WAIT. You know that form Shogun has that has a bunch of arms and is very tol? THAT is the prime living jungle gym right there. All the kids crowd around Shogun and are like “Do the thing! Do the thing!” The ‘thing’ being changing into Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto.

The big, scary, former tyrant of Inazuma is just reduced to a giant jungle gym for the kids of the harem to play on 🥺 it’s an endearing sight to see Ei just being climbed on with a bunch of kids wanting her to play with them <3

Some of the courtesans themselves would join in on the fun too. I can imagine Courtesans Dehya and Beidou climbing with their kids on Ei’s multiple arms (much to the dismay of Ei herself since she didn’t want adults climbing all over her) but since the Empress and her kids were entertained, she sucked it up and dealt with it.

instead it’s basically a giant robotic bodysuit that raiden plugs herself into

like so

i mean she like doubles in size when she enters this state

so it’s plausible that she could fit her whole body in there and control the thing with a set of joysticks or something

Puppet Body Limitations

[Though rarely seen by most challengers, the Shogun puppet's vessel does have it's limitations when it comes to combat.

Techniques like the Musou No Hitotachi are mostly reserved for the slaying of powerful opponents and ceremonial proceedings that are conducted to serve as an example to others (reinforcement of the fate that befalls those who become enemies to the Shogun's promise of eternity to the people).

The Shogun puppet was designed with the idea of being able to withstand and contain a large input of Ei's elemental energy for a prolonged period of time. This is a testament to how sturdy and attuned they can be without risk of irreparable damage. However, that does not necessarily mean that the puppet's output of said energy is limitless.

As such, while many have witnessed a lesser version of her Musou No Hitotachi, even fewer have seen the Shogun puppet in her Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto form (excluding the Traveler). This current era of Inazuma's citizens are likely to never witness it in their lifetime unless a disastrous catastrophe is to befall again.

The cost of maintaining that form is the consistent output of electro energy it draws from the vessel. While there is a supply and source, continuously unleashing destruction of that magnitude can wear down the shogun puppet easier, causing her temperature to rise to dangerous levels and requiring a cool down. In that state, she will not be able to conduct any electro energy and will have to rely on her combat skills until her condition stabilises. Situations in which her foes were able to prolong the battle to that extent is rare, though not within the realm of impossibility. ]
