him. 💕

i have literally no idea why but i find it interesting that in all but two dimensions we've seen, sun is either absent or dead in the videos for them-

the two dimensions he is present for are the lord eclipse dimension (even though he was only there for 1/3 of the episodes and is probably dead now) and the dimension where moon flat out never existed

meanwhile, in all the other ones:

i actually have a headcannon that the people that use the star ends up having a mark of the star somewhere on their body

lunar doesnt look like he's melting in these because. unlike the currently dead eclipse we have. he actually used the star and didnt need to store all of it in his body. he has a way to keep it from overhwleming his body ((death and destruction rrraaahh))

and i also have an additional thing related to where the star is located, because i think that's where they 'change', yknow...?????

Because in Evil Lunar's setting, he's still in earth i think. the nuke bomb stuff from the government is still there, meaning humanity still existed or at least majority of humanity had not been gone for a long ass time

While in HM Lunar's setting, he mentioned making a platform far from earth to escape the wither storm that's consuming stuff

And! Evil Lunar mentioned being able to create people.

But could he create machines..?

Do you think after destroying most of the earth, he got bored of destroying things and just stuck with creating and just toned down his destructiveness? He created organic life, humans, and possibly created machines as well?

What im saying is that Evil Lunar probably recreated Eclipse after his whole world destruction thing, and then we now have Headmaster Lunar's current place in the timeline.

So in the Baby Dimension, it is possible that all the little ones were newly built by the Creator, and KC ended up there for… Reasons? Do you consider it unacceptable to leave those little robots at the mercy of the evil mastermind and kidnap them to save them?

OH YEAH. Yeah creator went about the create them, and *left them* on their own to see what they would do (knowingly leaving like 2-3 murderous ones in there.) They may have developed attachment issues in the time span. KC i dont have a full reason why he ended up there but it wasn't on purpose. It WAS on purpose though, that he brought them all with him. He knows darn well what the creator was trying to do. Moon didn't get a say before KC came through the portal with them all. It's unacceptable to leave babies alone for long periods of time. Especially when they don't speak fully yet.

It is time to announce the LOSER'S BRACKET!

The Loser's Bracket is meant to give some love to characters who lost early, so anyone who has made it to the Quarterfinals and farther (even if they lose there) has gotten far enough they don't really need the love of the Loser's Bracket. During our last tournament Red Riding Poll, the Loser's Bracket winner was a character who hadn't even made it out of Round 1! This is for all the characters who might have been less recognizable but still awesome, to all the characters that got overshadowed by others.

The rules for nominations:

The Loser's Bracket will be either a 16 or 32 single elimination bracket, depending on the amount of nominations that are sent in.

Unlike the main tournament, where the polls each lasted a week, the polls for the Loser's Bracket will last only a day. That means the entire Loser's Bracket will probably last around a week.

Nominate as many characters as you want, but don't nominate the same character multiple times. Be mindful that the most nominated characters will be the ones that will make it to the bracket. Also nominate characters one at a time.

Propaganda from the Main Tournament will not appear, but feel free to submit any propaganda you want for why the character should win the Loser's Bracket!

Nominations open today and will close on the 15th of January, the same day the Quarterfinals of the main tournament loses.

Be respectful! Just because your fave didn't make it as far as you wanted in the main tournament or the Loser's Bracket, doesn't mean that the other contestants aren't worthwhile either!
